Chapters You wake up in your bed. Typical Saturday for you. You yawn, then rub your head.
"What a dream. It almost felt real." You say to no one in particular.
-That's because it was.-
"Agh!" You scream at the mysterious voice.
-Agh!-
"Who are you?" You ask, frantically searching the room for any one.
-I'm you. Well not you neccesarily, but I'm in you.-
You get up from looking under the bed. "Wait. You're in my head!?" You grab your head.
-Precisely. I am your subconscious. You are possibly the only one that knows I exist.-
"How did you get in my head?" You ask, rubbing your head.
-Well... You are an artificial life form taking part of a lab experiment. Something went horribly wrong with a fusion experiment, which caused my brain to mix with your motherboard. Unfourtanatly, you have control of the body, while I have control over your mental state.-
"What!? Really?" You ask.
-Ha ha. No, not really. It's fun messing with people who panic.-
"Well. Do you know what really happened?" You annoyingly ask.
-Not at the moment but I'm pretty sure we can figure something out. But I need to know something first. What's your name?-
"It's Michael Green. Why?" You asked puzzled. You finally lower your hands, because you feel comfortable with a talking someone in your head.
-No reason. Just needed to know who's head I was trapped in.-
"Okay?" You get up. You walk over to your computer, and sit down. You try to ignore the voice in your head, and turn on the computer.
You see an odd folder near the recycle bin. The thumbnail just had a picture of circle in a circle in a circle and so forth.
"What's this? I've never seen this before." You ask yourself, or more precise, you ask me.
-I haven't a clue. Are you sure it isn't just some of your pornography?-
"Har har. I'm dying of laughter." You say, urked. You click the myterious folder. It opens a word document, with only a picture of that circle thing.
-That picture looks oddly familiar. Wait a minute... Oh god. Close the file. CLOSE THE FILE!-
Before you can react. The screen turns blue, and a strong wind comes into the room. The blue screen then forms into a circle, and sucks in anything it can. You are getting pulled into the circle, and have nothing to grab.
You get sucked into the circle, and dropped on a dirt road. The circle closes behind you. You get up slowly, but the impact cause you to be drousy.
"Where am I?" You ask rubbing the pain out of your head and looking around.
-Welcome to Equestria. That folder was a portal. Congratulations you're in your favorite show!-
"What!? That's impossible!" You panic as you realize that you've just been teleported to a little kids show.
-You might want to not talk out loud. People will think your crazy.-
~I'll try not to. I'll think my conversations with you then.~
-Atta boy! Now then. It is crucially important that none of these ponies know that you know them.-
~Why not?~
-How would you feel if a strange creature came to your house and said "Hey Michael! I'm your biggest fan!"-
~Your right. I should restrain myself from showing them any knowledge.~
You look at your surroundings. It's midnight here, and your in front of a tree. Twilight's tree, if you recall correctly. You walk up to the door and knock. No answer. You knock yet again. Still no answer
~Why doesn't she answer?~
-Oh I don't know. Probably because its the middle of the night perhaps?-
You were about to knock again, but then considered what I said.
~What am I supposed to do then?~
-If I were you. I'd just walk around and wait for morning. Then I'd come back here and get the rest I missed.-
You think about my suggestion, and then you think you should just keep knocking. There is always that option that you could just sleep outside, or you can just try and sneak into the house.
Hmm what to do... What to do?
~Well I guess I do have to get used to the place.~
You look around, and spot a pile a black soot behind you. It was on the position you landed on. As you walk over to the pile of trash, something makes a crunch sound as you step on it. You look down at your feet, and look at the object you stepped on. It was your alarm clock, destroyed and half pulverized. You then realize that the pile of rubbish are your things (or at least were).
-Huh, looks like anything sucked into the portal was disintegrated.-
You stare at the ash, trying to find at least one thing that wasn't destroyed. No such luck. Everything single thing was either ash, or snapped in half. You decide that this wasn't going to be much use to you anymore. So you walk away from both the pile, and the tree.
