Talk about humilation. Ex-queen Chrysalis has been stripped of her power and her dignity, having been captured by the very kingdom she tried to overthrow. But rather than have her executed, Princess Celestia orders a far crueler punishment: make some friends! Hoping to demonstrate to her ponies and to the young often self-doubting mare herself that the newly crowned princess Twilight Sparkle is as competent as the shiny thing upon her head suggests, Celestia sends a very spiteful Chrysalis to Ponyville for her most faithful student to reform.

Chrysalis doesn't plan on reforming.

Infact, she doesn't plan on doing much of anything, especially when three annoying brats start bugging her and dragging her around from place to place. But when through a comedic mishap they end up seeking sanctuary in a karaoke bar, Chrysalis's life is turned upside down. Here, she can let loose a thousand years of anger and venom, and belt out her rawest emotions. Has she finally found her true special talent? And dare she say, peace?
