Karma

The two ponies made their way to the northern edge of Ponyville. Pinkie Pie began to wonder where they were going.

'Huh... wait, are we going to Rainbow Dash's house? Oh boy! I've seen it from the outside, but I have never gone inside. Oh, wait a second, I can't walk on clouds, and since I can't walk on clouds then where are we even going?'

"Hey. Rainbow Dash, where are we going?"

"My house, where else would we be going?" She replied confused by her friend's question.

"Well, it's just if we are, I can't walk on clouds... at least I don't think I can."

"Oh, ummm... Pinkie Pie, I don't think you want to go inside. I just need to grab our supplies before Twilight comes into town."

"Awwww! I thought I'd be able to see the inside of your house for once," Pinkie replied disappointedly.

Softened by her friend's dismay, Dash gave in. "Hey, how about this, I'll let you come over and hang out some time. Only if our plan works. I'll have to clean up first, okay?"

"Alright! I'll make sure our prank follows through just as planned!" Pinkie cheered.

"You better!" Rainbow laughed as they came upon the most exquisite cloud structure in all of Cloudsdale. It was also the only cloud structure close to Ponyville. "Okay, I'll be back soon, don't go anywhere." She vanished into her house, leaving a rainbow trail behind her. Not a minute later she landed back in front of Pinkie Pie right where she left from; but this time carrying her saddle bags over her flanks.

"Sorry I took so long, I needed to feed Tank before we got back into town."

"What do you mean? That didn't even take you a minute!" Pinkie Pie said, flabbergasted. "Nevertheless, did you get the stuff?"

"I grabbed the transparent spray paint and magic dust."

"Okay, so all we need now is..."

"Umm, that's all we needed remember. Oh shoot, what time is it?" She said looking up at the sky as the sun began to go down.

Without even flinching, Pinkie Pie stated "It's 7:24 and Twilight should be arriving at 7:45."

"That's right; we need to get back in town ASAP." She replied before they took off in the direction of the library.

"We're here." The exhausted Pinkie panted as they got there.

"Alright. Come on, let's go to the back and get ready there." With that said, Rainbow walked to the back of the building with Pinkie trudging slowly behind her. As soon as they were out of sight from any onlookers, Rainbow Dash got out the translucent spray paint. "Okay Pinkie, this is going to feel a little weird at first."

After spraying her from head to hoof with the silver coating, her whole body began to disappear and blend in with their surroundings. "Oh my gosh, it's working! This is going to be so awesome! Alright Pinkie Pie, now you spray me."

"Okie dokie loki!" She shouted with delight as her invisible hoof grabbed the can. The spray had the same effect on Rainbow Dash as it did on her. "Whoa, Rainbow Dash, you're invisible!"

"If you haven't noticed, so are you. And did you even pay attention when we were planning this whole thing?"

"Of course I did silly!"

"Sure you did..." Dash said uncertainly, "but anyhow, Twilight should be arriving soon and we got to get into our places. Set up the dust out front. I'll meet you up there. This is going to be so cool!"

The now invisible Pinkie Pie made visible hoof prints leading to the front. Rainbow Dash followed her friend hoping that their shenanigan would go as planned.

After meeting back up with Pinkie Pie, she got into her place behind the door on the inside of the library. She started preparing the dust and bucket with more of the spray. Then she sprayed it all along the rope attached to the now intangible bucket of magic dust. They got it from Zecora a couple of weeks ago. It's suppose to change a pony's nature into a joyful and frivolous spirit for one whole night. But she was forgetting something.

'It was something about a different effect it had on the pony with more time or something like that. Oh whatever, it should be fine.'
