Canterlot, Equestria…

Right now I was shaking and scared of what was going to happen to me. “Should I tell them that I already know them, or pretend that I don’t? Man…this is so hard. If I pretend they will find out eventually, then I’ll lose their trust. If tell them that I know them, I’ll be honest with them, but then they’ll be wary of me...forget it, I’m going to wing it.”

“Now Geoffrey, before we start do you want anything, like water?” Celestia asked.

“Well…um…can I have my clothes and my stuff back, please?” I asked. I was still scared of all of this. I didn’t know what they did to me while was sleeping. Did they see my dreams? God, I hope not!

“Well your clothes are being washed right now, and as for your stuff,’” Celestia motioned towards Luna.

“What? Oh, I’m deeply sorry. I was just curious of these objects,” Luna sheepishly smiled. She levitated my stuff with her magic towards me. Celestia was looking at my reaction the entire time. When my stuff came to me, I took them from Luna’s magical grasp.

“Thank you Princess,” I smiled.

“No need for formalities Geoffrey, please call me Luna.” She gave a motherly smile that calmed my nerves a bit...a bit.

“Oh…okay thank you, Luna,” I said rubbing the back of my head.

“Um…Excuse me Princesses, but I need to ask Geoffrey something. What are those two devices? I’m asking just for security reasons.” Shining Armor asked. I looked at him for a couple a seconds.

“Why would he want to see my I-pod? Oh right, they’re not that technologically advanced yet.”

I mentally face palm and answered Shining Armor’s question, “Oh well these are my glasses and the case,” I held them out so that he could get a good look at them. “And this is my I-pod. It lets me listen to music and play games.”

“Oh, sorry.”

“It’s alright, you were just curious.”

“Music? Could you play some,” Luna asked. I had to think about this I listen to rock and pop. “I don’t think they’ll like Disturb or AC-DC...I could play some Pit-bull, but I don’t think they’ll like that either...Well, might as well play some Pit-bull.

“Okay, just let me find a song…alright here you go,” I played the song.

For me the song was good. Pit-bull will always be my role-model. Well except he parties a lot and I don’t. The Princesses and Shining Armor seemed to like the song, especially Celestia. At least I showed them a piece of humanity’s culture. HUMANITY FUCK YEAH! But thinking about humanity, made me think about my family. Josh probably didn’t know that I was missing, same as my Parents. Just thinking about it made me sad inside.

“My, that was a very interesting song you played,” Celestia smiled.

“Yes it was, your people must be very fun,” Luna said.

“Yeah it was good,” Shining chimed in.

“Thank you, sorry I don’t want to be rude here, but Princess Celestia...” I addressed with the despair in my tone.

“Yes Geoffrey what’s wrong?” Celestia asked. When she heard my voice she changed her facial expression to one of concern.

“Do you know how I can get back home?” I thought that they might have known how to. They are the most powerful ponies in Equestria, so there has to be a way back. When I asked that question I looked at them. Celestia and Luna looked at each other with what look like disappointment and Shining went back to his normal military state.

“Oh God, this situation looks like one of those sad movies.”

I gulped and asked, “Is there something wrong?”

 “Well there is but we should tell you what happened first,” Celestia insisted. This is kind of scared me, “Maybe it’s a delay for sending me back...yeah that’s it, it has to be!” I relaxed a little and took a deep breath.

“Okay shoot.”

“Hopefully they know what that means.”

“Well Geoffrey it all started when my nephew was trying to perform a spell last night. He was trying to make a monkey appear out of thin air. He had an artifact with him that he believed would help him conjured one. Instead of monkey he summoned you, I’m sorry. What is your species called exactly,” asked Celestia.

“Human,” I was still worried on what exactly was going on. But I kept on looking at Celestia for an answer.

“What is she trying to say?”

“Human, okay, when you arrived there was a powerful burst of magic that came out of the artifact. My nephew could not hold it and dropped the artifact, breaking it.”

“So if the artifact is what got me here, maybe it could bring me back,” I thought. I scratched my head still thinking that I actually had a chance of getting home.

“So why won’t you fix the artifact and send me home?” I questioned. I started to think of the worst possible answer that they could give me and I hoped that I was wrong.

