Chapters Final Fight for Freedom
Year 2306
Planet: Canis
The apocalypse has started over a year ago when the cats have taken over those of us who had survived the initial attack from the horses. Those of us who had survived were put into Labor Camps or have been killed. When the cats started to attack at first we were destroying them on all fronts, but everything changed when the cats were able to recruit the horses from Callabus. Mostly everyone has been taken, but there is a small shimmer of hope for freedom for the dogs. A small attack team is left alive and still fighting. I am the leader of the attack team who fight for the freedom we dogs once had named Freedom Fighters and my name is Ace. I am a pure-bred German Shepard and my teammates are made up of Isis who is a Doberman Pincer, John the Bullmastiff, and Cerberus the Rottweiler and intelligence officer Loki the Doberman pincer.
“According to Loki, Atuauri the cat overlord and Seabreeze the horse overlord, are being guarded by 6 horses at all times. Now if you all remember the battle of Wolf Creek we will be using the same tactic except with a small change on my part. Are there any questions?” I stated
“Sir, if I may ask, what is the change to your plan?” John asked
“I will be assassinating the leaders instead of capturing, and I will be destroying the building which is their headquarters so that I might someday purge the memory of what happened from everyone’s memory. Now are we ready to win back the freedom we had so many years ago.”
“Sir Yes Sir” replied the rest of the team in unison
“May the Alphas guide us to victory, now moooove out.”
We exit the woods and make for the bushes and trees leading up to the fortress that the overlords call their headquarters.
We arrive shortly and hope the gates. Shortly after we arrive me and my team separate as planned. I watch as my team goes through a dark alley leading to what could possibly be our last mission for freedom. I take one last look around looking at the area I once was able to call home. Where a crystal blue lake once was, was a lake of diluted brown water not safe to drink. What were once green hills full of myriad types of flowers, there was nothing but dead grass. Where there was a beautiful forest were groups of cut down trees. The area left a distant memory of what I had and what I had lost to drive me to this point. Jumping over another barrier of the fortress while staying in the shadows moving towards the main throne room he stays in place when he sees a group of guards.

We travelled to the point designated for distraction by Ace because it was proper distance from the castle for them to do anything should things to go awry. We were mainly staying in darkened alleyways only appearing to take out another guard. While taking out our third guard I had begun to think about how things have gone thus far and when I should admit my feelings for Ace.
When we win this fight I swear the first thing I will do after this final fight is going to be admitting my feelings and asking Ace out on a date. Then we can begin the process of rebuilding the world to the glory it once was. Maybe, just maybe, even way better than the world that we had before. But I know that with Ace guiding us that we can do almost anything.
I was snapped out of thought by a paw waving in front of me coming back to my senses. I see it was Cerberus.
“Someone daydreaming bout da Captain again eh.”
A slight blush showing under my short fur. I decided that if I didn’t retort quickly the rest of the team wouldn’t let this go anytime soon
“Shut up Cerberus, it’s only a small crush.” I state in a whisper the blush still adorning.
“Oh please, I see the way you looked at him when he was debriefing us on what to do a little while ago.”
The blush adorning my cheeks had overtaken the rest of my head.
“I said shut up.”
“Even if you did tell him, I don’t think he has gotten over Emma yet, poor guy a week away from their wedding and she dies because of the fucking horses,” stated John. “Now shut up before we get found by the stupid guards.” John hissed in a whisper.
We finally make it to the wall of the fortress and prepared the chain and hook to scale the wall and begin the part of the mission inside.
Viewpoint of Ace
After making it inside I took out the guards that were in small sitting room I make it out into the final hallway before the final showdown with the S.O.B. that caused this world so much pain. I look down one direction and don’t see any guards and then down the other direction, still no guards.
Huh could have sworn that they would have guards stationed outside of the room where that S.O.B. does most of his fucking business. That leaves three possibilities, 1.)He isn’t in there 2.) My team did an excellent job at distraction or 3.) The bastards somehow figured out that we were on our way. I’m going with option number 3 to be safe.
Raising my ears and putting them up next to the door to listen for the sounds of any life inside the room the process was all in vain, because before I put my ear next to the door, it swung open. There standing in the doorway were two guard horses and before I could react I was grabbed and thrown into the room. Getting up I notice that I am surrounded by at least twelve guard horses and in the corner of the room sitting on their make shift thrones are the two overlords I was trying to take down.
“Ah, it is good of you to finally join us Ace.” Atuauri stated in a raspy voice
“How did you know that I was going to be here Jackass ?.”
“Well, well such a bad mouth for a pup,” Seabreeze retorts.
“What ever you stupid equine piece of shit!”
“Well equine yes, but stupid no, I’m at least smart enough to know when I’m being played captain oblivious.”
“What do you mean?”
“Isn’t it obvious, the only other dog that you told about your plan that is not on you little team. And funny how he just all of a sudden got blue prints to this fortress. Didn’t it occur to you or are you really that stupid?”
“What you mean to tell me is that Loki has betrayed me?”
“Well, give the pup a Steak. You can come out Loki and watch Ace die.”
Then a door to the side of the ‘throne room’ opened and out came the treacherous traitor Loki.
“You traitorous fuck do you realize what you have done? You have doomed all dog kind to be subservient to these two!” I say pointing a paw at the two overlords.
“You have been a pain in our asses for too long Ace any last words before we have our guards destroy you?” says Atuauri
“Yeah 1.) If you think you are going to overtake this land without a final fight from me, you have another thing coming you fuck. And 2.) just bring it bitch ! You have taken everything from me, my wife, my world, and you managed to turn my best friend against me.”
“Now that, that is over GUARDS KILL HIM” Seabreeze yelled to the guards from his throne
At that instant the guards all took a step towards me closing me in for the fight. I take a moment to assess the situation looking for any weak points in the guards.
They are tall so I cant jump over them, they are strong so I cant use upright force against them. Yet they are not very agile with their armor on maybe I use that against them. Yet I will need to get out of the circle of death.
Looking around to look for the escape I see just one, in between two guards there is just enough space for me to be able to jump through if I get a running start. Before I could get the escape plan underway the guards start running at me with hooves ready for the attack.
Quickly blocking the hooves coming from the front I take the moment to launch myself towards the windows of the fortress. Looking around I catch the final glimpses of the overlords and Loki going into the room, that Loki had entered from and quickly closing the door.
Turning my vision back to the guards in the room, I have to dodge another set of hooves this time bringing my paw in to counter the attack with a quick jab at the exposed neck of the attacker. He backed up holding his throat, allowing the others to attack. I was able to block two of the hits but the third hoof hit me square in the ribs.
Shit if I am going to win the freedom back for my kind I have to throw my ‘do not kill’ moral out the fucking window.
The hit from the guard was hard enough for me to hear a residing sound of bone cracking. Pulling out my inner Hong Kong Phooey. I start to get pissed and attack everything that moved starting with the fucker that had hit me in the ribs. He tried to hit me again but I sidestep and quickly bring my forelegs in and repeatedly attacked the exposed neck, while either ducking or blocking the other guards.
Ducking under a guard I hit with a final blow and one guard went down eleven more to go. Going to the next in line I continue the attacking tactic until three guards were left. Having received various blows my body was really starting to ache. Two of the three guards come in from the front while one tries a flanking position. The two in front try attacking me and I block while taking my mind off the other one.
The next thing I knew I was being kicked in the side successfully throwing my body across the room tumbling to the ground. I shakily get back up on my paws and continue my attack. I start running and tackle one of the guards and start pummeling him. I quickly roll off of him to dodge an attack. The attack continued and hit the guard with enough force to knock him out.
The remaining two start getting panicky looks realizing that they were either going to die now or when they regain consciousness for failing their overlord. Even through their fear they continue their attack. They once again try the flanking maneuver, but this time I was ready. When the one in back was about to buck, I jumped out of the way. The kick connected with the guards’ head effectively killing him, leaving only me and a single guard left standing. Once the guard has realized he was alone he started to panic even more and decided to make a break for it.
Turning back to the door covered in bruises, a few broken bones, I wearily make my way for the fight that would either kill me or win the dog race the freedom they once had. I hobble over to the door. Opening the door and walking in the next thing I knew I was flying through the air from a kick from Seabreeze who was standing at the edge of the door. When I landed I felt something wet start to cover my fur. I shakily start to get back up when I felt another kick to the ribs causing me to fly through the air once more. This time I hit a metal wall and started to feel blackness overtaking my vision. As I heard a metallic door slam shut I had only enough strength to murmur “Emma I have failed. I will be with you soon, in Rainbow Bridge.”
Viewpoint of Isis
We were just a few feet away from where we were to meet Ace after he took out the overlords when we heard a loud rumbling and a smelt a foul odor emanating from down a hallway.
“Phew, what is that terrible stench” I said waving a paw in front of my nose.
“It smells like smoke, but where could it be coming from?” Cerberus replied.
“I don’t know, but do you think it has anything to do with Ace?” John stated.
At the thought of Ace being in trouble, I bolt down the hallway into a larger room. Noticing that there are at least ten guards knocked out or killed. I continue in the direction of the smoke to a pair of open doors that lead into a side room. Looking into the room I see the overlords at a giant metal machine with blinking lights connected to this bigger machine with a spike at the tip of it. With elongated oval body and a pair of cones at the bottom, this is where the smoke is coming from. Above the machine is a timer counting down from thirty.
Overhearing the overlords as I stand in the doorway with my teammates, they seem to say “So when this rocket goes off Ace will be no more?” Seabreeze asked.
“Yes, I have programed it to go into deep space towards the group of meteors in the Horsehead Nebula. Thanks again for freedom.” Loki stated.
What that bastard traitor. I can’t believe that our longtime friend would betray us like that.
“Hey assholes, back here!!” I yelled
“Oh look who decided to show up for their assigned death,” stated Seabreeze.

Me and the rest of the freedom fighters start running towards the overlords and traitor for the final battle. John is fighting Seabreeze the horse, I am fighting Atuauri the cat, and Cerberus is fighting Loki the dog traitor. Atuauri goes for a quick scratch across the neck. Dodging out of the way I counter with a tackle and start the pummeling. I am flipped off him as he kicks me off. Rolling to a stop on the floor I quickly glance at the timer

I start running towards the controlling machine they were standing at. Before I made it there, I was tackled to the ground and started to get scratched. Bringing my head up, I pull off a head-butt dizzying the cat enough to throw the cat off of me. Getting up again I start making my way over to the machine. I again take a look at the timer.

