Chapters 'Who I've Become' - Fleur de Lis.
Chapter 1.
"GOD DAMN IT, LEFT SIDE, LEFT SIDE!!! Delta 1-1 this is Delta1-4 Where the hell are you guys we getting over run here!" I screamed into my radio as my squad got situated in finding better cover. Sounds of explosives were detonating all around us as bullets began to pierce the walls of the building we were occupying as enemy troops began to close in on our position.
"Delta 1-4 this is Delta 1-1, Sgt you have to calm down and hold that position, we are moving as fast as we can, you are not the only one's under fire over"
"Captain I have three K.I.A. and five wounded, if these men don't get into surgery soon then there not going to make it! Dammit! Martinez use the Yeager on that fucking tank! Captain We'll hold out as long as we can. Is there any news on air support!?"
"Negative Sgt, Warthogs are being sent back to base for reloading. And our Death Knight was taken down. You will have to stay put and hold out as long as you can. We're pushing forward as fast as we can, we'll be there soon enough."
"Dammit! Roger that." I pushed of the button for my radio and began taking count of the remaining magazine I had left.
'Dammit only six left! And ten clips for my pistol. Fuck were running out of ammo fast and the rest of our squad is a few clicks away.'
"Alright listen up!" I yelled to my squad grabbing their attention. "We are under heavy fire and we're running out of ammo. Only fire at what you can see. Ramirez! Grab the extra ammo from the wounded and dead we're going need them... And where the hell is Jackson!"
"Wounded sir!" I hear from Lana sitting by me as she reloaded her m-10 assault rifle. I picked myself up from the dirt covered ground and made my way to the back room finding two medics working on the five wounded soldiers that lied on the counter tops.
Walking over to the far side of the room I found Jackson lying down clutching is stomach as small amounts of blood began to seep out from his freshly treated wounds.
"Jackson?" I said to him as I looked him in the eyes.
"H-hey Sergeant. W-what brings you by to-to visit li-little ole me?" Jackson may have been wounded but that wouldn't stop the man from being the upbeat Marine that he is.
"You doing good Jackson? Medics gave you the hook up?" All Jackson could do was give a small laugh before he gritted in pain from the bullet wounds to his stomach.
"Yeah Sarge they gave the good shit with a side of rum. I should be able to get back out there in a hour or two."
I shook my head to my soldier knowing he was going to be down for a good week or two. "Forget that brother, you rest up. Support should be coming in soon to get us the hell out of here."
Jackson coughed a bit as is breaths started becoming labored. "Look Jackson. I know you don't like anyone touching Mary, but I'm gonna need to use her for a little while. Only until support comes in. We need all the guns and ammo we can use.
Jackson began to slowly shake his head to me as bits of blood began to pour out of his mouth. "Floreal." Jackson spoke my first name as he began to wheeze in his breaths. He would only say my name if times were getting grim. "Floreal. You have been a brother to me since we first joined recon. If there is anyone I know that can keep Mary safe it's with yo-." Jackson quickly stopped as he violently lurched forward then leaned to the side were he began to vomit.
Blood was what he threw up. The bullet he took truly did alot of damage to the soldier, which what caused the internal bleeding. "Floreal, I-." He coughed, spurts of blood flying out of his mouth. "I-I don't think I'm gonna make it Sarge... Can you do one thing for me? Just one thing?"
I looked into my friends eyes as he coughed up more blood. "Anything brother, you name it." Jackson lift him self up off his back and turned to where his gear was laid. He picked up Mary, a customized Barret Mrad, fitted with an extended barrel multi-optical zoom and extended magazines.
"Take her Floreal and kill those pussy ass Koreans!" I took Mary into my hands before giving my friend salute.
"Semper Fi brother." Shakily Jackson raised his right arm and gave me a salute back.
"Oorah." He said back before coughing once again. I took Mary and 10 magazines of armor piercing 338, Lapua magnum rounds.
Making my way back to were the rest of my squad held their ground. I watched as the remaining members shooting or reloading there rifles as bullets impacted the walls covering them. "Ramirez sitrep!?" I commanded as I walked to a small opening were a few bricks fell making a nice hole for Mary to use.