You recognize nothing as you walk through the road.
~None of this seems familiar. Are you sure this is Ponville?~
-I didn't say this was Ponyville. I said this was Equestria. For all I know, we could be in Manehatten.-
You keep walking and reach a familiar sight. A big house that looks to be made up of sugary delights. Coated with frosting, as if the building itself was a pastry.
~This has to be Ponyville. If I'm correct, this is SugarCube Corner.~
-How could you be so sure? This might be some bakery in Manehatten that just happens to look like SugarCube Corner.-
You stare at the building for a while before walking of again. A couple minutes walking, and you yawn.
-Oh come on! You can't be sleepy! You just woke up!-
~I can't help it. I'm just sleepy.-
Suddenly a bright light shines on your face. The warm light blinds you for a couple seconds. Then you see that the sun is coming up.
-Well that was quick. The princess does her job very well.-
As the sunlight bathes the little town, you here yawns and the sounds of chirping birds waking the ponies up. You start walking back to the tree, because that is where you started.
When you arrive, you are about to knock on the door, when it opens itself. A little purple dragon opens it. This must be Spike, any chubby little lizard around this area would be Spike.
~This is absolutely one hundred percent Ponyville. No other place would have him.~
-Touché-
The little reptile takes a quick look at you, obviously surprise by your appearance.
"Uh hey! My name is Mi-" You are interrupted by the loud scream Spike made. He shut the door on your face, and you could hear his rapid footsteps running away from it.
-Wow. You're so ugly, you scared him away.-
~What was that all about?~
"Spike calm down. I'm sure there a logical explanation for whatever you saw." You heard the obvious Twilight say.
The door opens, and you are face-to-face with Twilight. You want to squeal with delight that you have just seen Twilight in reality.
"Sorry about tha-" she paused when she saw what your were. Her mouth hung open, and she pulled her head back as if frightened by you. An awkward silence ensues for a cool minute.
"Um. Hi? My name is Michael. I am lost." You try to start the conversation with the bookworm, Twilight Sparkle.
"Wh- What are you?" She asks, now obviously nervous.
"Oh. I'm a human. I... Uh."
-Was randomly teleported here by a robot who tried killing me, but I awesomely fought him! Now I'm here because before he died, he activated a portal here! So I blindly walked through it!-
~No! That's stupid. She won't buy it.~
-You try coming up with an excuse.-
"I uh... Don't know how I got here." You say to her.
-Brilliant excuse. I would have never thought of it myself.-
"Excuse me a moment." Twilight then gently closes the door. You can hear the conversation between Twilight and Spike.
"You didn't tell me it was a new creature!" The muffled scolding of Twilight emits from the other side of the door.
"I tried telling you, but you wouldn't listen!"
"I need you to get the others. This creature could be dangerous. I'll try to keep it calm meanwhile you get them."
"No way! I'm not going out there! It might eat me!"
-Isn't it awkward listening to other people's, or in this case, pony's conversations?-
"Please Spike. It's either that, or risk the creature getting loose."
"Ok fine, but your going to have to distract it."
"Fine"
Suddenly, the door opens again. Twilight looks at you, with a frightened expression.
"Uh... W- would you like to come in?" She asks nervously.
"Sure. I'll come in." You accept the invitation, and crouch to walk inside. Twilight closes the door after the both of you walk in. She offers you a seat, and you take it. She also sits on a stool with a pillow on it across from you.
You here the door reopen and close again. You can tell it was Spike, leaving for the others. The awkward silence returns, as Twilight just stares at you, marking your every move.
~Now what? She's just sitting there, not saying a word!~
-What are you asking me for?-
~You're my sub-conscience! You're supposed to be giving me advice on things!~
-Well. I don't know, start a conversation with her.-
~How?~
-How about her name?-
"So uh. What's your name?" You ask, taking the advice I gave you.
