Chapter 1 “Early start”
“Up! Come on up! Get out of bed!” the whispered voice was one he recognized even the darkness of his bedroom it belonged to his elderly grandfather , and it emanated from the general direction of the door.
"Fine, I'm up." Night replied, giving a low moan.
A small chuckle met the remark “We've got twenty minutes” then the door closed.
Night sight and groping for the I Phone on his bedside side table then he found it and press the home button. The screen lit up the screen showed a manga girl in a girly green bikini with brown eyes, large breasts, a cheeky smile and a wink on her face and the time and date just above it “02:40am Sunday 1st September.” Then a message flashed up “Mouth long hunting trip with a few friends” there was four of them going then it vanished.
Then he remembered his granddad had a cabin deep in some massive wood’s and land around them
“Only in Cumbria” Night whispered.
Then throwing the phone back on the table he sat up and reached down groping to find the trousers next to the bed with one hand with the other rubbed his eyes of sleep then his hand found a cold metallic object he grabbed it to find it was the belt buckle on his trousers.
The trousers were thick, warm, woodland camo and rugged for the many barbed wire fences he had climbed had not damaged them at all. Pulling them on over the boxers he slept in and doing up the zipper, button and the leather belt. He reached down for whatever came to his touch.
A heavy fabric brushed against his fingertips he griped it by now his eyes had adjusted to the dark now he could see it was his army green hoodie. He put it next to him and reached down underneath where the hoodie sat his T-shirt was then he pulled it on then the hoodie. Finding the phone again he pressed the home button the screen lit up “02:40” it then changed “02:41” the time read. Then pulling the charger for the phone then form the wall socket next to the bed. Then pushing it into one of the two large duffel bags resting against the wall next to the side table one full of food, supplies, water. A few necessary things like the phone charger pencils, pens and paper.
Night had put them in quietly as no one knew he drew. The other had his small amount of ammo for his shotgun and rifle and the camping gear. Night lifted them on to his back both where of equal weight he judged both added up to around twenty five kilograms . Putting the phone in the pouch on the front of his hoodie then he opened his bedroom door and crepe'd past his grandmas bed room door then down the stairs to the living room.
He opened the door the light was blinding Night raised his hand to cover his eyes then without warning something crashed in to his stomach “Down Lilly good girl down” the cream colored Labrador got down and walked towards the table laughter was coming from the table “Good girl” his granddad’s voice said
“Very funny” Night responded his eyes adjusting to the light his granddad was sitting at the table smiling at him still chuckling at him then he looked down at a bowl if front of him his usual porridge sitting there “I’ll get something to then.”
Dropping the bags on the sofa Night got a few apples from the kitchen Lilly imminently sat down in front of him “Can’t I eat in pace?” Lilly started to drool “No” he said then started to eat the apples “Will that be enough it’s a long dive” his granddad asked “It’s enough” he responded his granddad left the room taking the now empty bowl in his hands Night looked at Lilly “Kiss” Lilly lick'd his cheek “Good girl hear”
Lilly wolfed down the apple cores “Found a girl that likes you have you” Granddad entered the room smiling “At least she’s honest it’s nice to be liked” Night said stocking Lilly’s head and looked up at the clock on the mantel piece “3:00am” “Where going now got everything” granddad asked Night pulled his jacket on that had been sitting next to him on the chair and grabed the trench coat under it. This was going to be a long day.
A few hours later Night woke up with a start "Shit! whe..." the car was moving along a wide country road granddad was driving the red pick-up truck "What’s wrong and mined you language!" "Sorry nightmare" Night covered his eyes trying to remember the dream. A... well I don't know some sort of castle then... a... creepy anime girl.
"Fuuuuck I need to stop watching crap like that!" Night thought. He looked at the clock "8:00" it read. A tongue rubbed ageist his ear "Hello Lilly" the Labrador rested her head on his shoulder then without warning a large, loud burp came from the dog Night sighed "Charming Lilly right in to my ear. CHRIST THAT STINKS!”
All Night could hear was his granddad laughing at him.
Meanwhile in Canterlot in the royal throne room there was a air of activity as some guests had arrived on the first train in that day.
The gang was there Twilight sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow dash and Pinkie Pie where gathering in the throne room of the castle where Princess Celestial and Princess Luna where siting surrounded by a mix of day and night guards surrounding the two as it was sun rise and the guards watch where swapping and Shining Armour was there super vising the watch swap.
"Twilight why do you come to us at this hour?" Luna asked looking at Twilight the guards stopped mid motion as they let the conversation go interrupted by hove's on marble and listened in.
"Yeah what the hay are we doing here?" Rainbow dash asked a hint of annoyance in her voice
"Yeah I was meant to be bucking today so why am I here?" Applejack chipped in.
"All you did was drag us down to the train station without a word!" Pinkie Pie said the bags under here eyes said it all.
"If you will let me speak I will explain" Twilight said throwing a look at them "I've come to day to explain a discover I have made."
The guards slyly looked at each other as did the Princess "Please continue" Luna said.
