Chapters Hydia was a wicked unicorn. The mare would stop at nothing to make everypony sad and depressed. Hydia had a yellow coat, black eyes and wore a purple torn dress.
“Blech!” Hydia stared into her caldron, watching all the ponies from Ponyville decorating for the Summer Sun Celebration “Look at all the cutesy wootsy wittle ponies prancing around all gleefully!”
Hydia smashed her hoof into the caldron, causing it to splash and the image to disappear.
A wicked grin appeared on her wrinkly, ugly face “We can’t have that, can we? REEKA! DRAGGLE!”
Reeka and Draggle were Hydia’s unicorn children;
Reeka was a small, was chubby orange wearing a raggy red dress, and she also had green eyes and a black mane tied into pigtails and was wearing a pan on her head.
Draggle was a tall and thin wearing what looked like denim over-alls, she had green eyes and her mane was bright orange and very ragged, like it had been back-combed, and a purple and green bow tied in her hair.
The two sisters rushed down the many stairs of the Mountain of Doom (As it was known by the locals ‘Mountain of Joy’) House, bumping into one another various times.
“What’s wrong Hydia?” Draggle asked. (For those of you who’ve never seen the G1 film, Hydia hates being called ‘Mom’ or ‘Mother’.)
Hydia smiled “I want you to ruin the Summer Sun Celebration Party.”
“Why?” Reeka asked “I mean, they put a lot of effort into it.”
“Yeah, and if we do Princess Celestia might get mad at us and send us to the moon or something like that…” Draggle added.
Hydia sighed “Why can’t you be evil like I taught you!” Her face suddenly became dark, “And who are you more afraid of the silly pony princess or ME?!”
“YOU! YOU! Defiantly you Hydia!” Draggle responded, both sisters backing away quickly.
“Wait, aren’t we ponies to?” Reeka asked.
Hydia was at her boiling point, “JUST GET OUT THERE AND DESTROY THE PARTY!” She screamed, throwing the girls out the door and tumbling down the mountain.
Once at the bottom, Reeka turned to Draggle, “We really need to get our own place…”
…Back at Twilight’s Library…
Twilight was smiling a drinking some punch with Pinkie Pie.
“How does it taste?” The pink party pony asked gleefully
Twilight took a sip of the blue liquid, “Like a candy store exploded in my mouth.” she said with a smile on her face “Though, it kinda has a weird aftertaste… “
“Oh, that’s from Berry Punch’s secret ingredient!” Pinkie smiled (BERRY PUNCH?! OH NO, KIDS TURN BACK NOW!) as she pulled a bottle from her hair, “Vodka!”
“Oh, that explains why Rainbow Dash is so… Tipsy…” Twi turned to her blue Pegasus friend, who had her hoof around Apple Jack’s neck.
“Y-Ya know… AJ… Hey AJ! Ya know what we should do… We should go to Cloudsdale together sometime and… you bring Apple Bloom and I’ll *hic* bring Scootaloo” After that it just turned into slurring nonsense.
“Erm, Sugarcube?” Apple Jack had the most weirded out expression ever “Only Pegasi can walk on clouds...”
Rainbow Dash looked at AJ, confused for a moment, before going on her knees and waving her arms dramatically, “DARN YOU PHYSICS!!”
“Yeah, were going to need headache pills in the morning…” Twilight stated, looking remorsefully at her friend.
“Wait, can’t you just use your magic to get rid of it?” Pinkie inquired.
“I don’t know” Twilight responded. “I’ll have a look.”
“Okay!” Pinkie smiled, as soon as Twilight was out of her view, she turned towards you, blue eyes staring into you soul “Leave a comment or fav if you’re enjoying the story so far-“
Hey Pinkie! Quit doing my job for me!
“Why?” She asked.
“Erm… Pinkie?” Fluttershy asked timidly “Who are you talking to?”
“Me? Oh no pony!”
..At the bottom of the Mountain of Doom..
“So… what are we gonna do?” Reeka asked, shovelling… gross, bug-like things into her mouth.