"All tanks are down sir! New contacts keep coming from everywhere, these assholes won't letup!" Good thing the tanks were destroyed it will take them longer to try and get us.
"What about Delta 1-1?!" I asked him. Ramirez fired an explosive from his grenade launcher before answering back.
"No news from Delta 1-1 sir, it seems were on our own for now."
'Dammit shit keeps getting worse and worse. We can't let up I need to get these soldiers back to safety and soon.'
"Don't let up! Give these basterds everything you got! OORAH!" I yelled to the rest of my squad, receiving many in return.
I was on the far side of the wall a few feet away from some of my squad members, the hole in the wall was decent in size, good enough to be able to use Mary to her full extent. I took a kneeling position placing the barrel inside the hole. My position was in a sense perfect, I had clear line of sight to any hostiles on the outside while I was partially protected by the thick brick wall, the only downside was that my head was exposed through the hole leaving me open to any snipers in the vicinity.
I placed a fresh magazine into the slot making sure it locked into place before pulling back the bolt-action and loading a fresh round into the chamber. These North Korean fuckers were everywhere. Streets, Rooftops, barricaded behind cover you name it. I'm glad Jackson put a multi-optical scope on his rifle, with it I could change to Infrared or to night vision with nothing more than a click of a button. And with that simple click I switched to Infrared spotting multiple hostiles in the vicinity through the scope.
I steadied my breathing and placed the cross hairs on the chest of an enemy hostile that was perched on a nearby roof. Just one simple pull of the trigger and the round was fired resulting in a loud boom, leaving smoke forming out of the barrel and hole through the Koreans heart. I pulled the bolt-action back and the used cartridge popped out from the chamber and placing a fresh one inside.
Round after round I fired taking out as many of those basterds as I could. Things were beginning to pick up a bit, the enemy began firing wildly missing the brick wall that separated us from them. With fresh magazine placed inside I spied through the scope looking for any hostiles. I would catch small glimpses of red body heat moving from cover to cover but nothing visible for me to take aim at.
Taking my eyes away from the scope I looked back to my team, fatigue was setting in I could see it in there faces, but no matter what they kept pushing, we've been at these for over seven hours and I know we were extremely low on ammunition. I spotted a few of members of my team using enemy weaponry to fire against the hostiles, that's how desperate we were.
"Ramirez!" I yelled. "Any news on the rest of Delta Squad!?" I looked to the soldier his eyelids were heavy and he had large nags under them. He shook is head before spoke.
"Nothing yet sir, everytime I try to make contact all I get is stati-." Before Ramirez could finish the radio flared to life, even with sounds of arms fire in the background I could hear clear as day Captain Holly speaking through the receiver.
"Delta 1-4 this is Delta 1-1 do you copy over!?... Delta 1-4 this is Delta 1-1 do you copy!?"
"Delta 1-1 this is Delta 1-4, hell I'm really glad to hear your voice right now Captain!" Gunshots sounded again from the Captains radio as he spoke up again.
"Sgt, Delta 1-1 is a half a click from your position, Warthogs are five minutes out from your position as well. Hold tight people, we'll be there soon." Hearing the news replenished the vigor my team had lost when we fought our enemy. With Warthogs and Delta 1-1 on the way, things were beginning to look up for-.
My enthusiasm was quickly shot down as I and the others of my squad felt the ground beginning to quiver from a force we all new that could cause such a tremor.
Peering out of the hole was the last thing I wanted to see. There I stood staring down the barrel of a K1A1 Main Battle Tank. I didn't have a fucking chance of surviving, not if but when these assholes decided to fire that 120mm round into my skull.
I turned to my squad as they fired on enemy hostiles. "TAKE COVER!" I yelled with all my might before the wall I stood at exploded in a heap dust and debris, the blast itself sent me flying to the back wall where body impacted hard causing me to crash through the wall itself and into the room where the injured where being treated.
I was still alive but just barely. I could feel myself beginning to slip into the darkness as it pulled into the corner of my eyes. The sounds of explosions I could barely hear as they went off outside our position. I tried bringing myself up to see what was happening, but I couldn't feel... I couldn't feel anything. I moved my eyes frantically looking in every direction, that's when I found Captain Holly standing above me as a medic looked me over.
