Prelude Arc Pt 2: Beauty Bathed in Sunlight.
As Solaire followed Tia to where ever she was leading him, he couldn't help but notice how everything seemed to brighten up around her as if she brought life and colour back to the dull grey lifeless looking city. It made him wonder what kind of woman she actually was, anyhow despite the strange goings on recently he considered himself a very lucky man.
“Enjoying the view? You seemed a little lost there.” Tia teased, she had caught Solaire watching the sensual sway of her hips as she walked. Solaire just stuttered something nonsensical as a response to which she just laughed warmly.
The night life wasn't anything spectacular due to the seemingly endless grey of the streets and what little colour the street lights seemed to bring. Tia stopped in the centre of the Tyne bridge intently gazing at the grey city scape that seemed to have more life to it due to the light of moon and stars in the midnight sky.
“My sister would love the view here, she loves the night and the beauty the moon and stars bring.” Tia commented much to Solaire's surprise. “It's a shame the city seems so...grey, dull and lifeless. Has it always been like this?” Solaire just leaned upon the bridges safety fence before answering.
“No, at one point the city was very lively and full of colour, but lately it seems like all the life has been sucked out of it. I don't know why though...” Solaire frowned slightly, “Now that you mention it, it's been like that with the people here as well some of my friends included.”
“What happened?” Tia asked curious.
“We just seemed to fall out with each other, it was like the worst of them was brought out some how.” Solaire explained, Tia said something regarding deja vu under her breath. “I've tried everything to talk some sense into them, but I can't seem to get through to them. Only one of my friends seems to unaffected by all this.”
“I'm sure you get through to them sooner or later.” She reassured, wrapping her slender arms around Solaire in an embrace and bringing her face close to his. “Just keep trying, your a good honest man I can tell...” She smiled before leaning in to kiss him which he returned eagerly, to Solaire this was more or less heaven. He wasn't sure which deity to thank for this lovely goddess but he was damn well going to enjoy every moment.
They continued walking for what must have been an hour, Tia seemed very content in his company as they continued their conversation from the bar. Solaire had noticed she said very little about herself regarding her background but he paid it no mind. They soon found themselves before a large apartment building, even in the night it was full of colour due the various species of flowers and plant life.

The early morning rays shone down upon Solaire's face, wincing at the brightness he slowly woke up and sat himself up upon the bed. He scanned his surroundings and found himself alone in Tia's bedroom as he looked around he heard a soft tingling of water from a shower in the next room.
“Huh? When did I get this?” Solaire exclaimed, lifting a small silver chain with a small ornate white sword hanging from it. He wasn't sure what to make of the chain, but he assumed Tia must of put it on him while he slept.
He looked towards the white digital clock on the bed stand, blinking 5:30 am. Solaire recalled that was roughly the time the sun usually rose, getting out of bed and getting ready he couldn't help but smirk as he recalled his shirt being ripped apart by Tia the previous night.
“I'm glad to see your up this early.” Tia greeted as she entered the room, bathed in nothing more than the morning sunlight. “Do you like your chain?” Tia asked warmly, “Consider it something to remember our wonderful night together. Just promise me one thing...”

“I'll definitely be calling you again Tia, but as much as I would love to stay with such a wonderful woman such as yourself I'd best be going. I've got see if I can talk some sense into someone.” He explained.
“I see...I wish you the best of luck Solaire, just be careful.” Tia said solemnly, before kissing him goodbye. Solaire soon found himself outside the large apartment building, he wasn't sure of what to make of Tia but he would definitely be calling back on her.

“Master is it wise to trust that woman?” Number 107 asked, it's voice speaking directly into Solaire's mind, “There is something foreign about her master, she is like myself and does not belong to this world...” Solaire just stopped in mid-step before answering.
“I know, there is something ethereal about her and if there is something strange going on she'll soon attract it's attention, much like we will.” He explained, “If that's going to the case it'll be worth keeping an eye on her.”
“Your determined to get to the bottom of all this are you?” The dragon replied, as it considering Solaire's words. “As you wish then...” The voice vanished into the depths of Solaire's mind. Solaire broke into a run, if he was going to talk some sense into Jay he was damned well going to need a new shirt...
Jay was one of his oldest and closest friends, seeing him change for the worse sent shivers down his spine. He normally wouldn't let something like that unnerve him, but something about it all felt unnatural which was something he and Silent both agreed on. He was sure to check upon him after he dealt with Jay.
Speaking of Jay there he was now...
In front of Solaire was a young man, sporting brown hair and blue eyes which seemed to have a more grey and lifeless look about him. His normally relaxed expression was distorted into an angry and annoyed expression.
“Oi Jay! Hold up a second!” Solaire shouted, Jay just glanced in Solaire's direction and frowned in annoyance.
“What the fuck do you want? I thought I told you and Silent not to bother me again!” Jay warned him, Solaire just let out an exasperated sigh.
“Jay what the fuck is wrong with you lately!?” Solaire asked, “What the hell has gotten into you? Your not normally like this with us!” Solaire couldn't help but hear a low growl from the back of his mind, but he ignored it for the moment.
“Me!? What about you? All you and Silent have done is interfering with my life. I don't need you or anyone judging me!” Jay accused before sucker punching Solaire in the stomach. Winded and wincing in pain, Solaire fell to his knees and looked up at Jay with an angry expression. “Stay the hell out of my life!” Jay roared in anger, before storming off disappearing into the crowd. After regaining his breath Solaire got back up leaning against the nearby wall.
“What are you going to do master?” The Number asked. “Something was clearly wrong with his mind, something unnatural must be controlling it...” Bearing the Numbers advice in mind Solaire mentally agreed with the dragon.
“Then we shadow him.” Solaire explained with a determined look, “We'll find out what's going on with him once and for all!” Number 107 growled in approval with Solaire's decision, and they both set of in pursuit.
For hours they searched the city for Jay, and eventually found him while from the look of Jay's interactions with people around him he had become far more aggressive and forceful. As he was currently beating down some people with an unnatural amount of strength considering his small frame, grinning and laughing like a manic all the while.
“There's definitely something wrong here...” Solaire mused,
Hours flew by as Solaire shadowed the unnatural monster his friend was becoming, if anything the closer to the night time it was getting the more monstrous Jay's strange behaviour came. Eventually Jay led Solaire to an abandoned multi story parking lot, which he just stopped and stood in the middle of all a sudden.
“Master...this place is pulsing with sheer unnatural energies, it's like nothing but sheer malice radiating into the air around us...” The Number explained, “It's like all the positive energy is being slowly leached away...”
*“Tell me has that meddlesome princess of the sun sent you!?”
“Does he know we're here?” Solaire thought to himself.
“Show yourself!” “So her knight finally shows himself, I can smell her foul scent all over you, the positivity it brings absolutely disgusts me!!”
“Who are you?! What have you done with my friends?” Solaire roared, the inhuman monster just laughed as he sprang out four torn wings from his back, Solaire just watched on in horror as Jay's shape twisted and tore itself apart as he laughed and screamed simultaneously.
The creatures new form was a grey and black human shaped monstrosity clad in dark skeletal like plated armor, with deathly white hair. His eye's were mismatched with one being a sickly white colour surrounded by what should have been the white of his eye now looked like they were burnt black. The creature had no mouth upon it's bear facial features, but even with out it Solaire could tell it had a sick grin on it's face.
“I am Malice, my unwelcome Solaire...Didn't I warn you not to interfere with my life?” “Bit by bit I will suck this world dry of all it's positive life energy and rid it all of the disgusting harmony so all your kind will destroy themselves as they embrace their true nature!”
“Why?!” Solaire asked.
“Because the true purpose in your lives is to create perfect chaos, you filthy humans do nothing but lie, betray, kill, steal and are nothing but cruelty incarnate. It's only natural you allow yourselves to show your true colours!” “It's such a shame I'll have to kill you and smear your corpse against the floor, don't worry I'll make sure your whore sees your head upon a pike! KYAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!”
“...I...won't...” Solaire snarled, his fists tightly closed with the sheer anger he was feeling, “...I won't...ever...LET YOU GET AWAY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!” He roared as his pendant began glowing, resonating and responding to his emotions.
Solaire was enveloped in a flash of light, blinding the monster and destroying it's spear with the shear brilliance of the light. As the light dimmed down, Solaire re-emerged clad around his left arm was a silver and black armoured knights gauntlet, along it's side was a single wing like protrusion the resembled a sheathed sword. Recognising the device, Malice just let out an annoyed growl of frustration.
“You, who have lied and deceived everyone I care for, in the name of all that is honest and good in the world I sentence you to death! I hope your necks clean...” Solaire threatened in a low tranquil voice that hid the intensity of his anger.
“If you wish to play that game fine! Your welcome to try, you're not leaving here alive!”
“Duel!!”
Awakened Knight, Solaire (8000 LP) VS Entropy from the Beyond, Malice. (8000 LP)
Malice turn...
“Draw! I place one set monster and three face down cards this turn and end! There isn't much I can do this turn but this play is only just begun!” “Just think you'll see your friends soon enough once I send you back to them all in pieces!”
Solaire turn...
“I draw! For starters I summon: Breaker the Magical Warrior! (Lv4/1600 ATK)” As Solaire played the card, a crimson armoured clad knight wielding a sword and large diamond shaped shield appeared from a spell circle that drew itself upon the ground. “When Breaker is normal summoned to the field my knight gains a spell counter raising it's attack value! (1600 ATK → 1900 ATK) Further more I can remove this counter to have Breaker to destroy one spell or trap upon the field! Breaker destroy his face down card on the right!”
Breaker obeyed and absorbed a purple light in to sword, before swinging down shattering the Malice's face down card like glass.
“Now Breaker! Attack and destroy it's set monster!” Breaker swung his sword again revealing a large red masked dragon, which screamed in agony as it's head was lopped off by Breaker. Malice began laughing sadistically.
“Masked Dragon's effect resolves, when this card is destroyed as a result of battle I can summon one dragon type monster from my deck with 1500 or less ATK!” “Now, come forth Exploder Dragon! (Lv3/1000 ATK)”
“Tch...I set three cards face down and call it a turn...” Solaire said annoyed.
Malice turn...
“It's all over now...Draw! I activate my face down field spell card: Fusion Gate!” “In exchange for not using Polymerisation, this card let's me fuse my monsters together providing I banish them instead. Next I activate my trap card: Chain Material! During this turn when I preform a fusion summon I can use Monsters from my deck or graveyard to summon them!”
“Shit! That's Jay's strategy!” Solaire exclaimed recognising the move.
“From my deck I banish three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to summon Blue-Eye's Ultimate Dragon! (Lv12/4500 ATK) Followed by Black Luster Soldier and King of the Swamp to summon Dragon Master Knight! (Lv12/5000 ATK) And finally the Masked Dragon in my graveyard along with Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Alexandrite Dragon and the Exploder Dragon on my field to summon Five God Dragon! (Lv12/5000 ATK)” “Dragon Master Knight's effect resolves! For every dragon type monster I control except for my knight, he gains 500 extra ATK! (Dragon Master Knight 5000 ATK → 6000 ATK)”
“Tch...I only have Battle Fader and Gagaga Girl left!” Solaire thought bitterly as he looked at the cards in his hand, “And my three face downs are spell cards...I'll last another turn but then what do I do?!”
“Dragon Master Knight obliterate Breaker!”
Solaire 8000 LP → 3600 LP.
“End this! Five God Dragon! Final Attack!” “You've failed just like all those who came before you!”
“From my hand I summon: Battle Fader! (Lv1/0 ATK) When I'm targeted for a direct attack I can special summon this card from my hand and end the battle phase!” Solaire declared, letting out a slight sigh of relief.
“Tch...fine, I end my turn!” “Make your last turn count!”
Solaire turn...
“This is it, the final turn! DRAW!” Solaire looked at the card in his hand, “Gagaga Magician! Perfect!” Solaire let out a smirk, “From my field I activate the spell card: Double Summon! This card grants me an additional normal summon this turn. Now come forth Gagaga Magician! (Lv4/1500 ATK) Gagaga Girl! (Lv3/1000 ATK).” The two magicians rose out of the same spell circle like Breaker did, arms folded staring the three dragons down. The dragon's let out a mocking roar each at the two magicians before them. “I activate their effects! I increase Gagaga Magician's Level to 8, along with Gagaga Girl's level to match it! With them both I construct an overlay nexus!”
The two magician's transformed into two balls of violet light, opening and a galaxy like portal before entering it and unleashing an explosion of energy.
"Roar throughout the entire universe. Revive, from the source of all galaxies, that flows from far back in time!! Manifest yourself, and lead me to victory! Xyz Summon! Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon! (Rank 8/3000 ATK” As the sealed form of the Number emerged from the nexus and began unfurling itself into it's true form, Solaire's right hand glowed becoming marked with pulsing 107 upon it signifying his mastery of the Number. As Tachyon Dragon finally finished transforming it let out deafening roar powerful enough to crack the crystal behind Malice.
“W-what!”
“I activate Gagaga Girl's second effect!” Solaire roared. Malice turned back to him, realisation sinking in at what that meant. “When ever Gagaga Girl is used for a Xyz summon I can reduce one opposing monster's Attack value to zero, I target Dragon Master Knight! (6000 ATK → 0 ATK)”
“That still won't be enough!”
“I activate my two face down spell cards on my field: Megamorph and Riryoku!” As the two cards revealed themselves Tachyon Dragon roared once again as it increased in size until it completely outclassed the three opposing dragon's in both size and shear might, again the crystal pillar cracked further under the strain of the power of the Number's roar. “As my Life Points are lower than yours Tachyon's power is doubled! (3000 ATK → 6000 ATK) Further more I target your Five God Dragon with the effect of Riryoku robbing it of half it's strength and giving it to Tachyon! (Five God Dragon 5000 ATK → 2500 ATK, Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon 6000 ATK → 8500 ATK)”
“!?” “T-This...this isn't possible! All that power it's beyond anything a mere human can use!”
“For everything you've done to my friends, and for your twisted plans for my home! Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon! Obliterate Dragon Master Knight along with Malice! Final Tachyon Stream!!!” Solaire roared along side Tachyon Dragon, the shear immeasurable force separated Malice from Jay's body sending Malice into the pillar behind it causing it to crack until breaking point. Tachyon Dragon launched an intense violet stream as hot as any nuclear blast obliterating the crystal and Malice from the face of the earth.
Malice 8000 LP → 0 LP.
As the crystal pillar shattered into non-existence, the sphere containing the ruins of the building began to distort and collapse. Solaire grabbed Jay's unconscious body and carried him out of the collapsing area.
“Ugh...Sol? Is that you?” Jay mumbled as he was regaining consciousness, “What...happened to me?” Solaire felt the ground shaking as he dragged Jay's body through the collapsing ruins.
“Master the entire dimensional space is collapsing, we have to hurry and leave now!” The Number warned, Solaire just grunted in response. Neither he or Jay was in any condition to run, that last attack from Dragon Master Knight saw to that.
“Jay! C'mon mate! We have to pick up the pace!” Solaire shouted, as the earthquake increased in ferocity as large chucks of the building were being sucked into a massive tear in the sky, “JAY!! WE HAVE TO HURRY!!” Solaire panicked, forcing themselves to pick up the pace.
As the clock against them was ticking, the ruined building and everything inside it began to tear itself apart around them as they limped quickly towards the exit. Time was running out as Solaire realised they wouldn't make it, in an desperate move he grabbed Jay and threw him out the exit and out of harms way with the remaining strength he had.
“Solaire?! What are you doing? You'll be killed for sure!” Jay shouted as he barely managed to stand up. Solaire just let out a bitter laugh, knowing he couldn't escape...
“Sorry mate...I'll guess this is it for me...” Solaire said sadly, as he was slowly being dragged into the centre of the collapsing dimensional tear. “...I'll see you next lifetime...” The ground beneath him finally gave way as Solaire fell into the rip in the sky.
“SOLAIRE!!!!” Jay screamed, as he watched helplessly as the rip closed leaving nothing but a large hole in the ground where the building once stood. Jay heard the faint shrill shriek of sirens in the background getting closer...
Solaire found himself falling in an endless void, as he slipped into unconsciousness. He could have sworn he heard a warm, soothing and radiant voice full of familiarity as he slipped into darkness.
“Don't worry I have you...it'll be okay...everything will be okay...” Voice reassured, “Your story is far from over...it's just beginning...” The pendant that Tia had given him began to glow softly, the gentle light enveloping him slowly as it shone brighter until he vanished from the void in ray of sunlight...