“I dunno” Draggle responded “But it’s gotta be destructive.”
“And annoying.” Reeka continued shoving her ‘food’ down her throat, only half paying attention as she was looking for more bugs.
“And make everypony upset…” Suddenly, Draggle perked up, “I got it! We’ll cut the head off the Princess Ice Statue!”
“Simpsons did it.”
“Okay… Burn down the Library!”
“Doesn’t that Princess Twilight live there?”
“Okay.. Steal their organs?”
“Invader Zim.”
“Play Justin Beaver on Vinyl Scratch’s turntable?”
“WOAH! We wanna annoy them not make them bleed from the ear!” Reeka turned to her sister, shocked that she would suggest… such awful punishment. “Let’s just make em wet.”
“Okay.” And the sisters trotted off to find water.
..Back to the characters you actually care about..
Twilight trotted out from… wherever she went, carrying a book in her magic.
“I think this is the one we need…” She moved the book so it was in Pinkie Pie’s face.
“‘Magical Mystery Cures’” Pinkie paused “Sounds right.”
The Alicorn Princess nodded “Hey… where did Princess Celestia and Discord go?”
“OH! She had to prepare the sun for setting in about 4 hours and Luna is working out constellations and stuff like that. Discord went to Fluttershy’s house to see the animals.” Pinkie smiled, just like she always did. Well, the mare was the Element of Laughter after all. “Hey! Lets go make some Cupcakes for the festival, I mean Sweet Snacks and Nyan Jam are helping already but we could still use some extra hooves!”
“Oh, no thanks Pinkie, I’m not much of a decorator…” Twilight was sad that she couldn’t help her friend, but she had a TON of stuff to work on. “I’m also kinda busy.”
“Okie dokie lokie!” Pinkie grinned, bouncing out the door.
“Erm Twilight?” A southern voice called. “Kinda need yer help here…”
Twilight turned towards Apple Jack, seeing Rainbow Dash lying on the floor mumbling nonsense.
“Girl aint got no stomach for vodka…” AJ mumbled as Twi nodded her head.
“No Rainbow, this might sting…” Twilight placed her horn near RD’s head, her horn began to glow a raspberry colour and absorb the rainbow haired pony’s head as she began to screaming in pain. “A lot.”
After about 30 seconds, RD had seemed to come around, grabbing her head “What happened?”
“The punch was spiked and you got drunk.”
“Makes sense… hey I’m gonna go for a walk… clear my head.” Rainbow began to fly out.
“Okay. Bye Rainbow.” Twilight smiled.
“Yeah… See ya” Rainbow had left the library.
After about 30 minutes of flying, Rainbow had spotted two ponies she knew were troublemakers. Reeka and Draggle. Wanting to know what the duo were doing, she flew a little lower, hiding behind the statue. She was as close as possible without blowing her cover.
“So how we gonna do this?” Draggle asked.
“Simple; we use the water to make everypony wet.” Reeka responded.
“Oh, OKAY!” Draggle kneeled before the water and began splashing it on Reeka.
“No! Not like that!” Reeka exclaimed “We’re unicorns. Use magic.”
“But I’ve never cast a spell before…”
“Well, now’s a good time to start!” Reeka then levitated one of Hydia’s spellbooks and slamed it into Draggle’s chest.
Draggle took the book, and began flicking through pages of the dusty old book.
“This one might work!” Draggle smiled “Kensnic mismic lemonistic!”
…
“Nothing happened…” Reeka stated, shoving a worm into her mouth. “Wait…” Reeka stared at the book for a moment “Its upside down!”
“Oh…” Draggle flipped the book so it was the right side up
‘So they wanna ruin the Summer Sun Celebration hu?’ the multi coloured pony thought ‘NOT ON RAINBOW DASH’S WATCH!’
“CITSINOMEL CIMSIM CINSNEK!” Draggle chanted, and the water was heading straight for Ponyville.
