The Aurora Boreallis

I flew down and landed in the middle of the town circle. Everypony who was walking in the area stopped and waved at me. I couldn't believe it. They didn't bow to me anymore, they actually listened to what I wanted them to do last night. It was my wish to them after all. They should be bowing to the Princesses, not me. I don't want to look like I came here to take over Equestria. I waved to a couple ponies as I began to walk through the streets of market center.

Ponies started walking up to me, greeting me and shaking my hoof every chance they got. Even the media ponies started taking and pictures of me and filming my sudden appearance into the marketplace. Some were still a little timid to approach me, but I didn't mind it. They'll be comfortable with it later on. I continued to walk down the street while more and more ponies began following me, asking me if I wanted to join any social events and what not. I was reeling. They wanted me to hang out with them. With normal ponies, it takes a lot to convince them to talk to someone who is the embodiment of the atmosphere, but here in Ponyville, these ponies are different. They understand anypony, no matter who they are.

One pony with a picture of ice skates as a cutie mark came up to me.

"If it's not too much to ask Mr. Aurora, my company is throwing a fund raiser for the Celestia Charity Org. and we would absolutely love it if you were to come to the fabulous Celestia Supericeway as a guest." .

I thought for a second in confusion, then remembered that last thing he said as my mind clicked. The Celestia Supericeway was a massive oval track in a huge dome a few miles down from Ponyville next to the Everfree Forest. The place was built to hold weekly ice racing events where generally Earth ponies would literally speed skate on all fours on the track at 150 mph. Some of them could even reach 200 mph+. It's simply the most played and watched sport in all of Equestria. Ponies would come from all over the world just to skate on the track and feel the rush. I knew how to skate. I mean, how else did I tour the polar ice caps on my own? Flying? Hell no! It was too cold and I was getting tired of using my power to flap my wings.

I nodded my head with a smile in return.

"That sounds like a splendid idea." .

With that response, all the ponies who were trailing after me erupted in a loud exclamation of cheers and whoops. They must skate as an activity on a regular basis as well.

"What time?" , I asked.

The earth pony responded, "Does tonight sound good?" .

I nodded, "Sure."

He beamed at the conformation.

"Swell! I get the event set up! You can even bring one partner if you wish!"

I replied, "Will do."

The ponies cheered and waved goodbye as I took off to circle around Ponyville so I could find Twilight's house. I still had trouble finding out what her house looked like. Something like a tree or something......there it is. I spotted the hollowed out tree house and swooped down to the front door step.

I gave a light knock.

"Come in Aurora" , a voice said.

How did she know I was at the......oh never mind. I opened the door only to be greeted by Twilight and five of her other friends. Pinkie Pie had a sheepish smile on her face with a small blush as well. All five of them ran over and gave me a huge group hug. I think I had an idea of what was going on, but I asked the question anyway.

"Guys! What's with the hugs?" . They all looked at me with huge smiles. Applejack was the first to respond.

"Why yah got yerself a nice marefriend. That's why."

My face instantly turned red. They all laughed as they all let go of me and settled. I quickly turned my head to Pinkie, who apparently ended up on top of my back for some reason while I was on all fours.

"Please.....tell me that was the only thing you said to them....." .

She timidly responded.

"Well....." .

Uh oh.

I quickly shook her off my back and apparated out of the house to avoid the embarrassment.

"Oh no you don't!" , I heard Twilight said.

Within two seconds, I somehow apparated back into the house and landed on my back. All five of them walked up and circled around me. I turned to Twilight.

"....How the hell did you do that....." .

She smirked at me,

"I know all the possible dimension openings of my house. I teleport in and out of my house on a regular basis. So all I did was put a spell field around the house that sends whoever trying to teleport out of here, back to where they started." .

I facehoofed as Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie, and surprisingly Fluttershy, started giggling at me.

Rarity spoke, "Aww there's nothing to be ashamed of darling. You're the only one who had the guts to date Pinkie."

I shot a glare at her.

"No. Pinkie was the one who approached me, with brute force. I WAS STRAPPED TO A FRICKING TABLE AND GOT MOUTH RAPED!!!!" , I bellowed.

All the ponies seemed to giggle even harder except for Pinkie, who blushing blood red. I sat up on my haunches as the ponies backed away to give me some space. Pinkie went right ahead and layed down in front of me, resting her head on my lap.

All the other ponies responded in a chorus of "awwwww's" .

I looked down at Pinkie who looked up at me with the brightest smile and giggled.

This pony was the weirdest I've ever met..........but I kinda like it.

Rartiy spoke to me, "Darling, were you able to get here safely. Did the other ponies obeyed your accord?" .

I responded with a smile.

"More like they really wanted to meet me. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but they seemed to have reacted a lot positively than they did a couple days ago. They really like me. They don't see me visually as this almighty superior being, they seem to accept me as one of them in a general way." .

She seemed delighted, "Oh that's wonderful news dear!" .

As the rest of them were talking about,

I looked down at Pinkie, who was playing with my green rings that were on my forearms. I smiled and gave her a light tap on the head with my hoof.

She looked up at me with those beautiful eyes. "Yes?" .

I asked her, "Would you like to go to the Supericeway with me? The manager of the place me to join for a fund raising event and said I could bring one partner."

She jumped and hugged me mid air.

"I'd love too!!! I love skating! I've been ice skating since I was a little ity bity filly!!!" .

The others seemed to have caught on.

"Yer goin' to the iceway with Pinkie? That's the best place to get yer speed goin' if yah haven't been there yet. I just wish somepony I love dear could take me there too."

Applejack said as she nudged Rainbow, who was standing beside her.

Rainbow blushed,

"Maybe tomorrow Applejack. Let them have their night. We don't want me and you tearing up the track with our awesomeness." .

She brought her close to a hug.

My ears drooped in confusion.

They're.....dating......didn't see that coming.

Twilight walked over to me and Pinkie.

"They're not the only ones who paired up." .

My ears perked up in attention, "Really....?" , I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Rarity followed behind Twilight and answered,

"Yes darling, I've found my "prince in a princesses disguise" in Twilight here, and Fluttershy is dating Applejack's bigger brother Big Macintosh." .

I looked back down at Pinkie and thought to myself,

".......No wonder they were happy for me. Pinkie was the only one who hadn't found anyone yet.....well, I'm glad I came into her life.....well, she kinda took the intiative anyway. I can handle this kind of pony, despite her constantly hyperactive personality. However, when I'm with her, she looks more....relaxed...." .

I noticed her hair slowly deflate into straight locks as she burrowed her head in my lap, yawning.

My mind went on.

"Yeah.......definitely one of the most weirdest ponies I've ever seen, more less, met in person...." .

I was gonna let her sleep for an hour or two before getting ready to go to the iceway. I leaned my back against the wall as I let Pinkie collapse onto my stomach as she took hold of my forearm and brought it to her cheek. She fell asleep soon after. I received the warmest feeling in my stomach. Vaguely, I knew what it felt like to be loved by my mother and father.......but this was a different kind of love.

I kissed her on the forehead and quietly continued talking to the other ponies and what not. I have been truly blessed. For over three thousand years, I felt nothing but loneliness and isolation.

But now......now......I feel so warm.....

I wanted to stay with her forever, and never leave her side.
