That night after I took Dash home, I headed back to my own house. I laid my tired head down, and drifted off to sleep. I dreamt of Dash, of her beautiful magenta eyes, her perfect coat, her amazing body. She was up on a cloud beckoning me towards her. I spread my wings and flew up and landed in front of her.

"Hi, Reflex." She said with a shy yet, anxious tone in her voice. Although I was only dreaming, it felt so real.

"Hey, Dash." I replied with an even more anxious tone in my voice. I knew something good was about to happen, and I couldn't wait! Suddenly, Dash grabbed me and pulled me close. We were maybe 2 centimeters away from each other. She puckered up, and kissed me deeply on the lips. I might have only been dreaming, but damn it felt amazing. She moved back and looked into my eyes, and I looked into hers. I know I've said this over and over but, her eyes were so beautiful in the pale moonlight. She looked me in the eyes and uttered only four words,

"I love you, Reflex."

It was then that I awoke. I had mixed emotions, I wasn't sure if I should cry because it was all just a dream, or be happy because of how beautiful the dream was. I can only pray that will happen in real life one day.

I am now completely in love with her. I'm legit, head over heels for Rainbow Dash. The sad thing is, I have no idea whether or not she feels the same. The embrace we shared last night was only because she was upset. Maybe after seeing how caring I was of her when she was in need of help, she'll start to feel something. I can only pray that she does.

There was no work today as it was a Saturday. So I went over to my laptop and decided to continue work on a song that I had been trying to complete for a few months. I had everything laid out, except the bass drop. I was having some trouble making one that fit will the main part of the song. I was lost in my thoughts when the phone rang, it was Dash.

"Hello?" I said into the phone. I sounded a bit excited actually. I hope that didn't give anything away.

"Hey Reflex!" Dash replied happily from the other side of the phone. She sounded really excited about something. I wonder what was going on.

"You sound excited today." I said into the other end of the phone, I really wanted to know what had her so happy and worked up.

"Oh sure let me tell ya!" She exclaimed. "Do you remember that Soarin guy that we saw at the most recent Wonderbolts performance?" She said excitedly.

"Uh, yeah why?" I said, I was actually a little bit worried now. The last time we saw Soarin he was flirting with Dash. I hadn't liked her then as much as I do now but, I always had this fear that, he would get to her before I would.

"Well…" She paused. I had always feared this would happen. My instincts are telling me my fear has become a reality.

"What is it?" I asked, trying to get her to say something.

"He asked me out!" She exclaimed. My heart sunk down to my stomach. I can't believe that this actually just happened.

"Oh thats, uh, that's great Dash… I'm, really happy for you." I lied, while trying to hold back tears. "I uh, I've got to go Dash. I'll talk to you later." I said, my voice full of sorrow.

"Is something wrong Reflex?" She asked, sounding concerned. I wanted to tell her so badly how much I love her, and how much it hurts but, I couldn't.

"No Dash, everything is fine. I just have some music to work on…" I lied, again still trying to hold back tears.

"Oh, ok then… I guess I'll talk to you later then, bye Reflex." She said as she hung up the phone.

I set my phone down on the desk, cradled my head in my hooves, and cried. I can't believe that just happened, and after I had such a pleasant dream the night before. "How could this happen?" I said, tears streaming down my cheeks.