Rainbow Dash darted out and began to spin the water in a tornado formation, and sent it straight for the unicorn sisters, causing them to be washed away.
The water stopped at Ponyville Park, where the event was being held, there wasn’t much damage (minus to the Pie Eating Contest which covering the unicorns) upon this happening various ponies gathered around the mares.
“Aren’t they the sisters from the Mountain of Joy?”
“Have they come to celebrate with us?”
“Wow, their outfits are a fashion DISASTER!”
“Why do they stink?”
“There cute!”
“CUTE?” Both girls exclaimed.
“We’re not cute.” Reeka put on a pouty face, making her look adorable.
“Aww!” Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom exclaimed. Scotaloo just looked weirded out.
After that Reeka had began to walk off.
“Where are you going?!” Draggle asked.
“Home.”
“But we can’t until its dark and gloomy! Hydia-“ Reeka interrupted her by slamming a pie into her face.
“We’ll say we made it messy.”
Hydia's Guide to Parenting
Reeka and Draggle arrived back at the rocky castle they call home. Just as they were about to knock at the door, the rotten oak door opened from the inside and the duo were dragged inside.
“One evil deed that’s all I asked!” Hydia’s face went from inraged to upset, “Why are you two such disapointments?”
“…”
“…”
“Ive given you everything a mare could want!” Hydia began to trot closer the the girls, but they backed away quickly, “Shabby clothes” she tore apart the old, rotten wardrobe where similar outfits to what they were wearing was stored, she threw the outfits across the room, “A place to live and all the rotten, disgusting things you could eat!” the yellow mare tore open a cupboard, causing all kinds of gross things to come crashing down on Reeka and Draggle, “And what do I get back? NOTHING!”
Reeka and Draggle hid in a caldron over a non-lit fire, “Dark Fang’s twins turned Prince Blueblood into a frog and ruined the Grand Galloping Gala. And what have you two done? Zip!” Hydia kicked the caldron “A big fat ZERO!”
“W-We’re sorry Hydia,” Draggle apologised, both girls shaking in fear, “M-Maybe if we try again…”
“You two have humiliated me enough!” Hydia walked over to a rusted metal bookstand with a big, fat book on it, she quickly wiped off the bugs and insects, “We have to do something darker, more dangerous, more… Evil.”
The girls looked at one another “What?” Reeka asked.
“Let me look…” Hydia flicked through the book until something caught her attention, “a HA! Ive got it! It’s time to get tough! Its time to show those little ponies we mean business!”
“You don’t mean…” Reeka and Draggle looked at Hydia with wide eyes.
“YES! Its time for… THE SMOOZE!”
“The Smooze?!”
“YES! The same stuff they used to get rid of nasty gem-loving morons!”
“The Diamond Dogs?” Draggle stated.
“Yes, the Diamond Dogs! And the silly little ponies will go the same way!”
… In the Everfree Forest…
Rarity, the white fashonista unicorn, was walking through the thick scary Everfree forest with Spike a purple and green baby dragon that lives with Twilight and is her ‘assistant’ (he has no choice but the mare is sorta his mama). Spike was shaking like a leaf yet Rarity remained calm and normal.
“Spike, Darling, why are you shaking?” She asked.
“O-Oh… n-no reason…” Spike responded.
“Okay. But if you don’t mind picking up the pace. It’s just I need to get the measurements quickly so I can finish her dress before the Summer Sun Celebration begins.” Rarity opened the white, blue and purple bag from around her flank, pulling out a tape measure and holding it with her light blue magic.
“Its kinda big.” Spike noted, “Who’s the customer?”
“Oh, a fluffy pony. Snuggles, she’s getting married.”
“Oh good for- RARITY!” Spike yelled as Rarity fell down into Ghastly Gorge, and quickly came tumbling after her. Luckily, water broke their fall. Wow, they could’ve died!
“Ow…” Spike mumbled, being crushed by Rarity, not that she’s heavy or anything.
… Back with the Witch Unicorns..
“Now, in order to make Smooze I need some things.” Hydia gave a A5 piece of paper to the girls, “Be dears and get them for me.”
