"Okay. Here goes."
"Let's see what I was actually like. Wait. What am I worrying about? I always was a simple fun-loving Alicorn! Why am I WORRYING!?!?"
Celestia had been sorting through some old documents when she found what she assumed was a diary from when she was a filly.
"Luna! Come up here!"
She had been lying in bed with the flu. Luna promised to take care of her, however was not exactly living up to it. Celestia had been visiting Ponyville's soup kitchen. Why? She had been looking to help others lately. And while she is the Princess and could have helped out a great lot with donations and etc, she decided to work at the soup kitchen for a day. Again, why? She wanted Equestria to know that she may be a princess, but she is 'just like everyone else'. And though she is blind of the fact that she is a tall sparkly Alicorn with wavy, rainbow hair, she still decides to use the wording, 'just like everyone else.' So long story short, she's sick.
"WHAT!?" Luna whined at her.
"I found what looks like an old diary of mine. It was with a bunch of old papers... Luna are you even listening to me?"
"Umm... Well I could lie and say yes but I think we both know the answer to that."
".... JUST GET OVER HERE AND READ IT WITH ME LUNA I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I FIND REMINISCING VERY FUN SO JUST GET OVER HERE!"
"Oh trust me Celestia, then you DEFINITELY don't know me."

Hi! My name is Celeste! Well, Celesteea... But I'm trying to get everyone to call me Celeste because Celesteea. is soooooooo long. Is your name long? Well, I guess not since you're a diary. Diary's not that long. But it sounds like diarrhea which is gross! Don't tell my pa I said anything like that though. He says it's improper to speak like that. So my pa told me that I have to keep a diary. Poo. (Don't tell him I said that either!) But I guess it won't be THAT bad keeping a diary. After all, it's better than telling the WALL about my problems. But Luna could read you and that would be SO embarrassing! Then again, she also listened to me talking the wall. But I will still write personal stuff in here. I guess I'll take a risk. At least I TRY to have a positive attitude. Unlike Loona. Or however you spell it. I don't even know how to spell my own name! But Loona is a loony. Seriously. I call her Loona the Loonie! Only me though. Everyone else likes her so much. They wouldn't call her anything mean. They think she's so perfect. I don't get it. They call me Sunbutt. They think its funny, but it hurts my feelings. Why does she always get all of the attention?.
"Wait," Luna said, "This doesn't sound right. I get all the attention? You're the RULER of Equestria! I'm just the rulers little sister! I think you might be the REAL loony!"

I guess I'll call this err... Chapter 2?
"I thought I was happier as a filly. Weird."
"Celestia, you sound like me. Only I say, 'I THOUGHT MY ENTIRE LIFE WAS HAPPIER.'"
Celestia took a long stare at Luna. Breaking the silence, Luna shouted,
"WEIRD."
"Luna, I'm serious! I could swear I was a cute, happy filly!"
"Eh, I sort of remember you being a bit gloomy."
"Really? Because it all seems so weird. I mean, generally, if you had a pony look at us, they would guess that YOU were the sad filly. No offense."
"What can I say, after all I am the Princess of the Night."
"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU LUNA? THAT DOESN'T COOL FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE!"
"Woah. Self-centered much?"
"I apologize Luna, Twilight and her friends got me saying that."
"Hey, why isn't anypony ever talking about me? Why don't any ponies take my name in vane?"
"For Cel- MY sake, why does it matter?"
"You wouldn't get it."
"If it makes you feel better, I'll start saying it. What the hay; for your birthday I'll ask all of my subjects to start... err.. taking your name in vane, I guess. I don't know."
"You'd really do that for me, Sunbutt?"
"JUST READ THE DUMB DIARY WITH ME MORE!"

The other ponies hurt my feelings when they tease me. They say mean things like "Let's fly to the magical castle, Sunbutt!", and, "Sunbutt, your hair is burning my eyes extra today!" It's true, my hair is extremely shiny and somehow can burn everypony's eyes. It's weird but not the point. They're all mean to me! No one calls Luna 'Moonbutt'! They just HATE me! And I'm so BUCKING tired of it! I'm sorry for the cussing, but it's TRUE! I just want Luna to get the hay outta my life!"

"Celestia, do you HATE me?"
"I swear Luna, I don't remember that nor still feel that way!"
"Oh you swear alright! More like SWARE! AS IN, CURSE? DROP THE B BOMB? 'CUSS', AS YOU AND YOUR GOOD- GIRLNESS WOULD SAY?"
"Luna, you can't possibly be mad at me for something that happened hundreds of years ago!"
"I'm sorry, you're right. After all, you did say you're going to get everypony to take my name in vane for my birthday!"
"I'm not exactly sure why you're excited about that, but moving on."

Today Luna got a boyfriend. I thought Ma would be mad, but she laughed like it didn't even matter! Doesn't he need ma's permission to be her boyfriend? Seriously, I read a book about it! I read books about everything. I absolutely LOVE books. They take my mind off of everything bad. They make me feel like I'm in my own little world, like it's just me and the characters. It's AMAZING. I love books so much. I forget about Luna, Ma, Pa, and all of the fillies. All the weight of the world is off my shoulders when I read books.