Journey to Harmony Pt 1: A Silent Passion.
Everything's gone to hell since people started disappearing, rumour has it that the people just vanished overnight with these horse like creatures in their place. Some of mankind hasn't treated these 'Ponies' to kindly, it was all over the news...It's been that way since my best friend Solaire went missing over a month or so ago, Jay had been the bearer of the news. Solaire's mother and younger brother Andre were devastated, we all were...
Ever since Solaire vanished the disappearances seemed to be happening more often and humanity seemed to be getting more violent to the unfortunate victims. Human or not what kind of person would allow such cruelty, the news reports had covered murder, rape, abuse and what was just plain torture of creatures that looked confused and frightened.
I really didn't want to see the images of those ponies covered in bodily fluids, lacerations, broken bones and some looked like they were torn apart by some sort of animal.
“Tch. It's shit like this that makes me sick.” I said to no one in particular, switching of the TV. I sat in the living in my run down apartment. I wasn't exactly well off money wise but I managed, besides it was nothing a little DIY couldn't fix and I kept it as tidy as I could.
Ever since people started disappearing, the world has just gone to hell it was as if humanity changed for the worse overnight, like that spark of goodness was gone. Even my friends and family were effected by this change at one point.
The living room was dim, that damn light was going again...I watched the clear night sky wondering what was happening to this grey chaotic world.
“Help...please...” I could have sworn that this was the voice of the wind, but I was inside after all. The gentle voice was faint like it was some distance away. I don't know what go into me but I grabbed my jacket and headed out.
I soon found myself at the nearest park, it was one of the few places that still had any beauty in this part of town. The chilling autumn breeze blowing the earth coloured leaves was a wonderful sight compared to the greys that seemed to consuming the town.
“Help...me please...anyone...” I followed the heart breaking sobs and pleas for help into a deep part of the woodland portion of the park. I could of thrown up at the sight in front of me...
A beaten and broken midnight blue pegeasus unicorn, lay tied to an old oak tree. It's wings looked broken and it's horn looked like it was snapped clean off. You could smell the blood from the cuts across it's body and the stench of bodily fluids that must have been a few day's old was overpowering. I took a step forward snapping a twig on the leaf covered ground, alerting it to my presence.
“A-are...you here to help us?” It asked in it's gentle feminine voice. I could see the fear in it's clear blue eyes.
“Yes I am.” I reassured her, “Hold on I get you out of this rope.” I pulled out a small utility knife from my jacket pocket and began to cut away at the rope, I had to reassure her again I wouldn't hurt her with it.
“Your not like the others?” She asked,
“No. To do something this cruel to any living thing makes me sick to my stomach.” I replied, I soon had her out of the rope, “C'mon I'll get you out of here.”
We were about to leave, but sadly the person responsible came back to have his 'fun' with the injured alicorn. The monster towered over me in both height and mass, his face reminded me vaguely of a cross between a baboon's arse and something unpleasant that's just been stepped in.
“Run!!” I yelled, she hesitated for a moment and ran as fast as she could with her injuries.
“So...Your the son of a bitch responsible for this?” I taunted, the man growled, given his shabby appearance and dumb expression he must have been one of the local thugs.
“Ya little shit, ah'll fuckin' kill ya fer interrupting mah time wiv mah toy.” It spoke in a low growling voice thick with the local accent.
“A toy?! God your a sick fuck.” I dodged his lunge, and kicked him in the back of the head.
He cursed harshly under his breath. Next thing I knew he grabbed my arm, yanked it out it's socket and threw me in to the tree. The impact was shortly followed by the gigantic fist rammed into my chest, cracking some of my ribs judging from the loud snap.
“Fuck...!” I cried and wheezed in pain.
“Afta ah've delt wiv ye, ah'm ganna find mah toy and ride 'er like the horse she is.” The thug grinned evilly, what followed was a size 10 boot stamping me into the ground face first, I heard the snapping of one of my arms and legs as beating left me half dead. The last thing I heard before blacking out was as single gun shot and the sound of sirens.
“How bad is it?” A voice asked,
“Broken right arm, dislocated shoulder, several broken ribs, crushed pelvis, damaged spine and a broken jaw...he was beaten enough to the point of a coma.” the doctor replied.
“When will he wake up...?”
The doctor shook his head, “Days, weeks, months or at the worse years...I can't say really, he's lucky to be even alive.” The voice began sobbing,
“My baby boy how could someone do this to you...”
The hospital was silent, aside from the footsteps of the staff that worked there on the night shift. One by one each nurse and doctor fell into deep sleep, as the soft clopping of hooves was heard approaching the room I lay comatose in.
“This must be it.” A gentle voice whispered, the clopping got louder as she entered the room. She took a moment to examine my comatose and broken body. “We're sorry this had to happen to you, because of me you were nearly killed by that monster.” She said to my still form, “Our sister said we should return such kindness and bravery, but...there is a condition. If we help you...you cannot go back to how you were before...” She explained crestfallen, “We are truly sorry for what happened...and for what is about to happen...”
The remaining part of her horn began to glowed gently, illuminating the room in a bluish hue.
I could feel myself getting warm all over, as the injured parts of my body began to repair itself, something felt a little off though. It was like everything was changing as it healed, as if it was being torn apart as it became something new.
Hands and arms snapped back into place, and fingers melded together. Legs and feet doing something similar as they twisted into their new shape. The feeling of something plush and warm covered my body as it healed, something felt wrong between my legs...as if something was being pulled back into my body. I could feel my face and ears being pulled as I felt a slight shrinking feeling as my skeleton cracked and twisted into it's new size and shape.
Even though I was unconscious, I felt smaller, softer, lighter and curvier...but at the same time I felt warmer and something inside me pulsing gently like I was at peace with myself in both body and mind.
I woke up to find myself in my own bedroom back home, “Oh dear god, what a strange dream...” I said in slightly higher more feminine pitch, “The hell's up with my voice?” I asked in confusion. I got out of bed and fell straight on the floor as I tried standing. “What the hell is going on?” I looked down at myself and found I had...hooves? “Alrighty then I'm officially frightened now.” I panicked,
I did my best to walk on all fours towards the mirror and found myself a bit taller than my desk, meaning I now stood at roughly 3ft 11 inches in height. I gazed into the mirror and saw a unicorn with light blue fur, bright blue eyes and a dusty blonde coloured mane and tail with a some sort of mark depicting a old console controller across a pen drawing a line upon my flank.
“What the fuck...?” I exclaimed, I turned around to examine my now ponified body, and went crimson when I saw my...erm...marehood hiding itself behind my lazily swishing tail.
“Note to self:get some clothes to cover nether regions...” I said to myself embarrassed. I took a few steps backward from the shock of my reflection.
“What's happened to me?” I heard the sound of muffled clopping of hooves against the carpet,
“We see your awake and well now.” I turned to see where the familiar voice came from.
“Your that pony from the forest, then all of that really happened.” She nodded,
“Yes we are indeed that pony, and it's all true we're afraid.” I frowned,
“Then wasn't I beaten into the ground? How come I'm like this?” I asked pointing to myself with one of my forelegs. The alicorn took a moment to get comfortable on my bed,
“We are responsible for your new form, needless to say it was better than the alternative.” She explained with an utmost serious look, “You would have been comatose for years.” I sighed, it was that bad...”Your body was damaged beyond repair, so we transformed you as way of saving your life considering you saved mine.” She examined me, and with an amused look in her eyes, “We expected to find a unicorn stallion when we cast that spell on you, but you changed into a unicorn mare. We're sorry but I can't help but wonder why?” I blushed a little, “The spell we cast brings out the true you in a manner of speaking, we must imagine this is something you've kept deep inside you locked away for whatever reason.” I nodded reluctantly,
“Yeah, I guess I've kept that part of me locked up.” I admitted reluctantly
“Do you have a name?” She asked, I nodded,
“It's Silent, but as I am I don't know anymore this feels like I've been stripped of my identity.” She gave an understanding nod,
“Well where we're from, ponies often take names that are meaningful to us. Given that you've kept this side of you quiet and the kindness you showed us in that forest, we guess Silent Passion would be a more fitting title, don't you agree?” I nodded, I honestly liked the sound of the name.
“I like that name, it's a pleasure to meet you...erm.” She gave a soft chuckle,
“We are Princess Luna.” She introduced herself.
“I have to ask Luna, what brings you here in the first place?” I asked,
“Things haven't been going well in Equestria, portals to this world have been opening all over and creating all sorts of chaos. According to our research into the matter our worlds seem to be fusing together, in fact not to long ago our sister rescued someone from this world whom fell into a collapsing rift of all things!” Luna explained, “More so if we don't do something to stabilize the situation both this world and Equestria will suffer such horrific amounts of damage, but to do that we need the Elements of Harmony of this world.”
“Elements of Harmony? Good luck there, this place has nothing but chaos since people have been disappearing.” I scoffed,
“Can you tell us more?” Luna inquired, I nodded.
“I think it's better your see for yourself. Follow me.” I led her into the living room and switched on the TV.
The news reporter explained that more people have vanished and the end result wasn't pleasant, Luna looked horrified at what she was seeing happen to the ponies that had been found by the cruelty of humanity some people were showing lately.
“H-how can somepony do this, it's naught but horrific!?” the princess looked on in disgust, “And this has been happening because people have been vanishing and ponies found in their place.” I nodded,
“It's not just that people have been acting strangely as if the worst of their personalities have been brought out, and I think the people that vanished are the ponies they're torturing.”
“Isn't there anything we can do about this?” Luna asked,
“I guess if we found the Elements of Harmony of this world, everything would go back to how it was.” I suggested, after all if all this was linked then solution was obvious. Luna gave a hefty sigh,
“In our current state we'll not be able to accomplish much, we would have to travel back to Equestria before we make our next move but that would take another week before we would have enough magic to send us both there.”
“How come?” I asked,
“With my horn broken, my magic is severely limited it took a lot just to transform you.” Luna explained, “And sadly the illusion we cast will give out in another week before they come looking for you.” So that's why no one came looking for me...
”We could always go to my parents, this chaos doesn't seem to be effecting them. I'm sure they would help us out.” I suggested.
“Yes that does seem to be the best course of action right now.” Luna agreed, “It would be best if we left at night though.” It made sense, I don't think either of us want to end up like those ponies on the news. “If you don't mind Silent Passion, we need to rest.” Luna gave a sigh, “It'll be a month before my horn can be repaired and my wings in less time.” A curious look painted my features,
“A month? You mean the next full moon?” Luna nodded,
“An alicorn and unicorn's horn will repair itself over time but it repairs significantly faster when exposed to magic.” I looked thoughtful for a moment,
So why can't I use magic to speed the repair up?” I had a valid point, since I am technically a unicorn now, but Luna shook her head in disagreement.
“While yes you are a unicorn now, but you don't know how to use your magic nor will the magic you do have will be enough. The attempt alone would surely kill you, we would imagine only my sister or her student could preform such a deed.” Luna explained. I decided to change the subject,
“I suppose I should know my limits of my new body then?” I asked, Luna looking a little more comfortable now nodded in agreement.
“As an unicorn, your body will naturally draw upon magic from nature around you and the some have access to unique magic based upon their individual talents which is usually indicated by their Cutie mark such as my own.” I gazed upon Luna's flank at her moon Cutie mark.
“I take it that’s why you need a full moon then?” Luna nodded and then continued,
“Considering you are now for all intents a mare now...” I turned beet red, knowing where this conversation is going and gave a small groan...
Over the course of the night Luna told me everything about a mare's body, and of what Equestria was like. I almost slapped myself when I found out she was royalty in Equestria. In turn I told her what I knew about human society and about myself, my family and ambitions.
I could tell humanity had left a bit of a sour taste in both our mouths, given the fact I tended to stay away from other people and my ability to go unnoticed was well known amongst the friends I did have. Eventually we decided that we would visit my parents the next evening considering we would have less trouble travelling at night.