The duo quickly ran through the list, it didn’t like getting the things would be too much trouble;
Mold, Slime, Spiderwebs, Dirt, Dead Grass, a crushed frog and-
“A SCALE FROM THE TAIL OF DISCORD?!” Both young mares exclaimed.
“Yes, yes, for a kick of chaos and destruction.”
“But how are we supposed to get it?” Reeka asked.
“That’s your problem!” Hydia yelled, kicking both unicorns out the door and tumbuling down to the bottom of the mountain.
Hydia sighed happily, “Kids…”
… Spike and Rarity …
Both the unicorn and the baby dragon were attempting to climb up the steep walls, yet they failed.
Rarity was about to attempt it again, taking off her bag.
“Here, I’ll give you a shove.” Spike offered and began to push her.
“No thank you I can do it myself” Spike stopped and Rarity lost what little ground she gained.
“Okay.” Spike looked at her, “I was just trying to help.”
…and were cutting back to Reeka and Draggle…
The unicorn sisters Reeka and Draggle had collected all the items on the list, minus one.
They were hiding behind a tree, Discord a short distance in front of them. “How are we gonna do this?” Draggle asked.
“Simple.” Reeka stated, “We ask him for it.”
“What? Are you-“ Reeka had already tapped the… goat, pony, and all kinds of animals thing. Draggle couldn’t hear them but sure enough, Discord painlessly tore six scales off his tail and handed them to Reeka who put them in a jar and trotted back “How did you…?”
“Never misjudge the power of asking nicely.”
“But we’re evil.”
“Shut up! This story needs some good morals!”
…Back with Spike and Rarity…
Spike was attempting to push Rarity up the rocky wall, but so close to the top it seemed Rarity was jammed.
“Its no use Spike.” Rarity stated, “I’m too heavy.”
“It’s all right. I’m a dragon and dragons are strong!”
“But you’re a baby dragon, Spike.”
“Still a dragon.”
… Ponyville…
“Twilight! Twilight!” A mare’s voice yelped, nearing closer to the Alicorn Princess.
Twilight turned around to face Raindrops, a Pegasus pony with a jasmine coat, Tiffany blue mane and tail, medium turquoise eyes, and a cutiemark of three raindrops, she looked tired, “Raindrops? What’s wrong?”
Raindrops panted “Rarity…”
“Whats wrong with Rarity?!” Twilight exclaimed loudly, startling Raindrops.
“No-pony has seen her in ages! Spike either!”
“Do you have any idea where they are?”
“Nope, but Rainbow Dash is gathering a search party. Let’s go!” Raindrops took off quickly.
Twilight strapped her bag on and flew quickly behind her.
Twilight and Raindrops soon arrived near a big tree where the other Elements of Harmony, Fluttershy, Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie along with a brown stallion with a dark brown mane who liked to be called ‘Doctor’… he always got her name wrong for some reason, and a few mares she recognized.
“Sundown Sparkle!” He exclaimed, “Or was your name Midnight Twinkle…”
“Its Twilight Sparkle, Doctor.” She smiled.
“Whatever, we’re looking for Miss Rarity, are you helping?”
“I am one of her best friends…”
“Hey!” Derpy flew in and landed on the tree, but fell off seconds later, “Can I go with you? I never get to go ANYWHERE!” She asked, upside down.
“Aw no! Derpy’s nothing but bad luck!” Said Amberlocks, a pink earth pony with an orange mane and a cutiemark of blonde hair tied with blue ribbons, she was a salon worker, friend to Rarity and an utter snob.
“Everypony deserves a chance, Amber-san.” Kimono, a pinkish purple unicorn with a purple mane and green eyes, her cutiemark was two yellow Japanese lanterns with floral design, stated calmly.
“Kimono is right, Amberlocks.” Twilight stated.
“So I can come?” Derpy smile widened.
“Of course you can.” Twilight held a giggle, Derpy was always excited over the littlest of things.