Fuck, we are to late. Everyone in the room stops fighting as the rocket blasts off, to become a part of a broken meteor. I felt my heart break and my sadness turn to anger as I run as fast as I can and start pummeling Atuauri to a bloody pulp. I was moving at an unnatural speed as I felt the blood course through my veins. In a few minutes of straight onslaught of attack Atuauri is dead, and I move to the next target.
I assist John in fighting the horse bastard. I go for a kick, and manage to kick him in the armor, successfully denting it. Meanwhile John was taking a flanking position to tackle the enemy to the ground for the slaughter. Before he managed to get the tackle in Seabreeze bucked him to the wall. While he was still on two legs I chop his legs out from underneath him, and start on the next onslaught of offense.
With John joining me the battle only lasted a few more minutes. Ending with a rather large chomp to the throat, Seabreeze is dead. John and I turn around and notice that Loki is also dead.
Looking back at where the ‘rocket’ was, I can feel tears starting to sting my eyes
We have won our freedom thanks to you Ace. Your sacrifice was not in vein. Even though you are gone we shall always remember you.
“W-W, We must h-hold re-remembrance for Ace to-to-tonight.” I just manage to choke out.
Sitting outside on a quiet hill overlooking a large diluted lake, where Ace would often come to think about many things, especially often after Emma had passed, John, Cerberus, and I now sat. Tears pouring down my cheeks matting my fur down to my body I step forward to a small single stone to mark his memorial, and turn around to face my teammates.
I look over to the stone one more time before pulling myself together and begin the speech that I had put together for Ace.
“We are here to remember Ace, who through his leadership and bravery we were able to gain back our freedom. Cut down in his prime because of one who he thought he could call friend. Even though he is no longer with us, we know he has been rejoined with Emma and the Alphas. As long as we remember the things he had taught us through the years of his leadership, that he shall always be with us. Now let us do the final call of action to remember him by.”
We then proceed to howl into the night for a good few minutes.
Turning back to the stone and bow my head, while my two surviving teammate come and put a paw on my back. At the contact I completely break down and openly bawl into their shoulders.
“I-I-If we were o-o-only quicker in getting th-th-through the fort. He wou-would still be with us.”
“It’s not our fault; it was the time the Alphas chose for him to go. There is nothing we could have done,” Cerberus states.
We proceed to sit there for a while me crying into their shoulders on the hill paying our final respects to our leader who has taught us so much.
The speeding rocket was cutting through the airless vacuum of space quickly approaching the destined meteorites, but before making contact something strange happened. The rocket initially was supposed to crash with the meteorite and explode into a ball of fire, but instead it just collided with the fire red meteorite creating a rather large dent into a ship. This caused the passenger on the inside around like a rag doll. As Ace was thrown around, more cuts start to occur on his already beaten body. An unruly hit to the cranium was enough to wake Ace up while the meteor itself was on a collision course with a smaller blue and green planet to be part of a beautifully red meteor storm.
Some ponies were on a distant hill watching the meteor shower.
"Wow, that's amazing!" one stated
"It's really cool." stated another
There was even a little purple and green dragon falling asleep on the back of a purple unicorn.
As the meteor started to gain speed to go through the atmosphere, started to get surrounded by fire and a long tail of fire.
"DUCK, one is coming this way" yelled a pink pony.
As they all ducked a meteorite came hurdling overhead and coming towards a deep crystal blue lake. Before the meteor and rocket went into the lake a very weak Ace managed to open the door and jump out into the shallow part of the nearby lake, unaware of the changes entering a foreign atmosphere had on his body. Having jumped into the lake he had extinguish all the fire that was burning his body from hopping from a flaming rock.
Better ending is the beginning of chapter 2. The following was for voting purposes.
Viewpoint of Ace
I awake when i feel the sun start beating into my fur.
I get to my feet still very weak and I notice that I am in a lake. and i can feel that my fur is singed. I go for a drink when i notice something odd. my once black and brown fur had turned red
Wait, since when did I have red fur
Looking into the lake water for my reflection I see that I am no longer a dog.
“FUUUCK I’m a, a…”
Fun Day at Ponyville Medical Center
Chapter 2:Fun Day at Ponyville Medical Center
The Sun was beginning to ascend into it’s position, cascading the sky in a collage of reds, oranges, and yellows. The rays beginning to shine down upon all creatures underneath, which unfortunately for me, I was now included in the list. I start to stir as the rays beat into my eyes the first thing I notice is that I am in a pool of water. No, it was bigger a lake maybe. My body was still sore from the fight.
huh, i thought that once i was in Rainbow bridge that i was supposed to be healed, and where are all the trees.
Bending my neck down as best I could, still injured from the merciless battle. The first thing I notice in the reflection, is that I have red fur.
Since when the fuck do I have red fur.
I double take when I saw that not only has my fur changed but all the other features. For instance: my muzzle had grown in width and depth, my eyes looked like they would be big on a cow. I actually had grey and black fur growing on top of my head and down my neck and spine.
Taking all of this in I realize there is only one explanation.
“Fuck im a…a… Pony. The alpha's must be very pissed at me, and let the Omega's have their fun with me. Which in turn they turn me into a good for nothing, fucking Pony.”
Weakly pulling myself out of the water, I collapse soon after, because of the pain coursing throughout my pony body from the previous fight.
I start to feel the darkness overtaking my vision. I was starting to slip into unconsciousness when I heard paw steps coming towards me. In a frail attempt I call for help, before succumbing to unconsciousness.
At the Golden Oaks Library-10 Minutes Earlier- Viewpoint of Twilight
“Waah! I overslept! I know it's already ten, but I'm scaly-tailed and bright-eyed and ready to work twice as fast. Oh please, don't be upset, Twilight. And what do you want for breakfast? Oatmeal? How about a sunflower smoothie? Grass pancakes?” Spike stated in a tone that had indicated worriedness.
“Spike, don't worry.” I said trying to reassure my number 1 assistant.
“But my morning chores...”
“It's okay. Owlowiscious did them for you.”
“Who?” asked as he scrunched up his face.
“He's our new junior assistant. He's gonna help out with your chores so you won't be so tired all the time.”
“Wha... Wh... What do we need a junior assistant for? I'm not tired. I do fine on my own.
I don't need sleep, I...”
“Spike, don't worry. He's just here to help out a little. Now, I want to go out and see if I can find that meteorite that fell near town yesterday.” I stated excitement relevant in my voice. “Who knows it might be my only chance to study a meteorite up close and I don’t want to miss this chance at knowledge.” I said as I hurried out the door to try and find the meteor.
I think I should start at the lake since it was going in that general direction from the trajectory I saw yesterday.
Arriving at the lake to look for the meteor, I start looking around when I thought I heard something, which sounded like ‘help’ come from my left. I turn in that direction and start walking towards where the sound came from. what I found startled and worried me.
I saw a pony lying on the ground with singed fur and what looked like blood dried on his coat. I walked up cautiously and put a hoof near his nose to check for signs of life. I felt his breath on my hoof, but it was very faint. I knew that if I didn’t get him help soon, he would die.
Levitating him with my magic, I start running through the streets as fast as I could to try and save his life. All the ponies that I spot on the street looked on worriedly stating things like “oh no, I hope he’s alright”, “is he dead” at the pony in my magical force field and step out of the way.
I make it to the hospital breathing heavily from the long run.
“H…Help… Please!!!”
A White earth pony came running with a stretcher. Accompanied by a few doctors.
“Put him on the stretcher. We need to get him to ER. Stat. Please wait here Ms. Sparkle we will try our best to save his life.”
Following the doctors' orders i spot a waiting room full of disease ridden ponies and sit as far away from them as possible.
Viewpoint of Ace
I start to stir at the gentle beeps of a nearby heart rate monitor. Hearing movements around me I try and fail in opening my eyes.
So I try again. Aaaannd fail
When I finally manage to open my eyes, I see a white horse trying to inject me with a needle. Upon seeing the needle my eyes shoot open as far as they could.
Noticing I am awake the horse then decides to speak.
“Ah, I see your awake, if you are wondering you are in Ponyville Medical Center, and I am Nurse Red Heart.” she said with a warm smile “ I am going to inject you with something that should help to ease the pain in your chest and foreleg.”
Looking down I notice that my foreleg was in a cast, and most of my chest was wrapped in bandages.
Fuck that. ‘The shot’ is what they gave to those who were captured so they couldn’t fight any command given to them, while in the labor camp. I need to get away from that thing.

When she tried to come close to me with that needle I started to roll my body to the side of the bed.
“Please stay still, while I deliver the shot.” Nurse Red Heart said with slight irritation in her voice at my movement.
Again she tried to deliver the shot, but this time because my body was mostly wrapped up I only manage to roll off the bed. I had managed to meet an old friend with a hard greeting, name of said friend, Mr. Floor.
*argh* I grunted while pain coursed through my body
Nurse Redheart came over to the side of the bed to try and assist me back up into my bed. Before she could get up to me I stumble up and taking my usual fighting position.
“I NOT TAKING THAT FUCKING SHOT AND YOU CAN’T MAKE ME, YOU NO GOOD HORSE!!!” I yelled at the top of my lungs.
“N-Now calm down, al-alright it is just going to h-help you.” She said through her slight shutter of fear
“No I am not going to take that shot and get put in a Labor camp!!!”
“W-What are y-you talking about?”
“AS IF YOU DIDN’T KNOW, DON’T PLAY STUPID OR TAKE ME FOR A FOOL!!” I yelled in a loud enough voice that alerted the hospital orderlies of the situation in this room.
“Is everything alright Nurse?” said a brown Horse with a horn coming out of his head ran into the room.
“WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU!”
“Sir please calm down, there is nothing to worry about. We are not going to hurt you we just want to help you.” The unicorn stated trying to defuse the situation.
“Answer the question!” Ace demanded
“I am a unicorn, if you must know, now please calm down sir, or I will have to restrain you with magic.”
Did he just say magic

And like that Ace blacked out and collapsed where he was in the corner of the room.
After blacking out the Doctor used his magic to levitate Ace back into the bed. Nurse Red heart quickly walked up to him and injected the shot into the arm and another in the midsection.
“so why did he get angry in the first place?” the Doctor asked turning towards Nurse Red heart.
“I don’t know he just woke up and saw the syringe and went completely insane.”
“Well looks like we know one thing about him,” the Doctor states positively “he’s got Belonephobia, and he’s got it baaad .”
“Do you think we should tell Ms. Sparkle that the pony that she found was awake?” Nurse Red heart asked
“Well she might be able to assist in the situation and help the patient, whose life she save.”
“well if you say so Doc.”
"What do you think he meant by labor camp and acting like he never saw a unicorn before?"
"I would chalk that under the Belonephobia affecting his logical portion of his mind, because you did say that he didn't start acting like that until he saw the needle."
Viewpoint of Twilight
I have been waiting here to get word on the pony I brought in. I hope he’s alright. He looked to be in really bad shape when I got here
A door opened leading to the back, and the Doctor came out as if looking for something.
"Ms. Sparkle, may i have a word with you please?"
"yes Doctor, what is it about, is he alright?"
"yeah, he is going to make a full recovery, I would just like a few questions answered. If I may."
Giving a sigh of relief that he is going to be okay. I follow the doctor to a room off to the side so that we could have privacy while we talked.
"I would just like to know the basics like: where you found him, did he appear to have any other injuries prior to moving him here, and what condition did you find him in."
"To answer all of your questions: I found him by the lake when he gave a very weak call for help. He did not appear to have any other injuries besides the ones that you guys fixed. He was unconscious when I actually found him by the lake."
"May i go in and see him?" I ask curiously
"Yeah, he's in room 316, also be careful around him with needles. Turns out he is terrified of them." the doctor stated as if he actually understood.
"Thank you doctor."
"That is why we are here Ms. Sparkle"
Turning to the right to go up the stairs to get to his room i start to wonder how did he get out there by the lake, and in such a horrid condition?
When i was getting close i start to hear laughter emanating down the hall. As i got closer to his room the laughter only increased in sound. He was laughing but at what. I reach to open the door and walk in.
Viewpoint Ace-15 minutes before Twilight goes to enter the room
Slowly waking from passing out…again, I notice a pink thing moving around in my assigned room. At first it looked as if it was a pink blur, but as I started to gain my sight back, I could notice that it had equine features. It had the same soft features as the nurse. The snout was shorter and more curved. She was smaller in form. She was a little pudgy around the middle, but still in relatively good shape. Before I could react she was muzzle to muzzle with me
“HOLY ALL ALPHA’S BUSHY FUCKING TAIL, WHERE THE HELL DID YOU COME FROM!!!”
“Hi, I’m Pinkie pie, but my friends call me pinkie. I am here to help you feel better, Starting with balloon animals.” ‘Pinkie said as she started pulling balloons out of her mane.
“Couldn’t you wait until I awoke, before breaking in here?!”
“Now where would the fun be in that? What kind of animal would you like?”
“I don’t want any animal OR anything from you Pinkie!!!”
As soon as I said that I literally see that she was on the verge of tears. I start to feel really bad about what I had just said, she was just here to help me and I respond to her in a very negative way.
“a-al-right i-if th-that is wh-what you want I wi-will leave you a-alone.” Pinkie stated with a defeated tone
Shit I’m a jackass. I should really should at least give her a try. I mean come on she seems like a friendly pony not like those on Canis.
(but if she pulls out any needles I am going to kick her skull off and proceed to play soccer)
“Hey Pinkie Pie, I’m sorry, all you were trying to do was cheer me up, and I respond like a jackass . If you would like to try, go ahead. Once again I’m sorry Ma’am.”
Hearing this Pinkie turned around sporting a smile so big, it made Ace think ‘ah shit, what have I gotten myself into.’
As I watched her I notice that she had pulled a tray of cupcakes out of her tail. They were Chocolate cupcakes with rainbow frosting. Frosted as if it were done from a professional baker
EWWWW Hopefully she doesn’t want me to eat those.
“Its’ alright silly, I shouldn’t have entered the room while you were asleep. Here are some cupcakes I made for you to enjoy while I make ‘Balooooooon animals’.” Pinkie said in a singsong voice.
Shit I guess if I am going to try and make her feel better I should at least try one.
I notice Pinkie watching me with enthusiasm as I bring the cupcake slowly to my mouth.
If I die because of this, I am so haunting her to death
I open my mouth and slowly take a bite out of the Cupcake. I couldn’t describe what I tasted. It was heavy in chocolate, with warm fudge oozing from the middle. The frosting only added to the tastes fighting for dominance in my mouth. I could literally feel my spirit rise out of my body as it reached a state of peace that I haven’t felt. Since Emma.
I couldn’t help but smile as I stated “That… was… the best thing I EVER tasted. How did you get it to taste like that, I mean the chocolate inside filling, which was a stroke of genius.”
“Well I’m glad you enjoyed them. I worked like forever on them. Now then what animal would you like?”
“How about a dog?” I ask still caught in the euphoria of the cupcake.
Within a second there was a dog in my lap. I slowly pick it up and remember the good old days, before Armageddon. How I used to lay out in the sun, about how the wind felt when I howled in the moonlight.
“Thank you Pinkie Pie, This really means a lot to me.” I state with a tint of happiness.
“You can call me Pinkie,” pinkie then half lidded her eyes “all of my friends do.” Then blinking her eyelids repeatedly while looking at me.
“Friends, FRIENDS, THE LAST TIME I HAD A FRIEND THEY ENDED UP STABBING ME IN THE BACK, LEADING ME INTO A TRAP, IN WHICH I GOT BEATEN UP BY HORSES!!!” I try to yell at the top of my lungs, but the residual pain in my chest from the ‘fixed’ broken rib.
“WHAT? That is not very friendly. Friends look out for each other. I’m sorry that happened to you. You don’t have to worry about that with me, I Pinkie Promise.” Pinkie stated while crossing her heart flapping her forelegs, as one would see on a bird before takeoff, then sticking her hoof into her eye.
Shit this mare is into self-mutilation
“what was that, if I may ask?” I asked with a straight face, but inside I was scared this mare was NUTS.
“oh that is a Pinkie Promise, it is an honored promise that must never be broken.” Pinkie stated.
“hey do you want to hear some comedic standup that I am working on?” Pinkie asked
“well sure, after all I heard laughter is the best medicine.”
Pinkie then hopped over to a stage