Life in Equestria Arc Pt 1: Much Needed Adjustments.
Luna's older sister, Princess Celestia examined the state Luna and my unconscious form in was in. When she saw Luna in such a injured state the temperature of the room shot up a few degrees, the black earth pony and a few of the guards took a few steps back from the force of temper. Luna winced a little of the brightness Celestia was emitting.
“Sister please! Calm thyself!” Luna pleaded, the temperature lowered back down to normal the black pony sighed in relief as the princess calmed down. Celestia looked at my unconscious body with a curious look.
“And who is your sleeping guest, Luna?” Celestia asked, “Solaire would you mind taking my sister's guest to her bed chambers? I do believe my sister and I will have to have a heart to heart chat in private.” The black pony just bowed as he and the other guards picked me up and put my unconscious form upon Solaire's back. He almost let himself laugh out loud as he had the feeling of deja vu.
“I don't why, but there's something familiar about you...” He mused.
When I came to a few hours later, I took a moment to gather my surroundings. A large ornate bedroom decorated in various shades of blue making it reminiscent of the comforting night sky, various tomes and books lay scattered on the desk and floor, judging from the colour scheme alone I would have guessed it was Luna's bedroom though the fact Luna's Cutie mark was emblazoned on the quilt pretty much confirmed it for me.
“It's good to see you awake, Silent passion.” Luna greeted as she entered the room, along with her sister Celestia,
“So this is the young filly you told me about Luna?” Celestia took her time examining me, “Well my little pony, it seems we have much to discuss regarding the situation.”
“Well where do I begin your highness?” I told Celestia of what happened to Luna, myself, the disappearances and what happened to the captured ponies in my own world, I left out the detail regarding my former gender I know I shouldn't have but I was still coming terms that detail myself.
Luna had a question of her own...
“How did you know what that dragon was?” she asked,
“I recognise Kalame'et from a piece of fiction of my world, called Dark Souls. My only concern was how a piece of fiction of my world, came to attack us?” Celestia looked thoughtful for moment,
“Perhaps what is fiction in one world is reality in another?” It was possible after all, and I suppose it was the best conclusion we could all come to.
“Now, my dear Silent Passion I know you've had your reasons but I am fully aware of your situation. Luna has informed me and it would be best if you had a medical check up from one of our doctors.” I couldn't argue with Celestia, so I agreed to the check up.
“Frostlit Shard, can you come here for a moment.” A ice blue furred pegeasus pony entered the room, she had bright green eyes, a cyan coloured mane and tail with white highlights, her cutie mark depicted a heart shape formed by flames and ice interwoven with each other.
“Can you show Silent Passion here to the hospital? I've already sent word ahead and their expecting you both.” Frostlit Shard gave a curt bow towards the two princesses, and I followed her out of the room.
On the way there Frostlit Shard introduced herself, she remained quiet afterwards for the most part. I can't say I'm surprised as I'm not really a talkative person, and from what I could tell neither was she.
“So Silent Passion? What brings you here to Canterlot?” She asked, it was a simple question but it was no better way to start a conversation.
“I met Luna in my world, and I offered to help her.” Frostlit Shard had look of surprise across her features,
“There's ponies like us in your world?” she asked, brightening up considerably.
“Not normally no, but ponies such as yourself have been appearing in my world.” Surprises turned to confusion.
“You mean there isn't any ponies in the human world, but what about yourself?” I paused for a second,
“Well, I'm was human, but now I'm as much a pony as you are inside and out.” Her emerald eyes lit up in happiness, this was short lived however as she bumped into something.
“Ya'll want to be a bit more careful there miss.” I turned my gaze towards a red coated stallion with a short blonde coloured mane and apple Cutie mark upon his flank. I was lost for words as I got a better look at him, I don't know why but...I considered him to be...rather...handsome. I felt my face heat up around him, like some school filly with a crush.
“Sorry Big Macintosh, I kinda got distracted, we're on our way to the hospital.” Big Macintosh pointed towards a huge white building just behind him with one his hooves.
“Mind if ah joined y'all, ah gotta see if AJ is alright she done gone worked herself to hard again.” Frostlit nodded in agreement, it couldn't hurt after all he seemed like a good pony I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be the strong silent type...judging from his muscles...very strong ...I couldn’t help myself from staring, taking in every detail of his handsome features.
A few minutes later arrived and said our goodbyes to Big Macintosh. We arrived at the reception, and from the looks of it they just came out of an emergency considering how worn down some of the staff looked.
“I take it there was a few injuries whilst Luna was in my world, Frost?” she nodded,
“It took a lot for the princess and the others to stabilize Equestria, not many ponies know exactly what happened though.” Frost explained.
From what I've seen so far, I had expected to be more damage than this but I guess this was the work of the Elements of Harmony. I made a note to ask Luna about that later on.
“Silent Passion?!” A nurse called, “The doctor will see you now.” I made my way into the examination room, and was greeted with a simple take a seat. The doctor reassured me that this is nothing more than physical, as the doctor examined me various “Hmm's” “Aha's” and “I see's” could be heard followed by the snapping of a rubber glove....
“SWEET JESUS!! THATS COLD!!!” I howled, as I leapt up in surprise. I felt so violated...
”Well Ms Passion, you are for all intents and purposes a perfectly healthy mare, but given your situation though you won't be able to have foals and from the looks of it you have abnormality with the lense of your left eye. Did you by any chance wear glasses before your change?” I nodded in confirmation...while I doubted I could have foals in the first place, I was a little upset being told the piece of news.
“There's only one more thing to do and we are done!” The doctor said with an all to happy smile for my liking. He pulled out a syringe...oh god it's an injection...I hate injections...I loathe injections...I despise
“Help...” I whimpered in fear, as the doctor approached me.
Various sounds of crashing, screaming and crying ensued. Frostlit Shard sighed as the chaos inside the room continued for, while the other patients were laughing their asses off. It took 5 other nurses to hold me down as the doctor now a little battered gave me the shot.
“You really had to make this difficult didn't you?” Frostlit was on the verge of laughing on the floor when she saw my misfortune.
“I hate injections... so very, very much...” I simply stated, “We shall never speak of this evil again 'kay.”
“Y’all okay over there? Ah heard all that racket you were makin'.” We turned to see Big Macintosh looking round at the damage,
“Nothing was injured bar my pride, how's your sister doing?” I asked trying desperately to hid my embarrassment, and that blush I felt resurfacing.
“She'll be up an at'em within a day or two, She's a stubborn that sister of mine.” Grinning he was about to take his leave, “Ah reckon I'll be seein' you two later, if y’all don't mind ah got mah errands to run.” With that he took his leave, my eye's seemed glued to his sexy flank as he walked out of the hospital. I shook my head in confusion, sure I've found guy's cute before but I could say the same about a few of the ladies I met over the course of my life, this though...was new.
“Wow, that has got to be the most I've heard him say.” Frostlit said in amusement, “C'mon Silent Passion we have one more stop before we get back.” Frostlit was definitely...a spirited mare to say the least, but nonetheless I followed her to our next destination.
We eventually arrived at what seemed to be a boutique, shaped like a carousel? “Well that's something I haven't seen in years.” Frostlit Shard went in first, and I followed suit.
“Welcome to the grandest tailor and boutique in Canterlot.” She said in awe, I looked around seeing various pony shaped manikins, sketches of dresses, and various types of fabric. Frostlit said she was going let the owner we were here.
In the meantime I walked over and examined some of the sketches, whoever the designer was is definitely talented. I looked over them with a critical eye, good colour schemes, shapes that flattered the body, the use of gemstones however was not to my taste...was it the signature of the artist? I took note of an unfinished drawing, it was a long flowing dress separated into two parts, uncoloured
and lacking the gemstone it had a simple feel to it, which I liked...
“Darling, it is very unladylike to go snooping through another mares things.” I turned to see a marsh mellow white unicorn mare with a purple mane and three gemstones for a Cutie mark.
“Are you the designer of these dresses?” I asked, she nodded with a small smile,
“I see you have an eye for fashion deary, did anything catch your eye?” I pointed to that unfinished piece, “Oh sadly I have been in ever the most frustration with that piece, I can't seem to come up with a theme for it.” I took another look at it,
“How about blue for the outer layer with black for the inner layer, possibly a thin gold edge to make them stand out more?” The mare took a look at the design, nodded
“It's simple but genius!” she exclaimed in excitement, “But I must ask, are you a designer?” I was but not the kind she was thinking of,
“I am a designer of sorts, but I don't specialise in the kind of designing you do though.” I said embarrassed, “Any way, Frost why are we here?” I asked to change the subject.
“The princesses are holding the annual gala at the end of the week, so we are here to pick you up a dress.” Frost said that a bit to enthusiastically for my liking,
“Fair enough, but why am I going?” I asked, “Well Princess Luna did mention that this would be a good chance to learn about our culture so to speak.” Well that cinched it, who am I to argue with Luna, she must have her reasons after all.
“Hang on a second! With all the chaos going on in both worlds why are we holding a gala of all things?” This was bothering me a bit,
“The princesses decided to let life carry on as normal here to avoid a mass panic. There's very few that know what's going on, in fact most ponies don't even know you're originally Human.” She added.
“Oh so your the mare I've heard so much about, I'm Rarity by the way.”
“Silent Passion, it's a pleasure to meet you Rarity.” Unfortunately we were interrupted by a...unwanted guest.
“Why hello there, and what can I do for you lovely young fillies on this wonderful day.” I could practically hear Rarity mutter something about rotting in a ditch under her breath. The stallion gave a mischievous grin, good lord did he think he was god's gift to women.
“And, you are...?” I asked, “I am prince Blueblood, at your service my fine lady.” Rarity gave a quick whistle and soon enough, a small white grumpy looking cat entered the room.
“Opal dear this is Blueblood.” Rarity said pointing a hoof a the stallion in question, “Could please make like a squirrel?” That cat just hissed and launched itself at him like it possessed.
“Your going to have to teach me how you got your cat to do that, Rarity.” I laughed my backside off at Blueblood's misfortune. Various cries of pain could be heard as Rarity, Frost and I continued laughing,
There was awkward moment of silence between us all after the laughter subsided. He limped off in a huff, good riddance for all I care,
“Who let him out of his cage?” I said simply,
“Oh don't you worry about him deary, he's just a pest that's all...” She assured me he was nothing to concern myself with, though if he does so much as look at me with that lecherous look again, I'm going to castrate him...again.
“Now do you have any ideas which dress you want?” Rarity pulled out a catalogue of various dresses she had designed, but none really took my fancy.
“How about that unfinished one?” I asked, and she was ecstatic of the idea, “Oh darling, I promise you, you'll be the bell of the gala once I'm done!” We bid Rarity goodbye, and headed back to the palace.
“Do you have any idea of where to look for the Elements of Harmony in your world, Silent?” Frostlit asked,
“Honestly I have no clue, Luna and I think we can recreate them from shards but how though remains to be seen.” I still hadn't a clue about how we would recreate them though.
The evening was a little uneventful, so I retired to my room for the time being. Looking out at the evening sky you wouldn't think I was in different world now...I wondered how my family was doing briefly. I closed my eyes I could faintly hear the sound of music and a choir? The music was beautiful, yet familiar to me...ah yes I recognise the piece: Memoro de la Stono. Given the mood I did something well foalish of me, something I don't openingly do around anyone...I sang.

