A soldier goes to the past to fix a terrible future. He finds a quaint town filled with loving ponies with strange tattoos on their flanks. He discovers the reason his future is the way it is, a pony hiding from his past by ensuring the mentally insane never get a future. But with time running out, he will have to team up with his soon-to-be arch enemy in order to stop a greater of two evils.