“The other day I spilt spot remover on my dog,” Pinkie pauses for comedic effect “and now I can’t find him.” Another Joke Rimshot was sounded.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Can’t find him BWAHAHAHAH!!” Ace laughs loud enough he can be heard down the hall.
While his eyes are closed and he is laughing he suddenly hears the door open slowly.
In comes a purple pony. A stripe of pink going through her purple hair. It is then that I notice the horn.
Oh shit that fucking doctor went and got another one.
I quickly get out of bed and slowly make my way over to the corner of the room.
When she notices me she states
“Hello, there I hope you are feeling better than when I found you this...”
“Who in the blue hell are you ?!!”
I knew that if I could get her to start talking I might be able to escape
“My name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia, and im…”
Before she could continue with her sentence she saw the bedside lamp flying at her. Before said clock could hit her, I see her horn light up with a purple aura. The same aura appeared around the lamp before it slowed to a stop.
Shit maybe something heavier.
“What are you do…” once again stopping in mid sentence when she saw the bedside table flying at her.
“Why are you throwing things, that could hurt somepony?” pinkie asked bewildered at my behavior.
“Because I don’t feel like dying because of MAGIC!!” I state as if it were obvious
“Twilight isn’t going to hurt you, she wouldn’t hurt anypony, now please stop throwing things.” Pinkie pleaded.
“Well since I believe I can trust you, I will stop.” I say slowly putting down the heart rate monitor.
“What the HAY is wrong with you?!!” twilight asked with ‘da fuk’ face plastered on her head.
“Sorry it’s just; I have never seen unicorns before today, where I come from all there are, are ponies without horns or wings, so I got scared you wanted to cause me pain. I just thought that you wanted to hurt me. So I tried to defend myself, from any pain.”
“where are you from, where there are no unicorns?”
“well silly it’s obvious isn’t it. He’s from a faraway planet..."
Shit, Shit must shut this 'pony' up before everything is in the air.
Moving fast I put my good hoof over her mouth before she could reveal everything.
“heheh, don’t listen to her I am not from a different planet.” I say trying to save myself from explanation hoping that the unicorn didn’t get any of the information, because of the crazy psycho 'pony'. Whose mouth is currently covered by my hoof.
*Gasp* “you’re from a different planet, this is so amazing. First contact with alien life and I was the one who found him.” “I have so many questions Mr. Alien. I should inform Princess Celestia about this new finding. Wow alien life” twilight exclaimed with excitement putting her hoof to the side of her jaw.
“Please calm down Ma’am, and could you please call me Ace.”
“Alright Ace, but I have a lot of questions for you like…”
“Do you like parties, and cake?” Pinkie asked backing away from my hoof.
"Well, I'm sorry for answering a question with a question, but what in the names of the Alpha's are parties?" I asked
"Whaaa!! how do you not know what a party is? didn't you ever have any?" Pinkie asked as if I slapped her mother in front of her.
"Well to answer your second question No I don't really like cake, too sweet, and no I haven't ever had a party."
I looked at twilight who had gotten a scroll and quill rapidly taking notes on everything I was saying.
Is she really taking notes, heh egghead.
"As I was saying before I was interrupted, I have so many questions to ask. like what is the name of your planet, how did you get here, how is it that we can speak the same language, what is the weather like, what is the population..."
*Knock Knock* came from the door, as Twilight stopped the questioning and turned to the door.
"I will answer your questions later alright."
From the open door walked in the same nurse that I scared before.
I should really say sorry about before, now that I know that the 'ponies' here aren't going to kill me.
"ah, hello nurse, I'm really sorry about before, but I am not a fan of needles." I asked hoping that she would understand.
"It's quiet alright, I can understand waking up with a needle in hoof reach, when you have Belonephobia can be a bad sight. I just came in here to tell you that you are free to leave, all I need is for you to sign a small amount of paperwork."
I walk to the front desk as best I could with a leg cast, passing by several hospital orderlies. Finally getting to what I assume was the main lobby, by the sick and bored, looks on the ponies. The nurse had given me the release form.
After the paperwork which consisted mainly of signing my signature here and there before they release me from the hospital.
"Now before you go out into ponyville, you need to be aware of two things. One, that there are three different types of ponies. Earth ponies, Pegasi, Alicorns, and Unicorns. Earth ponies like Pinkie and yourself are strong and are finely in tune with the worlds surface, which is why many Earth Ponies are good at jobs like farming.
Pegasi have wings and are able to maneuver clouds and control the weather.
Unicorns like myself are able to use magic and are able to control our surroundings.
Alicorns are very rare, are a combination of all three of the prior mentioned types
And two there are many foals in town so could you watch your language, which by what Pinkie told me can be quiet horrid at times."
"Well I will certainly try, no promises, and certainly no pinkie promises" I say looking at Pinkie and remembering her jabbing her hoof into her eye sent shivers down my spin. "because I don't know how well I might be able to. Because I have been using 'horrid' language, as you put it, for a long time."

The first thing I notice is that there are a lot of ponies, I spot a lot of unicorns and earth ponies. I then spot the Pegasi, flying high in the sky among the few clouds in the sky. a single thought enters my mind as I watch them.
'that looks awesome, I wonder what it must feel like to fly'
Twilight seems to notice my gaze at the Pegasi in the sky.
"amazingly graceful, am I right" she states. I found myself unable to speak as I watch the beautiful graceful movements in the sky, so I settle with nodding my head.
"Well we had better get going I would like to introduce you to my friends so that we may be able to help you assimilate into our society." "plus owlicious, my pet owl, is probably getting tired of being cooped up inside all day."
Meet the Mane and Party
Walking outside for the first time since waking up, the bright rays of the sunshine and sweet scent of fresh air gracing my nose, on my legs after being cooped up in a stuffy hospital for what seemed like a few days, even though it was a few hours. The cast still on my right foreleg and the bandages still covering my broken ribs and singed coat. Along with the two mares named Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle.
Looking around, I notice two things. The first is that the town looked a lot like the home I grew up in, before the terrible war that had changed everything. There were small houses with hay roofs. Also in the distance is what looked like a bustling market place.
And two is that there are a lot of ponies around, the ‘types’ I see the most are unicorns and earth ponies. That is until something overhead catches my eye. Looking up I see a few pegasi, flying high in the sky among the few clouds that were in the sky. A single thought enters my mind as I watch the pegasi fly around.
‘That looks awesome, I wonder what it must feel like to fly’
Twilight seems to notice my gaze at the Pegasi flying above
“Amazingly graceful, am I right?” she states. I find myself unable to speak as I watch the beautifully graceful movements made in the sky, so I settle with simply nodding my head.
Twilight breaks my concentration by stating
“Well, we had better get going I would like to introduce you to my friends so we might be able to assist you in learning from our society while your here. Also I would like to send a letter to the princess informing her of the situation.”
“Well alright, just as long as not too many ponies know that I’m from around here.”
While walking as best a pony could on three legs, I overhear a few ponies saying things like “Wow, an adult blank flank” and some worried ponies asking “What happened to him”. Yet most of them didn't seem to care as they had just kept on their merry way. My curiosity getting the better of me I decided I needed to know what a ‘blank flank’ was so I could try to understand what their talking about.
I decided that I should ask Twilight since I could probably get a more straightforward answer from her, since Pinkie would probably do something really weird. I shudder just remembering her ‘Pinkie Promise’.
“Twilight” I say so that I have her attention.
“Yes”
“Don’t mind my question, but I’ve been hearing a few ponies say things and I was wondering, what’s a blank flank?”
“Wow that’s rude,” Twilight said looking around to try and see who might have said it. “Well a blank flank is…” she started before my vision got filled with a lot of pink.
“A blank flank, is a pony that doesn’t have a Cutie Mark.”
Pinkie answered cutting Twilight off and only leaving me more confused than before. The confusion could be read on my face as I ask
“What’s a Cutie Mark?”
“Well it’s what showcases what a pony’s special talent is.” Twilight turned to the side, scroll and quill still held in her magical aura. She waved a hoof over a mark that was on her flank.
Huh, thought that was some kind of branding
“Mine shows that I am exceptionally good at magic.”
Pinkie then decided to cut in “and mine shows my love for making ponies smile and talent of throwing parties.”
“Is it normal for a pony to be a blank flank as an adult?” I asked curiously as to why all of the ponies were staring at me in the first place.
“No usually they find out what their special talent is while they are still foals.” Twilight said in her know-it-all tone.
“Oh, so then that explains all of the weird stares I have been getting from the passing ponies.” I said as I notice even more ponies staring at me.
While we walked down the street Twilight and Pinkie kept asking questions in an almost inaudible tone to keep the fact that I am not from here a secret. Some of the questions involved were: what’s your planet like, does your kind have magic, do you like pranks, when is your birthday, and what’s the seasons like, what is your government like,… etc…. (I’ll let your guess who asked what)
We kept walking inching closer and closer to the place Twilight was leading us to.
“Twilight” turning to look at the purple mare “I just wanted to say sorry for before, you see before I turned up on this planet, my world was in the middle of a devastating war. And I didn’t know if I could trust you, but you seem alright.”
*GASP* “What were you guys fighting over, was it a land dispute like the ponies in Appleoosa had with the native buffalo before they learned that sharing is caring?” Pinkie asked. I had no idea what Appleoosa was but I decided it didn’t matter at the time. Before Ace could reply Twilight turned to Pinkie to state the truth of what happened that day.
“Pinkie, the buffalo didn’t learn anything about sharing or caring. What they learned is that they really like Apple Pie.” After that statement Twilight turned back to Ace, “Please continue."
“No, it was to save my species from annihilation, you see, we were fighting for our right to live. About four years ago, my planet was invaded by the cats of Panthera. The invaders were cats that walked on hind legs with larger paws on their hind legs, used for sneak attacking us. They were absolutely terrible fighters and we could smell them from miles away. But everything changed when they teamed up with the horses. They were faster than us and more strategically sound in their attacking plans. Four years later, our once pleasant world was practically in ruin. They have captured and enslaved most of my species to use in labor camps. I was the leader of the final strike team of the rebel forces. That is why it is important for me to get back to Canis.”
When I was done telling the story of what occurred, leaving the part of why I was actually fighting in the war in the first place. I notice that both Pinkie and Twilight were trying to fight back tears. Pinkie’s mane and tail were completely straight for once.
“Oh, I am really sorry to hear about what happened on your world.” Twilight said blinking the tears were obviously stinging her eyes.” I’m sure that Princess Celestia will be able to help you in getting back.” Twilight said reassuringly still on the brink of crying. Looking around I notice that the ponies that were just simply looking at me were now scowling.
Great, just Great, I got these two to almost cry and now, I’m going to have ponies pissed at me here, and probably try to hurt me.
“It’s ok; it’s in the past, nothing I can do about it now, until I am able to get back to my home. Now may we continue on our way?” asking so that I can get away from the angry ponies.
“Well now I’m gonna have to throw you a Super-mega-party-trifectaoffun’welcometoponyville’’wecometoearth’’sorry-aboutyourplanet’party!!!”Pinkie stated as her mane and tail inflate back to their original shape. No I mean literally inflated like that of a balloon.
Finally closing in on the giant tree I notice that there are several windows, a balcony, and a big red door with a candle pictured upon it. The green leaves above were indication enough to know that the tree was somehow still alive and well.
Drawing closer I notice that there is still a lot of dirt in my coat and mane
Damn and I thought the doctors would have gotten most of it out after they had put on this damn cast and bandages.
“Um Twilight can I take a shower someplace I can still feel a lot of dirt on me and I would also like to get the scent of disease ridden pony off.”
“Well, I guess you can take a shower at my place, but remember the nurse said that you need to keep the cast dry.”
Finally reaching the library Twilight led Ace inside so that he could take a shower and she could get a message to the princess. As Pinkie bounced into the library to wait for the rest of her friends to show up.
Viewpoint of Twilight
After making sure that ace made it to the shower on the second floor of the library alright, and pinkie didn’t mess up the organized library, she went over to the writing desk that sat in her study nook and began to write a letter to the princess informing her of this ‘possible extraterrestrial ’.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I must inform you that while I was going to study a meteorite that fell near the lake, during the meteor shower last night, I have come across a stallion that looked like he went 12 rounds with Mustang Ali. I brought him to the Ponyville Medical Center.
Later I found out that hasn’t even seen a different species of pony besides earth pony. When I asked him where he came from that there weren’t any other types, because I thought he might be part of a feral tribe from the desert near Saddle Arabia, Pinkie replied for him saying that he was from another world entirely. ‘Can you believe it the mathematical improbabilities within the potential first contact are absolutely mind boggling.
I have yet to find any truth or fallacy in the story. Yet I am leaning more to it being truth because of how he reacted when Pinkie stated that he wasn’t from here. He immediately put his hoof over her mouth and tried to deny it. I think he is even worse at lying than Applejack since immediately afterwards he scrunched up his nose as if he smelt something absolutely terrible. I began to question him upon his world just in case it turns out to be true.
So far what I have been able to uncover is that his world was in turmoil. That his species was fighting against annihilation and enslavement. That it was how he put it ‘his duty to save everyone and bring them back to the freedom they once had.’ He had also stated that he needs to get back to his world and continue on the mission of freedom. I shall keep this a secret, because someponies might respond with fear of him like they did with Zecora before they found out that she is a goodhearted Zebra.

