My return

A secret meeting had been called in Canterlot; the ponies attending are the Wonderbolts, the Elements of Harmony, and the Princesses. The meeting was to discuss the sudden disappearance of Kindo.

“Yesterday Kindo vanished right in front of me after sounding extremely weak.” Celestia said to start this meeting.

“Maybe he just went back into time. He has disappeared before.” Spitfire said confused about the urgency.

“Yes but never like this. He always says some form of farewell, and he never looked that drained.” Celestia answered still worried.

“Well he’s a time traveler so how could we help?” Twilight asked confused.

“I don’t know but we have to try something.” It was Luna that spoke up this time.

“Calm down everypony. Maybe he got pulled through time, it has happened before.” Cadence spoke up.

“It’s much worse that you realize.” Vectra said shortly after arriving.

“Where have you been?” Celestia asked still worried.

“Time, Princess and you where right he isn’t anywhere, it’s almost like he was pulled from time and space even the void is empty.” Vectra said looking depressed.

Kindo awoke in a very strange place that looked like a control room but he had never seen a spaceship controls like it before. There was nothing around so he assumed it should be safe enough until he heard what sounded like an alarm. After about five minutes if the annoying noise it shut off as something entered the room. It looked like the creature was looking for something.

‘Maybe I set off a proximity alarm when I arrived.’ He thought before coughing to alert the creature to his presence, after all it was its ship so it had a right to know. When he could finally see the creature it looked like a human but Kindo could tell it wasn’t.

“You took a while to arrive this time.” It said

“You’ve met me before?” he asked confused

“Hundreds of times but apparently this is the day you met me.” It answered

“Okay this isn’t the first time it has happened so as you know I’m Kindo and you are?” Kindo was trying to get to the point.

“Oh right hello I’m the Doctor.”

“What species are you?” Kindo asked still trying to clarify.

“I’m a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous.” He answered.

“Obvious question where and when am I?”

“Messaline in the year 500,000 and I need your help.”

“All right Doctor how can I help?”

“This planet is falling into a black hole. Is there any way to stop it?”

“Maybe, do my powers still work?”

“Powers, what powers?”

“Giant rainbow colored ring can I still make it?”

“Yes but how can that help?”

Kindo took off towards the black hole at extremely high speeds performing at least six Sonic Rainbooms before reaching the black hole. He used the intense gravity of the black hole to propel himself faster than ever before and when he finally got up to speed near the center. His timing had to be perfect otherwise he would fall through the black hole into the void and die. As he reached the center he performed one last Sonic Rainboom and the explosion cancelled out the implosion restarting the star.

Life in Equestria went on almost like normal since Vectra wasn’t as good at keeping alien invaders out of sight as Kindo was. She never realized how often they were being attacked in the two weeks he was gone she had to deal with seven attacks.

‘I don’t know how he does this and still has time for travelling.’ she thought when she noticed more ships arriving. ‘There’s too many of them. This planet is going to be blow out of the sky before I can stop them all.’ All of a sudden the spaceships turn around and try to fly away as the lead ship is destroyed but none of them get out of the solar system before they are all destroyed.

At the end of the explosions Vectra thought she saw Kindo before he disappeared again. Thinking it was him she checked the time vortex again and this time she saw the wrinkles from somepony leaving the vortex. Vectra leaves the vortex and finds Kindo flying in space watching a supernova. When she approaches him though he disappears and this time the vortex was still and the void was empty.

“How do I get back?” Kindo asked as he landed in the TARDIS.

“I have no idea.” The Doctor said nonchalantly.

“Great, it’s been what two weeks since I got here.”

“Yeah and you can’t get home” As the Doctor says that Kindo appears in the sky.

“Ah… perfect timing. Get me home.” Younger Kindo asked his older version.

“We just have to focus on the EoH. It gives us the power to return.”

“It’s interesting that we use that parasite to travel through time and space.”

“Actually this is a different universe entirely.”

