Society Of The Alicorns

     "Stephano, are you crying?" Cookie asked. She'd rarely ever seen him cry before.

     "N-no!" Stephano wiped his tears away, "I-I'm strong, I don't cry. I can't cry, or else the kingdom will-"

     "Stephano, crying isn't weakness." Cookie looked him in the eyes, "Crying is exactly what gives us strength. The kingdom will not care if you cry, you have every right to."

     Time seemed to stand still then. "We have a meeting with the Crystal Empire tomorrow, and the prince will be staying here overnight. I could have a room prepared, if you wish."

     "Yes, tell one of the servants-" Stephano stopped when he realized someone had opened the door. He watched in shock, as a silver alicorn walked into the room.

     "Brother." he managed to say, "Gonzales, is that you?"

     "Yes, brother, it's me." Gonzales said.

     "Jesus Christ! Where have you been? What happened!" Stephano said, "I was so worried. We were so worried."

     "Tell me, Stephano, how long has it been?" Gonzales asked.

     "Why would you-?" Cookie asked.

     "How long has it been? I'm serious." Gonzales asked.

     "One-hundred years, today." Stephano said, "One-hundred years since I last saw my little brother."

     "One-hundred years?" Gonzales asked in shock, "But, haven't I only been gone a few days?"

     "Gonzales, I think I'd know if one-hundred years have passed." Stephano turned to Cookie, "Is something wrong with his memory?"

     "Definitely, but it's hard to place a source." Cookie said, "Gonzales, how long has it been since the fall of The Dark King?"

     "Uh, one-thousand years, why?" Gonzales asked, "Why is it just you two? Where's Pewds, and Sky, and-"

     "Gonzales, where is your memory?" Stephano asked, "It's been three-thousand years since The Dark King's fall, and five-hundred since we've last seen Pewds and the others."

     "Please tell me you remember." Cookie said.

     "I can't, sorry." Gonzales said.

     "You know what this calls for, right?" Stephano asked.

     "The Society of the Alicorns." Cookie said, "We'll talk with Prince Edd when he arrives tomorrow."

     "We must track down the others." Stephano said, "But I doubt all of them are in good condition."
