Rainbow Streaks & Emerald Flames.

Ah, the night, so calming. The crickets chirping, the fireflies blinking, and your next door neighbor being arrested for illegal farming of weed! So, we see every other building, with the lights off, except for the Carousel Boutique!

"Is the plan ready?" Asked Rarity

"Why do you need me for the plan Rarity?" Asked Twilight

"I need you to write a letter, saying that you must go to Canterlot for royal business & that Rainbow Dash will be watching him for the week, that give him enough time to fall in love with Rainbow Dash! Oh, I also need you to cast a spell on me, where I wont hold back on saying no to Spike! He's just so nice to help me during his spare time, that it's hard to tell him no!" Explained Rarity.

"Well okay. (Forgive me Spike!)" Twilight thought.

*Poof!*

After the spell was cast, a knock was heard!

"That's him, I'll go hide upstairs!" Twilight said, as she headed up the stairs post haste.

"Why hello there Spikey-wikey, what brings you here to my home?" She lied.

"Rarity, for the past few years I've known you, I've had a secret I was to nervous to tell you. But now that I've grown up a lot, so I think it's time I told you my deepest darkest secret!" Spike said, in fake confidence. He then took a deep breath in.

"(Here goes nothing!)" Rarity thought.

"Rarity, I lo-" He was cut off when She put a hoof to his mouth.

"No Spike, I simply cannot return your feelings." Rarity interrupted.

"W-what do you mean Rarity?"

"Sorry Spike, but please understand that we're there's a huge age gap between us! If I accepted your feelings, then I'd just end up breaking your heart again when I die of old age & you'll still be young by the time. Again, I'm sorry, now have a goodnight Spike!"

"You too." Spike sadly said.

Spike then slouched when walking back home, the depression & disappointment in his eyes were so thick, you could cut it with a knife! Hey, get knife away from me Pinkamena!

"Twilight Darling, you can come down now, he's gone!"

Twilight came down with tears on her face for listening to the words coming out of Rarity's mouth earlier because she has just helped somepony assist in breaking her surrogate little brother's heart!

"I-is the pain over?" Twilight asked.

"Yes darling, now get the letter ready!"

"How are you sure that Spike will be isolated with her the whole day? He does have a social life."

"I had a chat with the weather ponies & they said that it'll be raining for the whole week, that ought to explain things."

"Well okay, besides, I heard that they finally published some books on a dragon's anatomy in Canterlot & I guess they can't ship copies here since it's raining, I'll actually be going there just for that."

"Okay, but don't forget to tell Rainbow Dash to watch Spikey-wikey alright?"

"I wont, bye Rarity."

"Bye Twilight."

Then Twilight flew off to the home of Ponyville's pony version of Sonic the Hedgehog! (Even though I'm a brony, I say Sonic can beat Rainbow Dash in a race! Sonic rainboom? please! SONIC CAN GO INTO LIGHTSPEED!!! You guys have seen "Sonic X" right, It show's Sonic can go WAY PAST FAST!!!)