“That is very interesting. Thanks for the help though.” Younger Kindo said as he vanished in a flash of blue light.

“He still doesn’t know does he?” Older Kindo asked the Doctor.

“Well…no not yet. I thought it best to let him enjoy his first time here.” The Doctor said sadly.

“Don’t let him enjoy it too much now.” Kindo said giving the Doctor an evil look.

“Don’t worry I will never keep you here too long.”

“I trust you Doctor but I must take my leave as well.” Kindo said before disappearing in a flash of blue light.

Kindo is flying past an enormous ball of living energy, the largest power source in existence, hidden in the dark space between universes. The void separates parallel worlds, and realities within each universe but the dark space keeps entire universes separated. To survive in the dark space requires an extremely powerful shield. The dark space is devoid of life, except the living energy, because of the gravity witch is over five million times more powerful than a black hole not to mention sometimes the energy shoots off a few trillion volts every now and then.

Passing though the dark space Kindo arrives back in his universe only to find it under attack and judging from the ships it was the dragons of Turelia. After destroying the ships Kindo left that time zone to watch his favorite event, a supernova, but he senses Vectra approaching and leaves. Kindo didn’t want to talk to Vectra especially now that he has met the Doctor and River Song since their lives were too similar for his liking.

Not ready to face the possibility of him and Vectra as a couple yet Kindo hides in the dark space in orbit around the EoH. Kindo was thinking about what he had seen in the other universe and from the looks of the dark space there could be hundreds or thousands. Kindo spent two days talking to the largest power supply in existence before he realized that he was going to be late.

Today is the day of Twilight’s coronation and everypony is excited about it, well almost everypony. There are a few who think Twilight isn't ready to be a Princess and one of them is the soon-to-be Princess herself. Twilight was barely able to manage her nerves as she made her acceptance speech to almost all of Equestria. Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were there to watch along with the other Elements of Harmony but of all the ponies watching one pony went unseen, unseen but not ignored.

“I’m surprised you’re here.” Celestia whispered as the Elements of Harmony walked onto the platform.

“I was at every royal coronation. Why would I miss this one?” Kindo whispered.

“You weren't there for mine.” Cadence whispered with a tinge of disappointment in her voice.

“Yes I was but I was being more subtle. It’s hard for a Princess to miss the magic it takes for invisibility but noticing an afterimage is much harder. I was the only cloud in the sky that day.”

“I noticed.” Celestia said earning a look of astonishment from Kindo but his invisibility prevented the effect.

“Beside tonight is so much more important and I would rip the universe apart to attend.” Kindo said proudly after regaining his composure.

“What happens tonight?” Luna asked curiously.

“Oh… it’s nothing royal or fancy.” Kindo said nonchalantly.

As the coronation day wound down and Luna put her moon in the sky Kindo was waiting for somepony to arrive. Standing on the balcony where Twilight made her speech earlier today Kindo was still waiting, waiting and thinking. He thought about what had happened on his way here since the coronation was a fixed point Kindo had a lot of trouble landing and nearly lost both of his wings trying.

‘If I had that much trouble getting here then she must have waited.’ He thought recounting the times he had met her. The first time was definitely created by him but as he thought about her something impossible happened, he blushed. Kindo had never blushed before in his life, not when he got drunk at that party sixteen years ago and got a mare pregnant, not when he almost had to marry the Queen of Turelia, and not on the most embarrassing day of his life.

After almost six hours of waiting she appeared in the purple flash that he was accustomed to. Vectra arrived only to find Kindo not only waiting but blushing as well. She was surprised that he seemed to be not only confused but distraught and she never expected what happened next.

“There’s something I need to know and there is only one way to find out.” Kindo said as seriously as he could before he trotted up to her.

“What has you so dis-” Vectra was silenced as Kindo planted a deep passionate kiss on her lips. Vectra was shocked that he did that but after a moment she gave into the kiss. It was their first kiss but they both knew it wouldn’t be their last.