I didn't realise I had company, as I had been lost in moment while I was singing. I turned round and saw I my singing had caught the attention of Celestia. I immediately turned the brightest shade of red possible from embarrassment,
“That was wonderful singing, definitely something that came from the heart. I'm beginning to see why you took the name Silent Passion, though sadly that isn't why I'm here.” Getting over my embarrassment, I asked her,
“Why are you here then? Is there any news of my world?” She shook her head,
“I'm afraid not sadly, but I have good news...Luna has found a Shard of Harmony.” This was unexpected.
“How?” I wondered.
“It was created, when you entered in that covenant with my sister. Thus making you an Element bearer in the making.” Celestia stated with a bright smile, “My little pony, the Elements of Harmony are created and strengthened by the bonds we have with others. Be it pony or humankind it's those bonds with others that make us who we are.”
“So by making bonds with others, we can remake an Element. I would imagine it would have to be a genuine bond though.” Celestia nodded,
“Yes, this is something that cannot be forced nor faked.”
“I'm glad you decided to help Luna, on that night. Although you lost your former body, you were rewarded with a chance to start again, as the person you were meant to be.” Celestia was right, ever since I woke up in my new body, I felt...free to be to who I really am. As the old me, I was afraid of myself, of what people thought, confused about my place in the world...on the worst days I couldn't even look at my own reflection.
Although I made a few friends, I wondered how this would change how they saw me. It was because of my friends, the bonds I had with them that made it all bearable.
“I swear never to abandon those who I cared for, to protect those bonds with my very life!” I remembered that promise, those words were carved into my very being that day...
“We're friends no matter what happens, right mate.” Words like that gave me strength, when I needed it most...
“With the friends I have, being loyal is the least I could be. To betray someone like that goes against everything I believe!” Celestia's warm smile grew bigger,

Life in Equestria Arc Pt 2: Heated Moments at a Grand Gala.
Over the next few days, everyone was preparing for the gala, little by little everything was coming together slowly and surely thanks to the efforts of everyone. “It would be our dear Frostlit Shard here.” However as good news as this was, “Unfortunately, it would seem another of the Shards has reappeared in the Human world. Where though we have no idea, we have a way to find it though, or to be more precise you do, Silent Passion.” I was going to ask how but...
“I suggest you leave that to me.” I heard a familiar voice speak.
“No...that couldn't be...?” I said in shock and utter disbelief.
“Ah Solaire, I'm glad you could finally join us.” Celestia greeted him warmly, I turned to face our guest, a dark grey furred earth pony with blue eyes, and blonde mane and tail with red streaks running through parts of it. His Cutie mark was single sword with a sun behind it. He took one look at me,
“Have we met before?” I was a little upset but given my appearance I'm not surprised.
“Dunno you tell me blondie ? I would think you would remember your best friend.” It took a moment to sink in before it finally clicked.
“Silent? Is that really you?” I nodded, “We'll catch up later, any how you were saying your highness.” Celestia glanced at Solaire,
“Solaire here holds a shard of the third element, Honesty.” She explained, “In the coming weeks you will be preparing to return to the human world, Luna will be accompanying you along with Macintosh due to...recent events regarding Ms Passion, which I would like to keep private regarding why.” Celestia made thoughtful pose, “I would also advise you introduce yourselves properly to our element bearers.”
An hour later Solaire came up to my room to catch up. Good god I hated it when he had that smirk on his face. “So care to explain how you ended up in my situation, Silent?” He asked,
“Well Sol, I was beaten within an inch of my life and Luna saved my life. I'm more interested in how you got here?” I asked in return, “Nothing special, I was looking into these disappearances out of curiosity and...” He hesitated,
“You fell down the rabbit hole didn't you?” I finished, a little amused with his situation curiosity always was his downfall. Solaire just shook his head, obviously I was missing something here.
“I'll explain that later, besides I do have one question for you though. Why are you a mare? I would imagine you'd like myself be a stallion...unless...” He pointed his hoof at me, causing me to blush a little. I mumbled something, “I can't here you.” Tch fine..
”I said, the same spell that was cast on you bases it's form on the targets personality unlike you though my body was destroyed by said spell. What you see here is my true form...how I should be... ” I explained, Solaire gave a thoughtful pose,
“Gender flipping aside, How have you been mate?” He asked smiling. “Is everyone alright at home? What about the our friends?”
“Sol...Everyone's missed you...I missed you. After you disappeared Jay and I have been looking for any clues of what happened to you but we turned up nothing, even Jay couldn't remember what happened before you saved him.” I hugged Solaire trying my hardest not to cry. “Thank god your safe...” We caught up with what happened over the month of Solaire's disappearance, how his family missed him, what happened with my family, how our friends returned to being their normal selves and how I met Luna.
“So, what's up with you and Macintosh then, did something happen?” He asked. Oh god no...if I told him this, he would freak big time...It wasn't private knowledge between us that I cross-dressed in private, or when it was just us two on the town. Solaire though had a bit of a mixed attitude towards people who are...well bisexual or gay, he didn't hate or discriminate people like that but the subject would make him uncomfortable more so if said person was well...leading him on...
”Sol if I tell you, you have to promise me that you will no tell anyone especially my parents! Cause if you do I will damn well make sure you never have any kids do you understand me?” I made my point clear, causing him to take a few steps back out of fear. “Macintosh and I are...I mean...we had...sex that night, due to Blueblood's stunt with the food and drink...” I explained going bright red.
“Do you regret it? Be honest with me here.” Solaire asked sternly, he always was protective of others.
“That's the thing, I don't. I'm really fucking confused here...I mean sure I'm both a woman and a mare now, which has made me happy beyond all belief...but even if I could return to being human, my body was destroyed Sol! It would be a women's body I would be returning to. You know how my parents are with the LBGT thing.” I felt like I was going to break down again...keep it together Passion.
“Ah...that issue, not gonna lie here, you know I've always been little freaked out but I understand your situation.” He reassured me, “Besides I'm not the kinda guy who ditches his friends due to something as petty as that. Just go with what feels right, and you'll be fine.”
“C'mon I imagine they're all waiting for us.” Solaire gestured to follow.
In one of the meeting rooms we were greeted by Luna, Macintosh and Frost. Macintosh made his way over towards me and led me to my seat next to him, Solaire kept a expressionless look as he watched us...
“At least he's treating her well...” Solaire mused, making a note to chat with Macintosh later. “Luna can I ask you something?” Luna gestured as if to go on, “Silent Passion has informed me of what happened that night, but I have to ask how come she is acting like well...a mare?” Solaire asked curiously,
“The spell in question didn't affect her personality or her mind, she is only acting like that because it's natural for her.” Luna explained,
“Ah...So she was transgendered? I just assumed he was into cross-dressing.” Solaire wondered to himself, “No wonder she was nervous earlier.” He muttered to himself. Soon enough we were joined by the Equestrian Elements of Harmony,
“Would y’all mind keepin' that there mushy stuff down?” Applejack asked as she entered the room,
“Hohoho? Well I must say I simply know my intuition was right on the mark, you've only been here only a week and you've already bagged a stallion. Darling we simply must chat later.” Rarity added when she saw us.
“LOOK OUT BELOW!!!!” shortly after a light blue, rainbow coloured maned pegeasus crashed into the room,
“Dashie! I thought I told you to slow down!” A purple alicorn scolded at the pegeasus, “I do apologise, Rainbow here is a little bit of a speed freak.” The pegeasus, Rainbow responded with a smirk on her features.
“Aw, but Twi I thought you love it when I go hard and fast?” Rainbow teased, causing the alicorn to blush heavily.
A few minutes later we were joined by Fluttershy and a hyper active pink blur of an earth pony, moving and hopping around at speeds that would make a certain hedgehog jealous.
“Now that we are all here why don't you all introduce yourselves?” Luna asked.
“I'm Silent Passion, a pleasure to meet you all. I'm apparently holding a shard of the human element of Loyalty.” This caught Rainbow's interest, “I've already met Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack.”
“I'm Solaire, I hold a shard of the human element of Honesty. Passion and I go back a few years, I'm also in the service of her majesty Princess Celestia.” Solaire explained bluntly. He's never been one for introductions.
“We've all met already, but I hold a shard of the human element of Kindness. Even though I'm not human originally.” Frost happily quipped.
“As Ms Passion as stated, she has already met myself, Applejack and our dear Fluttershy. I hold the Element of Generosity, Applejack has the Element of Honesty and Fluttershy has the Element of Kindness.” Rarity explained, Solaire gave Fluttershy a quick look, causing her to shrink a bit under his gaze.
“Hey Silent, 20 bits says Fluttershy here is the most dangerous one in the room.” I shot him a glance,
“Deal.” I agreed.
“Anyhow, I'm Twilight Sparkle, I hold the Element of Magic, and over here is Rainbow dash.” Twilight pointed to Rainbow Dash.
“Element of Loyalty at you service.” She said as she puffed her chest out proudly.
“Ooo, Ooo, do me, do me!! My turn!!!” The hyper pink pony giggled madly, “I'm Pinkie Pie, but you can call me Pinkie, I'm the Element of Laughter you got that?” Pinkie all but rushed that sentence,
“Um okay...I'm happy to meet you, Pinkie.” The pony in question, giggled madly, “I got my eye on you, I bet your as fun as Dashie. Okie-dokie-lokie.”
“Pinkie that ain't no way to talk to our guests.” Macintosh said sternly,
“So your the mare that bagged Big Mac?” Rainbow asked, making me feel a little like Fluttershy.
“Do you really want to go down that route, Dash?” I warned, not wanting my privacy invaded.
“Bring it! In fact what can you tell us about all of us element bearers?” She dared. I took a deep breath before speaking.
“Your sleeping with Twilight even though may or may not deny it, AJ isn't to happy with me at the moment due to incidents I won't say out of respect of present company. Rarity is a brilliant designer who I hope to work with in the future. Pinkie can and will end me, if I break any sort of promise most likely with some sort of baked good.” I shivered, “Flutters here wouldn't surprise me if she could pull of a Shun Goku Satsu, and Twi here would like to dress you up as Princess Celestia just so she could have her nasty little way with you.” I said flatly.

Every one turned to Twilight, whose wings were now fully erect and spread out. She was blushing and drooling a bit too. Damn I was making up that last one. Solaire gave a chuckle,
“You'll have to forgive my friend there, she doesn't like her privacy invaded by anyone.” He explained.
“Any how...” Luna coughed, “You are all aware of our situation, and our first priority is rescuing those human turned ponies and finding the remaining shards and the remaining elements. Solaire we understand you have some information to share.”
“Yes, when I started investigating these disappearances I was attacked by a some monsters, controlled by an entity called Malice who was controlling one of our friends back home. He was using some sort of crystal pillar to control people and apparently draining the positive energy out of them.” Solaire explained, “The monsters he was using belonged to Jay...the ones straight out of a card game...” He didn't mean that game did he? “I ended up destroying him and that crystal pillar with a monster of my own, but it caused the reality of the area to distort and collapse. I got Jay out of the area but I got caught in the rift, and the next thing I knew I ended up here.”
“Another case of fiction becoming reality?” I mused, Solaire gave me a quizzical look. “On the way here Luna and I were attacked by Kalame'et.” I explained, the look on his face said it all. “Then we'll need back up big time.” Solaire stated flatly.
“That is why I am coming with you.” Luna insisted, “We don't know what else we would encounter.”
“Speaking of which?” Solaire tossed a deck of cards in my direction, “I believe these are yours. If we are going to be fighting monsters from that particular game, then why not fight fire with fire?” Luna gave Solaire a curious look, “If those particular monsters are appearing then someone is summoning them. I reckon if we find him we'll get some answers I highly doubt he was working alone.” I took note of what Solaire was saying,
“But what about keeping hidden, ponies aren't exactly welcome back home.” I added, Solaire gave me a funny look.
“What do you mean?” He asked, Luna grimaced,
“It would seem humans aren't exactly treating our kind with kindness.” She said simply, “Even so leave that detail to my sister and I.”
“What's our situation then?” Solaire asked,
“Celestia as arranged a more permanent place to stay in the human world. It's just the last few details we need to prepare, anyhow over the next fortnight each of you will be learning to improve your talents. We must ask Solaire do you have anything to add, you've known Silent Passion here longer than us all. Can you tell us how she is a combat situation?” Luna inquired, Solaire gave a quick grin in my direction.
“She's naturally the sneaky type if that disappearing trick of hers is any indication, not much of a fighter in close combat though.” I frowned at that last part, “but I would give her plenty of ranged and defensive options.”
“She's not good in close combat?” Luna gave a curious look, “Well yes and no. She has the technique down perfectly but lacks any sort of power.”
“And what about yourself?” Solaire gave a thoughtful look, “I would say I'm more of a front line fighter. Magic wise I've got nothing but what your sister taught me.” Luna nodded, “Since we'll be going against those monsters leave them to us.” I smirked I was going to enjoy that.
“Anyhow that is all for now. Silent Passion can we have word for you in private.” Luna asked,
“If you don't mind me I'll have to see your sister your highness.” Every one left leaving just Luna and myself.
“What do you make of Solaire, Silent Passion?” Luna asked,
“He's a childhood friend, a little to honest for his own good but a good guy nonetheless.” I explained. Luna was quiet for a moment,
“It seems I'll be teaching you a few new spells, if Celestia has been training Solaire it is almost certain he's learnt a few of the sunlight miracles.” She explained,
“How can Solaire use magic? He isn't a unicorn or an alicorn.” I asked curiously,
“It is most likely he entered a covenant with Celestia like you did with myself, the only difference being you have more magic to work with.” Luna left silently thinking to herself,
“Well dear sister, we guess we'll be teaching her a few of our more personal spells.”
Back on Earth...
A hooded figure just looked on in disgust at the unconscious bodies of Fenix and Jay, he could feel the voice of his shadowy partner laughing at the delicious look of betrayal on their faces. The hooded figure however wasn't laughing...

