"So can you tell me anything about this Bald guy?" Ed asked as he carried the little filly on his back taking some of the warmth she had as the snowy terrain was a little to cold for Ed.

The little filly took a second to think before answering. "Not a clue"

Ed let out a sigh as he kept on the tracks heading towards Canderlot. He was looking for someone else to beat up since they probably sent a team to check if Diamond Tiara had died or not but so far he didn't see anybody. So far he was pondering on a few ideas that might lead to this Bald person but for now he was gonna focus on getting back to Canderlot and fast.

He felt a tug on his braid from the filly and stopped to see what it was.

"Whats up kid?" Ed asked as he stopped and half turned his head to the filly.

"Why..." She began.

Ed looked back even more seeing her face a little as she continued.

"Why are you helping me?" She asked as she was lost in her own words.

Ed just sighed and kept on walking as he already had his answer.

"It's what I do, It's who I am" Ed said as he felt another tug from the filly as she held his braid.

"But don't you want money or something, isn't that what everypony craves for in life?" Diamond Tiara asked causing Ed to stop and look up at the sky as little snow here and there fell onto his face.

"I never wanted money in life, I just wanted to help those in need kid" Ed said as he half turned to the filly. "Is that answer alright with you?"

She remained still as snow slowly fell around them. She rested her head on his back closing her eyes. "I guess"

With that Ed smiled and looked back to the railroad and kept on walking. It was only about 5 seconds before he heard it.

*Choo-Choo*

He stopped and turned around as he motioned the filly to get off. She did so and watched as Ed knelt down and felt the tracks.

"Whats the matter?" She asked as she walked to his side and looked at him.

She then saw him pull out his pocket watch and smirk as he stood back up and held out his hand for her.

"Our trains here" He said as she suddenly felt the ground shaking and looked forward.

"Wake me when were almost there"

She didn't get to finish her thought as she suddenly felt the ground disappear from under her and then only a warm feeling of heat as she was now sitting. First there was a train in front of her and now a seat that looked like she was in the train itself. She looked and saw that she was actually in the train as she looked to her left out the window as the snowy terrain was a blur. She looked to her right and saw that Ed was sitting next to her on it. She was about to ask questions but saw that Ed was sleeping and decided against it. She didn't know what he did but she and him were safe now as they headed to Canderlot.

2 Hours Later

Ed was getting off the train with Diamond Tiara by his side. They were in Canderlot now as they both saw the rich Unicorns walking around with pride in their step. Ed remembered the last time he was here, he met Twilight after Celestia explained to him that he was in another world and such. Now he was here for some event while all the while trying to help a little rich girl. Ed looked down to Diamond Tiara and saw her scanning the crowd. He smiled and started walking as he grabbed his red coat and made it disappear as the weather was much warmer in Canderlot.

The plan was to act casual and lure the bad guys out, or wait till Diamond Tiara see's somepony she recognizes and follow them to a secure location. But the main objective was to get to the castle and talk to Celestia in private about helping the filly out.

So they walked to the castle as Diamond Tiara scanned the crowds as Ed kept a lookout for any trouble approaching them in front. Ed couldn't slow down time for his eyes or this would be a lot easier. He didn't want to look suspicious moving his eyes here and there alerting whoever may be watching them that he was on to them. So he made Diamond Tiara a lookout by smiling and pretending she was sight seeing.

They were almost at the castle when he heard cheering and laughter a couple blocks away. As they got closer to the noise Ed started seeing more and more ponies going towards the castle too. It wasn't till Ed met a huge crowd that he stopped walking along with Diamond Tiara. He looked at the whole street and saw that it was packed with all types of Ponies and not just Unicorns. Which meant that ponies must have come from everywhere to come to this event, Ed let out a sigh knowing that there must have been hundreds of Ponies here, also meaning that the event probably wouldn't be held in the castle from what Ed read about it.

"Too many ponies here and Castle events usually don't estimate in the thousands zone" Ed thought to himself as he began walking with Diamond Tiara close by his side as they traveled through the crowd.

They were almost through the crowd when he saw Celestia. She was up on a stage sitting behind a table with guards as her side as ponies gathered around it. Ed was debating on walking up there but decided against it as whoever may be watching would probably recognize him and if not the girl certainly. He stopped walking through the crowd and checked that Diamond Tiara was still by his side and was as he looked to his left and saw the filly looking from pony to pony still scanning the crowd.