With that Twilight walked back down to the main floor with scroll levitating in her field of magic. She noticed that Pinkie had gone outside to talk to their friends. She was looking around for her dragon assistant, she notices him lying in a windowsill reading.
“Spike I need you to send this to Princess Celestia right away, it is of vital importance that she get notified.”
Looking up from his book frustrated because of his morning with owlowiscious and just getting to the good part of the book.
*agitated sigh* ”fine” spike said while glaring at the scroll in the magical field.
He grabbed the scroll and lit it on fire to transport straight to Celestia, before turning back to the book.
Collecting Owlowiscious I made my way outside to talk with my friends and show off my new junior assistant.
“Hi girls, this here is Owlowisious, he is my new pet, that is helping out around the library."
A yellow colored Pegasus next to Twilight stated how wonderful he was.
While in the window a small green and purple dragon was reading a book on owls, and decided it was a good idea to mock the Pegasus. Then stating when he notices all the mares staring at him, “Uh, Yes. Wonderful. He’s quite… the charmer.”
After the outburst from the dragon A white unicorn next to Pinkie levitated a bejeweled, red ribbon up to the owl “And Owlowisious is just such a star I just had to make this little bow for you.”
Seeing that the ribbon that he had been given the night before was now given to his enemy, ‘the owl, he let out a frustrated growl and stormed inside the tree house slamming the glass door behind him.
It was at this time that the library door opened to reveal a freshly showered Ace. His long mane hung limply down his neck. The Dim grey tips on his otherwise black mane were clinging to his matted crimson coat.
*Pomf* the telltale sign of pegasi wingboners brought me out of my thoughts as I turn back to my friends I notice that both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have extended wings and cherry red faces. While Rainbow and Fluttershy tried to push their wings down. After a minute Fluttershy gives up and cowers behind her mane on the ground, to hide from the embarrassment. While Rainbow Dash's thought wow I am so gonna set storm clouds over this guy. I notice that in the midst of the Pegasi trying to control their wings, Rarity had walked up beside me and started to whisper
”Twilight, if I may be so bold as to ask, but why do you have a dripping wet, hunk of stallion walking about in your home? You didn’t you know , did you?” Rarity said pointing at Ace with her head.
At the thought, Twilight’s coat grew to a Firebrick red because of the fierce blush as she stammered,
“W-w-what! No!!!, h-he is a n-new f-friend, that I had b-brought to the hospital, th-this morning after finding him in very b-bad sh-shape.” As Twilight fully regained her voice she had thought it necessary to repeat
“He’s just a new friend.”
Viewpoint of Ace
Stepping out of the library to find where Twilight and Pinkie went to after crossing an angry little dragon dude, he found them outside the library. She was with some other ponies I assume are the friends she spoke of when we exited the hospital, not too long ago.
One was an orange pony with a bright blonde mane, which was tied into a ponytail at the end. The same mane style was used for their tail. Covering her face was a Stetson that looked like it had seen some use.
Another was a cyan blue Pegasus with a scruffy, rainbow colored mane and tail, which stated that she didn’t care what she looked like. Looking at her wings I noticed that they were standing a full length and that she had a very red face and was visibly sweating.
I hope that she isn’t sick, because that is the last thing I need. To have caught an alien disease and bring it back to Canis.
There was a cream yellow Pegasus with a long pink mane huddled on the ground looking away. Like the cyan pony her wings were standing at full length.
Huh I wonder is it a disease that these two have, since I didn’t see any other pegasi with their wings like this when we were walking over here. It could just be because these two need to stretch their wings and didn’t feel like flying. I’m gonna have to ask about this later.
Standing in between the two Pegasi was a white unicorn with an elegantly styled purple mane, which stated that she was a more ladylike type of pony instead of the cyan one a few inches away. Noticing that she is using her head to point at me I decide it would be in my best interest to listen as I quickly approach.
Immediately after the mare pointing at me, Twilight’s purple coat turns a very dark shade of red as she stammers about what happened this morning.
Ending the conversation she had with the white unicorn by stating “He’s just a new friend.”
“Heh, friend,” I say with a hint of annoyance “I don’t need any friends, ‘FRIEND’ to me means that I trust you, until you decide it is good for you to stab me in the back and trick me into an attack by several others, and leave me for dead.”
With that it seemed to bring everyone out of their daze, except for the yellow Pegasus, who was still on the ground and wings were folded at her side. Everyone besides Pinkie was in utter shock at what Ace’s definition of friend was.
Twilight was the first to come out from the shock.
“What, that isn’t what friendship is, friends are ponies that you can trust, and enjoy having fun together. They are those that you can count on when you have nothing. They are those that you generally feel good being around…”
The others seem to be coming out of their shock as Twilight finishes her lecture of friendship to me. Thinking I was interested she continued, but I was zoning out wondering when this overzealous mare will finally shut up.
After what seems like a few minutes she finally finishes her lecture on some bullshit about how friendship is a special type of magic.
The White unicorn steps up to Twilight. “Twilight aren’t you going to introduce us to him?” the accent was frankly starting to get annoying.
Twilight looked embarrassed as she had forgotten to do introductions. “Riiight,”
Stepping in front of her friends she started to go down the line of ponies first up was the orange mare.
“Howdy-doo my name’s Applejack and I run tha farm, Sweet Apple Acres. If’n yer lookin for a job. We can always use an extra hoof.”
“Well thanks for the offer, I will consider that.”
YEAH RIGHT as soon as I meet this Celestia, I am so outta here.
Next in line was the Cyan Pony with a rainbow mane.
“I’m Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Equestria” she stated as she flew up and did a few circles in the air.
Wow what a show off, and what’s with the rainbow mane, if that doesn’t say Carpet Chewer, I don’t know what does.
Continuing down the line was the white unicorn
“Hello Darling, My name is Rarity; I am a fashion designer here in Ponyville.” She stated with her elegant accent and held out her hoof, as if expecting me to kiss it.
Not Gonna Happen
I take a quick seat and use my undamaged leg to shake hoofs and continue down to meet the final pony in the group. It was the crème yellow Pegasus. As we approached she hid behind her mane and started to squeak out
“I’m Flutteershy” She went into inaudible squeaks as I ask Twilight if she is alright. The response I got is.
“That’s Fluttershy, She is the animal caretaker for most of Ponyville. She is very timid around new ponies.”
Ah of course the name makes total sense.
After the little meet and greet Rainbow Dash decided to ask the question I was fearing would be asked.
“Pinkie says you’re an alien from another world. Your not here to take over our world, because if you are I will stomp a mudhole in your flank, I will kick your flank from here to Coltbucktwo.
As she finished she got into a fistycup fighting position.
“What! No! I don’t want to fight you!!” I say backing up “Besides I need to save my strength for when I return to the fight and take down the Horse Overlord, and return my species to freedom.”
At that Rainbow drops back on all fours giving me inspecting eyes “Alright, but I’m keeping my eye on you, one bad move and you're going down.”
Twilight steps up to Ace along and Rainbow with the others
“Well I guess with that I guess you are going to be coming with us on our little tour of Ponyville Rainbow”
“Yeah I’ll go to keep an eye on Ace.”
With that we start on the tour around town. During the tour Pinkie left saying that she needed to return to work at Sugarcube Corner.
First stop was Sweet Apple Acres, where Applejack lived. The Apple Orchard was so large it made a forest back home look like a small park. In the middle of it all was a Red house with white trimmings along with a barn with similar colors. It was easy to see how dedicated the Apples were to their jobs for three reasons.
The first being that Applejack said that they harvest the apples by themselves each and every year; it was no doubt that they could use an extra pair of hooves, because this place was enormous.
The second being that the apple trees themselves were separated into rows and columns of trees, it surprised me that trees could even be made into neat rows and columns. It certainly proved that the Apples were experts at what they do.
After they left they started heading back into town.
The first thing I notice is that the town is more deserted than DeTorkie has abandoned broken down factories. I decide to take note of it in case I need it later
When Rainbow Dash stated that she was keeping an eye on Ace she held true to her word. If Ace had eyes in the back of his head, he would have noticed Rainbow Dash watching his every move. Mainly focused on his flank, it went unnoticed until Rarity finally whispered something about it.
“Rainbow, you know it is quite rude to stare.”
“I wasn’t staring,” looking very nervous Rainbow had to quickly give a reason, “I was just noticing that he doesn’t have a Cutie Mark, is all”
Surprised that she didn’t take notice of it before Rarity did a double take to confirm Rainbow was correct and that Ace didn’t have a cutie mark. She decided that she would ask him later.
The rest of the tour went as is: we visited town hall, passed by Carousel Boutique, and were currently at Fluttershy’s cottage.
The place seemed to scream nature itself, even more so than the library tree, which still seems like a cruel joke to me.
The place has an abundance of birdhouses built into it. There’s what appears to be an oak split door, so that the top could open and a fresh breeze could go through the house. There is a serene little river that passes under a bridge made out of land itself.
In plain the sight was absolutely astounding. The more astounding part was that Fluttershy took care of all of these animals by herself. I am sure that if I had to continuously watch over all of the animals here you would quickly create a new game. The name of the new game would be 'Kick The Bunny' . Mainly because I was used to hunting these things, not taking care of them.
As I stare the animals run up to Fluttershy, who enters her house to feed them, and take care of them I assume.
During this time Twilight decides to ask another question that I was hoping was not going to be asked about the off chance of me not getting home.
“Ace, if by the chance that you will not be able to get back to your planet, where are you going to sleep?”
That question hit me like a thousand cheap shots to the jaw.
“Well if, by the off chance of that, I guess I will just sleep in the street under the stars, like when I was young.”
After I finished saying it I heard shocked gasps come from the girls. Rarity steps up to say something.
“Well darling, I certainly can not allow you to sleep outside in the night, I humbly open my doors for you to sleep at the Carousel Boutique.”
“I agree with Rars, if’n ya would like, ya can sleep in meh barn. Since there’s not a lot of room in the house.” Applejack offered and I didn’t even notice Fluttershy exiting her house.
“Um…Applejack, I don’t think…that would..be a good idea…with Ace’s cast don’t you think that he should sleep somewhere cleaner and near somepony that could take care of his injuries.”
Out of all of the ideas about where he would sleep should the unthinkable be true, Fluttershy would be the best out of all of them, because if she could take care of that many annoying animals then she would certainly know a lot of things about broken bones.
“I would rather sleep outside, but if I have to sleep inside, I think Fluttershy’s would be the best option.”
That being said we continue toward our final destination. SugarCube Corner.
Arriving at Sugar cube corner it looked a lot like Candyland was built into a house. It was a three story building with a cupcake at the very top, with candles. The interior of the building was completely dark, which got me to start thinking.
Why are we even going into a place that looks like it’s closed. It doesn’t make any sense, Unless. Wait, the disappearance of the ponies, going into a completely dark building, didn’t Pinkie Pie say something about a party back at the hospital.
During my thought process I didn’t even notice that the girls I was with have went into the house/store.
Coming back to my senses I quickly go into the house not expecting what was going to happen once I get in.
“I wish Princess Celestia would get here sooner so I can get back without a bunch of crazy ponies trying to make friends.”
As I go into the building the door immediately shut behind me. Slightly startling me. It was too dark to effectively see anything so I start to stumble through the door. I catch the wafting, pleasant scent of dozens of sweets that have been baked.
In a moment the lights flicker on as an ear shattering cry “SURPRISE” from the sea of multicolored Ponies. The sound was so loud Ace feared that the structure of the building would crumble and cause the building to collapse. He was so fearful that he dropped to the ground and covered his eyes ready to meet his makers.
What he didn’t notice is the pink pony from before hopped right in front of him. Uncovering his eyes, I saw two blue eyes staring right back at me.
“Were you surprised huh, huh, huh, were you?” Pinkie said with the speed that everything came out at a speed that rivaled the speed of the Batdog mobile from the comics.
“Yes, Pinkie, I must say I was quite surprised. What is all of this exactly, and when did you have enough time to even throw all of this together?”
“Well silly, this is your party, as for when, I started this when I left the group one hour ago.”
Quite shocked since all of this should have taken at least 4 hours to complete Ace asks, “But that doesn’t make any sense. All of this should have taken you more than a simple hour to complete all of the baking, inviting everyone, and putting up all of the decorations. It doesn’t make any sense.”
You were only left in confusion as Pinkie was already gone before you were able to finish my question. Yet after my question I was tapped on the shoulder by a Purple hoof. Turning around I see Twilight Sparkle in standing beside as she answers my question.
“it’s Pinkie Pie, don’t question how that mare works, it will only lead in confusion. I remember when I was trying to figure out her Pinkie Sense. Before you question, it is a sense that Pinkie has to foretell the immediate future. We here in Ponyville have learned to just go with it.”
Deciding that it would probably only lead to headaches he decided to follow Twilight’s ‘just ignore it’, and went to go join in the party.
Meanwhile in Canterlot-viewpoint of Celestia
Walking through the vast castle hallways I was walking to the castle entrance, so that I could go to Ponyville, to see if this new pony in Ponyville is going to be hostile or peaceful, also to see if I might be able to assist him in getting back to his home.
Walking beside me is my sister, Princess Luna.
“Lulu I am going to Ponyville to meet the visitor to the land of equestrian, and to make sure he is not here to cause harm to any of our subjects. Do you still remember your part of our plan?” I say looking down at my little sister walking beside me.
“Yes Tia, we remember that thou, hast asketh of us to peek into his dreams.”
As we walk out the main entrance I hop onto the royal carriage, ready to disembark from the castle.
Back at SugarCube Corner- Viewpoint of Ace
The party so far has been fun there was a lot of food, mainly sweets. In the corner there seemed to be a table stacked mountain high with gifts. Above the gift table there was a large white banner with red lettering saying ‘Welcome to Ponyville'.
Wow that is so nice, not that I’m going to need any of that stuff, since I am going to be returning where I truly belong, home.
Looking back at the partying ponies, I notice the Cyan mare at a table, waving me over. Obliging I walk over to where she was standing, to see what it was that she wanted. On the table was a bowl and a white stand. The stand had carrots and apples, while the bowl had what looked like small yellow lemon colored candies.
“Hey Ace you should really try some of these Vanilla Lemon Drops, they’re really good.” Rainbow Dash says pointing at the yellow candy in the bowl.
I grab one and pop it into my mouth tasting the candy, it tasted like an equal amount of vanilla and Lemon went into making it. There was a small heat to it, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. The look on Rainbow’s face was priceless; it looked to be in a state of utter shock.
“How can you eat those like nothing, I put pepper in those, those were supposed to be burning hot?”
“If a small heat is what you call burning, then yes this is burning hot.” I say sarcastically as I walk away leaving rainbow dash in a state of shock.
Walking passed the partying ponies I go to grab a cup of pink colored punch that was sitting upon another small circular, brown table. I notice that there is a glass cup of punch by the bowl. Taking a closer look at the glass I can definitely see a small puncture hole in the side of the cup.
No way, they have dribble glasses here, I am so pranking someone.
I had to decide who to prank since there were so many ponies here even though it was starting to get dark outside.
Well if I go with Pinkie she might not like it since she is the one who threw the party. But then the perfect candidate came walking up. The orange pony with the Stetson, Applejack.
“So how are ya likin the party, sugarcube?”
“It is very fun,” I reply waiting to give this mare the glass. I see that Pinkie and rainbow are walking up together with small grins on their faces. Probably thinking that I am going to be drinking this, then they are going to love this.
“Hey Applejack, would you like some punch, I am trying to make sure that everyone has some before the end of the evening, because I think it has to be the best stuff I have ever tried.” I say laughing on the inside, while trying to keep a straight face. And it was true I did have some and it tasted of freshly squeezed fruit.
Unknowingly Applejack actually takes the cup as the onlookers grins grew. I didn’t think I was going to be able to keep it together as I watch Applejack bring the cup up to her lips. As she tips the cup waiting for the sweet taste of punch, but the taste never comes as it goes through the little hole dripping on the farm pony.
The onlookers fell to the floor in a fit of laughter, as Applejack walked off to dry her coat. After she left and the two got a hold of themselves, they walked over to me. The cyan pony was first to speak.
“That was good, I can’t wait to hang out some more. The three of us can pull off some serious prank-age.” With that she stuck out her hoof as to shake it with me.
Clever mare , trying to do something like that to me, yet I have seen all of these pranks before.
“Um… Rainbow, I can’t shake hoofs, because I might put to much weight on my leg and end up in pain on the ground.”
Successfully blocked, take that paw buzzer.
The look on rainbows face says that she is mulling over the new information and finally comes to the conclusion that it might actually happen.
“alright I will see you around then big guy.” With that she and the pink pony fly off into the crowd of ponies.
The party has been going for a good two hours now. It has become nighttime. The party music from a white unicorn mare with a blue and white mane blasting dubstep throughout the place, has really got the party started as all of the ponies that were standing around before were now in the middle of the wooden floor dancing.
Everyone was having a grand old time when all of a sudden the door opened to reveal a very large white pony. She had both wings and a horn. Her mane was a rainbow of colors blowing in an invisible wind. Her cutie mark was a picture of the sun.
In an instant of her arrival the music cut off and all of the ponies were bowing. I decide that it would be better if I join them and bow.
This must be the princess that Twilight spoke so fond of. Finally I can get out of here, and continue my job of rescuing my ….
“Princess Celestia!!!” Twilight yelled in glee as she ran up to her mentor.
“Twilight Sparkle, my prized student, it is so nice to see you again.” She said as she motherly nuzzled Twilight.
“So where is this stallion that you spoke of in your letter?” she asked looking over the crowd.
“I believe I’m the one you’re looking for Princess” I say as I slowly walk up to the princess.
“Can you follow me into the back room, I have much to discuss with you” she says as she began moving towards the double doors that lead into the kitchen.
I follow her into the kitchen. As soon as I am in the kitchen she puts a bubble of magic around us.
“Um… don’t mind my question, but what is with the bubble, your highness.”
“It is a magical sound barrier so that whatever is said in here cannot be heard.” As I see Celestia’s face contort to that of an icy cold stare.
“Now from what I was told from my student is that you were trying to get back to the planet, which you have completely failed. She said that you were trying to get back there to save the ponies that you have also failed. You didn’t act and so that the enslavement and annihilation of your kind is completely your fault.”
As she stated this I could feel anger start to well up inside of me, thank the alphas that I have been taught to control my anger and to just brush off the negativity associated with such a feeling. Part of the brushing off was also to brush off what had gotten me angry in the first place. So I start to just ignore what she was saying. It worked until she started to get harsher with the speech as she started to raise her voice.
"You know I could send you to the moon and not even feel bad about it. I sent my sister to the moon with ease, What is stopping me from sending you there and ending your life. Or I could even send you to the sun to burn up within a millisecond. You are weak and unloved, you have nothing, You are nothing compared to me. I’m big, you’re small, I’m right, you’re wrong and there’s nothing you can do about it, you failure.” With that it sent an instinctive fear jolt throughout my ponified body. So much of the instinct was to curl up on the floor and cover my head with my hoof, the instinct in my chest and hoof were overridden by fear, as I shake on the floor and wait for the end to come.
Another jolt bolts through me as my heart rate begins to rapidly increase.