Illusion of Identity Arc Pt 1: Home Once More.
We all began making our final preparations for our journey back to the human world. Living in Equestria was wonderful experience and to be honest it felt a little like home, Luna herself is becoming less of a mentor and more of a mother to me over the past few weeks I've been living here. The sad thing is after hearing and seeing some of the damage done I'm finding myself caring less and less about humanity, as for as I'm concerned I'm doing this to save the people I care for.
“Are you ready yet, Silent?” Solaire asked, I nodded. He gave me a sceptical look as if to say 'be straight with me here.
“I'm a little nervous Solaire, what we're about to do, my parents and our friends reactions to my new human form...you know how they are.” I said worryingly,
“Try not to worry about it, mate. You know we'll have your back no matter what.” Solaire reassured.
“Ah reckon it'll be fine.” Macintosh comforted me, as he entered the room followed by Frost and Luna.
“Mac's right it'll be fine if we all stick together.” Frost said cheerily,
“If everyone's ready we'll go over the final details.” Luna stated, we all nodded. “My sister will be opening a portal to the human world which will take us to our temporary home which Celestia has managed to obtain for us. Once we rest we'll begin to search for clues regarding these monster and crystal sightings Solaire told us about, if we are fortunate we should find some information regarding the worlds fusing together.”
“Now let us make haste to the royal throne room.” Luna ordered. This is it Solaire and I will be going home, I wonder how his family will react to seeing him back given he's been gone for so long.
“Is every one ready?” Celestia asked as we entered the throne room, we all nodded. “What your doing for us, Silent Passion and Solaire. I thank you on behalf of Equestria and please watch yourselves out there.” Celestia's horn began to glow giving off a soft warm light that enveloped the room in colours that reminded me of a warm summers morning. A portal opened up like before and we all galloped as fast as we could through the disorientating pathways.
The trip was a lot safer this time round, soon enough we all found ourselves in the living room of a large apartment. I gave a quick look round, the apartment had quite a modern yet minimalist look like something you would expect a very well off person to have.
“Is every pony okay?” Frost asked,
“Ah'm fine, ah feel a bit funny though.” Macintosh added. We all looked at ourselves, and found we were all...human?
Solaire looked like he did normally as a human, blonde hair, blue eyes, average height and wearing his usual dark slacks, button up shirt, trench coat and white pendant in the shape of a sword around his neck.
Frost's short hair and eyes matched her usual icy hues, a little shorter that Solaire and wore a stylish denim jacket, blouse and jeggings which were coloured in various hues of pale greens and blues.
Macintosh was easily the tallest of us, with very strong but slender build, his outfit was a simple red t-shirt and black pair of jeans, he now seemed to have some slight stubble around his jaw and he still retained his messy blonde hair though. I tried to hold my thoughts in check, but was failing miserably due to the blush appearing on my cheeks.
Luna gave of the image of woman of high class and her outfit gave her business like feeling. Her flowing shoulder length hair looked black but shone with a dark blue tint under the lighting of the room, all in all she looked like she could be a model with that body of hers.
“How bad is it?” I asked, Solaire pointed to a mirror. I took a look in the mirror and gasped.
I was now a little shorter than Solaire, my hair was now shoulder length styled so the back went over my left shoulder, My eye's hadn't changed much aside the fact I no longer had those dark marks around them that all my family seemed to have. Lips were a bit fuller looking and slightly pinker than I remembered. I looked down...my body hadn't changed much beside the fact I was a bit more curvy than I was normally and I was bit amused I had B-cup sized breasts.
I was wearing a dark blue dress with black jeggings, and I still had my favourite jacket on. I frowned and clicked my fingers causing two pairs of thin framed glasses to appear in front of Solaire and myself. “Much better.” I stated simply. Macintosh gave me a quick wolf whistle,
“If that's what yer look like now, ah ain't complain'.” Solaire gave him an curious look,
“You do realise she used to be a guy right?” There was awkward silence,
“So what if I was? This is me now, the real me. I'm as much a woman now as Luna and Frost, I know this is a subject your uncomfortable with Solaire but please bear with me here.” I added.
“Sorry.” He said simply.
Moving on we had a look around the apartment, it had two floors a bathroom on each, four bedrooms on the second and the kitchen/dining room combo on the bottom. Each of the bedroom doors had our respective Cutie Marks on them so well could tell what room belonged to who. I took note of my door and blushed a little. Solaire caught this and chuckled, as my bedroom door not only had my Cutie Mark but Macintosh's as well.
While the fact that Macintosh and I slept together due to that incident caused by Blueblood was not secret amongst our group, the fact Macintosh and I found ourselves getting to know each other better during my time in Equestria was not such common knowledge as I kept that between myself and Macintosh. He came one evening and asked if I would be willing to get to know him better, and it sort of went further from there.
“Something you need to tell us you two?” Luna asked amused,
“Ah ain't sayin' a thing.” Macintosh said flatly trying to hide a smirk, Solaire gave me a look and shook his head. “It's your life.” He said shrugging his shoulders.
“Shall I call your families to let them know your back?” Luna asked, Solaire nodded.
“Call hers first, they'll let my family know I'm back.” Luna did just that and passed the phone over to me.
“Mom, I'm back. Solaire's with me as well, could you let his mother know he's here. Okay I'll see you soon Mom.” The conversation was short and sweet, I never was one for talking over the phone. “They'll be here in the morning, if it's all the same to you I'm going to bed.” I said simply as I made my way to my room.
Inside I found that the dresser draws had been stocked full of clothing, I blushed a little at some of the contents...I really need to have a word with Rarity when I next see her. I got changed into a simple cropped vest and shorts and just drifted off. An hour or two later I found myself curling up to something warm, without thinking I cuddled up to it.
“Mm...warm...mine...” Macintosh gave an amused smile and kissed my forehead.
“How did ah get mah self into this situation?” He thought to himself, recalling the events that had happened over in Equestria.“Meh, no matter Ah'm a very lucky stallion.” The morning always came a little too quickly for my liking.
“C'mon honey, time to wake up.” Macintosh said gently,
“Mm, don't want to. Too comfy.” I mumbled tiredly, hugging him more tightly to emphasize my point.
“Passion! Solaire! Your families are here.” Luna announced, might as well get up then.
“Where's my son, is he okay?” Solaire's mother said worryingly,
“Jeez Mom, I'm 24, I'm not a kid any more.” Solaire said simply as he walked down the stairs to the living room. “Where the hell have you been, Sol?” His younger brother, Andre asked.
“We'll get to that soon enough Andre.” Solaire replied simply. A middle aged man looked at Luna, and asked.
“So where's our son then?” Luna sighed, wondering how to deal with the impatient man.
“Getting ready as we speak.” Mom was getting anxious, secretly hoping that their son was back to how he should be. She didn't realise though that this wish fell upon deaf ears.
“Silent will be down soon honey.” She reassured her husband. No sooner she said that I came down out of the bedroom, and was met with silence and the look of disapproval from my stepfather.
“Mom, Dad,” I greeted simply,
“H-how?” Mom asked, “I thought you would return to how you were before?” Dad had a frown on his face, which turned into a scowl when he saw Macintosh come out of the same bedroom. Andrew's response said it all.
“What the fuck happened to you?” Solaire slapped him upside the head, “Language Andre! That's no way to talk to a lady.” Solaire scolded.
“Explain.” Dad seethed, which Luna did. After she finished Dad shook his head,
“No I meant how come he .” Dad corrected pointing to Macintosh, “Is sharing a room with my s-...daughter ?” Luna was about to explain, but I caught Mom eyeing him up and down. I gave her a look to tell her not to bother. Mom had that gleam in her eye that basically meant she was up to something.
“Solaire would you mind explaining to your family how you ended up with us?” Luna asked, before turning to me and my mother glaring each other down. “This is going to give me a headache, I know it.”
I tried to come up with some made up excuse, so my parents wouldn't kill us both. Until Mom started flirting with Macintosh much to mine and Dads horror.
“Macintosh isn't a piece of meat Mom! Stop eyeing him up as if he was...” I warned her, the way she was looking at him was unnerving to say the least...and he was spoken for but I didn't want them to know that. Macintosh was completely speechless, unsure what to say or do about Mom's flirting. Dad being Dad was fuming.
“You've been gone nearly a month, you come back as a woman and you're sharing a room with another man?” He stated simply,
“Yes so what if I am?” I answered back, “Macintosh is kind, caring, very loyal and understanding. He's been nothing but a wonderful friend, and has been showing me around Equestria?”
“Huh? Deja vu.” Solaire muttered, “Don't go there blondie .” I hissed, under my breath. “Look can I have a moment to speak with my friends in private please.” Mom and Dad both nodded as we went into the next room to chat. Luna thankfully cast a silencing charm so we wouldn't be overheard.
“How come you two kept this from us?” Frost asked, “I thought it was a one off between you two?”
We told them that after that night, it left us with feelings we both didn't know what to do with and well...I told him everything about me, how I was afraid of how my mother and stepfather will react, of how I kept my sexuality a secret from friends, and more importantly what I used to be. It made me happy when Macintosh had said he didn't care about what I used to be, and told me that the mare in front of him was the real person. Eventually we both agreed to try dating and to see where that went, because I was so insecure he would say nothing about the relationship between us until I was ready to say something.
“Given the fact we are talking about my private life here, I would rather not say anything in front of my parents.” I scolded at Frost.
“And why not?” Solaire asked worried,
“Because I knew you would react like this.” I replied a little upset. “Now is not the time to discuss this.”
In the midst of the arguing, Solaire's mother entered the room told us something that silenced the room.
“Your other friends have gone missing.”
A hooded figure walked down the streets of the colourless city, scanning his surroundings with his golden eyes he let himself smirk as everyone around him seemed to have fallen into despair. Couples arguing accusing each other of cheating on their partners, friends falling out and fighting each other accusing each other of stabbing each other in the back. The smirk grew into a satisfied grin as the various acts of betrayal were committed in his wake, piece by piece his satisfaction left him...it wasn't enough...
“They...all have to suffer for their betrayal, the whole world must suffer of what it's done to me!” The figure let out a cry of frustration as he smacked a nearby wall, before grinning once again, “They'll all suffer, even if I have to tear this world down to do it!”