"Err...well the discovered has turned out to be a form of teleportation spell"
"Your letter did mention a new spell but we already know of the spell" Luna said glancing at Celestia
"Well what is so special about this one then?" Celestia asked
"Well as you know the current teleportation spells can only be used for shout distances and small objects at best"
"Yes" said Celestia "And..." Luna pressed.
Twilight licked her lips nervously "This spell can... teleport large objects like bed's, cupboards and possibly even... pones" The princesses looked at each other and seemed to communicate in an instant.
"But why are we hear" Rarity asked.
"If you let me I'll tell you" Twilight said "With the elements of harmony this spell can be amplified to reach another world!"
"That's cool" Rainbow said a smile creasing her lips
"What are the risk's" Luna asked looking at Twilight
"As far as I can tell there is no threat as there is no sentient life on any other planet that we can find all we need is your permission and we can demonstration for you.
The princesses looked at one another "Well" said Luna looking at Celestia they all looked at each other.
The guards had moved out the way without them even realizing they were all lined up against the wall with Shining Armour standing next to the princesses
His face was unreadable.
Chapter 2 "Mist, Sundown in the Sunrise"

"Mist, Sundown in the Sunrise"
Night had never seen a sunset like the one in front of him the small lake gave off a thick mist, that was stand blood red from the sunset the lake was only a short walk from the cabin.
He sighed and a cloud rose up in to his vision and he walked on, the cold long bag rested across his back and the cold metal beneath was not easily ignored but he had stopped noticing it long ago.
His boots made a crunching noise on the frozen puddles along the path.
The mist parted and a tall bright red fox sat proud Night crotchet down, and slid the bag round in to his lap and his finger's found the zipper and pulled it down, sliding his rifle out all the while not taking his eyes of the fox, he automatically pulled the bolt back and reached in to his left pocket.
Freezing metal met his touch he felt three of them on to his fingers and pulled them, out and gently pressed them home in to the rifle and he slid the bolt home and thumbed the safety.
The scope magnified the fox tenfold he could see every hair, on the fox he slowly put the cross hairs on the fox's head then he gently, put presser on the trigger then stopped.
The fox looked down and two fox cubes emerged and looked up, in to their mothers face they could not be more than a few weeks old, he slowly let the presser go and lowed the rifle and looked to at them.
The vixen seemed to look up to Night then she tend and left. *Click click click snick* the rifle was empty he slid it back in to the slip.
"You’re going soft" a hushed voice said behind him "Hello Uncle Si" was all he could say the there was a click and Night knew was about to happen but it never came.
"Luck bastards! Why’d you not shoot" uncle Si asked
"I know the value of life and if there is a point if she is killing to feed I can understand I will let her go." was Nights response
"Soft and rubbish they are an animal that’s all they are." Si stated.
Night slung the rifle on to his back and stood up, as he was still facing the oppose way he pulled the face mask up over his nose, and the hat covered the top of his head down to his eyebrows all that was visible, was his green eyes he turned to his uncle "Nice to see you."
"You too." Si walked up to Night, and extended his hand Night took it and shook it.
"How’s life?" Night asked Si smiled
"Life is good" a smiled creeping across his face "Lets head back"
The walk was uneventful there was only a few words said between them then the cabin come into view four cars were sitting there.
"Did you bring the family?" Night asked his hope dropping a notch it he would be sleeping on the floor or outside in a tent
"Yep" Si smiled at him Night resisted the thought of hitting him.
"Well I'm sleeping outside" Night said "No thanks to you TWAT!!!" he thought as Si tend and headed to the door Night stared his retreating back then when in after him
Si had not lied there where half a doses kids running around bounding off and over the chairs and the sofa most where around five years old the other family's where there where Si's family, Uncle Tim's family, Aunt Selma and the Squires family they had been close friend of the family for years and had always come on these holidays.
"You might want to check you room they have been in there" Si smiled knowing what that meant to him
"O No!" Night exclaimed "They" meant the triplets and they were the worst bunch of brats in the world and if they had got in to his room...
He pushed past and all the children seemed to jump on him "Get off!" as he retched the door to his room shacking off one of the cousin's from his leg "OFF" and with a flick of his leg the kid rolled along the floor laughing as he pressed the door he felt his hart sink.
The three of them sat on his bed surrounded by feathers the now empty pillow on the floor
Then he looked around his room the continence of his duffle bags scatted across the floor the paper torn up and all over the room the camping gear was well he could not see then he looked to the window the signal tent peg sat there on the windowsill the three kids looked at him his bag of licorice opened and it was empty his headphones held in there hands being pulled apart. That was it.
"GET OUT" Night shouted garbing the three of them and literately threw them out the door as he kicked the door closed all Night could here was crying from the three brats as they landed on the hard wood floor as he wound the head headphones wire up and pushed it in to his inner pocket.
A few minutes later Night walked out of his room the two duffel bags bulging with his stuff.
"What the hell is your problem?" SI shouted at him "Not my problem they behave like that" as he slid the rifle and shotgun in there slips and they rested in between the two duffel bags on his back his trench coat streaming out behind him.
