The snow came down at a slow pace as the wind was still and everything was calm. The night sky was clear as the moonlight lit up the world around him slightly. The view from the Ed's seat was something indeed as the entire park was filled with snow. The slides and swings all had snow on top of it along with the other playground essentials here and there. Ed was sitting on one of the wooden swings just holding on to the chains that held the seat as he looked at the ground. He had a despondent look on his face as he just stared at the snow, letting the white fill his eyes as the ground was nowhere to be seen. He was lost in thought, thinking about what the Doctor said, what it meant and how it all makes sense now. He replayed the Doctor's words one last time in his head as he looked up and saw a hollow figure standing in front of him.

"You’re a 'Time Bomb' to be exact, you've already been set off just by entering this world as the universe itself re-winded the whole timeline to the events taking place after Nightmare Moons return. Why this happened I don't know, but your here and now time has reset itself for reason's I can't explain. So far nothing bad has happen and time is resuming itself, but just with you in it. I've only been watching from afar but I can tell that you being here has changed the past, the present, and the future. Should we be concerned? No it's quite the contrary, it seems that you coming to Equestria was either fate or dumb luck. And now that I've scanned you I can see that you are in fact from this world, but then again not from this world. So tell me, do you know what a Draconequus is?"

Draconequus... The word Draconequus was composed of the Greek word drakon, meaning dragon, and the Latin equus, meaning horse. A Draconequus was a chimera so to speak. With body parts of different animals combined into one being. A good part of the being was dragon of course. It made sense now that Ed thought about it, why he was immune to fire, and could speak to the dragon. Not bothered by the cold and had so many abilities that were unexplained. It was simple. He was part human, and part Draconequus. Part human.... part Draconequus. As Ed let the sentence float through his mind, it clicked.

There was only one Draconequus in the entire world that he knew about, more importantly, somepony who resided here in Equestria . Discord...

A million thoughts went through his head as every possibility was tested and questioned on this Discord character. Only two possibility's came to mind. One he knew something about his father. Or two.... he was his father.

His father... his father had disappeared when he was little, he didn't know much about him not even from his mother when he asked about him. She just smiled and rubbed his head as he thought back on it. He didn't even know what he looked like, just that his name was Van Hohenheim. And that he left when he Ed was just a kid, leaving behind nothing to his family.

Ed chuckled at this, he was even more confused than ever, he didn't know what was going on or what was real anymore. The truth was always that his father had ditched the family. Now he wasn't so sure what the truth was. Did he want to know, did he need to know? He just chuckled some more as he put a hand to his face covering it as his chuckles turned into laughing. He clutched his face as he felt the insanity rise up inside him as he laughed even harder and louder. He threw his head up laughing hysterically now. He fell from his seat and onto his knees as he laughed at his situation, laughed at all the times he did something nice and only got more shit in return from the universe. Laughed because he just felt like it. Laughed because all he wanted in life was a dam break. And he wasn't getting it anytime soon.

He slowly stopped laughing, now noticing the pony's around him. All wearing white hoods and hiding their faces underneath them.

More shit to deal with He just thought as his laughter died and he rose to his feet slowly.

As he stood on two feet now, he looked around seeing that there was a circle around him of pony's all wearing white hoods. The park was filled with them and no pony else. He just walked. He walked to the middle of the park and stopped. He looked left and right seeing them standing still just watching him.

"This is my reward is it..."

He slowly reached into his pocket and drew out his watch.

"Helping and helping the world, only to get fucked over in the end"

Ed just stared at his watch before sighing.

"Well it's NOT FAIR!!!"

*tick*

The watch slammed against the snowy ground, shattering into a hundred pieces disappearing into the moonlight. Ed felt his body become light and the energy surge through his body. He clapped his hands and slammed them into his chest. His red trench coat appeared along with his black shirt and pants replacing his clothes as he posed. He stood straight with his arms by his sides and his fist clenched, his body was turned a bit and his feet slightly spread out as he gave a fierce look to the hooded ponies around him.

"Edward Elric" Somepony said as Ed turned to see that it was Lyra among the group of hooded ponies.

She had the exact white wear all the other ponies had on except her hood was down and she approached him. She only blinked, or she thought she blinked, as Ed was now standing in front of her with his arm stretched out at her and his hand an inch from grabbing her around the neck. She didn't even see him move or cast a spell but just now saw him in front of her like he was there all along.

"Who are you Lyra, the truth this time" Ed spoke as he felt the need to choke the mare out where she stood.