“They're all missing?!” I asked worried, Luna placed a hand on my shoulder to reassure me. Solaire and I gasped, how could this happen? We only just got everyone back to normal...
“How did this happen?” Luna asked worryingly,
“They were trying to hold back some sort weird distortion spawning out monsters.” Luna looked thoughtful, “It's sounds similar to the distorted space that has been appearing back in Equestria.” Solaire took note,
“It's the same way I found my way in Equestria your highness, the monsters that are spawning out are ones Silent Passion and I are already familiar with.” Solaire explained,
“Yes we remember our sister telling us and to prepare accordingly.” Luna told them remembering her sister's words. Luna took a moment to compose herself, “It would be best if your families remained here for now. Frostlit Shard would you mind keeping them safe.” Frost nodded,
“What about the rest of you?” Mom asked entering the room, “We'll be going to stop this once and for all.” Luna stated simply, Luna made motion to follow. We all followed Luna to the roof.
“Silent Passion, Solaire, Macintosh are you all ready?” She asked, Solaire nodded as his pendant transformed in a brilliant light and we all watched in amazement as it changed shape into a knight's gauntlet with a wing like attachment shaped like a sword in its sheathe.
“A duel disk?” I said in surprise,
“Yeah unlike you two I can't use magic so this'll do the same thing you'll both be doing.” He explained. I grinned, oh I'm so going to enjoy this bit.
“Normally there are rules to this, but as this is outside the game. I can do this!” Solaire smirked as he placed a white card on his duel disks wing, “Clustering shards shine forth in the endless sky, take flight and light the way forward, Synchro Summon! Stardust Dragon!!” As soon as Solaire finished the incantation a pillar of blinding light illuminated the sky, revealing a white dragon shimmering like starlight, which he proceeded to leap on. “I'll see you there!” He cried as he took off.
“Unlike Solaire and Silent Passion. we can't simply summon a dragon, but...” Luna trailed off as she made a gesture with her hands, “We call forth Constellar Leonis and Sheratan, and use them both to create an overlay nexus! ” Both monsters appeared and transformed into orbs of various shades of golden energy and converged onto the opening overlay network, “Xyz Summon! Constellar Hyades!” From the network a giant emerged donning white and gold armor, it was wielding two identical blades. Luna leapt upon Hyades' shoulder and made the motion to follow Solaire.
All of us besides myself looked on in shock, like Solaire I had a dragon I could ride on but... the incantation for it was a bit evil sounding, ah well. I began making the same gestures as Luna, the sky began to darken with storm clouds. “Darkening skies hide the sun's rays from sight, at the eye tranquil fury smites all! Emerge from the lightning! Dark Storm Dragon!!” In flash of lightning a pitch black serpent like dragon descended out of the storm clouds. “Hop on Macintosh!” I cried, we both leapt forward upon Dark Storm and followed after Luna and Solaire.
I could of sworn I heard that inner voice laughing.
We caught up with Luna and Solaire soon enough. Luna raised a delicate brow when she saw my dragon, but said nothing regarding it's sinister appearance.
“It's best we set down here unless we get seen and attacked.” Solaire suggested. We all agreed and landed, as soon as we dismounted our monsters faded in small bits of light.
We found ourselves inside a dark miasma which was emitting roars, groans and various sounds of...fighting? “I suggest we be careful we lose here it's game over.” Solaire warned.
As soon as he finished speaking we were all separated by wall of crimson energy Luna and I gave a shriek of surprise whilst Solaire gave a low growl of annoyance.
“Kyeheheheh! Looks like we have more fun ahead of us! You think they'll but up a better fight than the others?” “Don't you agree...my dear friend...”
“...We'll seen soon enough...” Was the voices reply, Solaire and I just frowned at the familiarity of his voice.
“I do wonder what they're capable of? They might make good pawns for our cause back in the Barian world.” Another deeper sounding voice answered, sounding like it was debating something.
“Them two girlz might be worth keepin'...Ah always wanted a harem.” Another sneering voice said. Luna and I got the shivers at what that voice was implying.
“So our dear uninvited guests, I assume you all wandered here looking for those fools who tried fighting us and failed.” Solaire and I just growled at who they were implying. “Here are the rules of our little game, if you can find and beat us you'll rescue your friends however if you fail your lives and those you care for belong to us!” A familiar sneering voice threatened.
“Will you the be okay?” Luna asked
“We'll be fine.” We said simply, as we headed off in different directions
With Luna...
Luna found herself walking down a path leading into a dark forest with trees twisting in unnatural shapes. The forest itself gave off feelings of familiarity and unease as she walked through the twisted branches that seemed to be encroaching on the path, looking behind her she saw the way behind her was walled off by the branches of the trees around her as if they were denying her a way back.
“It feels like we've been walking for hours.” Luna muttered to herself, every time she would make some progress the forest seemed to cut her off. The place gave an her uneasy feeling, like she was being watched by something malicious and deceitful.
“This feeling is familiar somehow...” She mused, “...and it's like we've been here before...”
In the distance Luna saw two figures unconscious in the distance, Luna ran towards them and examined them both, one was a short curvy woman with red hair dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans, the other was a older large framed male wearing a causal short sleeved shirt and trousers.
“Ooo. Dos this mean ah git more fun, do ah?” Luna shivered when she heard the familiar voice
“You!!” She hissed angrily, a familiar figure stepped out from the shadows,
“Oh? 'ave we met luv?” the thug wondered with that gorilla like gape, “Che, nee matta, boss says ah can 'ave all the pussy ah want providin' ah beat ya in a game o'course?” With that he revealed a bracer with a wing like extension. “Da bosses magic or whateva he does is really da shit if ya follow meh.” He chuckled darkly. The realisation of who this brute of man was caused a midnight blue wisp like aura to form around Luna's hands, tightly clung into fists as Luna's anger reached it's boiling point.
“Thou art not leaving our presence unscathed!!”
With Solaire...
As Solaire continued down a bright narrow path, he found himself in what appeared to be large ruin of a school. Judging from his surroundings he concluded that this grey ruined area was the school he attended as a child.
“Must be the Grange, I haven't set foot here in years.” Solaire thought to himself. Solaire felt a familiar growl.
“Master...we are being watched...ready yourself!” The Number warned him, “He possesses power similar and far greater to my own!” Solaire searched the ruins of the school, room by room but alas found nothing.
“Where is everyone?” Solaire soon heard a dark foreboding chuckle, “Who's there?” Solaire shouted.
A long haired slender gold skinned figure, wearing what appeared to be a mask and some sort of robe like cape around his legs. Emerged from thin air as he walked towards Solaire in a prideful fashion.
“I take it you are one of the four humans who are seeking their friends.” He asked,
“Yes I am.” Solaire answered, with a snap of his figures two more figures appeared. “Jay! Fenix!”
“I am Misael! Now come at me for the lives of your friends!!”
With Silent Passion and Macintosh...
Macintosh and I found ourselves in a familiar looking ruined street, the buildings looked abandoned, drained of all their colour and were on the verge of collapsing at any given second. I realised where I was, and with a heavy heart I sighed...
“...This is the street I lived in as a child.” I muttered solemnly, “The last time I was here, it was full of life. What could of happened here? I was here only over a month ago just before I met Luna...” Macintosh gave me a sympathetic look, reassuring me that it was going to be okay.
“Ah reckon if we find what's causin' all this mess, we can find a way to undo all the damage it's causin'.” He suggested, it was a sound idea after all. I nodded in agreement and we pressed on forward. I was telling Macintosh what living here was like as child, but in reality I was trying to stop myself from being frightened by the travesty that befell this part of town.
“So you finally show up!” A hooded figure a top of the roof of one of the buildings, staring me down through his hatred filled golden eyes leapt down in front of us. “Tch...So your the fake my so called friends mentioned?” He practically spat out that last part, “Your the reason they all betrayed me?!”
“And just who the hell do you think you are?!” I spat back with equal hatred towards him, he just laughed as launched some sort of tendrils from his shadow in response. They wrapped themselves around my waist and with a simple gesture, threw me into a nearby building causing me to crash through a crumbling wall.
“I.AM.SILENT!! YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING WHORE OF AN IMPOSTER!!” The fake roared, voice full of rage. Macintosh ran up and smacked the fake with an earth shattering punch, knocking him back into the opposite wall I was flung into. In a roar of rage, a twisted black aura surrounded and exploded destroying the building around him. Yelling out in anger, “ Kyūjūroku! RELEASE RESTRAINT!”
The fake stood amongst the rubble, his hair now white, the whites of his eyes now black, his body increased in muscle mass with jet black wings sprouting from his back. The set of golden eyes he possessed stared Macintosh down with utter hatred.
“Such foolishness! Has this entire god forsaken planet been driven mad by my imposter's actions?” He wondered aloud, “Tch...no matter! Your just like that damned pony, my so called friends, my family and everyone else! I'll make sure you die along side them all!” The fake roared as he made his slow, unflinching advance towards Macintosh.
“No one...and I mean no one...” A flicker of fire burned from my very being, the very rage bring itself to a boil causing the air around me to distort with the rising heat, “...Ever harms the people I love and gets away with it!!” A pillar of flames shot out from around me, fuelled by the resolve that came with my anger. “...You want to go all out? Fine then, I'll show you what I'm like when I hold nothing back!! I'll show you...the real...RELEASE RESTRAINT!!!” The intensity of the flames increased tenfold, forcing my fake to be driven back by the heat. A single figure emerged from the flames, a set of golden eyes staring him down with an intensity that dwarfed his own.
Around my arm was ornate black and blue gauntlet with a flame like wing extending from it's side, in response he opened his own arm into a similar looking wing and a crimson sphere engulfed us all.
“DUEL!!”
The Blaze of Loyalty, Silent Passion (8000LP) Versus The Illusion of Betrayal, False Silent (8000LP).
False Silent Turn...
“I'll start this off you fake! Draw! From my hand I set one monster, then I activate the spell card: Dark World Dealings!” The fake declared, “We both discard one card from our hands and draw one from our decks! I set a card and end my turn there!”
Silent Passion turn...
“I'll draw! First of all, I play the field spell card: Chaos Zone! Whenever a monster is banished this card gains a Chaos Counter! If you destroy it I can add a light or dark monster from my deck to my hand, who's level is equal or less to the number of chaos counters it had!” I shouted, as I played my field spell the world around us became distorted space like the void between this world and Equestria, several white vortexes surrounded the space around us. “I summon from my hand Dark Valkyria! (Lv4/1800 ATK) While this card is first summoned to the field, or is in the graveyard it is treated like a normal monster!”
My Valkyria emerged from one of the white vortexes in a trail of violet like flames, donning a black and silver lined armor and wings protecting her dark blue skin. Her arms folded in an unamused fashion towards my fake.
“Now Valkyria attack his set monster!” I ordered, with her claw like fingers she cut his face down monster to ribbons, while the monster was destroyed it had split itself into two more copies of itself.
“I activate my Giant Germ's effect! When it's destroyed in battle I can special summon two more to take it's place!” The two germs revealed themselves, the sight of them alone was enough to make me sick... “Also whenever Giant Germ is destroyed I can inflict 500 damage straight at you! Now choke the life out of her!” He roared, the germ that was destroyed released some spores that began making me choke and gasp for air.
Silent Passion 8000 LP → 7500 LP.
“I set two more cards and end my turn!” I declared, as I gathered my breath back.
False Silent turn...
“Draw! I activate the spell card: Monster Reincarnation! I discard one card from my hand, to regain the germ you destroyed and I summon it back to the field!” The Giant Germ reformed itself from the remains left from Valkyria's attack. “Now I use all three to create the overlay nexus! From the blackest pits of greed, drain out and consume it all! XYZ SUMMON!! NUMBER 96: BLACK MIST!!! (Rank 2/100 ATK)”
The three germs transformed each into a violet light and entered the nexus, resulting in an explosion of white energy. I noticed he was clutching his heart as he summoned his Number. The monster itself rose from the nexus, I watched on in horror as the monsters features began to shoot out from it's oil like body.
“KYAHAHAHAHAH! My dear Silent, I see you need my power once more!” “...You know what to do...My dear puppet!”
“Y-YES MASTER! I ACTIVATE MY SPELL CARD!!! RANK UP MAGIC – BARIAN'S FORCE!! H-HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!” He roared in laughter, “G-go now and evolve! Let the insanity fuel your power further! CHAOS XYZ CHANGE! NUMBER C96: BLACK STORM!!! (Rank 3/1000 ATK)” Macintosh and I watched on in horror as that monstrosity twisted itself into a more maddening form, as it became more feral like in appearance.
“What in tarnation is happenin' to that thing?!” Macintosh exclaimed.
“His monster has ranked up! It causes it to evolve and becomes more powerful!” I shouted over the monsters howl, readying itself to attack.
“Black Storm attack! I'll use it's effect: During the battle phase I can target a monster you control and drain it of it's strength! GO SHADOW GAIN!!” Tendrils shot out of Black Storms mouth as it absorbed an overlay unit. Ensnaring Valkyria and sucking the life out of her and leaving her a shrivelled corpse as it tore into her with it's claws and maw, before throwing her corpse at me. (Black Storm 1000 ATK → 2800 ATK, Dark Valkyria 1800 ATK → 0 ATK)
Silent Passion 7500 LP → 4700 LP.
“Passion! Y'all okay?!” Macintosh shouted, as I got up from the impact of having my own monster thrown back at me.
“I'm fine, Macintosh! Don't worry about me, I'll be okay!” I reassured him.
“Oh how amusing, are you still buying that whore's lies? I end my turn!” The fake declared laughing with the insanity that monster seemed to be causing him.
Silent Passion turn...
“DRAW! From my hand I summon Gemini Scorpion! (Lv4/1700 ATK) and with their effect I summon Future Samurai! (Lv4/1600 ATK)” I shouted, from two of the vortexes emerged a samurai wearing glowing neon blue armor readying his blade and twin warriors, one male and the other female standing back to back ready to attack. “Next I give the equip spell: Supervise to Future Samurai!” Samurai's armour shone brighter signifying his effect being fully active. “Supervise activates the effect of any Gemini monster it's equipped to!” I explained, “Now I activate his effect! Once per turn I can banish one monster from my graveyard to destroy one face up monster on the field! Samurai destroy Dark Storm!”
Chaos Zone 0 counters → 1 counter.
“Think again! I activate the continuous trap: Number's Wall! Thanks to this card Dark Storm can only be destroyed by battle or a card effect of another Number monster!” The Fake roared to defend his monster from Samurai's effect. Future Samurai swung his sword down creating a shock wave that should of bisected his target, but it was cancelled out my that damned shield cloaking Dark Storm.
“Fine then! I play my spell card: Mystical Space Typhoon! With this I destroy one spell or trap card on the field! I target Number's Wall!” I roared, as a large typhoon blew away the veil around his monster.
“Tch bring it then you imposter! Black Storm is all I need to destroy you! I don't need anyone else!!” The fake shouted frantically, “It's hopeless they'll all betray you in the end too! Just like they all did to me!”
“Your wrong! Your nothing more than an illusion, that Luna created! I don't know why or how your still around. A week was all you had, but seeing you now and what you've allowed yourself to become! I'll burn away all your betrayals into nothing but ashes! I construct an overlay network! XYZ SUMMON! HEROIC CHAMPION – EXCALIBUR! (Rank 4/2000 ATK)” I roared, a warrior clad in crimson armor with a flame like design upon his chest rose out of the nexus, wielding a large sword with a phoenix motif upon it's hilt.
“Supervise effect! Whenever Supervise is sent to the Graveyard, I can special summon one normal monster to my side of the field! A determination ignites as an unyielding passion blazes forward! Emerge from the flames and be reborn! My very soul! PHOENIX GEARFRIED!!! (Lv8/2800 ATK)” Another warrior emerged in a bright burst of flames, clad in white, red and gold armor readying his sword and shield to attack. “Now I activate Excalibur's effect! I detach two overlay units to double his Attack strength! (Excalibur 2000 ATK → 4000 ATK) I now play the spell card: Soul Release! I banish the two monsters in my graveyard and the two in yours!”

“W-What!?” The Fake exclaimed, “That would mean my Giant Germ and the Blade Knight I sent to the graveyard...”
Chaos Zone 5 counters → 1 counter.
“...Is now mine for the taking! I activate the effect of Chaos Zone! Once per turn I can remove the counters on it to special summon a banished monster to my field! I summon your Blade Knight! (Lv4/1600 ATK)” A silver armoured knight emerged from the vortex and took it's place alongside Gearfried and Excalibur. “I activate my trap card: Return from a Different Dimension! By paying half my life points I can summon as many of my banished monsters as I can!”
Silent Passion 4700 LP → 2350 LP.
“I summon back to the field: Future Samurai and Dark Valkyria!” My Samurai and Valkyria followed Blade Knight's lead from the vortex. “I overlay Future Samurai and Blade Knight! Xyz summon! Starliege Paladynamo! (Rank 4/2400 ATK)” In a cluster of stars the Paladin emerged and formed and stood by to attack the fakes monstrosity. “I activate Paladynamo's effect! By detaching his overlay units, he can negate the effect of your monster and reduce it's strength to nothing! (Black Storm 2800 ATK → 0 ATK)”
“N-no! T-that's impossible!” The Fake exclaimed in fear, I must admit I felt sorry for him but this has to come to an end.
“Paladynamo attack and destroy Black Storm!” I ordered, Paladynamo swung his sword at speeds faster than the human eye can track, cutting the monster into nothing but dust. The shock wave sending him back flying into the wall of the sphere around us.
False Silent 8000 LP → 5200 LP.
“Excalibur! Direct attack!” Excalibur charged forward as the fake fell from the sphere wall, swinging his sword with colossal might the force of the blow separated the fake from the shadow that was controlling it.
False Silent 5200 LP → 1200 LP.
“What?! How?! That useless fool! How could have he been overpowered by this bitch!?” “I save you from fading away and this is how you repay me?!”
“PHOENIX GEARFRIED! FINAL ATTACK!!!” This caught the shadow's attention, before he sneered at his partner's misfortune. “TARGET THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS!! KNIGHT BLAZER!!!” Gearfried launched himself at the shadow. Helpless the shadow could only watch as Gearfried brought his sword down upon it, bisecting the creature in two before exploding into white hot flames burning it and the it's card into nothing.