As I brought her head close to Ace I could see how much I had frightened him. I immediately began to think that it wasn’t a good idea to test how he would react while angry, which seemed like he was just able to phase through it. Yet when he was threatened to be killed without even saving his kind trying it seemed like he just completely broke down. Even laying a hoof on him afterward seemed to shake him up even more than just the words as he curled up tighter at the contact.
“I’m sorry my little alien pony, you see I was just testing to see if you were a threat to my subjects and after seeing what you do under anger and under threats. It seems to me like you are not one to harm anypony. Please forgive my harsh behavior, but it was necessary.”
This seemed to calm Ace as he uncurled and brought his head up while his shaking has slowed to a stop.
Ace viewpoint
“Now I have a few questions that will help me get you back to where you belong.” She says as she takes a seat on the floor next to me draping a wing around my still shivering form.
“First question, How did you get here, was it technological or magical.” She said in her motherly like tone, yet with a side of interest.
“I think it was technological, because I was thrown into this big metal box. When I awoke the box was shaking violently and I found the door to it. I saw that it was on a meteor and was coming for a crash course with a lake and I jumped.” I said making sure to sparing no detail in hope that it would help me get back.
Looking at Celestia as she seemed to grow to a sorrow filled look as the motherly smile was replaced with a small frown.
“I don’t know how I am going to say this,” she starts off “But if it were magic we would be able to help you get home”
Seeing that she was having a tough time saying it I decide to help her “Since it is technological, what you’re saying is I’m stuck here with nothing.”
“I am afraid so, I am sorry that I have not been able to be of more assistance. If you need anything do not be afraid to ask.” She says as she gets back on her hooves, removes the sound deafening bubble, and starts heading through the kitchen doors.
“Now I must return to Canterlot, once again I apologize for not being able to assist you more.” With that she is gone. Deciding that I should get back to the party, I was quickly approached by Twilight.
“So is the Princess going to be able to help you get back home?” she asks with
“Nope, it seems that I am stuck here”
“I am really sorry to hear that, if you need anything you can come to me. Well I must get going, since I have to open the library at dawn and it’s already 8 o’clock.” She says as she to walks out the door.
I need to get some fresh air to help me get used to the idea of me being stuck here and help push this to the back on my mind.
I walk out into the night to get a breath of fresh air. The night is silent except for the house behind me blasting music. I finally have time to think today without any interruptions. Sitting on a nearby bench I start to mull over everything that has transpired today.
I’m on a new world. No way to get back and save my species. No way to see my team and help them lead the world to freedom. Everything I worked for gone.
*sigh* to come so close and lose it all. Maybe the princess is right, I have failed everyone. My team is probably dead without an effective leader. My species, probably completely enslaved and it’s entirely my fault.
Hanging my head as I start to think about the promises I have made on that planet
I am sorry Emma, I told you I would avenge you and I failed. I am a terrible dog…pony…whatever I am now due to this fucking magical world. I wasn’t able to keep my promises. I am sorry everybody, I have failed you all.
With those words I start to feel tears well up in my eyes, stinging sensation in the back of my throat and another knot in my stomach. Little did I know that there was a blue mare walking out of the house to come check up on me, after the little talk with Celestia.
“Hey there big guy, why are you outside all alone, when there is a party inside all for you?”
Turning away I quickly try to hide the fact that I am releasing sadness. The act only made her realize that I am crying
“Ace, what’s the matter?” she asked with worry eminent in her voice.
“Nothing Rainbow nothing,” Choking out the words as they mixed with tears.
“Come on Ace, ponies don’t get sappy like this over nothing.”
“Have youever come so close to a goal only to have it all take away from you” Stating moving into an almost inaudible tone.
“What was that?” she asks moving closer to me
Shit why did I say that now I am going to need to come up with a convincing lie. Damn my stupid fucking conscience. Hope this works
“I said have you ever seen such beauty as the night sky?” Hoping that she didn’t notice my nose scrunching up due to the lie I just told.
Looking into her eyes told me that she wasn’t buying it. She relented probably figuring she would find out what it was about later, from Twilight.
“Well it’s out every night, now how about we get back into the party?” Looking back at the night one last time before taking rainbows advice I head back to the party.
Going back into the party where noticeably less ponies was still on the floor dancing. I also notice that the pink punch had been switched to something in a water barrel. Still in distance for rainbow to hear my question, so I decided to ask her about it.
“Hey Rainbow, what is the barrels, is it something that can help to relieve some stress.”
“Yeah that is Applejack’s alcoholic cider; she just pulled it out just a few minutes ago, when all the foals and their parents left.”
Wow, that's a new word, alcoholic
“What is al-alcoholic mean”
“wow you never had alcohol, beer, hard cider?”
“Nope never have, it is not a thing where I come from, is it good?”
Rainbow face just dawned at the prospect of getting the alien drunk and seeing the result of what would happen.
“Yeah let’s go get some.” She says as she walks towards the barrel with you in tow. As you approach the barrel she hoofs you a cup full of yellowy liquid.
Holding up the cup I say “Over the Teeth and past the gums, look out stomach here it comes,” eliciting a small chuckle from rainbow. The moment the substance touches my lips I can taste sweet apples with something very, very bitter to the taste, almost making me spit it out. I just barely manage to swallow the stuff. A few moments later I can feel my vision start to swim and my balance became unsteady.
Rainbow’s perspective
Seeing Ace get the very first tastes of alcohol was entertaining. I began to chuckle at the act that I had done. “heh, lightweight.” I say as I bring the cup to my lips to chug down the rest of the cider in her cup. Deciding that it would be best to help Ace get to a seat, looking around I notice a table where the rest of my friends are sitting and helps him get the their table. As I approach an unsteady ace balanced on my side with the broken arm draped over my shoulder I put him on the seat in between Applejack and Fluttershy.
*Smack* as soon as I put him down his head smacked into the table as he fell asleep.
“Rainbow, what in tarnation happened ta Ace” Applejack voiced her concern.
“I may, or may not have given him your cider, kinda funny if you ask me, because that was the very first time of him drinking, he even said that it doesn’t exist on his planet.” With that it seemed to anger Applejack.
“Why in tarnation would you give cider to a pony,” she says gesturing towards Ace “who never had cider without knowin if'n it could kill ‘im.”
Rainbow was taken aback by this but rebutted her actions. “Look at him, he looks perfectly fine, also he ate the Lemon drops with pepper and didn’t even get a mouth that felt like it was on fire. What he said is that ‘If a small heat is what you call burning, and then yes this is burning hot.’ I would think that someone who can withstand that that doesn’t need water or punch afterwards can withstand cider.”
Rarity was next to give her two cents as Fluttershy slowly drifted downward to avoid the fight.
“Rainbow, I must say that I have to agree with Applejack, It was pretty short-sighted giving Ace a substance that could have killed him without knowing if any of the ingredients were poisonous to the poor dear.”
“Hey big guy, tell these guys that you’re alright.” She said finally looking towards where the sleeping Ace should have been. All that there was there now was an empty seat.
“Oh horseapples, where did he go?” rainbow said looking at the other two mares before looking into the crowds.
During the fighting none of the mares had seen Ace stumble his way towards the DJ Booth in the corner of the room, only bumping into one mare. The next song in the set was something slower but still danceable to. As the ponies on the dance floor were getting into the song as a certain drunk stallion stumbled onto stage.
As the song went he started to sing the lyrics to the song