Celestia frowned a bit, that was definitely not a good sign. Then I looked at Shining and Luna they have the same face. I was getting nervous again and started to rub my broken arm.

“Can you?” I sounded desperate that time. I moved to the edge of the bed to get close to them. I could clearly see the look in their eyes. They didn’t have to tell me, I already knew the answer.

“I’m sorry Geoffrey the artifact cannot be fixed. There was a powerful gem that was on it but it shatter and no magic can fix it.” Celestia walked towards me and put her right wing around me. I was shocked, that was the only way of going back to my family and my world. Should I have been mad at them, or should I have accepted my current situation. Sure it was nice to know that Equestria is real, but I didn’t know how to feel about this.

The only time I didn’t feel anything was when my great-grandmother passed away. I was shocked when I first heard that she passed away. I did not cry when I heard about it, until I finally went to the funeral that is when I cried, how I should have when I first heard about it. Now when I looked at the sky I know she is up there looking down at me, proud. But is she is up there now? Are she and God looking down at me?

“I’m so scared right now just please Mimi. You are the only family I got that knows about this. Please God just give me the strength to overcome this.” I thought. I looked shock about this. I just sat there looking at the wall, not knowing what to do.

“What are you doing you are 18 years old, a man. Life is hard and you have to accept things no matter if it’s good or bad. Now then ACCEPT the situation. There will be another way to go back. It may take weeks, months, years, or until you die, but at the end you will see your family again. Now nut up or shut up, and carry on.” I shook my head out of my shock.

I looked at Celestia and hugged her with my left arm. She hugged back being careful trying not to put too much pressure on my right arm. She was telling me that she was sorry and she would find another way to send me back, if she could. I cried a little in her fur, and oh God her fur felt so good. But I had to end this, so I removed myself from Celestia and wiped the remaining tears I had. I looked back to Luna and Shining, they both looked kind of sad.

“The moment of truth, should I tell them or not? I mean if I’m going to stay here might as well tell them.” I thought. I know this not going to end well, but I have to be honest about this. So far they helped me, so why not tell them?

“Umm…Princesses and Shining Armor,” I said looking down at the floor.

“Yes?” they all asked in unison.

“Umm…if I’m going to stay here I should be honest with you all,” I kept my position. I was afraid to look at them. I mean they could put me in jail or worse. I shook my head from that decision. I raised my head up to look at them again and they looked confused.

“Umm, okay Geoffrey, if you want to be honest with us, tell us,” Celestia replied. She still doesn’t know why I said that, but she would understand once I told her.

“Okay before I tell you, do not get mad at me or kill me,” I said. They looked even more confused. I took a deep breath and looked at the ceiling.

“God give me strength.” I looked back down and at them again.

“Okay how I already know you, except Shining, the Elements, Ponyville, and Equestria.”

20 Minutes Later….

OH GOD! I was wrong...kinda. Princess Celestia, well she was mad at first that I know them, Luna she didn’t know what to say, and Shining, out of all the ponies I meet, I met Twilight’s older brother. Shining was pissed at me. He thought that I was an enemy or a stalker. Shining and I had an argument between each other and Celestia was the one to break it up. After the fight, Celestia told me that I can’t leave Canterlot and meet the Elements. She told me that I have to earn her trust to leave or meet the Elements. It was all for security reasons and I completely understood. She also told me that they would find me something to do here until I was trustworthy. I agreed to it and they left the room or...I guess it was now my room.

“Good job Geoffrey with your first impression with the Princesses,” I thought. “Now what just wait until they say something?”

I grabbed my Ipod and lied down on my new bed. I put in my earbuds, and started to play some songs while I waited for the Princesses.

Meanwhile at the Throne Room…

Celestia, Luna, and Shining Armor left Geoffrey’s room to discuss on what to do to him. They already told him that he couldn’t leave Canterlot or meet the Elements until he was deeming trustworthy. Shining Armor already doesn’t like Geoffrey, but then again Geoffrey has a little brother. He knows what it feels like to be away from his little sister. The difference between them though is that one of them can meet their relatives and the other can’t. Shining felt bad for Geoffrey now, but Geoffrey is still a threat to Equestria and the Princesses even though he doesn’t look like a threat.