I looked to the Captain, and his expression was truthful. I could see it in his eyes that I wasn't going to make it. But I didn't need to look at him to know that. I tried to speak, to say something but all I could give out was a grunt.
"Rest now soldier." The Captain said to me. And when he did my vision became blurry till all I could see was a large blob in my view. "You did good son, you did good." Those were the last words I was able to hear from the Captain as the darkness finally took me.

Chapter 2.
It was the beginning of another beautiful day out in Ponyville, Applejack and her husband Soarin stood outside there two story house as the sun breached the horizon at there farm at 'Sweet Apple Acres.' The farmer girl stood tall and took a large inhale, smelling the morning dew that coated the fresh cut green grass of the farm. "Well Sugar-Cube looks like it's gonna be one fin day don't y'all reckon?" The man beside her stretched and flexed his wings letting out a few audible pops making his wife flinch at the sound. "Will ya quit that! Ya know I hate it when ya make those dang popping noises!"
Soarin began to chuckle as he shook his head. "Sorry babe but you were a bit rough last night" He left off with a chuckle. "Hell I'm surprised you didn't break my pelvis!" Saying that caused him to receive a glare from his wife and a smack upside the head making him topple forward onto the dirt road.
Applejack placed her foot on his back and began to giggle. "Ya knew we earth gals got a lot more stamina than those mage and winged gals out there."
Soarin began to laugh as he picked himself up off the ground brushing his wife's foot of his back. "Yeah I know. I didn't say I don't like it, I just said you were a bit rough. But hell that's one of the reasons I married you, well... Other than you being damn sexy with that cute accent of yours, plus the taste of your pies. Both of them actually.
"Um Sugar-Cube, I only make one type of pie. Ya know. Apple." Applejack crossed her arms glaring at her winged husband.
Hearing that and the look on his wife's face caused Soarin to laugh just before placing his arms around his wife's waist. "I wasn't talking about the food Applejack." He said licking his lips as he wiggled his eye brows, causing his wife's face to flush as he chuckled.
Applejacks flushing red face contorted from a look of shock into one of annoyance. The apple farmer pushed away from her husbands grasp and slugged him in his right arm. "That's what ya get for getting me all flustered! Ya know we got work ta do today and Big Mac won't be here to help."
Soarin chuckled again as he message the now bruising spot on his arm. "Where is the big guy anyway? The only time he's off the farm is if he's with Cheerilee."
"Ya just answered yer own question Sugar-Cube. Now come on!" She yelled in excitement, grabbing Soarin's hand and dragging him towards the apple orchard. "We can't stand here all day talkin, we got apples to pick!"
With being pulled with the strength Applejack had, Soarin fell forward again but was now being dragged by his wife to the orchard were they were to begin harvesting fresh 'Sweet Apple Acres' apples to sell to the good people of Ponyville.
Five minutes passed and Soarin was still being dragged in by his wife. They were heading to the south field about ten minutes away by foot from they're home. With a jolt Soarin felt himself stop as he was no longer being pulled bid hand free from Applejacks grasp. He knew they weren't at the field yet it was to early for them to stop. Picking himself off the ground, he began brushing away the dirt and grime off his clothes, hair and face before looking to Applejack whom seemed to be staring off into the distance ahead of her.
"Hey babe what's wrong?" Soarin said walking up next to his wife. He look to her then to the direction where she was staring off to. There he saw something. Something laying in the middle of the apple orchard.
"What'd ya reckon it is?" The farm girl asked, squinting try to judge in what it was.
"Hell if I know babe but where not gonna find out standing here. Come on!" He replied this time him grabbing his wife's hand pulling her closer to the silhouette in the distance.
The closer they got the closer they could see what caught there eyes. The silhouette turned into a shape of a person that much was understandable from the distance they were currently at but now only a few yards away they took notice of the person lying in the field. Scratch that they took notice to the naked WOMAN lying in the apple field. "What in tarnation is she doing out here?" Applejack said to no one in particular just wandering why there was woman in her apple orchard. "And why is she naked!?"
