THE NEW CHAPTER 1View OnlineOf Death and PoniesTHE NEW CHAPTER 1It was the pokemon league championships and Ash was down to one pokemon. It was the first pokemon Ash had gotten and was rightfully the owner of his utmost trust and love. This pokemon was called Pikachu. "Pikachu your my last hope, go and get em'!" Ash yelled. "Pika!" Pikachu said as he jumped off of Ash's shoulder and onto the battlefield. "That's all you have? That pathetic yellow rat is seriously your last hope? HA, this is gonna be to easy!" The offending trainer yelled to Ash. Pikachu winced at being called a "yellow rat", Ash saw this and yelled out words of encouragement to him. "Come on out Space!" The offender yelled as he threw a pokeball out towards the battlefield. The pokeball hit the ground with a 'tang' and popped open. A thin red light emerged from the metal ball and it steadily got wider. The beam turned white for a second and before long the white dimmed down until the offenders pokemon of choice could be seen. "A DEOXYS?!?" Ash gasped. "Space use bind!" The offender yelled to his pokemon. "Pikachu get out of there!" Pikachu tried to move, but was to slow and got trapped in the bind attack. "Space use hyper beam!" Deoxys complied and shot a bright beam out of it's chest. "Pika!" Pikachu yelled in pain, couldn't move do to the bind attack. "Attack again!" "Pikaaa!" "Again!" "Pikaaaaa!" Pikachu was now screaming in pain, but he wouldn't give up. "Space use Meteor Mash!" "That will kill him!" Somebody from the crowd yelled, "Just look at how weak he is right now!" Deoxys just looked at it's trainer as if it was agreeing with the anonymous bystanders voice. "Just do it!" Deoxys turned it's head back around towards Pikachu and started to attack. Pikachu just stared down it's opponent, he couldnt move because of the searing pain all over his body. "PIKACHU NO!" Ash screamed. Ash left the side of the battlefield and ran directly to Pikachu. He crouched down over Pikachu as if to try and save his life. The meteor rammed down hard on Ash and Pikachu. A loud 'CRUNCH' echoed across the stadium. All was quiet. Ash woke up in a daze with Pikachu next to him. "Whoa, what a dream." Ash said as he yawned. "Ah, I see that you have finally awoken." Spoke a deep voice. Ash looked up and saw something he thought he would never see again. "Arceus what are you doing here? Where am I? Why do I feel so light?" Ash asked. "Ash, that wasn't a dream." Arceus spoke. "Of corse that was a dream! If it wasn't then I would be dead!" Arceus only stood in silence. "I-I'm not d-dead am I?" Ash asked in a pleading tone. "Yes you are." Ash stood there and looked at Arceus dumbly. "That can't be true, I-I had so much I had yet to do." "Look, I know you wanted to be the very best and catch them all, but-" Arceus started. "SCREW POKEMON TRAINING!" Ash yelled at Arceus. "W-What?" Arceus took a step back. This was not going the way he had thought it would. "I wanted to start a family with Misty and- oh god Misty..." Ash fell to the floor and sobbed. Arceus stood over Ash and regained his composure. "Seeing as though you died in a very unfair manner I will let you go to one of two different places." Two portals appeared in front of Ash. The one on the left showed a picture of a blue hedgehog fighting robots and the one on the right showed a picture of six cartoonish looking ponies. "The one on the left looks really dangerous, so I choose the right portal." Ash exclaimed after much thought. "Very well Ash, I wish you luck in your afterlife." "Yeah, thanks Arceus." Ash stepped through the portal and looked around. "Well, so much for being a pokemon master." Ash mused. Ash looked around, he saw that he had ended up in a forest type of place. "I hope that this place isn't like that forest with all of those Hoothoot in it." Ash commented while he looked around. Ash reached down to his belt that usually held his pokeballs on it. "Oh yeah, I forgot that I left them behind." Ash sat on the ground, he felt alone and cold. He heard a muffled sound from his bag. "What is that?" Ash took his pack off and opened it. Sitting in the bag was a sleeping Pikachu, 4 pokeballs atop him, and a note on top of the pokeballs. Ash picked up the note and read it to himself. "Dear Ash, I thought you might want these. From, Arceus." Ash picked up the pokeballs, threw them at the ground, and woke Pikachu up. A charmander, bulbasaur, squirtle, and Pigeot appeared from the pokeballs. They all looked around in confusion, then directed their attention to Ash. "Alright Pikachu, explain to them what happened." Ash commanded. He would rather not speak about it, yet. After Pikachu finished explaining what had happened, they all turned towards Ash and walked over to him. They all looked down at their trainer with saddness in their eyes. "It's not fair, it's just not fair." Ash muttered. Ash sat down and so did his pokemon. "I promised mom that I would stay safe, I guess I never could keep a promise that well." Ash looked up at his precious partners. "I miss Misty guys." Ash put his head in his hands and started sobbing. The pokemon all looked at each other and nodded. They all formed a circle around their trainer and hugged him. Suddenly there was a rustling sound coming from a nearby bush. "Who's there?" Ash yelled.
