My Unexpected Life

Chapter 1: That Dream

I woke up, I didn't feel any pain or I didn't have my injuries, I looked around to see inside my house, my living room actually, surprisingly my home or the rest of my town was destroyed, I saw my family, we were talking like the happy family we was, I couldn't help but silently cry tears of joy. Then out of nowhere i heard a familiar explosion, "OH S**T, NOT THIS AGAIN" I shouted as i looked outside my living room window, I shielded my eyes as it the explosion got bigger and bigger and straight past me, It didn't affect me as I knew it was only a dream but even if i am dreaming i never wanted to experience anything like that again. As soon as I could see again my eyes were filled with horror, my house was destroyed, my family and neighbors dead, I went outside to look at the rest of my street and possibly the area I lived in. My eyes were not only filled with horror but my tears of joy turned to tears of depression, loss and sadness as I saw everything exactly how i remembered it, but destoyed. "WHY DID IT HAD TO BE ME?!" I shouted with anger but a moaning voice at the same time, feeling no better I broke down crying still not getting over my loss.

"Wow I knew that it was horrifying but really, this is worse then you actually described it to be" I looked up with my eyes still full of tears to see Princess Luna looking down at me with sorrow, she then sat down next to me and wrapped her wing around me, it made me feel warm inside.

"Thanks Princess Luna" I couldn't help but say as i enjoyed her warm embrace.

"There is no need to worry Connor, like Celestia said before it is my job to come into dreams and comfort them and please call me Luna"

"Okay Luna" I replied, Luna then looks down at me.

"I shouldn't really be telling you this, but Celestia is healing you whilst you're sleeping, when you wake up you should feel no pain at all, neither any injuries" she continued "She is healing you so you can start your new life in Ponyville quickly"

"Ponyville and how can she heal me?" I asked

"With magic of course and Ponyville is the town that you are staying in with Twilight Sparkle" she answered.

"Oh right" realising what she meant.

After a while of just sitting and relaxing in her embrace she gets.

"Well, I better be going, there are other duties i have to attend to, you will wake up soon" she said trotting away

"Okay and once again, Thanks for everything Luna" I said getting up feeling a lot more better, no longer crying.

"The pleasure is all mine, whenever you're having a nightmare, be sure to rely on me" She said.

"Will do" I replied and she disappeared.

I woke up to see myself in a hospital bed again. 'Wow Luna was right, Celestia did heal me' I thought as I moved my finger joints and my flexed muscles, I looked over at the desk to my right see my clothes as well as my socks and shoes.

I got out of the hospital bed got changed out of the stupidly tight hospital dress I was wearing, I got changed into my clothes that were a bit torn from the explosion and got my socks and shoes on.

I walked out of the hospital room to see Twilight sitting on a bench smiling at me.

"Ah, Connor, good to see you're okay now, come on, I'll show you to my home and then i have some friends i want you to meet because if you're going to start a new life here in Ponyville, then you are going to need some friends and i also want to ask you some questions about your home world" Twilight said as she got up and started going towards the exit.

"Sure" I said normally as I followed her to the exit not knowing what to expect.