Soarin didn't respond to either question, he himself was to forgone without a thought in his head as he looked to the naked woman lying on the grass. Redness flushed his cheeks as he looked the woman over from head toe. 'Damn she's hot!' That was the last thought he had before his wife punched him square in the jaw making him fly a few feet away into an apple tree. The force he had against the tree cause every single apple in it to fall off, a few bouncing off his head.
Soarin was dazed for a minute or two before shaking his head as his eyes circled around inside his skull. "Okay, I deserve that." He said rubbing his jaw and the back of his head.
"Your damn right you do!" Applejack yelled to him in anger. "What in Faust name did ya think!? I wouldn't see ya haven a look at this here lady!?"
"Look I'm sorry Applejack."He apologized as he walked closer to his wife. "I'm not gonna lie to you Applejack, hell you'll know if I am anyway. Look, yeah she's hot..."
Applejack grabbed him by his shirt and brought bin down to her level which was only three inches down. "There better be a but at the end of that sentence or y'all be sleepin on the couch for the next year!"
"But... She missing a few things." Applejack just looked closely to Soarin her grip on his shirt becoming tighter, waiting for him to continue. "She doesn't have beautiful emerald colored eyes. Well I don't think she does. "Applejacks scowl grew as she tightly gritted her teeth. "Okay, okay bad joke. She doesn't have beautiful blonde hair that ends in a pony tail or the Stetson that goes on top of her pretty little head. And I doubt she has a sexy country accent that I prefer. Yeah she's thin and dainty, but I don't like that kind of thing. No for me I like a girl that can handle herself, especially one that has damn strong legs and lets not forget..." He trailed off before grabbing Applejacks butt. "A nice firm ass."
Applejacks grip faltered as her scowl turned to a small smile. "Ya doofus. Y'all lucky I love ya or else I wouldn't accept that there speech." Soarin pecked his wife's lips before laughing with Applejack following with him.
As there laughing died down they looked to the woman lying next to them then to each other. "So I guess we should just getur up then huh?" Applejack moved away from Soarin and closer to the woman to try and get her to awaken. Soarin watched his wife do this but before Applejack was about to shake the woman awake he noticed her cutie mark that was on her arm and seeing brought back a memory. A memory of a woman from party he attended not to long ago.

For the members of the Wonderbolts all it was, was another party hosted by haughty nobles trying to look good in front of there peers. And for the lieutenant of the illustrious flying team, it was all just a waist of time. Instead of being there, he would rather be with his girlfriend and her delicious pie. But of course nobody always gets what they want.
'Come on Spitfire were the fucking Wonderbolts! Why the hell do we have to meet these uppity noble assholes!?'
'Will you shut the fuck up Soarin! These 'uppity noble assholes' are the ones signing your damn checks! So shut up, act pretty and I'll let you get some pie later! Look one of them is heading over!'
Two people walked over to there group, one man and one woman. The man was a good four inches taller then Soarin he walked with a cane and wore a magnificently tailored suit, a monocle over his left eye and a top hat placed right on his head. The woman that clung to his arm was one of pure beauty, hell should could probably give the princesses a run for there money.
The woman was drop-dead sexy. As she and the man she clung to past the many people around them, she caused many heads to turn as they walked forward to the Wonderbolts. Her hair was exquisitely styled with it's two tone appearance. It fell past her shoulders and down to her back, it was pink in color but had a streaks of white in a few places. She wore gorgeous red strapless dress that tightly hugged her body showing her elegant hour glass figure, the dress caused her breasts to push up giving them a more larger look. On her right arm she showed her cutie mark. Three Fleur de Lis, one larger then the others colored in gold and placed above and between the two small Fleurs that were colored royal purple. She wore black stockings that covered her legs that ended in glittering red heels.
'Ah! The Wonderbolts!' The man said breaking Soarin's gaze upon the woman. "Hello everyone my name is Fancy Pants and this here is my wife Fleur de Lis. We are quite thankful you could join us at our party.'
The rest of the memory began to fade out as Soarin was brought back to the real world now realizing who the woman was.

He remember her now, she looked exactly as she did back the party, except for her missing clothes of course.
"Applejack." He said stopping his wife from moving closer. The farm girl looked to the sleeping woman before her then back to her husband behind her. "Applejack I know who that is."
The farm girl looked back to the woman than back to her husband. "Well spit it out! I rather wake her up now than tomorra!"