The sphere around us shattered like glass as it crumbled away, the monsters faded and I returned to my normal self. The fake that was being controlled was flickering in and out of existence, most likely due to not being under the influence of the shadow anymore. Macintosh and I both walked up to him, he lied there motionless and his body had reverted back to how I was after that beating. I cringed at the sight of him...
“...I-I'm sorry I put you through all this...” He coughed, struggling to breathe properly, “That shadow convinced me that I was betrayed by everyone I knew, it was like I no longer existed to them anymore...it's funny...I had all your memories, hopes and dreams...when I found out I was going to cease to exist I couldn't let that happen...” I knelt down beside my copy...
“Hey...It's alright...you're me, right? I'll make sure that those dreams never die, I promise you that much.” I reassured him, he let himself smile a little.
“...And you there, can you...please take care of her? ...I know she acts strong but give her the strength, love and understanding she deserves.” Macintosh just nodded in response, not sure of what to say. “I...always thought I was alone...but after seeing you here, as how you should be in this world. It makes happy...we're not alone...after...all...” My doppelgänger just disappeared in front of with no trace of his existence other than our own memory. I couldn't help but feel his sadness as he simply faded away...

Illusion of Identity Arc Finale: The Rampage and the Nightmare.
“Before we start answer me this, why are you here in my world?” Solaire asked Misael. As the sphere surrounded them both Misael remained silent for a moment, debating Solaire's question.
“In our world we succeeded in destroying the Astral World, however piece by piece we were deceived and hunted down by our former master, Don Thousand who at the time was using Vector as host.” Misael explained, “He created these machines that would increase the level of malice in our world so it could be used as a weapon, fortunately our leader Nasch used the power of the Numeron Code to transport us to this world before he disappeared once more.”
“That can't be right?” Solaire mused, “They never succeeded in destroying the Astral world if the anime was anything to go by...”
“And the Crystal pillars?” Solaire asked, “What do they have to do with all this?”
“I'm afraid I have no clue why you would assume they had anything to do with us, though that foolish remnant Black Mist may be using them.” Solaire looked at the unconscious bodies of Jay and Fenix.
“Are you the one that did this to them?” Solaire asked, pointing to the bodies of his friends behind him. Misael remained silent. “Then we have a problem then...I'll make this quick!”
“By all means, your welcome to try!” Misael retorted.
“DUEL!!”
Solaire (4000LP) versus Misael (4000LP)
Solaire turn...
“I draw. First I play the field spell Secret Village of the Spellcasters, neither of us can play a spell card unless we control a spellcaster type monster.” Solaire explained as the environment changed to match image on the card, Misael frowned knowing exactly what that meant. “Next I play Rapid Fire Magician (lv4/1600ATK) and activate Magical Blast which inflicts 200 LP damage for every spellcaster I control, on top that Rapid Fire Magicians effect activates adding an additional 400 LP damage.” Two bursts of energy shot towards Misael, swirling together as the effects merged and struck, Misael braced the impact and was knocked back a few feet by the force of the impact.
Misael 4000LP → 3400 LP
Misael let out a short string of curses under his breath, “Finally I set two cards face down and call it a turn.” Solaire said simply.
Misael turn...
“I commend your efforts to stop me using Barian's Force, wasted as they are. Draw!” Misael stared at Solaire, but got no reaction out of him out of his comment. “I summon Lord of Dragons! (Lv4/1200 ATK), as it is a spellcaster I can play Flute of Summoning Dragon! Whilst Lord of Dragons is on the field I can activate this card to summon two dragon type monsters from my hand.”
His monster took a hold of the horn and blew into it, letting out deafening sound, “With this effect I summon Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon and Radius, the Half Moon Dragon!” Misael declared confidently, “Chain!! I activate my quick play spell Magical Dimension! This card lets me tribute a spellcaster I control and special summon another in it's place, as well as destroy one monster my opponent controls! I release Rapid Fire Magician and summon Gagaga Magician! (Lv4/1500 ATK)” Solaire interrupted, “As I chained this card to the activation of Flute of Summoning Dragon, my spell resolves first! I target Lord of Dragons!”
As Lord of Dragons blew it's horn it was destroyed by a loud magical explosion created by the shock wave of the spell that summoned Solaire's Gagaga Magician.
“Since Lord of Dragons no longer is on the field your spell is rendered useless by my field spell!” Solaire explained, Misael cursed again frustrated by the events occurring, “I will put this simply, Misael! I know who you are, I know what you capable of and I know how to stop it!”
“Tch! I set two cards and end my turn.” Misael stated annoyed.
Solaire turn...
Misael let out a small growl at Solaire, “How can he know of me? It's impossible!” he thought to himself, “HOW!!” Misael roared in frustration,
“In this world...you're nothing more than a work fiction.” Solaire responded coldly, “You may or may not be the one who did this to my friends, but the fact you even dared to harm them is something you will soon regret!”
“Draw!!” Solaire roared, “I summon Gagaga Girl!! (Lv3/1000 ATK)” A blonde petite girl appeared next to Solaire's Gagaga Magician, “Next I activate Gagaga Magicians and Gagaga Girls effects! By declaring any level between 1 and 8 my magician becomes that level and his partner copies his level with her effect, I declare level 6! By releasing two level 6 or higher spellcasters I can summon my ace card!” Both magicians vanished in a black light becoming pitch black flames the fell to the ground and began engraving a circle of runes on the concrete floor.
“Knowledge that surpasses the blackest arts, invoke spells long since forgotten by time! Advance summon! Sorcerer of Dark Magic! (lv9/3200 ATK)” Solaire's Magician rose through the spell runes on the ground, and stared down Misael with a cold hard gaze.
“As of now anything you do is meaningless, my sorcerer's effect allows me to negate and destroy any trap card you play at my own pleasure.” Misael stepped back in fear as the magician staring him down. “I'm not done! I activate my continuous trap Call of the Haunted! This card lets me revive one monster in attack position, return Gagaga Magician! I'll follow this with Monster Reborn! Return Gagaga Girl!” Both magicians returned in a blaze of light emerging from the ground, “Now I use my magicians effects one again! Level 8!” Solaire roared, “This next part should be familiar to you! This is what you face when you go up against a duellist of this world! I use both my Level 8 Gagaga Magician and Gagaga Girl to create an overlay nexus!”
Both magician transformed into two dark orbs of energy that converged on the opening nexus, exploding in a flash of light.
"Roar throughout the entire universe. Revive, from the source of all galaxies, that flows from far back in time!! Manifest yourself, and lead me to victory! Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon! (Rank 8/3000 ATK)" A black pillar like object emerged from the nexus and began unfolding and unsealing taking on it's true shape.
“N-no...no!...NO! HOW? I'm the only true master of Tachyon Dragon!” Misael cried in confusion and fear, as he watched helplessly as his own monster took on it's shape. With an almighty roar that shook the very ground, the machine like dragon snarled as it stared down Misael with utter contempt.
“I-I activate my trap cards...” He panicked,
“Sorcerer of Dark Magic, negate and destroy them both!!” Solaire ordered, the sorcerer made a motion with his hand causing both Misael's traps to shatter into pieces. “Sorcerer of Dark Magic! Direct Attack!” Solaire ordered, his magician spun his staff and struck the ground launching Misael into the air helplessly.
Misael 3400 LP → 200 LP
Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Misael as he heard one last cry from Solaire. “FINAL ATTACK!! GALAXY-EYES TACHYON DRAGON! END THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!”
With another ground shaking roar, it launched itself at Misael. Charging it's breath attack as it sped towards him and firing a point blank blast engulfing Misael in super heated purple flames.
“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Misael screamed in unbearable agony, before falling and crashing into the floor.
Misael 200 LP → 0 LP
“T-tch, as you won I'll release...y-you friends as promised...urgh...” Misael fell unconscious and faded away, leaving Solaire alone with Jay and Fenix...
“I'm glad you guy's are alright.” Solaire spoke as he gave out a sigh of relief. A pillar of flames exploded in the distance illuminating the sky, Solaire he could of sworn he heard the scream of something inhuman as it burnt into nothingness.
With Luna...
“Thou art not leaving our presence unscathed!!” Luna roared with rage, “Prepare thyself for nightmares eternal!” With a black-blue aura Luna picked up her past attacker and with a click of her fingers snapped his arm and duel disk into pieces, causing him to scream in unspeakable pain.
“Now let us see...” Luna gave the thug a thoughtful look, “We do believe we owe thou this!” Another moment later a couple of snaps could be heard from the thugs ribcage, which was soon followed by his other limbs snapping. Amongst the screams he began coughing up blood. “We do believe we owe thou this as well!” Luna made another gesture with her hands, sending the thug flying into the direction of one of the trees. Landing with an audible snap, the thug laid beaten and broken as he whimpered and sobbed like a child.

I have no doubt this was somehow's Vectors doing.” He stated simply,
“From what I understand your Durbe, right?” I asked, Durbe nodded in confirmation. “Are you involved in this?” Durbe shook his head,
“No, Vector has took it upon himself to do this, I sent Misael to keep an eye on him as Vector...” He drifted off, “Has a habit of manipulating others.” I finished and again Durbe nodded. “On behalf of my associates I apologise, I have just heard from Misael what Vector and Black Mist did to your friends.” Durbe bowed,
“What about this crystal?” I asked pointing behind me. Durbe frowned, “What you do to it doesn't concern me, but if you destroy it it will return the infected parts of the world to normal but I doubt you could destroy it on your own.” Durbe was about to leave but stopped, “I must ask, have you seen a person named Nasch around here?” I shook my head,
“No sorry I haven't...I hope you find him soon.” I said simply, and with that Durbe left.

With another gesture my own sword appeared in my hand. I noted it's appearance as a silver and blue estoc, “Great Magic Weapon!” I cried and my sword began emitting a strong blue flame like aura.

“...” I said nothing to correct Solaire, “Look I'll explain later we need to destroy this crystal.” I stated simply. Solaire nodded, “C'mon.” Drawing his sword, it began emitting lightning,
“Sunlight Blade!” He cried. I raised a brow and chuckled,
“Dark Moon Blade!” I cried and my own sword began emitting a strong blue flame like aura.
“Are you going to help?” Solaire asked Jason and Anth.
“Show your supremacy, Master of Dragons Knight! Become fire incarnate, Sacred Phoenix of Nemphys!” They both cried as they summoned their own monsters to attack the crystal. In blaze of fury the crystal began showing the strains of our attack, cracking after we launched blow after blow.
“Dammit it's still not enough...” Solaire cursed.
“Daedalus! Black Rose Dragon! Attack the crystal!” A flower like dragon and leviathan joined in the assault, cracking the crystal further until it shattered into dust, exploding as it did so knocking us all back.
“Great Magic Shield!” I roared erecting a large magical barrier to protect us from the blast. The room around us began twist and turn, changing and distorting as it returned to its original form. I fell to my knees exhausted from the strain of erecting a barrier that large.

Reunited Arc Pt 1: Moments In Between.

“That's not what I meant, none of this makes any sense.” Fenix explained, “I mean, those were fictional characters that attacked us!” Jay nodded, seeing where Fenix was going with all this.
“In fact Fenix is right, just a day after Solaire vanished everything returned to normal with no one remembering what had happened to them.” Jay pondered to himself, “Silent, Solaire, just how deep in this are you both in this?” Jay got up and made his way to his new room.
“We'll find out tomorrow, so there's no point in worrying about it now.” Jay said, “Goodnight Fenix.”

Reunited Arc Pt 2: Family Matters.

Prelude Arc Pt 1: Vibrant Colours.

The dragon seemed to be debating something and if anything it seemed just as confused as he was.