“YAAY!” Derpy shot up grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
“Where would Rarity go?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Apparently, she was planning on getting measurements from a Fluffy Pony today.” Wind Whistler, a light blue Pegasus with a pink mane and eyes stated.
“Then off to Fluffy Land!” Rainbow Dash yelled.
After about 10 minutes of walking and flying, the group were near Ghastly Gorge, hearing a loud CRASH sound.
“Did anyone else hear that?!” Rainbow Dash spun around
“Oh no!” Raindrops exclaimed, “Something must be wrong!”
Twilight turned to her, “Something doesn't have to be wrong Raindrops, try thinking positive for a change.”
At the bottom of the Gorge, Spike was lying on top of Rarity, both covered in dirt.
Spike looked up when something caught his eye, “Rarity, LOOK!”
“Isn’t that… Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash?” Rarity stated “RAINBOW! PINKIE!”
“APPLEJACK! TWILIGHT!” Spike yelled, “Rarity, I don’t think they can hear us over the water.”
“Okay, I definatly heard something this time!” Rainbow yelled.
“I didn't.” Applejack, the orange earth pony with green eyes, a blonde mane and 3 apples for her cutiemark, stated while straitening her cowgirl hat.
“Maybe its going to rain and we’ll all get wet and catch Pneumonia!” Raindrops turned her head to the sky.
Amberlocks shook her head, “I knew we shouldn't have brought you along.”
“Oh no, I like the rain!” Raindrops lifted herself a meter off the ground before going back down.
Rainbow Dash just shook her head, facehoofing, “Let’s focus on finding Spike and Rarity.”
The group picked up their pace, trotting towards Fluffy Land.
“They’re leaving.” Spike stated.
Rarity looked to the floor, “Nopony is ever going to find us.”
..Fluffy Land…
Now that it was summer, all the fluffy ponies had left their burrows and were dancing and eating and preparing to give their young to good ponies (many wild fluffy ponies decide to give their young to regualar ponies as they make good pets.)
The queen of the fluffy ponies, Hugs, a gigantic purple fluff ball, was sat on a blanket eating with her mate, as her young (and the next generation of fluffy ponies,) had arrived. They weren’t moving yet but they would soon enough.
All the while her subjects and children were baking treats and preparing fluff decorations for the Summer Sun Celebration.
…Mountain of Doom…
Hydia stood at the top of the mountain, where a huge crater sat. Once her daughters bring her the potion all she had to do was pour the mixture in and add some essence of Life and the mountain would release the smooze similarly to a volcano. Hydia’s snaggley grin widened when Reeka and Draggle came into view. “Do you have it?”
“Yep.” Draggle responded, handing her the bucket.
“Excellent! EXCELLENT!” She squealed, pouring the gray liquid into the hole.
“I don’t think it’s working.” Stated Reeka.
“That’s because we haven’t inserted the most important ingredient…. ESSENCE OF LIFE!” Hydia pulled out a bottle, it contained odd liquid that resembled Princess Celestia’s mane. Hydia carefully added just a single drop, “Stand back girls”
Suddenly, the gray liquid began to grow in size, becoming purple also. After a few seconds it had gained many eyes and was releasing low, ghostly moans.
Hydia, Reeka and Draggle all stepped inside their home as the Smooze began to ooze down the mountain at a fast pace.
“Let’s see those little ponies out-run my SMOOZE!”
…Fluffy Land…
Many Fluffy Ponies squealed with excitement as the group arrived, Twilight decided to go to Hugs first.
“Hello, Prwincess Sparkle!” She smiled, much like a filly or Derpy would.
“Hello Hugs.” Twilight bowed slightly, causing Hugs to blush.
“Dun’t bow for me, Prwincess.” She stated, “What brwings woo to Fluffy Land?”
“Rarity apparently had some work to do here, we were wondering if she showed up?”
“TWILIGHT! HUGS! BEHIND YOU!” Rainbow yelled, sounding shocked.
Ponies had gone into panic mode, desperately trying to outrun the stuff.