"I am- I am Twilight Sparkle." She says, still nervous about you.
"Oh ok." You say.
Another awkward silence comes in once more.
-Jesus man! Do you know anything about continuing a conversation?-
~I can't help it. I don't want to scare her anymore than she actually is.~
-She isn't Fluttershy dude.-
~I know that, but she thinks I can eat her.~
-No. That would be Spike. I'm pretty sure she is over there thinking about how you can contribute to science with you.-
~What do you want me to do?~
-I don't know! I just hate silence. I don't like it when things aren't doing anything. I am a very impatient person.-
~Well...~
You and Twilight just sit there silently. You look around the room, and spot the large bookshelves with a seemingly endless amount of books. Twilight just sits there, and it looks like she is studying you.
Finally you get up, and you cause Twilight to flinch as your body grew over her. You walk over to a book shelf, any book shelf. You get to the book shelf, and examine the books on it. You look back at Twilight, and she stares at you. You return your attention to the books.
You take out the book directly in front of you, and look at the cover. The title read "Potions and Crystals Vol. 73." You open the book, and what you saw caught you by surprise.
The words inside the book were unrecognizable. They weren't in English, but they did have pictures. On the left side, it had a picture of a ruby like rock. On the right, there was the weird writings.
~What do you think it says?~
-That ruby is a "love gem." It holds the secret to being a successful lover. One you wields it will have control over there true loves heart.-

-No. I just looked at the picture, and made up my own story.-
You face palm at my stupid remark, causing Twilight to flinch a bit.
-Hey I just remembered. You don't know the "little dragons" name.-
~Yes I do. It's Spike.~
-Yes I know. What I mean to say is; you're not supposed to know. Ask her what it is, so that you can use it without raising suspicion.-
You turn back at Twilight, still holding the book in your arms.
"Hey Twilight, a little dragon opened the door. What's his name?" You ask.
"Oh him? It's Spike." Twilight says, looking around as if she's expecting an ambush.
"Ok. Thanks." You thank with a smile. You return back to the book in your grasp. You stare at the weird words for a while.
~Well now I know I can't read pony books. But why was the title English?~
-Maybe this particular book is from some other country. Try another one.-
You put the book back, and look for another one. You scoot two steps over to the right, and grab another one. This one read "Magic and You Vol. 34." You open the book, and to your relief, it's in English.
~This one is in English.~
-The other book must've been from some other place in Equestria.-
You put the book back, and turn back to Twilight.
"So... I can assume you're a librarian?" You say looking around the library.
"Yes. I uh... like to read." She says with a weak smile. You sit back down on the seat you started on.
"I can see that. The rows of books are endless!" You chuckle after you say that. She nervously lets out a little laugh as well.
"Yeah. Sometimes my friends call me am egghead." She points out, with a nervous smile.
~I'm gaining her trust!~
-Don't tell me about it. Keep going!-
"An egghead? Your head looks pretty normal to me." You say with a smile.
-Argh! The cheesiness! It burns!-
She lets out a comfortable laugh, and you see that she is getting used to you.
"And to think Spike said you were going to 'eat me'" she states, with a little laugh.
"He said 'that'?" You ask with a chuckle, "Kids these days, they'll believe anything."
Finally, you have befriended Twilight. It's a good thing too, any more silence, and I would've flipped.
Suddenly, the door opens. Looks like the others have arrived, as well as Spike. Both you and Twilight look over to the opening door.
"Well. My friends are here. I'll introduce yo-" Twilight is interrupted when a particular cyan pegasus tackles you to the ground.
"What's this I here about you trying to eat my friends!?" It's Rainbow Dash. You recognize the rainbow mane, and the cyan coat.
"What!? That's nonsense! Who told you I tried to ea-" You stop yourself, as you already figured it out. You look over to Spike, who is cowering behind the four others, and they all looked mad. Even Pinkie Pie! The party pony extraordinaire is also there with a angry look on her face.Twilight got off her seat and walked over to Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash, let him go! He's harmless." Twilight assured her.
