An Angels Descent

After Xialian apologized to Pinkie and explained why he was acting the way he was. Pinkie of course wanted to throw his 'welcome to PonyVille' party, but Xialian said only if her and AJ's friends were there and no one else. "I hope the others accept me as you and Pinkie have." Said Xialian as they were sitting in the grass enjoying the soft breeze. "Am' sure you'll be jus' fine." She said she gave him a brief but comforting hug. He smiled then stood up. "I hope you're right..." AppleJack looked at the empty on his face. "Xialian, what's wrong?" He jumped slightly. "Oh sorry AJ it's just, I swear I sensed Roxas' presence just now." She was surprised at that. "Really, where?!?" "It came from the forest on the edge of PonyVille, but it was slightly different in shape." "What does that mean?" Xialian unfurled his jet black wings and started hovering above the ground slightly. "Tell Pinkie that I went to check something. And that I would be back soon okay?" "No, i'm not letting a friend go into the most place in Equestria without somepony else with them!" Xialian just shook his head before floating over the AppleJack. And kissing her forehead. Causing her to blush. "I understand what you mean, but I always go into someplace dangerous either with or without Roxas by my side. So I've learned how to take care of myself, and besides you know how strong i am. After-all you saw me take down a pack of those wolves alone without a scratch, and I wasn't even trying hard to take them down." He began to flap his wings before he felt something latch onto his leg. He looked down and saw AppleBloom with teary eyes. "But mister, there are more things than jus' Timber Wolves in those woods, there's Hydras, Cockatrices, Manticores, And it's really dark in there." He picked her up before saying. "Don't cry AppleBloom, I've fought those all before, their just kind of a hassle to me now that i''m stronger." He put her back down before tearing the right sleeve of his jacket off to reveal his new flame markings. "And I've got this now." His hand lit on fire before quickly going out again. "I'll be fine." He flapped his wing hovering before stooping and looking back. "And one more thing AppleBloom, If anyone bullies you or you're friends let me know and I'll teach them what a true bully is like okay?" "Sure." Said AppleBloom. "I'll be sure to let you know." He nodded before flying off at blinding speed toward the forest.

"Uhhh." A pony groaned while standing up and stretching his wings. "Damn... my head hurts like a bitch."

The Pegasus had a pearl white coat and a yellow mane and tail that had a red streak through them. His wings had copper colored armor on the tops of both of them. "Where am I anyway?" He looked around, seeing nothing but darkness and trees. "If only I had the same eyes as my brother, oh well." He sighed, stretching is wings he flapped and lifted of the ground. "Hmm... it seems I lost some weight." Before he could to see if he had in fact lost weight, he heard flapping. Slow, heavy flapping. He glanced around, when he saw him. "Roxas?" "Xialian?" "I thought you were dead." "I thought this was heaven." He didn't get to say another word before Xialian gave him a hug, a really tight hug. "Xialian, can't, breath." He managed to gasp out when he heard. "I'm so sorry Roxas I really am." Then he felt something wet drop onto his neck. Xialian was crying. "Hey it wasn't you're fault, there's no need to be sorry." "I still killed you, my own brother dead by my hands." He just hovered there, motionless. Then he felt really tired, and fainted in the loving embrace of his brother. "Roxas? ROXAS!" Xialian screamed before he saw him breathing. "Oh thank god he only fainted." Xialian turned and flew towards the orchard with Roxas in his arms.

"It's okay AppleJack." Said TwilightSparkle as they waited for Xialian to come back from the forest. "Yeah I'm sure he'll be fine AJ, I mean he took on a pack a TimberWolves like they were nothing alone!" Said RainbowDash very enthusiastically. "That's not the point, It's the fact that he wanted to go alone." Then they heard heavy flapping. Everypony turned to greet the guest of honor when they noticed he just flew past them into the barn without even saying hi. "What the hay was that about?" Asked RainbowDash. "Maybe he's getting ready for the party?" Wondered TwilightSparkle, then something clicked in her mind. Xialian set Roxas down on a hay-bale when he heard a knock on the barn door. "Sorry Pinkie but the party is postponed until further notice." "It's AppleJack, is everything okay Xialian? Can I come in?" "Well it's you're barn AJ." The door opened to reveal 4 ponies. "What's the matter Xialian?" "It's my brother." She ran up to him and hugged him tightly then letting go giving him a concerned look. "Is everything okay?" "Yes everything's fine AJ, I was just so happy and remorseful at the same time. It really surprised me though." "Did you find what it was was that made him sense him?" "Yeah..." He started to tear up when AppleJack hugged him again but didn't let go when he leaned into the embrace. Twilight, Rainbow, And Pinkie walked in to see Xialian crying into AJs shoulder. Twilight ran up before asking. "What's wrong with him AppleJack?" She looked at her friend. "I have no idea, he just started to tear up so I'm trying to help him relax." He sniffed. "thank you AppleJack, is he awake?" "Who?" He pointed to a sleeping Pegasus. "Him." She stared for a moment. "Who's that?" He got up and walked over to the sleeping Pegasus in question before kneeling down. "My brother, Roxas ."
