Follow Dawn Stryker, an ODST that was left behind and forced to seek refuge in an abondoned bomb shelter, but he finds something that makes his completely different. He has sexual encounters, gets high (multiple times), gets drunk (many times) and topples an entire government and forever changes life for everypony in Equestria! Also he is my OC, but I will upload multiple scenarios of him in Equestria, but this is just the first.

Ever since I got left behind I’ve scavenged, killed, and hunted. I want that to change. No one remembers me, thinks of me, or considered me a threat. So I became the shadow of 101st. Never had to fire my weapon until I got left behind, and now I’m beginning to have feelings of resentment of the UNSC and my fellow marines. Maybe I can find some slice of heaven in this hellhole. I thought, and explained to whomever is reading my journal (you) and warn you of the horrors beyond Requiem. Do not venture further, It means certain death. My men and CO’s died for some shelter, forgot the name of it. Maybe I can find salvation in a shelter that was abandoned and forsaken due to unknown causes (at least unknown to me). Well, I guess I should get some sleep. Long travel tomorrow. Glad I found damn Mongoose…

HELMET CAM: LIVE FEED (REC) 9/26/2604

“Yeah! Man, Mongoose’s were the best part of this damn Corps!”, screamed Dawn as he sped through the never ending Urban Jungle and ocean of wasteland. “Hey, since I’m recording, what if I did stunt jumps and you guys felt like having fun with a first-person cam of spinning in circle and going upside-down in half a second? No?!? Too bad!” Dawn had yelled as he hit the gas and hit a makeshift ramp and did a barrel-roll and stuck the landing.
“Hey, hold on a sec. I think I saw movement up ahead. Get ready to see a fight! Come out ya bastards!” The cocky red and lavender ODST shouted and was met with heavy plasma fire and shouts in some alien gibberish. A few of the aliens began rushing Dawn, but were met with “Shotgun Rain”, his classic shotgun chambered in 12. gauge. Two shells did the job on them, but there was an excessive 5 dished out from the total 7.
As the fire stopped from both groups, Dawn vaulted over the cover he had taken and bum rushed the enemy head on.
“Arrrghhh!” Dawn fell, for he had smacked with the butt of a beam rifle. Although the melee attack did not kill or knock the ODST onconcoius, which we had been thankful for. He drew his suppressed classic MP7 with red dot sight and sprayed the cunt down with 9x19 rounds. The purple blood splattered out of the alien and onto Dawn’s armor. Hell, the rounds straight up eviscerated the alien.
“Motherfuckers, stained my armor. Guess I’ll just mozy my way back to my Mongoose and cheese it before some other dick-wads show up to investigate.” With that remark, Dawn kick-started his Mongoose and sped off in a fury.
“Man that was exciting. If you’re wondering why I have my helmet cam on, it’s because I watch these recordings for entertainment that doesn’t end until I die or my helmet shit’s itself. I also have an old-ass fucking iPod 5th generation loaded up with some classics. You know, for a six hundred year old piece of shit, it’s still kickin’. Even the old-ass Iron Maiden still sound good!” He shouted as the iPod had kicked on began “2 Minutes to Midnight”, a truly good metal song from Iron Maiden. Some of the 1980’s best.
*8 hours later…*
“Ugh, man I need to eat… but I’m here! At the extraction point! Or the ratty fucking bomb shelter that was rumored to have good shit in it like guns, armor, AI, ammunition, food, and even clean water. Man this better be good.” The malnourished and maltempered ODST vented his anger, but was interrupted by an unexpected alien ship flying in through the atmosphere.
“Looks like I’m forced to go inside!” Dawn said with some sarcasm but really meant it. He began to hack the lock on the door and it suddenly fell over, on the platform and slid all the way down the stairs. “Magnificent door hinge technology!”He stepped inside and walked all the way down the steps and found an open vault door. “No movement, looks deserted, looks my new home. Just gotta repair this here door then I’m covered 8 ways from Sunday!”
After an extensive amount of scouting and welding, the bomb shelter was fit for the protection it once offered.
“Alright, I’m to find the cafeteria in this bitch. I am starrrvinnnngggg…” He said as he wandered throughout the entire vault talking about food, and eventually the metaphorical mouse found his literal cheese. And the liquor stockpile…
47 and a half hours later…
“Dammmmmmn…. I’m hungover…” The Jimmy-ruffled ODST mumbled and rolled off the medical bays gurney he had been stair surfing with and grabbed the last un-openned bottle of 594 year old Jack Daniels whiskey. He made his way to the Armory/Storage Room.
“Huh, storage room too. That shouldn’t be right. May as well…” With that final comment, he opened the door and stepped inside to find a giant rectangle in front of him with the center glowing bright gold and purple.
“What the fuck? Did I drink to much? Oh well, may as well walk into the armory and grab a few things armor wise.”
After 3 hours of rummaging through boxes of old power armor, he found the suit. Some old ODST Armour with the American flag on it with a skull painted on it, colored exactly like his armor, except shinier.
“Damn nigga, you pimp!” Dawn said looking into the mirror. He then made his way over to the glowing box.
“What are you? Some kind of portal? Well, only one way to find out... ALONS-Y!”
Damn fine discoveries and reference for today but let’s go! Thought the excited Dawn, but his camera filtered out and shutoff.
The only thing Dawn felt was his left side burning and his right freezing and the sudden urge to murder someone… but to bad of a feeling to kill. He also felt stripped of his soul…

