Chapter 1 - What in Equestria is that?!View OnlineRainbow Dash meets Slender ManeChapter 1 - What in Equestria is that?!Rainbow Dash suddenly woke up from a terrifying nightmare- not that it scared her, haha. She blinked a couple of times and noticed she was in the middle of a dark forest and laying on the dirty earth. It seemed familiar to her. Then she realized she was in the Everfree Forest. Buck, she thought. She didn't know how she got there but she suddenly got the feeling that she shouldn't be in there at this time. She got up, flapped her wings and started flying. I have to get out of here, she thought. X Hours passed and Rainbow was still flying in the Everfree Forest. She started to feel scared- no! She was Rainbow Dash! She could handle anything! She suddenly saw something move in the trees beside her. Okay, she was starting to get scared even though she's one of the bravest ponies that ever lived. Then she heard a twig snap and she jumped in surprise. Her heart pounding, she increased in flying speed. "Show yourself! No pony messes with Rainbow Dash!" she yelled, angrily as her ears went flat against her head in pure terror. Rainbow Dash noticed a white piece of paper on a tree ahead of her. She flew in front of the tree, spying the piece of paper. She didn't know that something else was spying, spying on her. She read the message: Dashie laughed. "Ha, real funny Pinkie," she giggled. But no pony answered. Dash was once again angry. "SHOW YOURSELF! I'll have you know that I'm the fastest flier in all of Equestria! I don't need to run anyway! I'm not scared" she cried. Then she sensed something was behind her. She slowly turned around and screamed so loud that all of the Everfree Forest could of woken up. Behind her stood a tall, slender pony. He had nothing on his face as if it was a blank sheet of paper. He wore a black suit and a red tie. His cutie mark was a circle that was crossed out. Shaking, Rainbow Dash pulled a fighting pose. "W-well. C-come g-g-get some," she said. Then she could take it no longer and flew away as fast as she could. She managed to zoom away so fast that she created a sonic rainboom, waking up the whole forest and brightening it up. She quickly glanced back and saw Slender Mane staring up at her. "B-bye!" Dashie shouted and flew out of sight. X Fifteen minutes passed and Rainbow glanced behind her. Slender was no where to be seen. She sighed and flew to the ground and started trotting because her wings were tired out. Then she suddenly tripped over a rock and she fell over. Her face went SMACK! On the dirt earth. She lifted her head up and sat back. She shed a tear at the thought that she wouldn't be able to get out of the Everfree Forest and back to her friends. Especially when she was left with that creepy monster that kept stalking her. She got up, still shaking and trotted in a different direction. She realized to late that she had started trotting at the edge of a cliff. "AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!" She yelled as she slipped and almost fell down the cliff and if it wasn't for her clever gripping hooves that hung on to a stiff plant that was at the edge of the cliff she would of fallen to her scary death. She flapped her wings and had a annoying thought. Why didn't I use my wings to fly up so high so I could of spotted where Ponyville is?! Then two rocks fell on her back. She cried out in pain as they fell off her. She flapped her wings again which sent a fierce pain in her back. The two rocks had slammed on her wings and they were now broken. "H-help! Somepony! Anypony! I need HHHEEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!" she cried. No pony answered and then she saw something approaching her. She shrieked as she saw Slender Mane trotting towards her. This is it, she thought sadly. She shed a few tears as she realized she'd have to either fall to her death or be killed by this beast. She decided she would let him demolish her. Falling would be way to scary. Slender Mane reached out a hoof and he bent down. Rainbow was puzzled. What is he doing? Is he trying to save me? She thought in disbelief. It was true. Slender was trying his best to pull her up only she wouldn't take his hoof. He seemed to be getting impatient. I know! I'll run away before he kills me. I just need to be pulled up, Dash thought. She bravely reached up and took hold of his hoof. He very carefully pulled her up and as soon as he let go of her she galloped off. She did not realize that Slendy was trying to help her and keep her safe instead of killing her... X Slowing down to a trot since she had been galloping for half an hour, Rainbow Dash fell on the floor. She was so cold, tired and hungry. She'd give anything to be with her friends, sitting next a warm fireplace and chatting. She started sobbing her heart out and felt empty. She got up and carried on trotting, tears still wetting her cheeks. Slender Mane teleported in the trees and saw her sobbing. He didn't like to see the rainbow mare so upset which made him want to cry, only he couldn't since the lack of having no eyes. He wanted to trot up to her and comfort her but he knew that she'd think he was gonna kill her. But he didn't want to at all. He knew what it was like being alone, with no one out there to comfort you. Slender Mane knew he couldn't just show himself to her. But he had to do something.

Her stomach rumbled loudly, making her groan. "I'm starving! Where am I going to find some food?!" she yelled, surprising Tank as he bumped into the walls. Rainbow stared up into the ceiling, her face saddening. I just want to go home, she thought, sadly. Then she sniffed, smelling a wonderful smell. Food?
