I watched as my beloved human started to sway after that things eyes flashed white. I had no idea what it was doing but I could tell it is not good due to the amount of hate coming off of her. I started to charge up a very strong spell, that will--hopefully--render her defenceless or useless.
I saw Rain fall to the ground and that thing to take out a sword that had a magic enchantment on it. I quickly figured out that that sword could cause damage to Rain, she only needed him to sit still; that is why she made him pass out.
While I was talking in my head my spell begun to overload and could explode if I don't send it. I shot the ball of green at her. It hit perfectly on her chest and caused a massive explosion of green flame to erupt while Rain closed his eyes.
I knew I had to help him now, or… he won't make it… ‘Well! I am not going to let that happen!’ I thought with determination and started to charge another spell. Once the smoke cleared I saw her still standing seemingly unfazed but I knew that I had done a bit of damage, due to her emotions telling me so.
I let another spell hit her; it did not much, it was like she was healing from the spell I cast. I walked out of the tree line and started to walk towards her with my Colt M1911A1 right behind me with one thing that is present in my eyes: murder.
“Well, well, well,” She stated in a somewhat dull voice. “Look what we have here,” She continued; it’s almost like she is toying with me. “A pet-” She didn’t get to finish the rest of that sentence since i shot her in the stomach.
She dropped with a small shriek and then started to rise again like nothing has happened to her. She started to look at me and then I saw her eyes flash blue for a second. I tried to move the trigger on the gun and shoot her, but it just doesn't want to move.
I see the gun start to slowly levitate towards my face and then turn around; facing right at me. I couldn’t believe it; she was using some kind of hypnosis magic but at an extreme scale. I looked down the barrel of the gun and I saw the trigger start to squeeze.
There was only one thing I could do now. I quickly started to focus on her emotions and find the right emotions that would make her feel guilt. I scan through the emotions finding a few that had a lot of guilt in them. I took these and brought them forward so she can relive the memories that caused the emotions.
I looked up and saw that she had a look of shock on her face. I guess those memories were enough. I regretted thinking that though, as her face turned blank again and now the only emotions that she is emitting, is anger, and a lot of it.
I focused as hard as I could to bring up more of these memories. Slowly it started to work as her face started showing different emotions. I took this chance and turned the gun towards her and put a small enchantment on the bullet I was about to fire that will burn anything it touches.
BANG
The shot went off and hit perfectly on her chest. I knew this would be i-
I didn’t get to finish that thought as she basically burst into flames. Then it stopped and she was still standing heavily breathing but other then that, she was fine. The time it took to recover she had already charged at me with the sword in her hands.
I had enough time to react and jump out of the way as she hit the spot I was in with her sword. While she was pulling the sword out of the ground I quickly charged her and getting a lucky shot. I hit her right in her hip making her a bit unbalanced.
Thankfully she was huge, around ten feet tall, so she couldn’t move as fast as I could. I bucked her leg as hard as I could and made her fall to the ground. I quickly jumped on her and started to beat her with my hooves while casting different spells on her.
My spells were fruitless but my hits were strong. This all ended as I felt a sharp pain in my left leg; she had managed to grab the sword without me knowing. I fell off her while wincing in pain. I knew if I didn’t do something quick I would die.
I started to heal my leg as fast as I could and started to stand up but she was faster to recover and had me pinned to the ground before I could recover. I closed my eyes in concentration. I was going to cast a spell that should knock her off of me.
I fired the spell right at her face and managed to knock her off but only for a moment, but, that moment was enough because as she jump on me again I stabbed my horn right through her throat and then passed through her spine; severing the nerves in the spine.
I pulled my horn out of her and run up to Rain and started cooing his name, to wake him up. I knew he was ok since he was breathing.
*Rain’s P.O.V.*
I was in a forest while I was out; just sitting there and doing nothing until I hear my name being called out. I instantly got excited and was practically bouncing up and down.
I knew I was still asleep and I could do nothing but wait until I woke up so I decided to just walk around aimlessly. I start by walking up to a tree but it starts to fade out slowly. It was about time for me to wake up now, there was no denying that.
I close my eyes and think about waking up. I started to open my eyes to see Chrissy on me with… my eyes widened. I quickly shot a tendril and stabbed the thing in the head. She was dead, thank you water tendril.