"Damn, where am I? I sure as hell don't remember being in goddamn forest. What is this place?" Dawn asked quikly and was met with the gaze of a dozen bright yellow eyes in front of him. "Aw, fuck! Well, I know you things are having for breakfast. Some Shotgun Rain mudda fuckas!" Dawn whipped up his 12 gauge and pumped every round into the crowd of eyes, only to be met with splinters.
"Gaw! Fuck! One got in my finger! Well, that solved one problem. Now I need the facts. Where the fuck am I, how the fuck I got here, and how the fuck do I leave? Hey I see lights from that tree over there! I shall investigate!" Dawn was very distracted and began moving to the cabin, only to be met with trap and long fall.

* * *
Dawn had woken awe struck and scared shitless at the sight of structures underground and the green lights with insect like things flying around.
"What the fuck?!?!" Dawn screaming, hoping someone would help him comprehend where he was and what was happening.
"Who's there?!? A raspy voice screeched at him from above.
"I ain't telling you nothing until I get answers!"
"What's the problem here?" Another insect thing intergected
"I say take him to the queen, she'll know what to do."
"Queen? What Qu-" One of the insect things knocked him out and the began dragging him to some "queen".

* * *
"Uhhghh, where a-"
"You are in the changeling hive under Ponyville." The much larger "changeling" said to him. Although it's voice sounded much smoother and less raspy, it was british sounding, feminine and fustrated.
"What in the fu... what's a changeling and where did you say I was? And where are my guns?" Dawn looked very angry, very tired, and hungover as fuck, but the "Leader changeling" was unable to see his expression due to his very handy dandy helmet.
"A changeling is one of the many creatures here in Equestria, but we are very different from ponies because we change form to look like and pony. We also have atributes from pegasi and unicorns, but we are not alicorns. Also we have an exoskeleton instead of a coat and we have "cheese legs", but you are not a native creature Equestria. I frankly do not know what you are. And you are in a Changeling Hive under Ponyville in the "magical land of Equestria", and we are the sworn enemy of pony kind due to us trying to seige Canterlot, but we failed. And your guns will be given back to you if you agree to help us." What ever this place is, the scarlet and lavender ODST wasn't havin' any of it's shenanigans. But then he considered the consequences of him trying to attack an entire civilization on his own, with his fists. He had no choice other than to straight up leave and forget his guns or agree to help this somewhat odd terrorist group get it's shit together. He really missed Shotgun Rain, so he nodded in resentment for his drunken stupidity back in the bomb shelter.
"Okay, I'll help you. What's the task that I'm up to?"
"We need you to blend into pony society in Ponyville. Hell, make a few friends, throw some parties, get laid, I don't care. Just make yourself seem like a nice guy and get the Elements of Harmony to lower they're guard long enough for us to mobilize an attack. Simple enough? By the way, call me Chrysalis." Chrysalis said as she walked away fom you and spoke to the two guards and left.
"Alright give me my guns back, and remove the glue from my hands, please." Dawn said relieved and hastily to the guards and as that "glue" had been removed, Dawn Stryker picked up his non-standardized equipment and left the Hive.