Chapter 2 - It's my home now!View OnlineRainbow Dash meets Slender ManeChapter 2 - It's my home now!Rainbow Dash awoke and was surprised to wake up in a tree-house. She got up and inspected everything. She even noticed a front door and opened it and glanced outside. Yep, it was a tree-house alright. She suddenly had a terrifying thought that since her wings were broken, how would she be able to fly out of the tree-house? It's not like there was a ladder which she could use to climb down, or was there... She trotted to the front door of the tree-house and cautiously opened it to check the outside again. She glanced down and gasped with delight. There was a brown ladder leading down from the tree-house entrance to the ground. Dashie sighed with relief and noticed that her wings were bandaged. Who brought her here and helped her? She was determined to find that out, fast! Dash knew she was safe as long as she stayed up in that tree-house, away from that terrifying monster. She left the front door open so that the fresh air would come through and then she could cool down. She took one last peek outside to let the fresh air blow on her face. She smiled blissfully. But when she glanced down she screamed and was so terrified that she fell backwards and into the tree-house. What she had just saw, at the bottom of the tree-house at the ladder was none other than Slender Mane himself. Dashie quickly grabbed the front door's handle and shut it quick. Since Slender Mane was right next to the bottom of the ladder Rainbow thought he was trying to climb up so she quickly started hammering down the front door and blocking it with lots of wood and other things. Don't ask me where she got the tools, it was just random. She stepped back and just stood in front of the front door, playing the stare game with it. She was expecting Slendy to start knocking on the door or something but she heard nothing. A scary thought popped into her mind, that Slendy was probably somehow floating in the outside of the front door even though the lack of no wings. Rainbow was frozen on the spot, not leaving her sitting-place at the thought. She soon got up and just trotted around the tree-house. She realized that this was the safest place for her to stay at the time being. She found a wooden chair in the corner of the tree house and grabbed it. She moved the chair in the center of the tree-house and stood on it. "I declare that this tree-house is now my home!" she declared. "For now anyway," she mumbled under her breath. She jumped off the chair and started exploring her new home. She found a bed next to a window and noticed the clean blankets draped on it. She yawned and carefully slid into them, feeling warmed up by them already. She dozed off before quickly glancing at the blocked up front door...
Chapter 3 - Tank?!View OnlineRainbow Dash meets Slender ManeChapter 3 - Tank?!Rainbow Dash woke up and glanced all around her. No scary monsters to be seen. The rainbow-maned mare yawned, stretched then jumped out of bed. Then Rainbow suddenly realized something. Food. Buuuck, Rainbow thought miserably. There was probably food in the trees or something but Rainbow didn't want to risk flying out and getting caught by that monster that nearly killed her. But wait, was that just a dream? Rainbow paced the tree house, pondering on what she should do. She couldn't just starve, she had to find some food, no matter the cost. Rainbow peeked out of the tree house door, looking down, below at the bottom of the ladder. That slender pony was no where to be seen. Rainbow gingerly started easing herself down the ladder. I guess ponies don't understand physics? Rainbow was now at the bottom of the ladder and hopped onto the ground. She started trotting away from the tree house and glanced up at all the trees, trying to find some food latched onto those branches. But only leaves were to be seen. "Ugh!" Rainbow shouted in frustration, kicking some fallen leaves. Some alerted birds flew out of a tree, squawking in alarm. Then Rainbow's ear twitched as she heard some hoof-steps trudging the ground. Rainbow gave a excited 'squee' as she noticed a figure was slowly approaching. The figure looked like a pony, a big pony. But Rainbow was too happy to notice. Finally, somepony else was here to hopefully guide her back to Ponyville! It might even be one of her friends! As the figure came into view Rainbow's eyes zoomed to a very small size. Her jaw dropped and she started uncontrollably shaking. It was that beast that tried to kill her! "AAAAAGH!" Rainbow screamed, galloping in a different direction. Slender Mane teleported in front of her, one of his hoofs outstretched towards poor Rainbow. "Stay back," Rainbow shakily commanded, backing away. Out of no where she tripped on a small rock and fell over backwards. Slender Mane still approaching, Rainbow blackened out in a scared faint. X Rainbow Dash awoke back in her tree house bed, the world spinning like a fast merry-go-round. Rainbow blinked and sat up, her blurred vision becoming clearer by the second. "Wha, what happened?" Rainbow asked aloud. A buzzing, propeller sort of sound answered her and she frowned. Where was that coming from? Then a familiar tortoise landed on the bed. Rainbow's eyes widened. "Tank?! What are you doing here?" she asked. Tank just gave her a slow smile. Wait a minute, did this mean...? Rainbow once again gave a happy 'squee' of delight. Were her friends searching for her in the forest? Even if they weren't, Rainbow still beamed with happiness.