"No way! I am not letting him eat anypony!" Rainbow Dash eyes look menacing, as if she could kill.
"I'm not going to eat anyone! Let me go!" You struggle as you can't break free from Rainbow Dash's grip.
"It's not going to eat anypony. If he did, don't you think he would've already eaten me?" Twilight points out.
Rainbow Dash looks down on you. After a while, she lets you go.
"Alright fine. But I still don't trust him." Rainbow Dash says, as she walks away from you. You get up, dusting yourself off.
"Thank you. I appreciate your help Twilight." You say as you swipe the remaining hints of dust off your arm.
"Your welcome. Girls, this is- um" Twilight pauses, and looks over to you.
"Michael." You say, placing your hands on your hips.
"Michael." She returns her vision to her friends. "He is completely harmless." The angry looks of her friends fade from angry to puzzled. Finally, their faces give in to bright smiles. Except for Rainbow Dash, she is still shooting daggers into you.
"Michael, this is Rarity." Twilight says pointing a hoof over to the white unicorn.
-Oh yeah that's nice. Start with the worst pony.-
~You don't like her?~
-Meh. She's ok, but she can give a bit of unnecessary attitude , don't you think?-
~I guess that's true.~
Rarity takes a step forward, and sticks out a hoof. You grab her hoof, and gently shake it. Trying to act as formal as possible for Rarity.
"It is with upmost pleasure to make your divine acquaintance." You greet as you take a small bow.
"Ooh! What a gentlecolt! I do believe we will be good friends." Rarity says, before backing away back into the others.
"Next is Applejack." Twilight says, and Applejack walks forward.
-Ah, the cowpony. A mare with a taste of nothing but apples.-
"Well howdy partner! Mighty sorry for the ruckus Rainbow made. Hehe." She sticks out a hoof, and you grab it. You might have expected it, but it caught you by surprise anyway. She shook your hand violently, like she was trying to pop a soda bottle.
"Nice to meet you!" You say. Then she backs away, back into the group of five.
"It's ok Fluttershy. He won't hurt you." Twilight beckoned the frightened yellow pegasus. Funny, first she was mad at you for 'trying to eat her friends', but now that your (kinda) proven harmless, she won't even come close to you.
"This is Fluttershy." She says, and the other four push Fluttershy towards you.
-Fluttershy, the pony scared of her own shadow. I mean c'mon! Who gets scared of their own shadow!? That's ridiculous! But then again, this is Fluttershy.-
She lowers herself from you, obviously scared. You try to make your approach as gently as possible.
"Hey there Fluttershy. Don't worry I won't hurt you." You say as you squat down to make yourself look not so big and scary.
Fluttershy lets out a subtle screech of terror, and retracts her body away. You put one hand in front of her, and give a heartwarming smile to her. She stares at your hand for a while, and then looks over to Twilight. Twilight cocks her head over to your hand, and Fluttershy looks back at it.
Fluttershy shuts her eyes, and slowly (eventually) puts her hoof on your hand. Once her hoof is on your hand, you very gently shake it. Fluttershy opens on eye, and sees your gentle acts of carefulness. You can see that this is working, because she is rising up closer to you.
"Glad to be your friend." You say with a smile. She returns the smile, and gets up. You let go of her hoof. Fluttershy then backs away from you, back into the group.
"Next we have Pinkie Pie." Twilight says.
"Nice to meet you Pi-" You are interrupted when the party pony hug-tackles you (Is that a word? Hug-tackle. Too bad, it is now). You gasp for air as she squeezes the life out of you.
"Welcome to Ponyville!" She starts screaming. "Sorry I thought you were a big meanie face, and for thinking you were going to eat Twilight! I thought you were a monster! And I'm sooooooo sorry!" She tightens her grip every time she paused in a sentence.
