Chapter 17

Crimsons final stand

“SABER” he shouted, “I have had it with you, I was THIS CLOSE to ruling equestria”. Crimson sighed, “But you aren’t the problem, I’m here for that meddling unicorn Twilight Sparkle”,

“Me?” she asked,

“Yes you” Crimson replied, “you destroyed Nightmare Blade, my last chance at takeover”. Crimson scowled, “But the time for talk is over” he launched a barrage of blue energy projectiles at Twilight which blew up on contact with a barrier created by Saber.

“You alright?” Saber asked,

“yeah, thanks” replied Twilight, they turned to Crimson and fired many a blast, Crimson returned fire and eventually fired a bolt that hit Twilight dead in the chest knocking her down. Crimson took this chance to teleport over to her and blast her again.

“You seriously thought you stood a chance against me?” Crimson laughed,

“Oh we are more than a match for you” Saber shouted as he lunged into Crimson toppling him backwards. Saber looked back at Twilight who was now almost half dead; she wasted too much energy against Nightmare blade.

“Out of my way Saber, it’s her I want” Crimson shouted,

“Never” replied Saber, “she risked her life to save me and now I’ll do the same to protect her” Saber jumped onto Crimson’s back, jabbed him in the neck with his horn and fired a bolt which sent Crimson skidding across the land. Twilight regained consciousness around now and saw Saber fighting Crimson, she herself charged in and used a teleportation spell to gain speed, she then rammed Crimson in the side that flew backwards and crashed through a wall.

“I’m not done” Crimson growled, “I will never be done”. He stomped on the ground sending magic shockwaves across the ground right into Twilight and Saber. Crimson then sent magic blasts flying at them again; Saber back flipped up and countered the blasts before levitating some large chunks of the wall up and hurling them at Crimson. Twilight teleported behind Crimson to sneak up on him but got a kick to the face. She persisted and used her magic to send a wave of earth out and at Crimson who stumbled a bit at the impact.

Twilight had enough of this and made her horn glow sunlight yellow, Saber knew what she was doing and combined his power with hers. Crimson saw this and he was no fool, he knew the celestial array when he saw it so he fired blasts at them while he still had a chance. “Don’t give in to his attacks Twilight” Saber urged, they charged up and released the ultimate spell which nailed Crimson dead on.

“AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!” Crimson screeched as the array tore him to bits, Twilight and Saber didn’t stop, they increased the power. After they stopped the attack they saw that none of Crimson remained, not one shred of stone survived.

“We did it” Saber sighed in relief.