"That's Fleur de Lis the Prench model and wife to Canterlot noble Fancy Pants. I met them at a party they hosted not too long ago."
"Ya serious?" She asked him with confused look. Soaring responded with a nod before Applejack looked back to Fleur. "Then what in the hay is she doing here?"
"Hell if I know. Maybe bad teleportation? But that doesn't explain why she has no clothes on."
"Well we ain't gonna find out till we wake her." Applejack walked up next to the sleeping woman and began to shake her. "Hello Ms. Fleur. Y'all wake up now ya hear! I ain't sure why y'all are here. But ya can't be sleepin on ma farm!" The farm girl shook the sleeping woman again and again trying to wake her from her slumber.
Being repeatedly shaken caused Fleur to awake from her slumber, but not in a groggily manner some would think. No. Fleur's eyes shot straight open in surprise. Surprise and Anger.
Though the couples intention to awaken the sleeping woman were good, they thought they were awakening the Prench model and wife of Fancy Pants. What they did not know, was that the original Fleur de Lis was still in Canterlot. And the one they had just awakened was different not of body, but of mind. And she was extremely pissed!
Author's Note
Yes everybody this is another 'Who I've Become' story and it won't be the last. There is one more I'm gonna put up... Maybe soon. Instead of being sad like the others, I thought I would make it a comedy since I think I suck at writing depressing shit.

'Who I've Become' - Fleur de Lis.
Chapter 3.
Now this is what I call an afterlife. Even though I just died, I found myself in a bar surrounded by my brothers and sisters in arms sharing drinks getting drunk and just plainly having a kick ass time. We got some rock-n-roll playing in the background and some of the guys are getting drinks for the girls.
Hoping to get lucky of course.
"Floreal what the hell are you doing here man? I just sent you out there with Mary to kill those asshole Koreans!" I looked turned away from my current conversation with Gunney an old instructor of mine back when I began training, to be face to face with a friend I made back in those days.
Heh, Jackson was right, he knew he wasn't going to make it back there. Hell at least I got another friend here in the afterlife.
"Jackson how's it going brother!? When did you get here? Hell I just got here myself after that damn tank blew the shit out of me." We gave each other a fist bump before I handed him a beer.
"Hell after you took Mary I was just gone... Sad too really. I wanted to know how many you killed using Mary."
I gave a big laugh and gave him a playful smack to his arm. "A few dozen Korean dumb asses won't be going home to jerk off to their anime porn tonight!"
Wth that said we laughed, talked and reminisced about the good ol' days. Many of our friends joining in on the fun as things went on. Time didn't really seem to matter here, only the joy of friends having a good time. And the beer! My god was the beer good!
"So these damn gooks started running down the hill trying to flee from the incoming soldiers from behind right! When they all came over they stopped in their tracks when they happen to come upon us, waiting by a dirt road with seven Humvess all equipped with M134 Miniguns. Oh hell we tore through those cross eyed basterds ranks like wet tissue paper!" The lot of us laughed hard as Johnson spoke of an engagement he went through few days prior to his own death.
I looked around the room again and most of the people there were near our group telling stories. I kept looking and found a strange sight. A beautiful strange sight. There at the corner of the bar sat a woman all alone stirring a drink in her hands. She was... Really hot actually.
"Yo Floreal what you look-in at bro?" I heard the familiar voice of Jackson speak next to me but it wasn't enough for me to brake my gaze from the pretty woman sitting there at the end of the bar. "Well, well, well. Looks like you got your eyes on that pretty little lady over there." I didn't say a word as I took a swig of my beer. " I gotta say you have good taste in women my friend."
"Yeah." I simply said back to him. "Here hold my beer, I'm gonna go talk to her." I handed Jackson my beer and took my first step to the lonely woman.
"Ask her if she has a friend!" Jackson yelled out to me. I raised up my hand and gave him a thumbs up in recognition.
The closer I walked to the lonely woman, the closer I could see her features. You know that is something I have never seen before? Her hair was two diffrent colors. Her pink hair was dominant than the streaks of white she had in between them. Kind of reminds me of those people who dress up for those convention things.