As Ace finishes the song he can hear clapping coming from the crowd as Ace stumbled down the stairs where he was met with Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Rainbow Dash was the first one to speak.
“Dude your drunk, and should go home, but that was awesome .”
“What *hic*but I’m *hic* not done with *hic* the party.”
“ah agree with RD, ya’ll are drunk, RD and Flutters will take ya ta her cottage, goodnight Sugarcube.”
“bah, I’m *hic* good.” As Ace said that he swayed to the right almost losing balance.
“See ya are drunk.”
“But” Ace was silenced by the glares he was getting by the four “Fine, let’s *hic* go,”
Viewpoint of Fluttershy
As Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy led a drunken Ace out the doors through the town to her cottage, Rainbow was talking to Fluttershy while keeping Ace’s leg over her neck.
“Hey Fluttershy, do you mind if I crash at your house, because I might be too drunk to fly home, and I want to keep an eye on this guy, to make sure he doesn’t try anything in his drunkenness.” Rainbow said eyes moving to the drunken state that Ace was in.
“Yeah, Rainbow you can stay the night, I would hate it if you got hurt, trying to fly home.”
As we got to my cottage I make sure that Ace has a pillow and have rainbow place him on the lime green couch in a position in which doesn’t aggravate his injuries. As I was about to go upstairs I heard whimpering coming from Ace. As I walk up to Ace I could see that he was indeed crying in his sleep as a very clear “Emma” left his mouth as the whimpering continued.
He’s having a nightmare. What should I do, if I wake him up he might hate me for waking him. If I don’t he might move into a new position and hurt himself even more. * sigh *I need to wake him up so he doesn’t hurt himself.
As I was about to shake him from his nightmare Ace twitched in his sleep, and moved into a new position. I got scared and jumped behind the chair on the other side of the room. Drawing my courage I found myself once again on the side of Ace.
“Um…Ace…if you don’t mind could you wake up?” I said as I started to poke Ace’s side.
As Ace’s whimpering continued he let out a clear sentence “’M surry... fail you.”

Ace’s dream
The sun on Canis was setting on the horizon. The colors cascading the sky, was enough to comfort any dog. The intensity of the last rays of light for the day, were like a giant romantic fire in the sky. The clouds were cascaded in a yellow, as if they were made of gold. The scenery was as if a symphony was approaching the end of a song by quieting down. It seemed as more of the sun went down, the intensity of the beauty increased. The grass and trees were casting large shadows, as the sun was setting.
Under such a beautiful sight were Ace and Emma. Emma was lying on her side with her legs neatly curled up to her body. Her bushy frozen fire tail was curled along her body, the tip just touching her back legs. Ace was lying in the same position, but had his head nestled on her soft neck. They were lying on the baby blue, mahogany porch in the front of their two story house. The neighborhood noise was dying, as parents put their puppies to bed for the night. All in all, it was peaceful.
“Happy 23rd Birthday sweetie,” Emma said in her usual silvery voice.
“Thanks," *sigh * "Can you believe our wedding is a week away.” I reply, while still keeping my head on her.
“Yeah, I'm excited, nervous, and scared, I mean, what if something goes wrong?”
“How would it happen, we have preplanned everything down to the final step, minute for minute. All thanks to the most organized, beautiful dog I have ever laid my eyes on.”
Picking her head up, she pushed me playfully with her paw she said, “Ooooh you.”
We stayed on the porch talking until about an hour after the sun had set and the nickel-silver, mysterious orb that is the moon, was starting to peek through the holes in the now dark and silvery colored clouds. The stars were starting the paint the sky in their magnificent arrangement of constellations. The colors of space barely being visible through the numerous clouds, were also showing there beauty.
“Wow, isn’t the night the most beautiful part of the day?” Emma stated while looking at the stars.
“I have to agree for two reasons. One, it involves sleep. Two, if we need to go hunting, I can blend in with the surroundings.” After stating that sentence I look at Emma with a slight grin, knowing that not mentioning her reason to be one of her pet peeves.
“You know what I mean Ace.” She deadpanned “You know I mean the moon, and space in general.”
Fell for it chase, leap, and killer.
“Yeah, I know,” I said starting to chuckle lightly “I just love that face you make.”
“Well Hardy-Har Har, Mr.” she says as a devious smirk works its way across her snout.

“Padfoot!!” she started laughing knowing that I hated my birth given name. My entire face turned red in a matter of seconds from embarrassment.
“Fine I get it, you win.” I stated as I started to join in the contagious laughter Emma had.
After a few minutes our laughter reduced to chuckles at the stupid name. I don’t know what my parents were thinking by giving me that name. It was just until a few years ago that I have legally changed my name to Commando, so that it is similar to my commander role in the hound military.
“Well, we should probably go inside and head to bed.” I suggested as it was already around 9 o’clock based on the position of the moon.
“Good idea, since we have to go and set up a few of the final touches for the wedding.” She stated as she walked through the front door.
“I thought we had everything we needed for the wedding. What could possibly be left?” I questioned as I follow her through the house to our bedroom crossing over the tan colored, scruffy carpet.
“Well, there are still some essentials that I know I told you about, like for instance, the suit and dress we will be wearing.”
I was about to say something about me wearing a suit, but she beat me to it. “And don’t say your not wearing a suit, it would look nice on you.”
“Alright fine, I will wear a suit.” As we approach our bedroom I decide to state the truth under my breath hoping she didn’t hear it.
“Bridezilla.” Unfortunately for me she did hear it.
“WHAT!, What did you just say?!” Emma said stopping in her tracks. Turning around I saw she was seething with rage.
“I said I love you, and I will be glad to wear a suit.” I replied, hoping she was in a good mood so that, I am not sent to the place all bad husbands call bed. the Couch. It was very lumpy, and was difficult to find a comfortable place to sleep on.
“That’s what I thought you said!” She said as we finally reached our bedroom.
The bedroom was furnished with two mahogany dressers that were hell to get upstairs. There was a black bedside lamp for bedtime reading and a few pictures decorating the walls. Most of them is from our time together in various places like Colliewood. In the corner was the red and white electric guitar that I played in my free time to help get my mind off of things. I have been playing it a lot recently, mainly to help get focused on the things I needed to do for the wedding. Things like make and mail invitations, order the cake and silverware, and order the food.

As she started to get into bed, I had that feeling, you know the feeling where you have to go to the bathroom and relieve yourself.
“Honey, I'll be back, I need to go to the bathroom.”
"Hurry back sexy boy,"she said in a sultry voice with half lidded eyes. The next thing I see that she is pulling something from the bedside table. When she turns around, she had the collar in her mouth. It was a black spike collar only used for mating sessions. She tossed the collar towards me. “Hurry back and join your master, pet."
It was true, since the dogs on Canis only mated with one dam, we're bound to the ones that took our first lay. It was the culture beaten into us at a young age, which males were supposed to become subservient to our dam counterparts.
With much speed I rush downstairs to release my bladder.
While downstairs I thought heard a window upstairs smash and stopped midstream. I listened and heard nothing, so I brushed it off and continued relieving myself. When I came to the stairs I swore I heard muffled screaming and a flapping sound. I rushed up the stairs very worried that something has happened. When I got to the top of the stairs, I notice that the window was indeed broken, glass covering the carpet by the window. Some of the pictures were knocked on the ground showing signs of a struggle, and the flapping was the royal blue curtains fluttering in the wind.
On the outside of the window on the roof was what looked like a dog only it was larger than any breed I have seen. In place of its paws was just a solid hardened part of its leg. Its coat was a midnight blue and its ears were standing up. In its legs was my wife, a muzzle was on her mouth muffling her screaming. I could see the fear in her eyes and it pained me to see it. I ran to get to my wife and beat the creature to death.
Before I got to the window the creature hopped off the roof and a loud smack was heard as they hit the dirt road outside. I immediately made a mad dash for the door all while thinking
What the fuck does that fucking piece of shit think it’s doing. When I’m done with it, it will be lucky to even be identified as whatever it is among it’s comrades.
Finally making it outside, I notice that there are four more of these things all standing around Emma while the one that had taken her from the bed has started to pummel her in the street. That only made the anger that was already building inside to intensify. I tried to get to the one that was pummeling her. I made a mad dash and tried to jump over the alien creature, but while in midair the creature turned around and bucked me in the chest sending me back to the side of the road. I arose from the ground.
I don’t know what these fuckers want, but I'm going to have to kick these guys' asses, in order to get to her.
I quickly put together a strategic method of attack.
As quick as lightning I ran straight at the one that kicked me. He reared up again, but this time I was ready for it. When he kicked I jumped to the left and tackled the ‘guard’ near him to the ground. Quickly rolling off of him, I turn to the one doing the pummeling and tried to tackle him to the ground only to be tackled by another one of those things. He started to attack me and I could hear the hits from ‘what appeared to be their leader’s leg come down on Emma.
That only fueled the anger as I brought my knees up and flipped the alien from my body before he could make another blow, and threw him a few feet away. Before I got up I was grabbed by the two other ‘guards’. They had somehow grabbed my legs and held them with theirs. I tried to escape only for them to grab on tighter.
*Smack Smack Smack* I had to literally watch as they beat Emma. There was a wet spot on the front of the muzzle. She was covered in cuts. Her fur was matted down with the free flowing blood, and she whimpering in pain.
”WHY… Why the fuck are you bastards doing this…We did nothing to you. Stop…Please…Stop,” I tried to beg.
“Shut Up, you have no right to talk,” The guard I threw said.
At that moment the one pummeling Emma had picked her up and put her head in his legs.
“NOOOO… please.. please… take me…. Just leave her be… please..” I tried pleading. Only to be hit in the ribs.
Unfortunately, those pleads fell on deaf ears. the leader started to apply pressure in a twisting motion. All I could do was watch. The look of total horror in her bruised eyes told the whole story. She was barely able to stay awake and was whimpering in pain. It sent pain through my entire body.
*CRACK* The sound of Emma’s neck made me feel completely cold. As shivers were sent down my spine I wanted to cry, but no tears came. I felt sick. I felt weak, as I watch her now deceased body flop down to the cold hard road.

A few seconds later, I could literally feel my blood course through my veins, my heart pump faster. It seemed as if time slowed down, as I start to lose control over my senses. I could feel the strength return to me tenfold. I felt something really heavy. It was as if, I was given a three hundred pound blanket to carry, that covered my entire body.
”ALRIGHT YOUR TURN,” the guard that just became the target of death himself said.
As he neared to start beating me I used the legs holding mine as leverage. I flipped forward and landed a shot to his temple with my free back legs, and he went down. I turned my attention to the ones holding me and stepped backwards. They tried to hold me, but I began biting them with all the force I could. I kept biting them until I freed myself only to be kicked in the side by one of them. The kick sent me a few feet to the side of the street.
“YOU FUCKERS DECIDED IT WAS A GOOD DAY TO DIE WHEN YOU FUCKING KILLED EMMA. NOW YOU BASTARDS SHALL FEEL THE WRATH OF THE ALPHAS UPON YOU!!!!”
They tried to kick me again only to have me jump on one of their backs. The two on the side tried jumping at me only to meet each other as I jumped off the alien just in time. Their heads collided and they fell to a sitting position on the ground. I turn to the one I was just standing on. He brought his forelegs up to try and kick me. I tackled him to the ground. Still feeling the presence in me I jumped on his neck and brought my teeth down onto it, as if driven by a thousand year old instinct. I bit down on a particularly soft part of his neck with all of my force.
I kept biting down repeatedly with as much force as I could until I could no longer feel a pulse. This was only a few seconds in comparison.
As I jumped off the dead alien, I turn to see the other two running towards me with a lot of speed.
If being a commander of a military has taught anything it is how to use the opponents’ weakness and make them suffer. I could now tell that these aliens had easily penetrable coats.
When they neared he jumped out of the way and ran to tackle them from the side. Successfully knocking one into the other, they both went down. During their time on the ground I took the opportune time to kill another.
Walking around to the final alien I decided that I would have military grade A fun with him. I grabbed a nearby rock about the size of his leg and smashed his knees by using the rock as a makeshift hammer. Starting to pummel him I could easily start to see the blood start flowing. I went to grab another weapon, when I turned around I could see that he was struggling to crawl. Blood was flowing from his mouth and nose leaving a trail on the ground beneath him. The weird thing was I actually enjoyed it. Deciding to just release him from his misery and went up to him and quickly snapped his neck.

As the adrenaline left my body I could feel the pain start to build. Like a wildfire it quickly spread throughout my body. It pained me to even move.
Only one thought ran through my mind EMMA .
I gathered my strength and limped over to the corpse that was my wife. Noticing that most of the other houses also had broken windows and doors were knocked down. Passing by the one who killed her I spit in his face.