"Pinkie... Pie... It's... Ok... I... Can't... Breathe!" You desperately call out, hoping she would move. She lets go, and you try to get as much air back in you as possible.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so so so so sooooooo sorry!" She apologizes while you breathe frantically.
"It's fine Pinkie. Just try not to kill me next time." You say before a chuckle.
-I honestly have no comment on Pinkie.-
"Okie dokie lokie!" She says, and bounces her way back to the little group.
"And last, Rainbow Dash. Which I guess you two have already met." Twilight says.
Rainbow Dash walks up to you, still squinting her eyes at you.
"Uh... What's up?" You say, while crossing your arms to make yourself look 'cool.'
"I'm watching you." She says, then back away into the group. Your attempts to look 'cool' fade away as you lower your hands back down, and your lips form a frown of disappointment.
Suddenly you yawn. This sudden drowsiness is killing you. You don't know why, but you just feel sleepy.
"Well then. Now that we're all friends." Twilight says. "What do you want to do Michael?" She says looking at you. Upon hearing Twilight, your eyes shoot open.
-Woah. Falling asleep are we? How could you be sleepy anyway? You just woke up about an hour ago!-
~I'm sorry. I don't know why either.~
-I'd think you should get some more sleep time, before you do anything else.-
~Well...~
You yawn once more, before making your mind.
"Um, Twilight? I would really appreciate it, if I could maybe find a place to sleep?" You say, trying to run the sleep out your eyes.
"Oh, sure! You can sleep in my bed. It's right upstairs." Twilight says, beckoning at a set of stairs next to the bookshelf you previously examined.
"Thanks Twilight." You say as you walk upstairs. You reach the top of the stairs, you find yourself in front of two beds. One is very small, and circular. The other is a tad bit bigger and square, but still smaller than you.
-They're small.-
~Thank you... I couldn't figure that out on my own.~
You figure that an uncomfortable sleep would be better than no sleep at all. After all, you won't be able to think straight when all you're thinking about is sleep. You get on the bigger bed. It takes you a while to find a comfortable position on that small cube of wool, but eventually you find one and drift off to sleep.
[*From here on out, I will be presented in third person*]
You wake up in a bright white room. Somehow, you feel like you've been here before, but you can't put your finger on it. All of a sudden, a wooden door appears in front of you. You open the door, and inside there is a mysterious person on a bed. Next to him, a desk holding a small laptop. Walking up to the bed, you look around for anything. All you can see is white, and the guy on the bed. You're pretty sure you've never seen him before, but yet he is still here.
"Psst! Hey. Wake up. Who are you?" You nudge the sleeping fellow in an attempt to wake him up.
"Five more hours!" That voice. It's extremely familiar.
"Get up! I need to know who you are!" You are now pushing the person.
"Alright! Alright! I'm up! Oh hey Michael." Now you recognize the voice.
"You're my subconscious. Aren't you?" You ask raising a brow.
"You know it! Daniel's the name." Daniel takes the laptop from the desk. He starts typing something in it, and all of a sudden the bed starts fading away. Small numbers and letters form on the bed, and then the bed is completely gone. Daniel appears standing in an undershirt and black shorts.
"Ho- How did you do that?" You ask, dumbstruck at the disappearance of the bed.
"That's simple. This laptop allows me to do things in your head." Daniel shows you the screen. On it, it's just a small bar, like if you're putting the password to a windows computer. The background is red, while the bar is white. There was also a small logo at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. It was a a circle, in a circle, in a circle, blah blah. Below the circles were the letters 'P.O.L.K.' in small transparent (but noticeable) letters.
"Watch closely." Daniel types in 'Casual attire' into the small bar. He presses 'enter,' and all of a sudden his clothing fade away into the numbers and letters. They get replaced by another clothing attire. Into a black button-up shirt under a black hoodless jacket, dark blue jeans, a black backwards hat, a pair of sunglasses, and a pair of Converse.
"How's that?" He asks, stick his arms outwards. The laptop was still in his hand.