"Don't bother now there's to many" Ed said as he watched the filly look at him and nod before holding his hand.

"Whats the plan now?" She asked as she slowly looked at the crowd around her.

Ed wasn't sure, he didn't tell her that he knew the Princess and probably should have so that she wouldn't freak out when they both met each other and Ed was rather impolite to the Princess. But the original plan was to get to the castle and ask for help but seeing as though that wasn't gonna happen, Ed had to come up with a new plan and fast as the human didn't like wasting time knowing that the bad guys might figure out that Diamond Tiara was still alive.

His next best option was probably... Secret Service! Ed knew that there had to be secret guards out here and probably some that were looking for Ed himself if Celestia hasn't called them off already. Ed looked around scanning the crowd to see if he could spot one but it as luck would have it he heard his name being called.

"Edward!"

Ed knew who it was telling from the southern accent and turned around to see Applejack smiling as she came towards him. He smiled back and pushed the filly behind him as she neared him.

"There you are, I though ah saw you walking towards here" She said as he stopped in front of him grinning.

"How did you see me?" Ed said but quickly knew as she scrunched her face up and averted her eyes.

"Never mind" Ed said as he sighed and took note that most of the ponies around him were somewhat taller than him. A thought quickly surfaced in his head.

"Would Celestia post watchers to keep and eye on the girls? I mean they are the Elements of Harmony and all..." Ed thought as he looked at Applejack and then behind her as he didn't see any of the other girls.

"Where are the rest of the girls?" Ed asked as he saw AJ look around her.

"Don't know, maybe somewhere in this here crowd" She said as she shrugged before finally noticing the filly standing behind Ed.

"Who's the filly" She asked as Ed tried to hide her by moving to her gaze.

"Just a filly I met today" Ed said picking his words carefully.

"Oh... Well are you going to introduce the filly to me?" Applejack asked as she tried looking around Ed at the filly.

"I'm Diamond Tiara" She said as she came out from behind Ed.

"Nice to meet you Diamond Tiara, I'm Applejack" The mare said as she held out her hand.

The filly kindly accepted it as Applejack started shaking her hand violently like she always does when she meets new ponies.

"So what are you doing with Ed here" She asked as Ed froze but Diamond Tiara smiled.

"He's just... watching over me while my daddy's away" She said as AJ raised an eyebrow.

"Really now?" Applejack said as she looked to Ed and let go of the filly's hand.

"Ah huh... and would why he do that?" The farmer asked as she looked to the filly and smiled.

"Because... my dad is busy with work... and Ed said he would take me to uh... this event here in Canderlot" Diamond Tiara said still smiling while Ed sighed.

"Yeeaahhhh Ed could I talk to you for a second over here" Applejack said as she motioned him to come near her.

Ed just walked to her as she put an arm around his neck and brought him in close.

"What the hay are you doing with a little filly you don't even know?" She asked in a hushed tone as she looked back to Diamond Tiara and saw her standing idle around looking at them before turning back to Ed.

"What's going on?" She asked as Ed just shook her arm off him and looked her in the face.

"I need you to trust me, that's all I'm going to say" Ed said as the mare looked into his eyes and saw seriousness in them.

They stood apart from each other for quite while before Diamond Tiara coughed and got there attention. They both looked at the filly before looking back at each other.

"Well it's not like anything bad's gonna happen" Applejack said sighing.

Ed just smirked as he took a step towards the mare and whispered in her ear. "Worried~?"

Applejacks face lit up red as she took her own step back and started walking away as she turned and "hmpfed"

"Just text Twilight when your done with whatever your doin" The farmer said as she disappeared in the crowd.

Ed made sure she was gone before letting out a big breath and turning around to look at the filly.

"Come on kid we gotta find us some guards" The human said as he began walking as Diamond Tiara followed along.

As they walked Ed thought to himself on how Applejack reacted. She was obviously worried because she knew the filly was lying and that maybe Ed knew about it. If anything she trusted him enough not to ask so Ed was out of the clear. Besides the worst that she would think was going on was that some kid was probably put on him to watch.

For now he needed to focus on finding a guard, and fast.

Now I don't consider this long but the fact that I planning more chapters and already have a few done and such that I'm going to release more than less because I want tensions to build up and notes to be taken.