Finally coming to her the first thing i do i remove the muzzle that hid a lot of the damage. Finally seeing that beautiful face I see that the wet spots were indeed blood flowing from her mouth and nose. Like a puppy I start asking her to wake up in hope of some kind of miracle to happen
“Emma.. Emma please you have to open your eyes. Come on you have to get up." I say as I push her blood covered head with mine. "It's Time to wake up now." Once again pushing her head to the side. "I can’t live without you; you were my first friend, my best friend. I-I love you, I pro-promised I would p-protect you f-from harm." I say as tears start to run, and a knot in my stomach got much worse, I choked out the words. "I'm sorry Emma, I ha-have com-completely failed you."
Um..Ace..if you don't mind could you wake up."
A very faint voice was heard yet I completely ignored it as I was nuzzling Emma
"I-I'm sorry, I have f-f-failed you my love."
I just fall there my body over hers not even trying to fight back the sadness that had now overtaken the pain. I put my neck over hers for what ‘pained me to say’ for the last time.

Then darkness overtook my dream as I was starting to wake up from slumber. I feel a slight poking at my side right beside my injuries. After a few moments fighting to open my eyes, I release a tired yawn as my vision is a blurry combination of green and brown. When I fully awake, I see that it is still nighttime and that the poking was coming from Fluttershy to my right looking at me with worry in her eyes.
“I’m sorry for waking you up, but you were having a nightmare, and I was afraid that you were going to hurt yourself. You understand don’t you, please don’t hate me.”
Trying to remember what had happened last night was rather difficult. All I can remember is something about lights, ponies, and music.
Ace groaned as a headache seemed to take hold of him. "What in the name of the Alphas, happened last night?” I say rubbing my head hoping to reduce the growing headache and getting a full explanation of what happened, why I’m here, and how did I get here all at the same time.
“Well.. you see.. , you kinda got drunk off the cider, went up on stage, sang. Rainbow dragged you halfway across town, and dropped you on the couch, before going to sleep in the guest room.” Fluttershy replied
With that Ace started stretching like most dogs do in the morning. You know where they have their front half of their bodies down to stretch their backs, eventually moving to their back legs. Well to Ace this was perfectly natural to do this with his eyes closed, But for Ponies it was something completely different. For ponies this was something stallions did, when they were trying to stud a mare.
As Ace continued his stretches he didn’t notice Fluttershy’s face quickly turning a shade of pink and increasing to a shade of deep red as he continued.
As Ace got to a certain point of stretching his back he felt a very sharp pain course through his midsection. The pain was too much for Ace to bear; he collapsed on the couch hissing in pain. As he hit the couch his leg had also begun to also course with pain.
Seeing Ace in pain seemed to be what snapped Fluttershy out of her thoughts, and into the caretaker state she is in, when an injured animal comes to her.
“Ace, please lay down, I will get you some medicine to help numb the pain.”
“No, I’m fine just overexerted myself.” Ace said through gritted teeth.
“No, you are in pain; otherwise you wouldn’t have fallen back onto my couch. You will take the medicine.”
“No I am not going to take it, since I don’t need it.”
Not wanting to fight, and knowing that Ace needed quick medical attention so that the injuries didn't worsen, she decided to pull out her greatest weapon. ‘The Stare.’ The disapproving eyes of the Pegasus seemed to work on animals when they needed medical attention, and she had yet to see the effects of it upon another living pony.
Ace looked into her eyes as she stared. He seemed to shrink under her unrelenting gaze.
“Ace, you will allow me to mend you injuries.”
Ace huffed “Okay, fine. You win.”
As Fluttershy ran into a small section of her cottage to bring back whatever medical supplies she needed, Ace began to think to himself. How the fuck did that scare me. I have gone through war, and had to fight to live, yet those eyes. Those disapproving eyes, how in the Alpha’s silvery coats do those eyes scare. I have become a big fucking wimp since coming here. As Ace was busy thinking he didn’t notice Fluttershy returning with the medical kit in mouth.
Fluttershy opened the kit and pulled out what looked like a baby blue flower with ruby red thorns.
“Here, this should be able to help you with the pain.”
Listening to Fluttershy, Ace quickly took the bud off of the flower. After a minute after eating the bud he began to feel the effects, as the pain in his leg and midsection began to dissipate.
“So did it work?”
“Yeah, thank you for that Fluttershy; you are one of the only ones I think I can truly trust about medicine.”
“I’m gonna go lie down outside and star gaze.”
Ace said as stepped off the couch cautiously for he didn’t want another incident he had just a few moments ago. Fluttershy was worried, since whimpering was something ponies only did when having a truly, terrifying nightmare, and that if she didn’t at least ask about it now, he might not get back to sleep. But unbeknownst to her, Ace has been having these nightmares every single night since it happened, and Ace didn’t want others to know about these dreams, for they might give a teary eyed sympathy for him.
“Um… if it’s alright with you, would you like to talk about your nightmare, I mean I heard you whimpering in your sleep and you saying you failed somepony.”
After hearing this it reminded Ace of the nightmare that he had just endured about his very final moments with his beloved Emma. It was a very painful memory for him to even remember about how much of a failure he was. The pain was clearly visible on Ace’s face.
Fluttershy was about to apologize before Ace cut her off. “If it’s all the same to you,” *sigh* “This is something that I need to deal with alone.” With that Ace went through the front door of the cottage leaving Fluttershy to wonder ‘what happened to him in that dream.’ She didn’t want to press upon matters like this as it would usually end up with raising voices and arguments. She didn’t want to put more on his plate since finding out that he was stuck here for the rest of his life.
Now when Ace said that the night was beautiful earlier, he meant it. The night sky was as beautiful as Ace had remembered it being on Canis, yet nothing he saw seemed to really help, he felt incomplete, like he was only half of what he used to be.
There was no night Canis ever since the great massacre of Wolverhamperton. There was only blood day and day. We called it blood day because without the sun the sky would turn a deep shade of red, that only served as a reminder of those we have lost in the fight.
We have deduced that the sky had turned red because with the more of us that were dying the planet was also dying, because of the deep bond that each of us shared with the planet. The water flowed through our bodies; the meat gave us strength to fight. In return we planted more trees to appease the planet. The circle of life was in its course. Yet when you halt the circle everything slowly dies. When the horses caught more of us they killed those who were impregnated with puppies, they killed those who were too weak to work, young and old both fell to the hooves of the overlords. With that much death, and no births, the planet was losing the strength it once had because of the broken bonds.
Ace sat outside for a few hours looking at the night presented before him. Behind him, the door to the cottage opened as Rainbow Dash came walking out.
“Hey Ace, what are you doing up at this time?”
“Well Rainbow Dash, this is the time I use to think, this time I'm everything I am going to need to do in order to adjust to living here properly: like buying food, buying a house, and so on. What are you doing up?”
“I have work today, and don’t worry about all of that stuff, you have us. If and when you need help, you know that we will be there.” Rainbow dash stated with certainty.
“Thanks, Rainbow Dash, it means a lot.” Ace stated as a warm feeling washed over him. For the first time in what seemed like forever, he had felt a warmth around his heart. He felt that if he was stuck here he would actually be kind of okay with it. Yet if he learned the culture, it would be a fucking miracle, because he not only disliked having to learn new things, he disliked having to learn everything all over again.
The night sky’s full, nickel-silver moon was starting to descend from the night sky as night was turning into day. The remaining stars were nearing the end and were starting to disappear. The colors of space barely being visible anymore as the day approached and the sun was starting to come up bathing the sky in a barrage of colors.
“What do you do, as it pertains to your job?”
“Well I’m the leader of the Ponyville Weather team, I have to manage the other’s while maintaining the correct weather forecasted, speaking of which I have to go or else I’ll be late.”
Rainbow flew off into the sky leaving Ace there staring in awe and finding out that their weather doesn’t operate without Pegasi, before going inside to clean Fluttershy's cottage.
As Ace was finishing the cleaning, he heard Fluttershy’s yawn signaling her awakening. Walking downstairs Fluttershy notices a completely clean cottage from dusted shelves, to a swept wooden floor. Her little animal friends chirping and chattering to themselves as a tired Ace walks from the kitchen.
“Um..Ace, Thank you for cleaning, you didn’t have to clean…I mean I was going to get to do it… don’t mind my question, ...um why did you clean?” Fluttershy asked as she was about to hide behind her mane.
“Well the answer is it's a culture thing."
Fluttershy seemed to accept this as she still knew very little of Ace's home planet. She trotted into the kitchen to make breakfast for her, her animal friends and Ace as thanks for cleaning.
“Hey Fluttershy, I’m going to go to Twilight’s, if you don’t need any help around here.” Ace called into the kitchen.
The walk over to Twilight’s library was rather difficult, not because of the injuries, but because I didn’t even know where it was. Well, I’m lost, and there is no way in the four large paws of an Alpha am I going to ask for directions, that would be more painful than being neutered.
So I decided to just keep exploring until I found the Library, which is really odd since, it’s a damn tree after all. Still wandering after what seemed like an hour I hear a high speed flapping sound. I just chose to ignore it. Which it turns out was a terrible idea.
“LOOOOOK OOOUUUT” yelled a voice coming from behind me.
Turning around I notice three fillies on a scooter speeding towards me. They were moving at such a speed that it would be impossible for them to stop in time. I was so terrified that, I just stood there like a puppy caught in a lightning storm.
*Crash* *Thud* we collided in the middle of the road, me falling onto my injured ribs once more eliciting a yelp from me. They fared no better. When the scooter made contact they were sent flying and rolling onto the dirt path in front of them. When they sat up it was evident that they were dizzy from their small flight.
It was a few seconds before we got back up onto all fours. One thing I notice is that there was a group of ponies looking on to see if we were alright, or they were just asses that needed to be kicked, Haven’t decided yet. An orange Pegasus filly with a purple mane was first to speak.
“Why’d you just stand there, we said look out?” she yelled
A yellow pony standing next to her kicked her with her back hoof and apologized for her.
“Ah think, what she means is, are ya alright, mister?”
“Yeah, I’m alright, if I may ask, why were you speeding through town?”
This time a white filly whose hair reminded me of Rarity spoke up.
“We’re on our way to the library to get a book for a project we need for school. Why are you in town?”
“Well you see, I was going to try and find out where the library was, so that I could speak to twilight.”
“Well, how about you follow us there.” The white filly offered.
“That’s if he can even keep up.” the orange filly grumbled under her breath.
"Don't mind her, she's just mad that this assignment made us miss a Pinkie Party"
"Can we just get going so we can finish this stupid assignment." The orange filly whined.
with that we continued on our way to the library. I must have been more lost than I thought, because it took us twenty minutes of walking to even see the treehouse in the distance. Deciding it would probably be best to introduce myself I
“Well then I guess I should introduce myself, I’m Ace, and I’m new in town.”
The Yellow filly, who seemed to be the leader of the group, spoke up to introduce the three.
Waving a hoof in front of the white one “This here is Sweetie Bell.”
Moving onto the Orange little filly prick “This is Scootaloo.”
“and ah’m Apple Bloom.” She said as Scootaloo fluttered her wings to move forward
"Hey get back here, it's not supposed to rain today." bellowed a voice from above. looking up Ace and notices Rainbow Dash chasing a rain cloud. When she finally caught up to it, the stored rain was released, drenching Ace and the crusaders.
"Sorry about that, sorta lost track of this cloud when I was setting up the weather."
Seeing Ace completely soaked again because of a 'stray' rain that she 'lost' Rainbow started to blush as Ace's mane clung to his neck. He was about to question about it, before being cut off by the orange filly.
"Rainbow Dash!!!"
"Hey what are you squirts up to?"
"Well we're taking the new guy to the library, so that we can finish a school project and he can talk to twilight wanna come?"
Doing a pony version of a shrug Rainbow stated "Eh sure, why not. I have nothing better to do."
As Rainbow finished she and the Crusaders were attacked along with everypony around them by a barrage of water droplets emanating from the shaking Ace. When he finished he was only half wet, no longer dripping he was still trying to ring out his mane and tail, he couldn't help the now exasperated look on everypony's face. Every pony except a female pony only a few feet away from Ace who had a certain half lidded look in her eyes.
Nervously chuckling Ace said "Sorry, I wanted to get dry after an 'incident'," Ace put emphasis on the word incident while looking in rainbows general direction. "With a rain cloud, I am truly sorry."
Everypony seemed to accept this apology as they went on their way leaving everypony except the mare. This mare was a female Pegasus pony with a wisteria coat, pink lace mane and tail with baby pink streaks.
"Hey what's a handsome stud like you doing outside shouldn't you be in a bedroom by now?" She said with a sultry smile walking up to Ace.
"Uhhhhh. what's that supposed to mean?" obviously confused of what she was doing. Rainbow Dash seemed furious at what this mare was doing.
"What the buck are you doing Rainbowshine!?"
"Oh, Rainbow Dash, why don't you find your own stallion, this one's mine." Shine said as she wrapped a wing around Ace's midsection feathers just grazing his spinal column, causing Ace to jump on contact.
Rainbow Dash had seen enough. she flew up and grabbed Rainbowshine by the tail, and pulled her away from Ace.
"Stay Away from him! If I see you touch him like that again, you'll be lucky if I don't tear your wings off!" Rainbow yelled as Rainbowshine quickly gained distance until finally slowing to a walk.
As she started walking away she had swayed her hips from side to side more than probably necessary, Ace couldn't take his eyes off the sight. Right before she was out of eye sight she took one last look at the stallion she was determined to make hers. Seeing that he was staring at her, she had put on a grin before disappearing from sight. Ace shook his head trying to get the images out of his head, and making note to watch that mare very closely.