"That's amazing! How does it work?" You ask, fascinated by the astonishing acts.
"I don't know exactly, but it's really cool." He says, admiring the laptop.
"Did you make it?" You ask.
"Well, no. I didn't necessarily make it." He replies.
"What's the small little logo at the bottom do?" You ask, pointing to the logo you previously noticed.
"I. Don't. Know. I haven't really cared for it." He replies tapping his finger on his chin.
"Click it!" You say, excited for its effects.
"Okay, here goes nothing." Daniel moves the mouse to the logo. Which makes the pointer turn into a hand with a finger. He clicks it, and all you can see is static.
Suddenly, you are in a black room. You see two big guys with earpieces and suits and ties under a jacket.
"Where am I?" You ask, looking up at the big guys. They are holding her stern faces, and have there hands behind their backs.
"Come with us." One of the two say.
"I'm sorry. I have to find a way to get back to Po-" You are interrupted when they both grab each of your arms. "Hey! Let me go!"
They drag you through a door, and toss you in front of another person. This person was wearing a lab coat, his hands were also behind his back. He was wearing reading glasses, and his hair was grey.
"Who are you?" You ask getting up.
"That isn't important. What is important is Daniel." He replies, keeping the serious look on his face.
"Daniel? Is he here?" You ask looking around for any signs of him.
"No..." The man in the lab coat started to walk in a certain direction. "But the man in your head is very, very dangerous." The man raises his hand to grab a small chain and pulls it.
A dim light reveals two pictures pinned on a board. The first picture showed Daniel in a glass box, tied sitting on a wooden chair, blindfolded. The next showed that he was gone. The ropes were ripped, the blindfold was on the ground, and the chair was tipped over. There was also a huge crack in the glass.
"You see. Daniel escaped our lab. He was a subject in our testing chambers. He is dangerous for one reason, and one reason only. He has the capability to hurt people, and feel nothing for them." He explains.
"Like a sociopath?" You ask, examining the pictures.
"Precisely." The man walks over to another area, flicks a switch, and another dim light reveals a small television on a metal desk. "He cannot be allowed to walk free."
He turns on the small television. The first thing you see is a caption labeled 'Subject: Daniel Rhodes Test: Memory Wipe' then transitions into the same picture that was on the wall. Daniel was blindfolded and strapped to a chair. Suddenly, a man in a suit similar to the one of the two guys that brought you here walked in. The man held a syringe full of a red liquid. The man proceeded to stand in front of him. Suddenly, Daniel ripped off the ropes, and charged at the man. The chair tipped over as he pushes the man against the glass, causing it to crack. The man fell out of sight. Daniel backed away to the chair, and took off the blindfold, dropping it to the side. He then runs off screen, while two others run in through the other side, chasing him. The video fades black, and a caption is read. The caption read 'Results: Escaped, Code Red.' The video ends.
"So you want to catch him?" You ask crossing your arms.
"No..." There is a slight pauses as he looks at his watch. "I want you to kill him."
"What!? No... No no." You disagree shaking your head.
"We don't have much time Michael. Your dream is about to end." He says looking up at his watch. "If you don't kill him, he'll kill the ponies."
"Wait... What!?" You back away.
"That is his next target. We traced him heading to Ponyville. He plans to kill them in order to sustain his bloodlust." He says seriously. "Times almost up Michael. Do it."
"How do you know my na-"
You wake up. You're still on the small bed. You think about the things that just happened in your dream.
-Oh finally! You're up!-
That voice in your head is Daniel. You know for sure now, but is he really who that guy said he was?
-Where did you go? I just click that logo, and you disappeared in front of my eyes! What happened? Where'd you go?-

"What? What's going on?" You ask as you just wake up. You find yourself in a white room, a bright white room.
"Remain seated, you can stand if you desire, but we advise that you remain seated." There is a robotic voice coming from somewhere. You are sitting on a metal chair, but it is surprisingly comfortable.
"Processing information."