Twilight watched in horror as a purple, sludgy wave came crashing over the hills, yelling for her friends to run faster.
Whilst running, Fluttershy had turned back and spotted two fluffy foals on the ground, and leapt to grab them.
“Hop on!” She yelled, and kneeled down so they could reach, the tiny fluff balls climbed on her back as she attempted to run back to safety, however was hit right on with purple sludge.
“Oh Fluttershy!” Raindrops exclaimed, “It’s all my fault! I’m sorry!”
Fluttershy was now covered mane to tail in purple, with only a few patches of pink and yellow left “Yeah!” She yelled rudely, “It’s all YOUR fault! Your just bad luck!”
“Fluttershy!” Rainbow exclaimed, jaw on the floor.
“It’s not your fault Raindrops. Fluttershy is just like that from the Smooze.” Twilight gently rested her wing on Raindrop’s shoulder.
“Smooze?” Everypony asked.
“Yes. And I know the witches sent it, we have to get back to Ponyville and warn the others!”
“But what about Spike and Rarity?” Derpy asked.
“You, Raindrops and Doctor Whooves can look for them,” Twilight smiled at the trio, “We’re trusting you on this.”
“Forget it they’re never going to find them!” Fluttershy began to walk off in a mood.
A red fluffy foal began tugging at Derpy’s hoof.
“You wanna come with us, little fella?” The Doctor asked, and it nodded its head.
Derpy knelt down and let it climb onto her back and the gender-neutral foal squealed in approval.
“We won’t let you down Princess Twilight, unless we fail.” Raindrops stated. “Badly.”
It was June 21st, or as many ponies knew it, the Summer Sun Celebration, which was being held in Ponyville once more for the sake of this fanfiction.
Twilight was a purple alicorn with a moderate sapphire blue with moderate violet and brilliant rose streaks mane and violet eyes. Her cutie mark (that tattoo on her butt) was a pink star with little white stars around it, this symbolised her special talent and element of harmony; Magic.
Twilight smiled walking through Ponyville, this was where the purple alicorn made her first few friends and some of her most treasured memories.
However the young princesses thought track was stopped by her bumping in somepony, she looked towards whoever it was she bumped into to apologise “Oh my gosh, I’m so-“
“It’s okay!” A childish voice responded, the pony she had bumped into was a gray Pegasus mare with a blonde mane and crossed golden eyes. “It was mah fault anyways!”
“I know you!” Twilight exclaimed “You’re… Derpy right?”
“Yeeeah!” She smiled brightly. “Oh… I just remembered! Da Princess wanted to see you right noow!”
“Okay, I will, nice seeing you Derpy!” Twilight began to fly away, she’d gotten the hang of it recently.
She turned back and waved goodbye and the mare responded by waving her hoof very quickly, then left, presumably to do whatever it is her and that odd friend of hers do.
Twilight soon arrived at her Library home, where her teacher, Princess Celestia, and sister, Princess Luna were.
Twilight walked in to be greeted by the lights off. She was confused by this, swearing the princesses were there when she left.
“SURPRISE!” the light came on, revealing balloons, streamers, and other party related items. In the centre was her Ponyville friends, Spike, the Princesses, and Discord.
“W-Wha…” Twilight stuttered.
“Well, we finished decorating for the Summer Sun Celebration and that’s like, 2 days away so we decided to throw you a Alicorn-Princess-and-Moved-to-Ponyville-and-Defeated-Nightmare-Moon-and-“ Pinkie Pie, a pink earth pony with a pink frizzy mane and blue and yellow balloons on her rump spoke quickly grinning ear to ear.
Rarity, a beautiful white unicorn with a purple mane, blue eyes and blue gems on her backside smiled awkwardly covering Pinkie’s mouth with her hoof “We’re throwing you a party.”
After that, the ponies began to have fun and enjoy spending time with one another. Minus Luna who vanished to do her Night Work.
However, somewhere close to Ponyville, there was a mare who was not so happy.