"Hello." I said sitting on the stool next to her. "What's a pretty girl like you sitting all alone in a place like this?" She turned to me, a smile on her face. I looked straight into her eyes and almost felt hypnotized by them. They were the color of pink diamonds that sparkled in the luminescent light.
"Oh nothing I'm just waiting here for someone." I shook my heading after hearing her voice making my sight brake away from her diamond eyes. Her voice was a mix of French and American, more sexiness for her I guess.
"A friend huh? Boyfriend?" I asked her. She giggled and shook her head making her two-tone hair to sway.
"No, no boyfriend. Actually I'm looking for a Marine, I have a gift for him." She fully turned to me. I was able to take a quick glimpse at her body before turning back to her eyes. When I first said she was hot I was damn right!
She leaned forward giving me a good view of her perky breasts. They looked no smaller than a D cup I'm sure. Below I spotted a nice curvy hour glass figure and those lovely longlegs'. 'Now if only I could see that ass.' The glimpse may have been short but at least I got a good view.
"A Marine huh?" I smiled. Making her blush a tad bit. "Well lucky for you I know most of the Marines here! By the way my name is Floreal." I said raising my hand for a small shake.
"Oh!" She said in surprise. "How rude of me. My name Fleur, Fleur de Lis." The moment she said that I chuckled. "What's so funny?" She asked.
"It's funny really. Both of our names mean Flower in the French language. Mine is the male form where yours is the female." She understood now on why I chuckled and she herself began to giggle. Damn that was a sexy giggle.
"Yes, that does seam rather..." She trailed off a bit before looking to me again. "Wait, Floreal? As in Sergeant, Floreal Emilio Guadiana of Marine Recon?" I gave a smile as I nod my head. Her face lights up in a smile as she bounced in her seat. "Oh this is fantastic! You're the Marine I have been searching for!" She said clapping her hands together.
"Really?" she shook her head yes. "Why?" I was kinda curious why a gorgeous woman wanted to see me here in the afterlife.
"Why to give you your gift of course."
'Hmmm? Pretty woman wants to give me gift after I die. I wonder what it is?' "So this gift..." I trailed off a bit. "What is it if I may ask?"
"Oh." Fleur said, her happy tone vanishing as she looked down. "I can't really say. My bosses said that I'm only to give you the gift and nothing else... I'm sorry."
I looked into her eyes and I could see that they were becoming teary. "Hey, hey! It's okay. No reason for a pretty girl like you to cry. Now come on cheer up okay?" She looked up to me again and smiled showing me her pristine white smile.
"T-thank you. I'm sorry about that I usually don't get so emotional." She said wiping a few stray tears away with her handkerchief.
"That's alright. Emotions are what make us human. Heh, you would think that a guy like me, or men like us." I said waiving my hand out to the many Marines in the bar. "Wouldn't feel any emotion after the things we've done. But truth is..." I said turning away to look the mirror in front of me. "Truth is sometimes even we cry. Actually. Knowing that I cry tells me I didn't become a monster from my own actions in life."
The cheers and laughter around us began to slowly die down till the only thing I could hear was the woman next to me. I could hear her sniffle a bit. Hearing that told me she began to cry from my words.
I looked to her to see that she looked away from me, tears running down her cheeks. "Hey." I said cupping her chin in my hand. "No more tears now." I said wiping a few of her tears away with my thumb. We looked into each others eyes and before I could say anything she bounces on me. Her lips pushing against mine.
The suddenness of her actions caused the two of us to topple over from the stools we sat on. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact of the hard wood floor but the thing was... It never came.
When I opened my eyes again I found myself falling in some sort of... Abyss. Alone. The woman that was with me, that kissed me, Fleur. She was gone. I shook my head as i felt the air rush past me. "Ok, I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm gonna need an explanation to all this." I said crossing my arms as I fell into nothingness'.
"Hellllloooo?" I heard a voice say that echoed all around me. 'The hell?' I thought. "Hello, hello? Is this thing on?" I heard a tapping noise like someone tapping the head of a microphone.
"Hello?" I said about to whoever was talking around me.
"Oh good it works!" The voice said before clearing their voice. "Hello Sergeant Floreal, my name Syn. I was the woman you met at the bar. Well no you met Fleur there, but I was Fleur. Oh damn it!"