"Ed, we are the brotherhood, we have been awaiting for your arrival for years now and now it is time for us to show ourselves to you, in your time of need" Lyra spoke in a serious tone as she said this. Ed was about to laugh but didn't, he just thought about how he's only been here for a good month and these ponies have been waiting for years. The word's Time Bomb rung through his head as he mentally smiled. He saw behind Lyra that one of the ponies knelled down, followed by another. He turned around to see the rest and finally took count as there was more than a hundred ponies knelling down to him. He just stood there with a blank expression as he processed everything. He turned back to look at Lyra who was knelling as well.

"What is the Brotherhood for?" Ed asked as Lyra remained knelling still bowing her head.

"To protect the innocent, to uphold the peace, to make Equestria a better place" All the pony's said in union.

Ed just still didn't understand where he stood in all this. "And I'm here to..." Ed let the sentence trail off as Lyra spoke up this time.

"You have proven that you are the Savior, countless times without question, as it was foretold by the prophecy"

Ed just sighed. "But how does that make me important?" He asked as Lyra stood up now still facing him.

"It makes you our leader, the Brotherhood was created for two purposes, one too protect the innocent, uphold the peace, and make Equestria a better place for all"

"The second?" Ed asked as he put his hands on his hips waiting for the answer.

"To aid the human, beck and call" Lyra said as Ed just snickered.

"How do you know that I'm the one, that I'm the right human?" Ed asked as Lyra as just smiled.

"Do you recognize this symbol?" Lyra asked as she pulled her collar to the side showing a tattoo on her lower part of the neck.

Ed didn't recognize it at first but when he did his eyes widened and he froze.

The Flamel!? Ed's mind was freaking out at this point, there was only one place that the symbol existed, he tried to think of it as a coincidence but he knew at this point in time, there were no coincidences. Ed just looked as he saw ponies all around him raising their arms as they were sleeveless now, showing the symbol as well tattooed in their arms. Ed was way past freaking out as he was now ready to faint but didn't as he still felt the power surging through him still as he was in unleashed mode still. Ed took a deep breath before letting it out and looking up to the sky. He watched as the snow fell and the moon shined bright. He looked back down and saw that Lyra was still standing there while everypony else knelled.

"What would you have us do?" Lyra asked causing Ed to grin.

"What have you been doing for the past years?"

Lyra blinked at the question. "The Brotherhood has been protecting the innocent, upholding the peace, and making Equestria a better place for all kinds"

"Then I need nothing from you then" Ed said as he smiled and began walking back to the middle of the park with everyponys eyes on him.

"Your Brotherhood follows the same path I do, and for that... there's nothing I need from you"

Lyra felt sad for a second before hearing Ed again.

"But if something were to ever arise, I hope I can rely on the Brotherhood to help" Ed said before giving a soft smile.

Lyra grinned at his along with everypony else as they all nodded their heads to him. Then in a second... he was gone. Lyra just watched as he disappeared from the snowy park without a trace. She didn't question how he did it, or what magic it was, she was glad either way. Now that her human was back...

A Train to Ponyville

Ed was happy as he had a smiled on his face ever since the train left the station. He may not have gotten the truth, but finding out you had a whole secret society under your command was pretty awesome. Maybe with their help he could find out more about his father and other mysteries that may still allude him. Either way he just wanted to know if they had a secret base at this point. He felt all giddy inside before calming down and resuming staring at the land that passed before him. For now he would put the familiar symbol of the brotherhood aside and all its secretiveness too as he brought his mind back to the simple things he had to worry about. Like getting a job, paying his rent, paying Trixie's rent , helping out his friends, hoping they'll give him money because he helped. Then talking to Applejack about Luna, and Applejack to Luna...

Luna and Applejack....

"Oh God!" He yelled out.

What was he going to do, he had made out with the Princess of the Night while he had an ongoing relationship with the farmer. He didn't want to have two girlfriends, or marefriends as they say it in Equestria. Either way he got farther with the Princess then he did Applejack herself. Should he have them meet, or tell them separately? Or should he just have the Brotherhood come in and hide him for the rest of his life.

"Ugh what am I going to do!?" Ed said as he pulled his hair.

After a couple seconds of pain he let his hair go and sighed. He looked back at the land before him and nodded to himself. He stood up from sitting on top of the train roof and promised himself that he would tell the truth no matter what. He let the wind blow through his hair and move his clothes before letting out a small cry as he slumped to his knees.

"I just hope I live to see another day"