"You sound like Twilight.", Luna said.
"I do, don't I."
Just then, a letter from Twilight came in.
"Wow. What a coincidence!" Celestia said.
It said,
Dear Princess Celestia,
I have learned a very important lesson about friendship. I learned that sometimes you're more similar to someone you might think. Sometimes ponies can be intimidating, while others may seem meek. But no matter how different two ponies can be, there may be more similarities than you may think.

They were both silent for a moment. Obviously, with nothing else to say, Luna shouted, "NOW THAT WAS WEIRD."

"This is so strange! I think something is going on! You wanna know what I think Luna? You wanna know what I THINK?"
"Celestia, what's the big deal?"
" I think one of Twilight's friends found this diary first and they're reading it to her!"
"I highly doubt that, but even if that was true, what's the big deal?" Luna wasn't exactly understanding Celestia's theory.
"BECAUSE WE HAVE ONLY GOTTEN SO FAR IN THIS DIARY! WHAT IF THERE IS SOMETHING SECRETIVE IN THERE!?"
"So what? Listen, there's something really important that you should know about this situation."
"WHAT IS IT LUNA?!?! WHAT IS IT!?!?!?!?!?"
"I'm gonna go to the corner store and grab a soda, we're all out. See ya!"
"YOU GET BACK HERE!" Celestia could feel her face glowing bright red as Luna walked out 'Le Royal Doors'. Celestia realized there's no point in waiting for her and started to read again.

Sometimes I wonder if Ma and Pa are hiding something from me. Like, maybe I'm adopted! Maybe there's something wrong with me. Maybe I'm just a character on a TV show made for girls ages 4-8 that adult men watch. All I can do is wonder. But what about Loona? What about the way she gets whatever she wants? Loony Loona. I'm scared that one day something's gonna happen to her though. Maybe she's gonna get sick. Maybe she's gonna fall into a black hole. (Celestia cringed as she read that). Or maybe she's gonna get sad. Maybe one night she's gonna have a bad dream. Like a nightmare. Maybe she's gonna get so sad that she will be really, really, sad. I hope Loona will always stay her Loony self, as much as I can't stand her. Truth is, I love Loona. I love her more than anything. I love her so much, I might even try to learn how to spell her name. Speaking of that, I learned how to spell MY name! Selestia. I feel so great! I mean, Ma and Pa didn't tell me that's how to spell it, but come on, how else would you spell it?

Celestia stared at the diary entry. She stared, and stared, and stared, and finally, she just FREAKED OUT. "SERIOUSLY? LUNA LEAVES THINKING I HATE HER THEN I SEE THIS!?!!" She hears the doors open. "CELESTIA! WHERE ARE YOU! I GOT POPCORN TOO! YOU WANT SOME? I'LL EVEN LET YOU MAKE IT!" Luna said as she walked in. Celestia ran down the stairs and shoved the diary in Luna's face. "LOOK AT THIS. LOOK AT THIS. LOOOOOK AT THIS." "Yeah? What about it? Funny how you lose your cool so much in the castle, but in public you're so calm. It's weird, actually. But I thought we were gonna read these together." "Well OH WELL. JUST READ THIS ENTRY. IT PROVES EVERYTHING! "Wait, what? It proves scientific theories, that Discord created Equestria, that I accidentally let Philomena out of her cage and she flew out the window and I replaced her with a stuffed animal and you haven't noticed yet?" "WHAT WAS THAT LAST PART YOU LOONY?!?" "Uhh.... Sorry Sunbutt." "Luna I am about to rip all of your bones out of your body. But first look at this! It proves that I didn't hate you at all!" Luna reads the entry quietly. "Okay." "OKAY? OKAY? I DID NOT HAVE THE MIGRAINE OF MY LIFE TO HEAR 'OKAY'." "Well what else do you want me to say, Sunbutt?" "1... 2... 3... 4... THIS ISN'T WORKING LUNA I WANT TO KILL YOU?" "Yet you're the ruler of Equestria and I'm not. I mean, I know, in all fairness, I did need to get banished to the moon for 1000 years but still."
Luna was not mad at Celestia at all, but Celestia felt different. You see, Celestia had always felt the need to please everyone. If one pony wasn't happy, she would make a very big deal out of it. Luna could care less about those diary entries, but Celestia felt horrible about them, saying she hated Luna. That's why she felt such a great need for Luna to see the one she read without her. Luna always knew that Celestia got worked up easily, but she never realized that Celestia felt such a great need to please her, Princess Luna, formerly Nightmare Moon. Celestia's nervous feelings sort of upset Luna, but Luna always decided it didn't matter, that she just was a Nervous Nellie, or however that expression goes. But today, Luna decided to do something special for her sister. Something that would truly make her sister relax.