Journey to Harmony Pt 2: Family and Identity.
Luna pretty much slept the day away whilst I familiarised myself with walking on four legs, crashing and tumbling as I got used to my new body and attempting to use magic to move things around. “This again...I thought you put that all behind you Silent...but I guess this is your truth now, isn't it?” Mom couldn't help but sound a little disappointed. Mom once caught me during one of the few times I just seemed to disappear into the night with Solaire when ever he frequented that bar, she followed us both and took it the wrong way.
Two secrets were exposed that night, and it was hard to deny them in front of your own mother when your dressed up in a long black dress, lingerie bra and panties underneath along with matching stocking and wearing make up. She had even watched on in horror as a couple of handsome guys tried flirting with me...it scared her more when I flirted back at them as Solaire was trying his hardest not to laugh. Although she was convinced Solaire and I were an item, it was far from the truth...we were just two good friends hanging out and enjoying a drink together nothing more.
“I think you should see this honey.” Mom stated ripping me from my thoughts, she turned on the TV and put on one of the news channels.
“...Across the world people have been disappearing and in their place these ponies have been appearing claiming to be the missing people, the ponies that have been rounded up by animal control and taken to a secure location where they will be studied.”
Luna and I looked at each other with concern on our faces. I'll be honestly surprised if Luna doesn't decide to drop the moon itself on Humanity if this sort of thing continued, pushing the thought aside we continued watching.
It was disturbing to say the least, the ponies they had rounded up and caught were clearly afraid and had no idea of what was going on. I think it speaks for itself that some humans in general are bastards, more so if animals are involved.
“You know the more I learn about all this, the more thankful I am you turned me into a pony Luna.” I stated, “I can't imagine what sort of impression you have on humanity at the moment, but I'm certain it's not a good one” Luna gave a short nod.
“Current research shows that these pony like creatures will group together in herds in an effort to protect themselves and others of their kind.”
“When ponies create a herd in Equestria it means that ponies trust and help each other. A pony can join a herd by crossing their front hooves and bowing.” Luna explained, “Do humans do something similar?”
“On occasion yes, but when a human does it usually seen as an act of loyalty to those they will willingly follow.” I answered. “Mom can Luna and I stay for the night?” Mom nodded, adding that no matter my appearance her son is always welcome here.
Luna and I had to share my old bedroom, and needless to say the news and the other night gave us plenty to think about. It was a small but cosy room with various posters, art reference books and games stacking the shelves on the sky blue walls. This room basically said it all about me, everything in here had sentimental value and memories of I had of when I was younger chilling out or having fun with my friends.
“We know dealing with all this is hard, but you needn't worry yourself about what we think about Humanity.” Luna said, attempting to break the ice,
“It's not that Luna, it's just seeing those ponies scared like that not knowing what happened to them...It makes me sick that other people would treat others like that...” Luna stayed silent whilst I ranted, “These are people we are talking about here not some mindless beasts. I know humans have done some terrible things, but there are good and kind people in the world...”
“We are certain there is, you're one such pony,” Luna added, a sincere smile on her face.
“Thank you Luna, that really means a lot to me” I replied smiling back.
“Can you tell me why this bothers you so much, Silent passion?”
“My old man taught me how important it was to never abandon the people you care about...” I said flatly, “It was ironic how he taught me that lesson, because one day he just left no goodbye, no note nothing.” Luna put a wing over my shoulder to comfort me,
“Did you ever see him again?” She asked, I nodded solemnly in response.
“He didn't recognize me though...” I said bitterly
The rest of night was quiet, my thoughts kept drifting back to the news, what Luna had said about the situation and eventually to what I had told Luna. Nothing really made any sense to me anymore, and next to me was the only person...er...pony who could make sense of everything that happened.
If anyone else saw me as I am now, what would they think? Would I be treated like those ponies on the news? It all came back to what Luna did to save my life, I literally owe her my life....I got up from the bed, Luna watched me carefully.
“Is there something wrong, Silent Passion?” She asked, but I remained silent and turned to face her, crossed my fore legs and bowed. The shock upon Luna's face was apparent.
“Silent Passion, do you know what you are offering?” I nodded,
“As a human I hereby offer my very life to repay a debt to you and you alone, as a pony I will do my best to aid you in gathering the Elements of Harmony to prevent any one being hurt by our worlds fusing, and anything else you wish of me.” I swore, “This much I promise.” Luna looked thoughtful for a moment,
“Are you sure you want this Silent passion? Once you have made this decision you cannot go back on it.” I nodded in confirmation, “Very well then, Silent passion as princess and co-ruler of Equestria I hereby recognise your request and welcome you as member of our kingdom.” Luna's broken horn glowed brightly and touched my horn with hers causing it too to glow in confirmation. This in turn caused a silver ribbon form between us.
“I haven't seen that in over a thousand years.” Luna admitted, I asked what that ribbon was. “It represents our bond, the ribbon's colour symbolises the type of bond we have...silver represents absolute trust and loyalty.” Luna smiled happily, “With bonds like this we can recreate the Elements of Harmony little by little.” I asked what the other colours meant but Luna said it was better explained as they appeared.
After our pact was made, I admit I felt warm and safe by Luna's company alone. It was the kind of warmth a child must feel when they are being comforted by a parent and the same sense of comfort only the night seemed to bring me. I eventually drifted into a peaceful sleep for the first time in a very long time...
I didn't know my mother was watching us the entire time, she signalled Luna over to talk.
“What did that all really mean?” Mom asked, Luna looked thoughtful for a moment.
“Where we are from, when a pony offers themselves to make a pact like that. They are not only joining a herd but are also entering a covenant with pony they made it with. Since I am royalty this ultimately means she is now one of our students and is under our care and protection.”
It took a while for it to sink in, but Mom got the message.
“How old is your son, if you don't mind us asking?” Luna asked, “25. Why do you ask?”
“Silent Passion's new body is roughly identical to adolescent mare, which would be roughly 16-18 years in a humans lifespan.” Luna explained, “A ponies life span is roughly around 80-100 years in this worlds time.” Mom let out relieved sigh, “Further more, as she is now our student we will be teaching her pony etiquette, culture and magic. Given the situation and how humanity is treating us she will be learning how to defend herself and others.”
“You mean he'll might have to...” Luna could see the horrified look on my mother's face,
“If it comes to that yes we'll have to...but hopefully we won't have to go that far.” Luna reassured her, “It would be best if we both retired for the remainder of the night. We all have a busy night ahead of us tomorrow.” Mom nodded and watched Luna return and curl up next where I was sleeping. As Luna draped a wing over my sleeping form, Mom could've sworn she heard a soft purring coming from me.
A soft pitter-patter of rain could be heard from outside, not loud but enough to wake me up. I could hear the sound of running up and down stairs, most likely my little brother annoying his sister as usual.
Out of habit I got up walked downstairs and told them to shut up, and that people are trying to sleep. The silence that rang through out the house was deafening, it didn't take me long before my little sister screamed.
“Oh my god, I finally have my very own pony!” She nearly crushed me with that hug of hers, but what do you expect from an overexcited 9 year old little girl. Johnny, my younger brother was absolutely gob-smacked at the sight before him.
It didn't take long for the racket to wake everyone else up in the house. Dad came thundering down in a foul mood, which is typical of him considering he works night shift. I could've practically predicted what he would have said in the usual situation, but given the sight in front of him he simply mouthed a silent “What the fuck”.
Now here was an opportunity I could not pass up smirking at, the look on the old man's face was priceless. Instead of the normally indifferent look upon his face was a complete confusion, it was rare to see him like this and was nice to see him show a little emotion for once.
Another soft clopping of hooves made their way down the stairs. I greeted the sound with a “Good morning, Luna.” and she replied in kind. Ellen upon seeing Luna, began acting as if she was told she was going to Disney world, I mouthed a silent “I'll explain later” to Luna.
We all made our way into the living room, but before Luna could begin explaining what's going on Mom came in and greeted Luna and I good morning, but she referred to me by name which got everyone’s attention, bar Luna’s.
“How are you here if your still in a coma at the hospital?” Dad asked, confusion apparent on his face. I looked towards Luna.
“What is there is nothing but a temporary illusion, it'll fade within a week.” I guessed that answered the question but I made note to ask Luna about that later. Luna told a slightly altered version of what she told me, making it sound like she was sent to investigate these disappearances in our world instead of finding the humanity's Elements of Harmony.
The old man was unconvinced, but let it slide possibly coming to the idea Luna had her reasons, his gaze turned towards me. I considered the fact he had worked with horses in his youth I knew he would ask me about my condition. As if on cue...
“I can understand your a unicorn of all things now, but why are you a mare ?” I turned to Luna for an explanation, as this was going to hit a sore spot for sure with the old man. Mom had a curious look on her as well.
“The spell we cast upon your son, changing her into what you see know brings out how a person sees themselves mentally in pony form.” I knew this was going to be taken the wrong way by the old man...
“So all this time, my stepson has seen himself as a woman ?” I have to admit I never really given it much thought, the idea I was transgender on some deep subconscious level had me thinking if anything I felt a lot more comfortable in this new pony body than my human one.
The look on the old man's face was a grim one, but he kept whatever he was thinking to himself.
“So what's going to happen now?” I asked Luna, “Exactly one week from now, my horn should have recovered enough to allow us speak with my sister. In the mean time we are going to draw out your magic into a more personal form.” In my current condition, the most I could do was simple telekinesis.
“When do we start?” I asked “Immediately.”
An hour later, Luna and I sat in my old room. I briefly wondered how we would go about doing this.
“What we are going to do, is dive into the deepest part of your being and draw out your potential.” I allowed myself to get comfortable, and focused my magic. The next thing I knew I was floating down to a large blank platform in the middle of endless black void.
I landed safely I took in my surroundings there was nothing but myself, I took a few steps forward and noticed I was in my human form again. “Luna?” I cried, my voice still sounded feminine on closer inspection I realised that while I was human again, I was a human woman.
“Well it's about time you showed your true colours, Silent.” I looked around, trying to find where that voice was coming, it sounded like my old male voice but more twisted with a slight echo to it.
“Who are you?” I asked simply,
Me? I'm the part of you that you readily hide away from others, the real you!” It let out an insane laugh. “Every little thing that disgusts you, every betrayal, and every little lie that you have told yourself make up a part of me.”
A thick blueish black miasma oozed from the ground slowly becoming a very recognisable form, it was very clearly a mirror image of my male form, it's face covered with a simple grey mask only leaving it's gold coloured eyes visible.
“I am a shadow, the true self!” It introduced itself, it paused briefly, “I am fully aware of why your here, what you can do to me and who is helping you. Make no mistake I'm not happy with what has happened to us or what is about to happen, but the things to come you will need my help whether either of us like it or not!” I was surprised to say the least,
“I take it this comes at a price?” I asked my doppelgänger. It nodded in confirmation, a twisted smile across it's features,
“More like a limit, everything she teaches you will be yours to use as you please, what I offer on the other hand will only come when it's needed most. Now what do you value most?” It asked.
“My hopes and dreams, trust and loyalty, the people I care about!”
“And what will you give up in return? I suggest you think carefully.” I could tell a sneer was forming under that mask. It had point though what would I give up? It awaited my answer for what seemed like hours, I soon realised my answer...
“My gender, the male me, the old me! Everything bad that has happened in my life, happened because I couldn't accept who I really am!” I cried,
“Yes!! That was the answer I have been waiting for all these years!! As you wish my mistress I am yours to do with as you see fit.” It laughed finatically.
It took a few steps towards me putting its hand on my shoulder, as it removed it's mask revealing a genuine smile upon its face before fading away.
“Here's to the world, the bonds we make from this point on will be forged with everlasting loyalty, together as one we will make this our pact!”
The blankness beneath me began glow and break apart revealing what looks like stained glass depiction of my true self surrounded by blank panels with the exception of one depicting a star and moon with a silver outline around it.
I extended my hand forward, reaching out...
“With the lies, hardships and betrayals bringing the world into chaos, I will undo it all with the flames of passion!” I grabbed the air as it became an ornate rapier in a flash of light.
I admit this all felt a little anti-climatic, guess I was fully expecting an all out battle in the centre of the mind or something...
I was engulfed in a flash of light, the next thing I knew I was staring at Luna. I took a moment to examine my appearance realizing I was back in my pony body. I had told Luna what happened but she dismissed the masked spirit as something normal for a human.
Over the week that followed I got me familiar with the magic Luna was teaching me, while I'm not a natural I got the simpler spells down easily but I have a lot trouble with the more complex spells. Luna did ask me why, I told her it was a little like a role playing game earning me puzzled look.
“It's a human thing, sort of like a story only your playing main role.” I explained, “I tend to favour supportive spells more than offensive ones.” It was true though, what I couldn't do with a sword or bow, I made use of defensive magic or spells that hinder my opponent.
“We see...” Luna give considered this for a moment, “So what offensive spells could you learn?” I honestly didn't know what to say really.
“I would imagine a simple ranged spell would be useful, some sort of magical arrow maybe, so far you've taught me telekinesis, cloud walking, cast light, a magic weapon enchant, hush, lesser heal and force.”
“What about your own magic?” Luna inquired, I admit I haven't had much opportunity to use my own personal magic yet,
“The most I can do is summon my sword, and my ability to seemingly go unnoticed.” I replied.
“We suppose we're as ready as we'll ever be then.” Luna sighed, I felt like I disappointed Luna a little.
“I'm sorry...just give me more time to improve, please.” I pleaded,
“I know you will Silent passion, you've only began to get used to having magic.” Luna reassured.
“What will we do once that illusion fades? I mean we only have till tomorrow night before they start looking for me.” I asked,
“Tomorrow night we will leave, we will ask my sister for advice. Our magic has recovered enough to open a portal to Equestria, from there we will devise a plan to rescue those ponies.” I nodded in confirmation, “We have already sent word to my sister, we should warn you that this is a massive risk. There are things in the realms in-between that will attack us should we be careless, the spells we taught you will help you protect yourself.”
We both began preparing for tomorrow night, I didn't bother telling my family anything other than that I had to leave with Luna. I admit I didn't like the idea of leaving but time was running out with that illusion in place, and I can only do so much right now.
A few hours later Luna began to cast spell that would take us to Equestria, she explained that I would I have to deal with anything that came through the gate, as well the attention it will surely attract.
The sky began to crack and split apart. Luna and I cast the cloud walking spell, and galloped as fast as we both could towards the opening rift. Luna was right I did attract a lot of attention, I followed Luna through the seemingly endless crossroads...but it felt like something was wrong.
“Should the crossroads be shaking?” I shouted over the noise. “Behind us!! Just RUN!!”
SKKKKKKRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
The creature emerged behind us, I caught a glance of it...
”SHIT!! That's Kalame'et!!” I recognised it from Dark Souls, “What the hell is that thing doing here of all places!!” It roared as it shot black flames at us both,
“Use it now!!” I knew that familiar voice. In response I summoned my sword, as Kalame'et began to catch up with us, “Luna!! Aim for the eye, Blind it!!” Luna shot a barrage of moonlit arrows, but couldn't get a direct hit on the pitch black dragon. All it did was get it to focus it's attention on Luna as it sped past me, roaring and howling preparing to turn Luna its next meal. I picked up my pace to catch up with the beast.
“FORCE!!” I cried, sending a shock wave of energy towards it wings knocking out of the air, buying us a couple of seconds to get ahead. It didn't take long for it to catch up to us...
“Tachyon Dragon! Final Tachyon Stream!” A large purple jet of white hot light shot out at the end of the portal blowing away Kalame'et in one swift blow giving us the time needed to escape. Kalame'et roared and screamed in pain as it was blown away by the force of what ever attacked it.
“Silent Passion! Ahead of us!” Luna shouted over Kalame'et's enraged roars, was that the Equestria? My thoughts were cut as Kalame'et was shot down by a fiery ball of white light as it knocked the dragon out of the sky. We both jumped out of the rift as it closed behind us.
“Sister!” Luna cried happily, I took one look at Luna's elder sister and towards a somewhat familiar black furred earth pony, with sky blue eyes, a blond mane and tail, with a yellow sword like cutie mark with the hilt of it styled like a sun.
“Praise the sun...” Being the last words to escape my mouth before passing out from exhaustion.