The ODST left the hive to only find his forest of splinters and shrapnel caused by Shotgun Rain. He slung his 12 gauge over his back and made his way out of the forest and moved onto a cobblestone road leading in two directions: the right leading to a cottage that was light faintly in the second story window, and the left leading to an intersection that was going to a certain town that his objectives were in.
"Decisions, decisions. Left to some other crazy shit or right to start some serious shenanigans. I think right sounds like alot more fun to me. Lets go that way." The ODST made his way to the intersection, and stopped to see a signal that looked like a waiting horse."Hell, may as well start this career of right by following the rules."
And so the ODST waited, hoping the signal would change quicker. It was about 10 minutes before the ODST got restless and began swearing under his breath.
"Fuck it, you know what, I'm gonna cross the street anyway." As soon as he did so, a horse or pony since it was much to small to be a horse, wearing a police hat and police uniform galloped over to him.
"Freeze! You're under arrest for J-walking!"
"Aw what, come on! There's no traffic out here at all!"
"Sorry, just doing my job." With that note, the police officer pony slapped the cuffs on his hands and escorted him to the nearby police station.
"Can I pay the bail at least?" Dawn tried to convince the officer, but he wasn't having any of Dawn's shenanigans.
"Sorry, but since you don't look like anything I've ever seen or heard except from that crazy pony Lyra, you're in here until morning."
"So is this "Lyra" coming to pick me up, or what?"
"We'll give her a call tomorrow morning, but she may say no."
"You mean "neigh", right?" Dawn burst into laughter and started nudging the others in his cell, who started laughing as well.
"Very funny, now get some rest you shitheads. Long day of paperwork and phone calls."

THE NEXT DAY...

"Alright, you with the funny looking armor, get over here and fill this out," the cop said.
"Okay, what is it?" Dawn asked.
"Release forms under the order of Mayor Mare. You sir just got lucky."
"Okay, I'll assume that means I'm free to go?"
"Not just yet. You will be escorted to downtown and will speak the Mayor about your situation."
"Alright," Dawn signed as quickly as he could,"can I go now?"
"Sure."
MEANWHILE AT THE MAYOR'S OFFICE...
"Alright Ma'am, he's all yours."
"Thank you officer," she said as the cop left the room, "so you're the 'human' if I've heard correctly?" She asked him frowning at him through his helmet.
"Yes ma'am, but I have to ask, why aren't I being sent to someone of higher political power rather than just a mayor?"
"Well, the princesses are of on other important business and the Element's are off on another one of there 'adventures'
and can't deal with you until they're back, so I was seen as the main leader of investigating your presence here."
"Okay, well, I'll just start explaining from the beginning. First I was I was abandoned by my squad, leaving me stranded with the horrors of survival in a wasteland with the task of making my way to a ratty old bomb shelter they used as an 'Alamo', or final stand, and that fell, so they left. When I got there, an enemy ship popped into the atmosphere and I rushed into the shelter and fixed the vault to working conditions. Then I scouted it out and looked for food and water, but I found all of those along with liquor storage, so I decided, 'LET'S GET FUCKING HAMMERED!', and ended up passing out on a gurney and waking with the worst hangover known to the universe and found a portal. Acknowledged it's existence, then moved to an armory, got this fine suit of armor, and hopped on into the portal. Questions so far?"
"Three. One, you are military personnel, two, what rank are you, and three, did you use a firearm in the forest in the middle of the night?" The brown mare looked at the ODST with a faint look of worry. But before Dawn could answer her questions, a flash of gold blinded him.