Princess Luna was just sitting on her throne thinking about Geoffrey. While Geoffrey was talking about how he already knows them and the Elements, she didn’t like him. But he said that they were not real where he came from. Luna understood a little, but what changed her view against Geoffrey was when he told her that she was very popular. He also admitted that she was ‘cool’ and couldn’t believe that he was meeting her. None of her subjects were excited to see her, either they would run away or cower in fear. She was happy with him and her fans, even though they were not from this world. Even though Geoffrey was telling the truth, he was still a threat to Equestria, to her sister, and herself.

Princess Celestia was also thinking about Geoffrey. He was very strange to her. When he said the Elements, she wondered how he knew about them. He named every single Element and the Element barriers. At first Celestia was very wary of Geoffrey until he said that they were a ‘show.’ They were entertainment for his people. But he did say that they did not know that they are real. Geoffrey also said that the Elements and the Princesses had fans. That made Luna smile, which pleased Celestia to see her sister happy. Since he knows a lot about the Elements he is considered a threat to them, but he said he is not that strong to take the Elements on.

“Sister what should we do to Geoffrey?” Luna was the first one to speak up. Celestia didn’t know exactly. Geoffrey is a guest and also a threat. Keeping in his room for the rest of his life would not be good. Celestia kept on thinking until she had an idea.

“Hmm…I think Geoffrey could work here until he proves that he is trustworthy,” Celestia answered. “We could also make him a citizen in Equestria, but he must be on constant watch.”

Celestia looked at Luna and Shining Armor for approval. They both nodded.

“Yes Princess but where will he work? Not the guards, that would look weird.” Shining questioned.

“Sister he could work in the gardens. The gardeners are short of ponies and with his physical features he can get places where the gardeners can’t reach.” Luna suggested to Celestia. Celestia thought about it for a couple of minutes and agreed.

“He could work for them, and he would be on constant watch. Better?” Celestia agreed. All three of them agreed to that decision.

“Very well he will be a gardener and stay in Canterlot until when?” Shining Armor asked. Celestia never thought about how long he would stay there. It would be a matter of time until her student and her friends would meet Geoffrey. How about the Gala? It’s only three months away which is a good amount of time for Geoffrey to prove is not a threat.

“He can stay until the Gala. That will give him enough time for him to prove to us that he is trustworthy.” Shining Armor nodded and Luna agreed.

“Good. Shining Armor, I think Geoffrey’s clothes are finished being cleaned. Please tell the maids to bring them to him and also bring him here for breakfast, I bet he’s hungry.” Shining nodded and went to get Geoffrey.

When he left, Celestia looked at Luna and asked, “Ready for dinner?”

Geoffrey’s Room…

I lied on my new bed just jamming to the music. As long as I had some type of music with me I would always be okay. All that was missing was my clothes and…my family. I still forgot that I was in my boxers. I never wondered why they left it on...unless…oh.I felt my cheeks heat up at the thought.

“Where are my damn clothes!?” I thought and as soon as I thought about that someone or somepony rather, knocked on the door.

I took off my earbuds and turn off my Ipod, “Umm, come in!”

Shining Armor and a maid that walked in. The maid had my clothes, which were clean, and placed it on the bed. I thanked her and she left the room. I put on my pants with my left arm until I reached the shirt.

“Umm…Shining, I can’t put on my shirt with one arm broken.” I said. He looked at me and his horn lit up with a pink aura. Then my right arm started to light up the same way. It felt weird and tingly all over my right arm. Then it feel numb. I heard loud pops and snaps coming from my arm. He broke the cast off of my arm and I regained feeling in my arm again.

“There you go, it’s healed. The Princesses wants you to have breakfast with them when you’re done.” Shining said. Hmm he still sounded pissed. Hey, I said I was sorry. I thanked him and put on my shirt. I nodded to him and said I was ready. He told me to follow him and I nodded.

“Hmm wonder what the Princesses are going to do to me.” I thought and then my stomach growled. “I’ll worry about it later, but first BACON!”
