Chapter 1: Pinkie Pie and Discord

(Ponyville, Pinkie Pie and Discord)

Discord was sitting on one of his favorite cotton candy clouds, simply relaxing. Pinkie Pie is underneath, catching the chocolate rain in her mouth. The draconus looked down through the cloud, smiling. “Hello Pinkie Pie.” The pink party pony swallows and replies with.

“Hiya Mister Discord!” Then she continues to drink the chocolatey goodness. His smile grew as he snapped his fingers, causing a dollop of whipped cream to appear near the pony. She ceased drinking and quickly attacked said dollop without a moment’s hesitation, “Thank you!” she said through a mouthful of the white fluff.

“You’re welcome,” he replied, plucked out a piece of the cloud and tried to eat it.

“You gonna eat that?” with that, the pink mare launched up and ate the pink cloud out of the draconus’s hand, with a speed that surprised even Discord. His eyes widened as he chuckled, picking out another piece and eating it. Remaining in mid-air, the pony questioned, “What’s so funny?” with her eyes filled with genuine curiosity.

“You…” Discord replied, noticing that Pinkie was sitting in mid-air. “How are you doing that?”

“Doing what?” Pinkie asked, completely oblivious to the abnormalities of her actions.

“You’re floating,” he said, slithering to see behind her.

“Oh, that? Well let me explain! You see, if I alter my-”

“Discord!!!” an irritated voice interrupted her, Pinkie looked in the distance to see the source of the voice: a blue mare earth pony with a rainbow mane.

“Rainbow Dash?” Pinkie exclaimed in curiosity.

“It’s been three days, Discord! It was funny at first but I NEED my wings back. NOW!” her voice left no trace of friendly suggestion, rather, authoritative demand.

The draconus looked down at the other pony. “What makes you think I have them?”

“Who else would it be?” an unamused Rainbow Dash hissed.

He smirked. “Well, I don’t know.”

“Discord, give her wings back!” a suddenly serious Pinkie Pie interjected. “A prank is only funny if nopony is upset by it, otherwise it’s just mean!” With no response, Pinkie’s eyes narrowed further, “Give. Them. BACK!” Discord sighed and snapped his fingers, Rainbow’s wings reappearing.

With her wings returned, Rainbow let out an insincere “Thanks!” then left in a huff.
Discord watched her go, eating another piece of cotton candy cloud.

“Discord, you gotta learn when to stop a prank when it stops being funny!” Pinkie Pie scolded.

“What do you mean?” Discord asked, innocently.

“You heard what she said: It’s been three days and it wasn’t funny anymore! I’ll let it slide this time but you need to work on that!”

“Well, you should have said something sooner.”

“I did, we both did!”

“Alright!”

“Let’s just try and enjoy this cotton candy cloud! I don’t like being mad at you!” Pinkie said as she took a huge bite easily twice as big as her own body.

He chuckled and had another piece as well. “By the way, how were you floating earlier?”

“Well…” she takes a big bite. “First I- mph mmmpphhhh!” with too much cotton candy in her mouth, she spoke incoherently.
He chuckled more as he continued to eat as well, not being able to understand her.

“Mpphh mmmph!” Pinkie swallows, “and after concentrating really hard, I’m able to talk to the voice-” she takes another bite, “and I should be careful not to say mpphhhh mmmmmph!”
Discord raised an eyebrow at that, but decided it was best not to say anything. “Mpphh mph!” Pinkie swallows one last time and concludes with: “and that’s how I float! Pretty neat, huh?” Discord nodded, chuckling. “So what’s the most fun thing you can do with your magic?”

“Pranks!” he answered, without hesitation.

“What kind of pranks?” Pinkie asked, giggling cutely.

“All kinds.”

“What was your most funnarific super duper funniest prank?”

“Hm…” Discord thought for a short moment. “Switching Luna’s and Celestia’s manes. You should have seen the looks on their faces” he concluded with a chuckle. Pinkie proceeded to laugh hysterically, letting out the occasional cute snortle. The draconus smiled, chuckling as well at the memory.

“I’ve got an idea!” Pinkie said, wiping a tear from her eye with her hoof. “Let’s go prank Applejack!”

“Sure, let’s go!” he said. As they head towards Sweet Apple Acres, Pinkie reveals her plan or attack to her accomplice.

“…And right as she’s about to buck a tree, you turn her legs into wobbly jelly!” he nodded flying up to a nearby cloud to wait for his go. Pinkie Pie waited in a nearby bush, watching Applejack, waiting for the right moment.

1…

“NOW!”

Discord quickly snapped his fingers, smirking brightly.

Applejack’s legs turned wobbly and boneless as they smushed against the tree. The draconus laughed hysterically. “What the hay?” Applejack asked in confusion, trying, but failing, not to fall on her plot. Applejack looked around, trying to find the culprit, and then she caught a glimpse of the prank duo hiding behind a bush. Discord’s grinning face appeared out of the tree, his yeallow eyes gleaming.

“Discord!” the orange apple-farming earth pony yelled in frustration, until she realized the humor in the prank, she immediately started cracking up.

Discord got up to sit on a low branch, smiling at both of the ponies. Pinkie couldn’t control her laughter, which was made obvious by her volume and intensity, she could hardly breathe. The draconus was still chuckling. Pinkie kept laughing as she was moving her legs in a floppy motion, not unlike a certain earth pony’s legs. Discord slithered down from his tree.
Applejack drags herself over to Discord and Pinkie Pie to give the latter a hug, while continuing to laugh the whole time. Discord was still grinning still grinning brightly. “Ok, enough is enough, now gimme mah legs back so I can get back to apple-buckin’” said Applejack.

Discord snapped his fingers again and, in a flash, Applejack’s legs were normal again. “Thank ya!” she picks up an apple from her basket. “Here, have this, pardner.” He took it and took a bite.

“It’s very good!”

“Why, thank ya! I’ve been savin’ that one especially fer you, Discord.”

He smiled. “That makes me feel like I actually have friends!”

That remark caused Pinkie Pie to let out a big “awww” as she and Applejack walked in for a big hug.
The draconus smiled at that, patting the ponies on the head with his mis-matched hands.

“Teeheehee! Disocrd, don’t do that! I’m really ticklish there!” Pinkie said in between giggles. He chuckled, tickling her even more. “Teehee! Stop that!” she yelled in between snortles.

He stopped, smirking. “You’re so cute, Pinkie Pie!”

Pinkie just looked at the draconus with an audible *squee* accompanied by a diabeetus-inducing smile. Discord gave a warm smile back, yellow and red eyes sparkling. Pinkie scooted over to cuddle with the chaos god and let out a cute sigh. His smile grew as he watched her. Pinkie let out an adorable snore, indicating that she had fallen asleep.
He chuckled at that and though a nap might be a good idea. He laid down, curling around the sleeping pony who in turn cuddled closer to Discord in her sleep. He laid his head on his hand and let his eyes close.

this was the first part of our roleplay, i was pinkie pie and my crush was discord, i provided dialogue and stuff for rainbow dash and applejack but i wasnt actually them, hope you had as much fun reading it as much as we did writing it!