MEANWHILE IN CANTERLOT CASTLE...
"So, Dawn Stryker. Tell me why and how you ended up in Equestria." The much taller white pony horse thing with wings and a horn had asked him from atop the thrown in front of him.
"Well, if you let me finish telling that mayor back there, you would probably know. But I'll explain myself AGAIN, due to me being a guest and all."
After explaining the recent events, the tall equine creature nodded, and took in all of the information. But he did not tell her about the meeting with Chrysalis.
"Well, you're lucky you got away from the changelings. And to be honest, I like the idea of 'Shotguns' if the can take out afew timberwolves for good with a few rounds, as opposed to our pistols chambered in the equivalent of your 9mm rounds.
But unfortunately, I am going to ask you to lay down your weapons and allow us to study them."
"No need. I can take them all apart with my eyes closed, except for the flash, stun, and frag grenades. If you allow me to write reports on them along with schematics, can I keep them with me since there are things in your world that can easily kill an unarmed man? Also, I didn't catch your name."
"I'm Princess Celestia, and you may as long as you keep you're weapons larger than 9x19 caliber and semi-automatic fire."
"Alright, thanks, but can I speak with a pony willing to house a homeless creature in the town of Ponyville, by any chance?"
"I will see what I can do. Until further notice you will be on your own. I'll teleport you back to Ponyville in front of the local tavern so you may make some friends."
"Thank you for your understanding. Actually, can you not ask if I can have a roommate? I would like for this to be interesting."
"Suit yourself."
As Dawn teleported, it occured to him that he has a job to do for his queen.

Dawn teleported in from a golden flash, and observed his surroundings. He saw that there was a bar, a few "townhouses", and all the ponyfolk giving him odd gazes. Some even dissing him on his armour and the fact he had a firearm. He just ignored them, but then he saw a club further down the block. Maybe I should go to the club instead...He thought to him self and dismissed the thought and walked into the bar.
The idea of getting shitfaced drunk sounded like fun, but he had a task at hand. With that thought, he heard the most beautiful melody and triangulated the elegant sound back to it's source... a grey pony with a sleek black mane playing a cello. He had the idea of asking her, but he decided to wait patiently and took a seat to listen.

Hours pasted, he was still waiting, and she still played her cello. Eventually she stopped and walked of stage. Dawn stood up to follow her.
"Hey, um, can I ask you something?" Dawn asked as he took of his helmet and revealed his brown hair that had barely grown since basic, but it still looked impressive.
"Yes?" The grey mare turned and looked at Dawn with her violet eyes.
"I feel really bad by asking this, but can you shelter an endangered species that has absolutely no idea of where he is?" Dawn asked halfheartedly as he blushed awkwardly. He hasn't had a casual conversation with anyone in five to six years.
"Um, I guess, but I'm gonna have to ask my roommate. My name is Octavia. Yours?"
"Dawn. If you need me, just look for the really tall biped wearing red armour. By the way, I love your music. It's just so relaxing."
"Well, if you like my music the same way I do, you won't apreciate the music my roommate plays. But she's out almost all night, so highly doubt you'll have to deal with it." With that last remark she began to trot away with a swagger that was shared by many mares this time of year, but I'll explain that when the time arises.
"Alright well, I'll follow you."
"Are you sure? I need to go pick Vinyl up from that club down the street. You may need to put your helmet back on." Octavia said with a small chuckle.
"Okay, but is this a-" Dawn was cut off with a loud drop and quick beat that he was strangely fond of.
