After the final block fell, trapping Rainbow Dash, everyone screamed out her name. Twilight immediately blanked out and stared at the floor. Rarity began tearing up and said, "I won't believe it! Rainbow Dash can't be dead! You can't get rid of that idiot so easily."

Twilight thought "Rainbow Dash... She... She's... gone... Damn you, Nightmare Moon. God damn you to the fires of hell!"

Fluttershy began crying. Applejack began comforting her until she noticed something wrong with Twilight. She noticed that Twilight's eyes were completely devoid of pupils and that she couldn't move.

Rarity then yelled, "Rainbow Dash! You better use that hard head of yours to come up with an idea to get out! We'll be waiting for you!" She then broke down.

Spike said, "Wait, something's wrong with Twilight, guys."

Nightmare Moon and Cloud Tumble began discussing the next stage, Moon-T 4. Cloud said, "Those 7 don't give up easily, eh?"

"Oh, hello, Cloud Tumble," Nightmare Moon coldly said.

Cloud then said, "Remember the bet we made for the project? We bet on which stage Twilight would die in. You bet Moon-T 5. Isn't that right, my mentor?!"

Nightmare Moon replied, "You bet on Moon-T 4, did you?"

"Of course I did, you jerk! That's the stage where I duel Twilight with Magic: The Gathering!"

"Ah, yes, Moon-T 4. I bet Moon-T 5, where I duel Twilight with Duel Monsters."

"That's what I mean. What kind of mentor bets against their own apprentice?!"

"How pathetic... I opposed your participation from the beginning. Why? Because of the results of your last 'game' with Twilight. Don't you think I know how that ended?"

"Well... It's just... I thought maybe we could bond more if we looked out for each other..."

Then, Nightmare Moon stood up and yelled, "SHUT UP! In the world of politics and business, there is NO room for bonding! Until you figure that out, you will ALWAYS be a loser!"

Cloud replied, "Fine! I'll show you! I'll beat Twilight myself!"

Twilight then 'woke up' and looked at the group. Rarity said, "Is there anything wrong?"

Then, Twilight replied, "Everyone, I have a confession. I think there is another me. You see, ever since Celestia gave me the Alicorn Amulet, I've had moments where I black out. I think I'm changing into something or someone during those moments." She then began to cry. "I was afraid to tell you because I thought you would all leave me."

Pinkie Pie then looked at her and said, in a rare moment of seriousness for the usually bright and cheery girl, "Listen, Twilight, even if there is another you inside of you, we will always be friends." The rest of the group nodded.

Spike then said, 'You can count on us to be backing you and whoever the other you may be at all times." Twilight smiled.

Rarity then said, "Let's go. I see a light at the end of this hallway."

The 6 of them ran to the end and were confronted by the 2nd Arena. In the arena was a box with a table above a field. Cloud Tumble stood at the other end of the arena. He said, "Welcome to my stage Twilight, Moon-T 4! Leave your friends over there and join me in the Duel Box."

Twilight said to the group, "I'm ready. Thanks to you guys, I won't be afraid of the other me anymore." Then, the amulet flashed with a glow.

In an instant, Twilight had transformed into the 'other her.' She turned around and said, "Everyone, I will win." The group looked in amazement at the 'other' Twilight. "Rarity, Applejack, go try to find Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Spike, stay with me."

Rarity and Applejack nodded and ran back into the hallway to find Rainbow Dash. Twilight then started walking to the Duel Box, and into one of her most important duels yet.
