Your eyes open as you looked around the room. You trapped within green pile of goo. You couldn't move your body as it solidified around you.

You looked around the room to see that you were the only one trapped. You felt the goo soften as you moved your arms you fell to your knees and panted as the liquid went away.

"Good you're awake." You looked up to see a beautiful mare bathed in the dim light of whatever cave you were currently in. though something was off about her. It was mostly her horn and wings that gave her away. Wait wings... this mare was an alicorn, though a strange one at that. Where her horn should be conned an with spiral grove, hers was long and jagged, almost to the point of looking sharp. And where her wings should be soft an feathered, hers was alsmost insectoid in there design. Regardless of what kind, an alicorn is an alicorn and if there is one thing an alicorn is known for, its being ridiculously powerful. She had a long dress with a few holes going up her thighs. Her hair look like silk and made her look beautiful

"Who are you?" You asked

"I am Queen Chrysalis and you shall address me as such." You thought of it for awhile but you needed to respect royalty. It was the rule of the land.

"Y-yes my queen what is it that you need of me?"

"My my I've never heard such respect by an outsider before. They usual say very rude and inappropriate things."

"Well we need to respect royalty they are the important corner stone to every kingdom." You said looking away from her.

"Why aren't you looking at your queen?" Chrysalis asked

"In my world it's not customary for commoners to view at their queen." You said with respect

"Do not worry face me as I need your love." You looked at her as her horn began to glow it dark green color.

She was startled at what she saw from the looks of it, she didn't expect to see what you saw on a daily basis.

She looked at you with concern, as if she cared for your feelings.

"My apologies, I never seen someone treated, so badly and the fact that the council of elders that rule your village would put you to death for being different."

"It isn't your fault my queen you see being a shadow Mage. My life wasn't easy, as there were some situations that could not avoid."

"Why are the other tribes so much different and accepting of each other and the shadow mages were treated like traitors?"

"I'm not too sure when the elder gods created the elder scrolls they made it as a treaty that every tribe must follow but after the elder scroll was destroy we shadow mages were treated as the black sheep of the magicians. It saddens me that people would stoop that low to rid shadow mages from Calaiden." You said with deep sadness

"Why don't you rebel against the opposition?" Chrysalis asked

"I cannot as it illegal for other shadow mages to meet. If shadow mages tried to fight back we'd be shot on sight I've seen children hurt by those bigots." You said with anger

"I cannot say that I know how it feels but how did you get here?" Chrysalis asked

"Most royalty wouldn't care for a lowly commoner why are you so interested?"

"I see no reason not to listen as you have an aura almost like scent around you. From my view a dark aura around you has made me oddly attracted to you." She said with a smile

She had a small smile across her face almost as if she was offering her friendship. Her smile made her look you beautiful she might've looked different but oddly attractive.

Her horn began to glow as pink aura came out of you and into her.

She gasped and had a bright red blush across her face she seemed to be fixated on to you and how you looked you might've found acceptance in the most odd places.

A few months later...

It's been 3 months since you arrived in the Hive it was located in the badlands. The badlands were a desolate area with nothing but Cati and tumbleweeds. The badlands were always hot in the late afternoons when the sun would go down the air would've gotten chilly.

Your stay in the hive gave you time to interact with certain changelings as they were called. The changelings kept calling you the queen's pet and had a blush when saying it. You were confused by their choice in words but decided not to voice it.

You walked towards your chamber chrysalis gave it to you after you accepted her friendship. She was acting quite odd at the same time. She'd always brush her tail against your waist when she'd walk beside you.

And every time she called upon you she'd act even weird as she would lay her head against your chest.

You were starting to get creeped out by the sudden attention.

Your thoughts were then broken by a small changling she was Chrysalis's young daughter.

"What are you doing out of your room little missy?" You said picking her up

She just cooed and giggled as you picked her up and took her to her room. Once you entered her room you placed her in her crib and began to sing a soft melody. Her ears twitch as she slowly went to sleep.

You gave her a goodnight kiss and turned to go to your room. But you were stopped when you saw Chrysalis she had a small smile and swayed her hips when you walked towards your room. It was fairly weird from some experience she was oddly attractive she had the curves and bust that could satisfy any man.

But you shook those thoughts away as they were considered a forbidden type of love. Plus you were lusting over a mare you met only a few months.

You continued your way back to your room and laid in your room as you did you heard the soft howls of the night.

Your mind entered a different kind of state as a shadow Mage you were taught about dreams or at least had the knowledge of dreams. Shadows mages were able to lucid dream the ability to handle your own dreams granted relief for most of the magi.

Since Loneiness was accustom for shadow magi as not having a companion or someone to interact with was devastating.

You sighed as you had nothing for your lucid land you closed your eyes and fell into a deep sleep. Unknowing to you that someone was watching.
