The Queen of my heart.
Chapter 15: Onwords
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI had to re-read the letter multiple times before coming to a conclusion that Discord is intending to use me and Chrissy for his gain. I am not completely certain, but it is the only logical conclusion that I could come up with.
That does not mean I will reject this wonderful gift. In fact, I will certainly be happier with it. For now I will keep going through with my plan. I know that Discord probably knows the plan as well and will do something to hinder it, but, I will cross that bridge when I get there… I hope.
I picked my ‘gift’ of the ground and went to talk with Chrissy. I passed a few bushes and trees, weaving in between them to avoid anything that might jump out. I came to the clearing where Chrissy sat there with Kat and… Talking with her?
Maybe all this fighting is getting me, and I should just lie down and rest… No, I can’t do that, I have many things left before I could get sleep. I shook my head a bit and continued to walk towards the duo.
I came beside them and gave the letter to Chrissy, which she quickly grabbed with magic and begun to read. Her expression was quite calm but also a bit confused--probably because she didn’t understand who will give me stuff. As she continued and read the rest she froze with her mouth slightly a gape.
The cat is still completely oblivious to the situation on hand and and sat there cleaning herself while I and Chrissy are freaking the fuck out in our minds. Chrissy is still frozen and I am trying to act all cool but I am not sure how long I can hold this in.
The way Chrissy has described Discord to me, its very scary. The last invasion he did there were floating houses and the sun and moon will keep changing positions every few minutes. The thought of a god with that much power scares me immensely.
Chrissy did recover faster then me though, and flew up to me and hugged me. I accepted the hug quickly still shocked. The hug lasted for a few minutes, with me shaking and Chrissy calming me down.
She pulled away and noticed that I still had a very shocked look on my face and gave me a big kiss on the lips. She tried pulling back but I wouldn’t let her and kissed back more forcefully while holding her.
I let her go--of course--but after our little tongue wrestling match. After that, I had a stupid grin on my face. I did, after all, love chrissy dearly and would do anything for her, plus, she is fucking HOT!
I guess I have already lost all my humanity… Damn. Well, I don't really need it where I am going, do I? I really hope not.
I guess I will have to keep going with Chrissy and Kat. I really hope nothing bad happens. I raise my hand and point to the direction that we have to keep going to make it to my home. “Alright, I guess we can’t really make sense of Discord for now so we will have to just keep going along with our plans.” I say, picking up the bag and strapping the sniper the side while putting all the ammunition and magazines in the bag.
I looked to Chrissy and saw her nodding slowly, probably thinking about something… We started to head off… again. Kat followed behind us while we just walked and occasionally talked to pass the time.
We would occasionally come across small roads that we would cross and just continue on. We got pretty far if my calculations are correct; we were making very good progress but nightfall is going to come in about an hour or so.
“Hey Chrissy? Keep a look out for anywhere, where we could sleep. Night is coming soon.” Chrissy just nodded.
“Alright Rain, we should just stop here though. We can use this hill to our advantage and set up a barrier between the trees.” I nodded, knowing that the hill would help keep the wind under control. We split up and started to gather materials for the barrier and gather some food for Kat.
I was able to collect a lot of branches of the ground. I also got some from trees by cutting them down with my arm/sword.
It took a few hours but Chrissy and I managed to get a decent sized barrier around and I also made a make-shift bed from some evergreens that were around. I walked over to the side of the bed and made a small pit for the fire and got Chrissy to light it when I was done.
I made my way to the bed and Lied down with Chrissy beside me. She had her head on my chest and I was just staring up at the stars.
“In a few days we would get to my home…” i trailed off.
“Why are we going to your home and not straight to Nevada?” Chrissy asked.
“I want to gather some books about technology and weapons so that when we get to Equestria, your-”
“Our.” Chrissy interrupted and I smiled giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead.
“Our hive will be able to make the technologies and weapons so we are able to completely knock out any competition we have,” I finished with a smile. “We will worry about that later though, and, right now, let’s just sleep.”
I looked down and found out that Chrissy was already asleep. I smiled at the cute display and closed my eyes.

I was the first to wake up. I got up and looked around. There was nothing missing but it seems that Kat wandered off at night, or sometime in the morning. I looked at the suns position and noticed that it was about ten or eleven in the morning.
I decided to just take a walk and see what’s around since I didn’t really explore much yesterday. I encountered a wolf through my mini-journey that did nothing other than stand there and look at me while I just continued on.
The wolf did seem strange now that I think about it; it had yellow eyes with red pupils, but that’s all the differences with a normal wolf--other than standing there and not attacking me...
I didn’t find anything else then that weird wolf--literally. I didn’t find anything, no birds, basically no wild life at all. It was very strange--seeing how we are in a forest that is flourishing quite well but, no animals…
I just shook my head and walked back to camp where I found Chrissy playing with Kat. Maybe Chrissy can bring Kat with us--if she stays with us that long, anyways. “Hey Chrissy!” I said joyously. I felt quite good this morning and my voice showed that quite well.
