Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy are PesterChum friends who live in Ponyville, yet don't get around to seeing each other very often. When Twilight's birthday comes around, SMOON is released, and Twilight along with her four friends each get their hooves on a copy, when the world begins to sink into an apocalypse– caused by the game.
To survive, Twilight and her three friends must go into the story, or face destruction of themselves, even if their world can't be saved.