Chapter 2View OnlineOf Death and PoniesChapter 2Ash spun around until he was looking directly at the bush. He could faintly see a set of eyes due to the glow of Charmander's tail. "Who's there?" Nobody answered. "I said who's there!" Still, there was no answer. "Fine be like that, just remember that you brought this upon yourself." Before the thing behind the bush could respond, Ash yelled a command. "Bulbasaur use your vines to catch and reveal whatever is behind that bush!" "Bulba!" Bulbasaur responded as he shot his vines out from his back. The vines shot forward and through the offending bush. Ash heard an "EEP!", a rustling of the bush, and then silence. "Wait, don't go!" Ash yelled. He couldn't see the set of eyes anymore, so he assumed that whatever was behind the bush was gone. "I can't do anything right..." Ash sighed and sat back down and put his head in his hands. The Pokemon turned towards each other and started making indistinguishable noises. They went on doing the same thing for a couple minutes and then stopped. They went over to their master and sat on all sides of him. "Thanks guys, I don't know where I would be without you." The Pokemon only cuddled up to the boy. "I guess we should get some sleep, we have a big day of exploring to do tomorrow." Pidgeot wrapped his wings around the boy and the rest of the Pokemon stayed where they were. "Good night guys." Ash yawned. Ash awoke to an electric shock. "How many times I told you not to do that?" Ash spoke. Ash heard no response from Pikachu, so he decided against going back to sleep. "Pikachu is something wro- Who the hell are you all!?!" Ash yelled in confusion. Pikachu walked over to Ash and whispered in his ear. "Well, now I know who you six are, no thanks to you all talking to me!" Ash was getting mad. "What in Celestia's name are you?" Twilight was the first one to speak. "What's your name?" Rainbow Dash asked.. "What kind of animals are those?" Fluttershy asked. "How in tarnation were ya not hurt by that electric thing that ya just got hit with?" Applejack asked. "Why are you wearing those horrid clothes and that tacky hat?" Rarity asked. "Why aren't you answering any of our questions?" Pinkie Pie asked. "All of you sit down." Ash said calmly. "Why?" "It will take awhile to answer all of your questions." The ponies complied and sat down across from Ash. "Wait, before you start..." Twilight's horn started glowing and a purple beam shot out of it straight at Ash. "Hey! What did you just do?" Ash asked with a hint of fear in his voice "I cast an honesty spell on you so we can be sure that you are telling us the truth." Twilight explained. "Ok... Well anyway, I guess I'll get started." "I am a human and my name is Ash Ketchem. Judging by the confused looks on your faces I'm assuming that none of you know what a human is, am I right?" The six nodded in agreement. "Ok, well a human is a creature that walks on two legs. Humans are also omnivores, that means that we are both carnivores and vegetarians. I'm assuming since you are ponies that means you are only vegetarians and I'm fine giving up meat if I must." The ponies lost their looks of confusion, so Ash assumed that he had explained enough on the topic of humans. "These animals behind me are called Pokemon. We use them to fight other Pokemon. They mean you no harm, so don't worry about them. As for me not being hurt by the electric shock, that's because back home Pikachu shocked me all the time, I guess I got use to it after a while." "What do you mean by 'back home'?" "Oh I guess I forgot to mention that I'm not from here." "Then where are you from?" "I'm from a different universe all together. I came here because I died in a Pokemon battle and I was given a second chance at life." Tears started to form in Ash's eyes. "Hey, I'll let you stay at my cottage if you want." Fluttershy said. The other ponies turned and stared at Fluttershy, it wasn't like her to offer to have someone stay with her, much less someone she just met. A "Thank you" was all Ash was able to get out before he started silently crying.
