The Battle for Pinkie

I looked out across the gorge to see a beautiful sunrise. The mists of the morning, clinging to my mane like a foal to its mother, making it shine all the brighter. I found a suitable spot, and watched the sunrise. As it came up, it turned the mist into a chilled fire. The landscape in front of me shown through a veil of orange and yellow. As the sun hit just the right spot, it caused the droplets to refract the early morning light, sending a rainbow of color in my direction that bounced off my coat, turning the surrounding landscape to every color imaginable. I watched in awe, as I was hypnotized by a beauty that surpassed even a Sonic Rainboom. Speaking of which, there was only one thing that could make this any better...a sense of happiness flooded through me when I heard a voice in the shadows behind me.
"I knew I would find you out- whoa..." Said Rainbow as she looked upon the radiance that was
Celestia's morning. "Maybe I should come out here more often." She said as she took a seat next to me, causing my fur to stand on end in anticipation and pure joy.
I remained silent, thanking all of the powers that be for bringing her to me, at this time and place, to view one of the most romantic and beautiful sights in all of Equestria. I felt something on my shoulder, I looked to see Rainbow resting her head while being completely entranced by the sight before her. In that moment I was in utter bliss, being in even the slightest contact with the mare I loved so much that my heart ached, in combination with the scenery that was beautiful enough to inspire feelings in even the hardest of hearts. I didn't realize that I had put my arm around her until she sighed dreamily. I immediately retracted myself from the embrace, trying to come up with some excuse, when she grabbed my arm, and placed it back around her shoulder.
"Don't, this is the perfect moment...don't ruin it...please..." She said, breaking her trance for just long enough to relay the message.
"I won't." I promised as I brought my head down to kiss her own.
I wanted this moment to last forever, there was nothing that could beat this. No experience possible that could top the high I was feeling in this moment. This perfect moment.
“Hey Rainbow, I think that we have a problem!” A pegasus yelled from one of the clouds above us interrupting my attempt at a tender, heartfelt kiss.
Quickly regaining her composure, Rainbow replied, “What is it Thunderlane! I thought I told you that I’m off duty today!”
“Yeah I know, but this is an emergency!” Thunderlane cried.
“What level of an emergency?” Rainbow asked.
“Omega Red! Now hurry! We don’t have much time!” The pegasus responded before flying away.
“Shit!” Rainbow exclaimed, “I’m sorry for interrupting this, but this is a really big emergency.” She said as she kissed me on the cheek and left me sitting on the edge of the cliff.
That was...strange... to think that she would kiss me...I only just met her a couple days ago... eh, it was probably an illusion. She probably didn’t really kiss me, there was no explanation for it! I thought after realizing what had just happened.
“Either that or I’m still feeling the effects of the alcohol.” I continued out loud.
Wait a minute...
“Hey suit.” I said.
“Yes sir?”
“Why did I get drunk last night? I thought the nanobots were supposed to filter all of the newly introduced alcohol from my system?”
“Sir, you barely have enough nanobots to heal your injuries. You can’t expect to have any extras to work on the unimportant things like purging your system of alcohol you consumed, ON PURPOSE, may I remind you.”
I wonder if I can repurpose those ones left, for just a little while... I thought as images of me and Rainbow in suggestive positions were brought to the front of my mind.
“Oh right, I wonder if Rainbow has noticed the little gift I gave her yet.” I continued out loud, a devilish grin spreading across my face.
“What gift?” Said a voice from behind me.
I turned to see Rarity, if I remember her name right, standing behind me in the forest.
“R-rarity, I um didn’t see you there...how long have you been there?” I asked.
“I got here just in time to see Rainbow leave. Why did you do anything you shouldn’t have?” She asked.
“Nope nothing happened, it's just, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were stalking me.” I lied, trying to get her off the scent.
“W-why, what in the name of Equestria gave you that idea?” She asked, a little nervous at the notion.
Oh great, she really is isn’t she? Well thats a lucky shot in the dark I guess...or the awkward discovery of a stalker in this case. I thought as I mentally facehooved
“I just saw a flash of color over here, when Rainbow Dash flew by me in the same direction. I came to investigate.”