“Well, at least one of us is happy…” Chrissy finished and looked down. I quickly came up to her and hugged her from behind.
“What’s wrong? Get enough sleep tonight?” I asked, usually Chrissy is just normal or happy most of the time I’ve been with her, but now, she looks quite depressed and tired.
“I’m okay…” Chrissy sighed and continued, “Well… not really, I have never lost my temper like that and just killed someone… so brutally before.”
“Haven’t you killed before. If you have lived as long as you have said you have, I am pretty sure you would have done something like this before.” I said.
“I have, yes… but what I did to that woman… cut he-” I cut her off by a small kiss on the lips.
“That wasn’t a woman, Chrissy; that-” I shook my head, “-That was something completely different. That was a… I actually don't know what that thing was. It was cruel and evil. When she looked into my eyes, and I into hers, I saw darkness, It’s like she hates everything; no love at all.” I finished with a small sigh.
“But what I did… I did to her, what she was trying to do to us. That makes me evil and cruel then…” I smiled a bit. She wasn’t nothing like that and I knew that.
“Would a evil and cruel creature have feeling like the ones you have right now? Would they really care who--or what-- they kill? Would they have saved someone other than themselves?” I asked.
“Well…”
“Of course they wouldn’t! You, on the other hand. You actually care,” I smiled, “And, you saved me… I forgot to tell you how thankful I am. Let me tell you, I was very happy you actually risked your life to save mine and for that I am very thankful… You are the best, Chrissy.” I whispered the last part into her ear and then kissed her cheek gentelly.
I let her go and walked in front of her then sat down to get a better look at Chrissy. She was blushing a bit-- which I found very adorable.
“Thanks…” Chrissy said quietly.
“For what?” I asked.
“For everything… For being here for me.” I smiled and hugged her.
“I am always going to be here, helping you get through everything.” I said lightly. I let her go and stood up while Chrissy did the same thing. Kat was just cleaning herself, ignoring everything. I looked towards the sun and found north-west and begun to head in that direction while Kat and Chrissy followed.
For ten full days we traveled; resting when we can--or talking. We eventually came across a road that had a car parked at the side. The car itself was a very old car and looked in very bad condition as well.
I looked around; checking if anyone was near the car or if the owner was here. When I saw no one I ran up to the car and tried to open it; locked. I told Chrissy to use her telekinesis to open the door from the inside.
With a pop the door unlocked and I let everyone in. I when under the steering wheel and and opened a little latch that housed some electronic circuits. I disconnected the thing where you put your key in and connected it with the ignition system instead.
The car roared to life.
“How did you know that will happen?” Chrissy asked her face scrunched up. I sighed; I wasn’t very proud on where I learned the skill.
“Seven years ago I was basically a criminal. I stole a lot of things, including anything in a simple store or even cars. I was pretty smart at the time and knew how to get away from the law and stay away from it.” I smiled recalling some memories.
“So, that’s when you found out how to do this.” I nodded and begun to drive.
I made some small talk with Chrissy while I drove and Kat just scratched up the back seats. The car itself was red but it looked rust-red now. The interior has some simple cloth cover that covered everything, including the dashboard and the seats.
The ride was quite bumpy and and uneventful. Chrissy went to sleep after in the back seat, to not get spotted by any people. I, one the other hand, had to drive the night and morning non-stop; at least I don’t tired very easily due to my water based nature.
Kat just sat on the dashboard, soaking up the sunlight and relaxing. Even though it is pretty cold outside (5-10 degrees) and in this kind of weather I like to sit home and sleep most of the time, I got through until I reached a hotel.
I signed in and paid the necessary amount I got in the room. I left the door open so Chrissy (Now invisible) and Kat can get in. They got in and Chrissy closed the door behind her with some telekinesis.
“So…” Chrissy paused, thinking. “Where are, since I slept most of the way and don't remember much.” Chrissy finished gesturing with her hoof, in a circular motion.
“Well…” I started while unpacking a few things. “We are currently in a small town, nothing fancy… Like Ponyville.” I concluded with a smile. Chrissy talked in-depth about all the major cities in Equestria so I know quite a lot about the place by now.
“I see…” Chrissy trailed off; looking out the small window that was placed in the room. I walked up beside her and looked out side. The view was breathtaking; it was night time, the quarter moon was out, the stars were shimmering, and everything was silent.
I stared up at the moon and smiled a bit. With a yawn I finished unpacking everything else. “Chrissy?” She turned to look at me with her gorgeous green eyes. “You coming to sleep?” Chrissy shook her head.
“I am not going to sleep but I will lay with you for a while.” She finished and crawled into bed where I snuggle up to her and closed my eyes.