Chrissy looked behind me with wide eyes, “I killed her before, how is she alive?!” Chrissy pulls out a sword out of nowhere and start to chop her up, literally. It was quite brutal, let me tell you. Once she was done the thing that attacked me was in small bite size pieces except her heart.
I had a confused look on my face but then it ended as Chrissy took the heart and took a big fucking bite out of it.
OK! Now she was dead for sure…
Nope! Chrissy is now lighting her on fire while casting some combat spells that vaporize the pieces slowly. She finished and then started to float the ashes. Once again I had a very confused look on my face.
FLASH
The ashes were gone. I opened my mouth to speak but Chrissy saw this and said, “I scattered them in space.”
…
My mouth fell open, completely shocked by what she has just told me. I looked down slowly and shook my head to clear my thoughts. I then got a question that I wanted to ask Chrissy since the end of the first attack.
“Hey, Chrissy? Where is our bag?” I asked; I haven’t seen that bag for a while and was worried if anything was damaged.
“I’ll get it for you, Rain; I’ll be right back.” She stated and walked off towards the direction of the river that we crossed. I sat on the ground and started to think. I have never seen anything like the thing I fought along with Chrissy. It was so strange; I was basically going through the same reaction when I first saw Chrissy, so it really threw me off guard and was able to knock me out.
One thing I knew I had to fix about myself was getting surprised by new species.
I looked back towards the tree line to see the brushes shake. I instantly went into a defencive stance and got ready but relaxed when Chrissy emerged with the back in her magic. I walked up to her and grabbed the bag from her magic and looked inside.
The first thing I saw was something furry… And moving. I picked the black fur and saw the thing move again and then eyes popped up, looking at me with green slitted eyes. I instantly recognized her and put on a smile, though, I was confused on how Kat managed to get in the bag undetected.
Kat hopped out of the bag and right beside Chrissy which made her jump and hiss at Kat. “Chrissy, calm down, it’s just Kat.” Once I had said those words, Chrissy instantly calmed down significantly.
I looked back inside the bag and found that everything was intact. I did a double check though, just in case and actually did find something this time. It was minor but noticeable. I pulled out my SR-25 and saw that the barrel was slightly bent to one side.
I sighed in annoyance and threw the sniper on the ground and then pulled the rest of the ammo for it and threw it away as well. I knew that a slight bend in the gun meant that it won't be able to shoot as accurately as I wanted it to.
I looked back to Chrissy and said, “Chrissy, did you manage to see any sniper on your way to the bag?” Chrissy put a hoof to her chin and thought for a few moment before nodding. I instantly smiled and walked up to Chrissy.
“Why do you ask?” Chrissy said this, curiosity evident in her tone.
“Well my sniper is out of order.” I replied.
“It looks fine to me.”
“There is a slight bend in the barrel of the gun” Chrissy responded by nodding her head and doing a little ‘Uh-huh’.
“Hurry back, I am going to figure out how Kat managed to stay in the bag all the way here.” I nodded and started to head threw the trees. I got there and saw all the carnage I have done in less time than an army could do. It was quite a sight.
I continued to look around for my current objective and my anger just grew more and more over the search. I have never been this angry of humanity. Always scared of the unknown; always shooting before even getting to know me.
I guess this will always be, no matter what; I will never be able to change humanity. They are so bent to destroy everything. Whatever, I have a task for now.
I continued to walk and found something that I would have never expected in all my life. I was staring down, at a M82 Barrett 50 cal. It was in mint condition, like nothing touched it. It was absolutely amazing. It also had more ammo beside it! I picked it out and checked the magazine. I popped the magazine out and inside was still ten bullets that looked like they had full metal jackets on them.
I looked back down and saw a… Note? What was a note doing here? I opened the folded note and started to read it.
Dear Rain,
I decided to give you a small present. Nothing to big, mind you, but enough to let you pass anything. I am actually quite a big fan of your work and I enjoy watching what you have done. It is quite marvaless; sending the authorities in riots. Brilliant!
My present includes the following: five magazines (filled), a small green box with a hundred twenty rounds (all bullets have full metal jackets), and of course, one M82 Barrett 50 cal.
As you can see I am quite a big fan and would love to meet one day, but alas it will happen in a couple month. Maybe will see each other before, but, I am not quite sure as of now. I hope nothing happens to you and your journey to be safe. Hope to talk to you soon.
Your biggest fan,
Discord, The God of Chaos.
Author's Note