“Oh, yeah that was just the sunlight being refracted off of the morning dew, it in turn reflected off my coat.” I replied dumbly.
“Really!? I’ve never known a coat to do that before!” She exclaimed in astonishment.
“Well my coat isn’t normal, it's the only one in the entire world that has these special qualities.” I said, unaware of the fashion beast that I was unleashing upon myself.
“REALLY!? I must create a unique wardrobe just for you! Don’t worry about your budget, it'll be for free, as long as you are there yourself,” She said, “you being there is enough payment for me.” Continued the now blushing mare, almost inaudibly.
“What did you say? I couldn’t quite hear that last part.” I said, even though I had heard her clearly enough to understand her true motives.
Wow...this is interesting to say the least...I thought Pinkie was weird...this pony is just obsessed...no, thats not the right word, all she has proven is that she has a crush on me, everything else was just by my assumption.
“N-nothing, lets just get to making your new outfits to go with your new residency of Ponyville!” She replied quickly.
“Oh, ok-” I returned as she grabbed my hoof, and hurriedly ran towards the town.
I saw out of the corner of my eye what looked like a figure standing in the shadows in the trees behind me.
Shadowfang? Nah I saw him go home...and he was barely sober enough to stand let alone follow me.

We entered a large purple carousel, that turned out to be Rarity's house and boutique. As we entered I was stunned by the brilliance, and so much purple! There was way too much purple here. As I looked around my false smile faded, it was very very very purple, and really really shiny. It was so shiny that it almost blinded me from the hideousness of the purple, which was admittedly welcome. Rarity noticed me gawking at the interior, and mistook it for my liking it.
“Oh, now I know my home is beautiful, but there is no need to just stand there staring! Come on we need to size you up!” She said.
Shit... I thought as I saw her bring out multiple materials in a variety of colors.
I was very impressed with her ability to multitask so efficiently.
“So...um what are we doing again?” I asked, still kind of caught on the fact the there was flying fabrics all throughout the entrance.
“I am going to make you a plethora of clothing so you can have a new outfit as a new resident of Ponyville! I thought I told you that?” She answered.
“Oh, you probably did, I was just too hungover to remember from my wonderful night out with Rainbow Dash.” The last two words were said way more dreamily than intended.
Whoa...I still have very little control over myself...so much purple...so many fabrics... I let my thoughts wander, still in awe at the unicorns magical prowess.
I didn’t notice she was talking to me until she nudged me into place and made me stay as still as possible. Everything was still kind of blurry from the vast consumption of alcohol, so it seemed her movements were erratic and mysterious, I had no idea what she was going to do next.
“Whoa...you are moving really fast...ARG!” I screamed as I was hit with a wave of pain unlike anything that I had experienced before, my limbs failed, my thoughts slurred worse than my speech, and I saw the familiar sight of the floor approaching my face.
*******************************
However, I wasn’t lucky enough to pass out before I hit the floor. So here I am,on the ground, with a broken nose, writhing in pain, holding my head, waiting for it to subside. Rarity was standing over me, or from what I could tell, she could’ve been under me, based on how the room just wouldn’t stop spinning. She was crying, obviously unsure of what to do, she started screaming for help, which definitely didn’t help the headache. I saw a black figure rush through the door, and I was filled with a sense of dread that nearly took my mind off of the excruciating pain I was in.
“What...wrong...him?” He said, his dark words piercing the veil of my pain.
“I...know...he...then...hurt...HURRY!” Rarity replied, her volume causing even more pain.
“I...my...across...help...worry.” He said, as he picked me up with his surprisingly warm magic aura.
We sped through the town towards the northern end of town.
How the hell did I know that? I thought, as I watched the trees and houses speed by in a daze.
We entered a rather large house at the edge of town, and I noticed that Rarity wasn’t with us. I instantly felt terrified, knowing that we were alone, and that he could do anything he wanted to me. Thats when I finally passed out.