After Shine ran off Rainbow turned to Ace and gave him a dead pan look
"Look I don't know how things are on your planet, but you never let a mare touch you like that, because it will lead to a very bad situation if your not careful." Rainbow had whispered to Ace, just loud enough for him to hear or so she thought.
*Gasp* "Your from a different planet." They said in unison
Ace threw an angry look over at Rainbow, who only gave a guilty smile. Turning back to the fillies, he softened his facial expression and lowered his head to meet their eye level.
"Can you all keep this a secret?" Ace asked in a very low whisper. As the crusaders nodded, Ace did reveal he was from another planet. With that the fillies were rattling off questions faster than Ace's brain could process. The few that Ace was able to pick up and answer were about him not having a cutie mark, if he is part of an invasion group, and how long he will be staying here, all while walking or scooting towards the library.
As we approached Twilight's A flashback of what had happened a few minutes ago with that mare raced through Ace's mind. Why did she refer to me as her stallion. Does she believe that she has any kind of ownership over me or something. And why was Rainbow so defensive over me, I mean the wing thing was nice until the feathers grazed my spine. what does it mean, when someone has their wing around someone else.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, why did that mare from be-"
"ACE!!!" Before Ace could finish his sentence he heard his name being called. Looking off to the right he sees Twilight and Fluttershy running towards the group.
"I was looking for you all morning, you see I got a letter from Princess Celestia," She used her magic to levitate a scroll out of her pack and over to Ace. "It's addressed to you."
Ace opened the scroll, and began to read out loud out of habit.
"Dear Ace,
Hello, my newest little pony. I hope that you are enjoying your time in Ponyville and that my Twilight Sparkle and her friends are helping you adjust. Again, I am sorry that aid you in returning to Canis. And I am terribly sorry for your loss, Em-," His eyes widened in shock and disbelief at what he just read. No... No, no, no, No! How!? How the Fuck does she know that name!? There's no fucking way that she could know anything about Emma!!
From where everypony was standing, they could see the letter lightly tremble in his hooves, thinking that something written on it made him sad, but they were wrong. If they could glance past the letter, they'd see it. The look in his eyes, set ablaze, fueled by an unadulterated rage.
Ace continued reading, this time however, to himself. "Emma did not deserve that, nor did the rest of your race. Nopony deserves that kind of tragedy. Undoubtedly, you will have questions as to how I know this, but forgive me, for I wish to only speak of this in private." Damn Right I got some fucking questions! That Bitch has got some explaining to... Before he could finish his thought, his eyes caught something odd about the next part of the still shaking letter. A small blotch on the paper, a sign of water damage. Without reading, he scrolled down the paper, only to find more. Wiping his eyes, he was washed over by a wave of confusion. Dry? But... Realization struck and the shaking stopped. Ace stood there, holding a letter from Princess Celestia, stained by her tears.
The letter went on, "Please understand. It weighs heavily on my heart that one of my little ponies is forced to live with such pain while I am able to do little to nothing in order to help. If ever you need anything of me, be it favor or advice, please, do not hesitate to ask." Ace took a moment to process this. She... She cried for me. I'm not one of her ponies... I'm not even from this world... and she still cried. I... I... Great. Now I feel like a fucking dick. With a sigh, his anger washed away and continued reading. "If I guessed correctly, then you stopped reading this out loud when you reached Emma's name. Little do you know, this was a very wise decision. I love Twilight and her friends with all my heart, but Pinkie Pie can be... enthusiastic at times. I believe that I do not need to ask this of you, but I would like for this information to stay between us, until you feel that it is time for the girls to know, of coarse. You may resume reading aloud after this sentence, for it pertains to both you and my student. Ace lowered the paper from his face, his smile revealed for all to see.
"Um... Ace?"
His ears perked up, turning to face Fluttershy, "Yes?"
"Oh, um... I hope you don't mind me asking, but you stopped reading and your hooves were shaking. Is something wrong?"
"No. It's fine, just the princess giving me some consoling words." Fluttershy opened her mouth, but was stopped by Ace raising his hoof. "Hang on a second, please. There's more and it seems important."
"Well?" Dash asked impatiently. "If it's important, then spit it out. We wanna know!"
"Yeah!" The crusaders chimed in.
Ace looked back towards the cream pegasus who was giving him a sweet smile. "It's ok. It can wait."
He nodded and continued to read aloud. "Accompanying this letter is a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala. I have high hopes that you will attend. Lastly, with you being new to this world, I would like for you to start sending me friendship reports, Twilight will explain. I hope that you enjoy your stay in Ponyville.

P.S. I think that Padfoot is a very cute name." By the time he realized what happened, it was too late to stop himself.
"Who's Padfoot?" Scootaloo asked.
"Why are ya'll blushin?" Apple Bloom added.
"She's right. It is a cute name." Sweetie said happily. The other fillies gave her a deadpanned stare. "What?"
"Hey Ace," His ears drooped back at the cyan mare's voice. "The fillies asked you a question," She paused. "Well, two of them did anyway. So? Who's Padfoot?"
Ace lowered his head slightly and looked at the ground. Fluttershy placed a reassuring hoof on his shoulders, "It's ok. You don't have to answer, if you don't want to." Ace looked at the others, before he looked back at Fluttershy, who still had her sweet smile.
He took a deep breath and sighed, "You all know my name, right?" They nodded. "Well, it's Ace..." He paused. "Ace Padfoot." He didn't need to guess what would happen next, he knew what would happen. It always happened. Suddenly, everypony's attention was drawn to the two pegasi rolling around in the dirt , laughing their flanks off. Applebloom and Sweetie shot a disappointed glare at Scootaloo, while Twilight and Fluttershy did the same to Rainbow Dash.
"Scootaloo!" Sweetie yelled.
The filly instantly stopped laughing and sat up to look at her friends. "What?"
"Ya can't jus' laugh at somepony jus' cuz their name's kinda funny!"
"Oh... uh, sorry."
"The girls are right, Dash." Twilight added. "While his name may sound strange to us, you have to remember that he's from another world. That could be a perfectly fine name where he's from."
"Not exactly." Rainbow finally stopped laughing as all eyes fell on Ace. "Folks back home used to ridicule me for it as well." His eyes closed as he sat on his haunches and hung his head in shame. Before he knew what was happening, Ace was swept up in a gentle hug by Fluttershy and the crusaders.
"Used to?" Twilight asked.
Ace tried to struggle free, but they wouldn't let up. He sighed in defeat. "Yeah, used to. I got sick and tired of getting laughed at so I had my name changed to Commando. Now that that's out of the way, can l have my legs back?" He chuckled. They all let go of Ace, the fillies giggling while Fluttershy stepped back blushing madly. "And I have some questions about this... " He paused and looked back at the letter. "Grand Galloping Gala?"
"Oh, that reminds me, I still have your ticket." A golden ticket floated out of her saddlebags. "Would you like me to hold onto it for safe keeping?" He nodded.
"Quick question, what's the Grand Galloping Gala?"
"Oh it's a formal ball that happens once a year, and is located in the castle. It is the most premier event in all of Equestria."
"Yyyeahh, after hearing that, I definitely don't want to go."
"Why, a dance would be fun." twilight rebutted
"I don't like dances, since I don't even know how to dance."
At this moment Rainbow Dash got into the conversation.
"Well there are more things than dancing."
"Like what?"
"There's supposed to be an air show by the wonderbolts, and music."
"I'll think about it."
As the Crusaders ran into the library to get the books, that they needed for school. A few minutes later they ran out with multiple books and jumped into their wagon. Ace remembered the question he was going to ask Rainbow before Twilight and Fluttershy showed up.
"Rainbow about that question I was going to ask before, why did that mare try and claim me as hers, are males pieces of property here or something?" Ace asks as they all walk into the library.
"WHAT!!" Twilight said in shock as Twilight and Fluttershy stopped in their tracks obviously hearing Ace's question "When did that happen!?"
"Well when after me and the fillies met up with Rainbow. She was chasing a raincloud that let lose all over us and I shook most of it out, everyone around me got mad, since they have gotten wet by my drying. After apologizing this mare came and asked why I wasn't in a bedroom yet?" I don't know what she meant by that, but anyway Rainbow asked what she was doing and she replied with 'Oh, Rainbow Dash, why don't you find your own stallion, this one's mine.'After apologizing this mare came up to me and put her wing around me. It actually felt really nice, until her feathers touched my back. Which is why I'm wondering are males here property, or what would make her act like that?"
"No, males are in no way any type of property here, the only thing I can think of that would cause her to do that would be the male/female ratio." Twilight said
"Why would that cause any problems, isn't it equal here?"
"Oh, no, here it is like 3 mares for every stallion."
"Great , so I'm gonna have to watch out for all mares?"
"Wouldn't you be happy, with all those mares trying to get you?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Well, to put it simply, no. I don't like the roles being reversed, because it makes me feel like a deadbeat loser."
"Um... why?" Fluttershy asked in a near whisper
"Well, remember the culture thing I told you about this morning, well it is pretty much the same thing."
"What happened this morning?" Twilight asked.
"Oh, well... Ace cleaned my cottage." Fluttershy responded.
Turning her attention back to the prior conversation.
"Well, I guess your just going to have to get used to having the roles switched, because like it or not, you now living on this planet." Twilight said reminding Ace of his situation.
"Well If I am going to be stuck here, I think it would be best to get some questions answered, and I think that you would also like to get some answers, because if what I saw yesterday is any indication of who you are, I think your studiousness will make you want to get some more answers."
"Well I can't say that I haven't been intrigued since now it has basically been confirmed, by Celestia that you are from another world." Twilight said as she was going to a door on the main floor of the library. "I just have one quick question."
"What's the question?"
"Mind if I hook you up to a brain scanner."
"A what?"
"A brain scanner."
"What's a brain scanner?"
"Oh, it's just a simple testing device in which I put a wired dish on your head, said dish is able to get readings of certain aspects of your brain, like brain waves and magical energies, and feeds it through the wires to a large control center."
"Well alright, I don't see the danger in that."
"Great." Twilight squeed in delight. "Could you follow me, Fluttershy and Rainbow, if you want you can come as well and ask any questions that you would like, if it's alright with Ace." Twilight said as we began to descend into a deeper section of the library.
"The More the Merrier." Ace replied as he began to follow Twilight into the other room, being follow by Rainbow Dash and then Fluttershy.
This room had a large spiral staircase much like the one in the lobby of this library. In the center of the room was a table, a large metal machine with flashing lights. Next to it was a few shelves with a lot of fancy equipment that Ace has never seen before. Following Twilight over to a metal control unit with what looked like shackles sticking out of the top.
"Can you put your hooves in the locks, so I can get the most accurate results?"
The locks close as soon as my hooves were in position.
"Well it will take a few seconds for me to completely set up the helmet. So while I do that, Rainbow, Fluttershy, if you want to ask him some questions."
Rainbow was the first to speak up with "What kind of sports do you guys have?"
"Well depends on what your definition of sport is."
"A sport needs physical activity and skill." Twilight said, which completely surprised me was the fact, that she spoke in easy terminology, while putting the chords into the helmet.
"Well in that case, we had catch and Chess."
"Wow, that's it huh, what else did you guys do?"
"Well we usually sat around talking, slept in the sun, and thought of new ways to prank others, all of that was before the war though."
"I have a question... that is if it's alright with you," Fluttershy looked at Ace as she remembered last night and how he reacted. "Who's Emma?"
As those words hit Ace's ears it felt like a thousand swords just impaled themselves into his heart, before being burned inside of a roaring fire.
Sigh "She's someone that you, or anyone else, besides me, shouldn't concern yourself with." Ace replied through the pain of remembering the last time he had seen her alive and how he lost her. Even though it was almost 5 years ago, he felt like it was all his fault, since he should've done more to protect her. You know the saying 'time heals all wounds,' well that is a total lie, it's like a knife wound, though the wound heals, the scar will always remain.
While Twilight finished putting the finishing touches on the metal helmet she had placed it on Ace's head. The helmet was a big circular dish with multiple lights of red and green decorating the top. With the flick of a switch the machine started powering up, sending electricity to the helmet to start the test.
What was supposed to happen was the machine was supposed to start graphing his brain activity, but what happened is that when the electricity hit the helmet it started severely shocking Ace. As they stood in horror of what they were witnessing, Ace was being electrocuted so badly that within a few seconds foam was starting to foam at his mouth, and he couldn't get the helmet off since his hooves were locked to the unit.
"Ace!!" Rainbow said as she flew, and tore the wires out of the helmet. She looked back at Ace hoping that she stopped it in enough time, but the damage was done. Ace was convulsing on the unit his hooves were still locked to.
"Rainbow, you to fly to Ponyville Medical and get a doctor." Twilight ordered as she finally snapped back to reality. She quickly unlocked the shackles around his hooves. As he was set free his still convulsing body almost his the ground as Twilight used her magic to catch him and carry him upstairs being followed by a very worried Fluttershy.
Twilight placed Ace on the couch. "Fluttershy can you clear his airways so he can breathe, I'm going to send a letter to the princess informing her of what happened, so in case the doctor can't do anything the princess might."
Fluttershy gave a single nod accepting the task from Twilight.