Chapter 3View OnlineOf Death and PoniesChapter 3Fluttershy walked over to Ash's side and patted him on the back with one of her front hooves. "T-Thanks Fluttershy." Ash said as he looked up at her. Fluttershy heard Ash's voice and looked down at him with a smile. "No problem." Fluttershy responded as she looked into his eyes. "Hey Fluttershy, come here for a second!" Fluttershy quickly walked over to her caller. "What is it Rainbow?" Fluttershy meekly asked. "I'm just going off on a little speculation of mine here, but ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSANE?" Rainbow Dash said in a harsh whisper. "W-What?" "That THING has MONSTERS with it that could probably do serious damage to anything or anypony. It is not even from this UNIVERSE. To top it off, it said that they battle said monsters back on it's home planet, FOR FUN. So what do you do? You invite it to stay AT YOUR PLACE! What is wrong with you?!?!?" "First of all Dash, that "thing" is a male human. Second that male human has a name, which is Ash by the way since you obviously were not listening to him. Lastly, why do YOU think that you can tell ME how bad or rash a decision of mine was when you have KICKED A DRAGON IN THE FACE!" Now Rainbow Dash knew something was up, Fluttershy had gotten to the point of almost yelling at her. Even worse, she could only recal one other time Fluttershy had called her "Dash", and that was when she had accidentally scared all of Fluttershy's animals away. Rainbow Dash decided that she had better not yell at Fluttershy again. "Just tell me this, why do you seem to care so much about him?" Rainbow Dash whispered. "All I know is that the Pikachu that Ash has tried to fight us off by itself, it wouldn't even wake up the others to help it. It must have been trying to protect it's sleeping master and if it tried to fight while out-numbered 1 to 6, then he must really care about Ash." Fluttershy explained. "I guess I never thought of it that way... Heh, I just thought it was being cocky!" Rainbow Dash replied. "Hey guy's are you ready to go yet? It's getting dark and nothing good can happen in this forest at night!" Twilight yelled over to the two pegasi. "Except for maybe Zecora making her weirdy beardy potions!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed cheerfully. Twilight just glared at Pinkie Pie for missing her point entirely. The reassembled group of harmony walked over to Ash. "How are you going to follow us Ash?" Twilight asked with a sparkle in her eye. She knew she was going to learn something new. "By traveling on Pidgeot of course!" Ash exclaimed. Rainbow Dash cringed, she knew if someone rode on her back, then her back would hurt more than anything. Ash saw the look on Rainbow Dash's face, "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt him, I assure you." Ash said as he smiled warmly. "Alright let's go!" Twilight said as the pony group started to trek forward into the night. "You girls can head on back, I'll go with Ash so I can direct him to the cottege." "Okay then Fluttershy, see you tomorrow!" Twilight yelled as the pony crew continued moving forward. Fluttershy waved goodbye and turned to Ash. "Are you ready to go?" Fluttershy asked. "Sure am!" Ash answered. Ash got onto Pidgeot, but didn't take off. "Why aren't you going?" "I'm waiting for you to get on! Theres no reason for you to fly when Pidgeot can hold both of us and fly without breaking a sweat!" Fluttershy looked at Pidgeot, to which Pidgeot nodded. "O-Okay" Fluttershy stammered as she got on. "Okay we are here!" Fluutershy said just loud enough for Pidgeot to hear. Pidgeot landed and Ash put him back in his pokeball. Fluttershy opened the door, "Ahh home sweet home." Then it struck her, what would angel bunny think? Sorry about the short chapter guys, I am just trying to get back into the groove of writing.
