Yet the Tower Heart didn't explode, it imploded, the Overlord could feel the magic sucking him into the swirling void where the heart was, and minions flew past him screaming as they went into the void. Serva was the only thing keeping him along with Gnarl from being sucked into the void. The steel bent slightly as the force got stronger. The Overlord felt a slight tremble in the cold dark stone and a pang of fear went through him. "The Minion burrows are down there," he thought, "which can only mean..." He never finished this sentence, because at that moment a large shape shattered the floor. He saw through the shards of stone that it was indeed one of the minion burrows, the stench told him that it was the Greens, and he could only watch hopelessly as the corpse-smelling hive flew into the vortex and disappeared.
It was followed with the mound of coral that was the blue hive about five feet to his left, and the fireball that was the Red's home twenty inches from Serva's blade. The foundation was crumbling, and Serva was loosing its grip on the stone. Yet the Overlord heard one last rumble and knew that there was one last hive, the largest of them all. The Brown's hive decimated the ground underneath the Master and wrenched him loose form his perch, and hurtled him towards the void. Just as he got pulled in, he charged up magic in his gauntlet and grabbed Gnarl's scaly arm. He started to glow violet with the hurling spell, and with his last vestige of energy flipped the Hive and aimed Gnarl towards the open doorway. He propelled him with the spell and Gnarl flew out of the chamber like a pebble from a trebuchet. "Goodbye my friend." Was the master's last thought as the Hive fell into the wormhole, which then imploded upon itself and winked out. Leaving the room empty as if no one had ever occupied it.