"I'm going out"
"No you’re not you are going the apologist to them" Si shouted at him
"No" Night said calmly and quietly he suddenly felling the dampness in front of his mouth he had left his face mask on and his saliva covered the inside of the thin green fabric he must of been spiting when he had shouting.
He retched for the handle of the front door but was garbed and pulled round.
"Say you’re sorry." "No." a fist met his chin and Night stumbled back on to the door.
The door open and he fell backwards and the back of his head met the stone floor of the porch his vision clouded around the edges.
His granddad was standing over him looking at him on the floor then to his Uncle Si "What is this?" then he grabbed the front of Si's Jacket. “What did you do to him?" "Ask him" SI grabbed granddads hands and ripped them off.
Night spoke from his prone position "Fuck you" he sat up and rubbed the back of his head and his chin "The bastard punched me!"
His granddad was not young man and Si was actually quite a fat man but he lifted Si up ageist the wall "Why did you do it?" a note of danger in his voice "The basted threw my children out of his room lithely!"
"Well they ripped open my pillow, tore up my bed threw my things about the room dangled the tent out the window and ATE MY LICORICE!"
Then granddad lowered Si and then Si pushed him away "He needs to apologies to my children" Granddad pushed Si back "They should be saying sorry to him they trashed his room "It's there room now" Si spat back.
The two men started a shouting match and the others gathered around Night ignored them and decided to stay away for a day or two let it blow over he had done it before on a holiday the same as this
Night had got up and opened the door to leave but something was wrong rather than of the woods and cars there was a well what was a "Black hole" Night said calmly and everyone in the cabin looked to him to see what he was talking about.
Night let out a shout as a he felt a pulling take hold of him and Night grabbed the door frame as his feet where pulled to the black hole in an instant his granddad and uncle Si grabbed his arms using the wall to hide from the pulling force "Hang on" Si shouted "What the hell bloody hell do you think I'm doing!!" Night shouted
"Just keep holding on" his granddad shouted "NO SHIT!!" Night screamed.
Night felt something slip he looked down and saw a boot fly off in to the hole "THERE GOES ONE OF MY GOOD BOOT'S." he shouted.
In the throne room in the castle at Canterlot the portal had just opened above the six ponies in the middle of the circle they had formed each glowing.
Princes Luna stood up her mouth open slightly Celestia was walking around the portal a notebook and a quill following her scribbling in the notebook as she looked in to the portal.
Then an object fell through and landed on the floor and slid along the marble floor and in to a night guard's hoof.
She bent down and sniff’s it then turn a deep green color as she pushed it away.
Night felt his arm's weaken and his hand start to slip Si grabbed it "I'm sorry" Night shouted "No I'm sorry" Si shouted as a knife flashed past and in to the portal.
In the throne room
There was a twang and a another object fell out of the portal it bounced and stuck into the floor next to where the boot was now resting it embedded into the ground quivering as it give a low hum as it vibrated.
There was a flash Night blinked one of his cousins had a camera out and was taking pictures "YOU GORMLESS IDIWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" the hand Si had a hold of slipped then he was dangling there only the hand his granddad holding and he felt his hat slip off and into the portal.
Celestia used her magic and levitated one if the two object that fell out of the portal.
The one that had a metal blade she jugged the blade to be about a hoof long and the handle was what looked like levies and twigs on
The handle was made of a materiel that she didn't know what it was it metal nor leather all the while the quill was dancing along the notebook.
She lowered the object and walked to the object the guard had smelled early but she didn't even get half way there then something much larger shot out and smacked her in the face the soft fabric did not hurt her but she still jumped and then she lifted it off and looked at it.
The fabric formed a form of hat. There were two flaps that seemed to come down and there was some string that seemed to hold the flaps up the there was a shouting and Twilight looked up "What the..."
Outside the window the sun had just risen.
Chapter 3
"New world"
Night looked in to the hole then back to his granddad and felt his hart brake
Almost all the veins where showing on the back of his hands and neck.
The colour of his face said it all but it was his eyes.
Night eyes met his and in an instant saw all the feelings of love and pride he had for his grandson and grandma the only thing's he had left after...
Night shut that train of thought off and looked back to his granddad he knew this fight would be the end of him he took a deep breath.
Night looked to his granddad noticing as he did his eyes where the same shade of green as his then he shouted.
"I love you!!" Then with another deep breath and closed his eyes and opened them again then shouted what had hoped never say and is granddad knew it "See you on the far side!" and with that Night twisted his hand and...let go.
Graham watched as his grandson close his eyes and the opened them "See you on the far side!" his grandson shouted he felt him twist his hand in his grip and the...let go.
He fell to the floor then looked back to his grandson growing smaller in the hole as it too was growing smaller
"NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" he shouted as he bolted to the portal and raising an arm his desperate to regain a hold on his grandson he was the most impotent thing in his life!
Someone garbed him and held him "NO LET HIM GO" Graham tried to fight "GETS OFF ME YOU FAT BASTARD I NEED TO RESCUE HIM!!" "No" Si said holding him firm "He let go to save you remember that!" the hole had closed now.
Si let go and Graham and he fell to his knees then Graham Night lifted his head to the heavens opened his mouth and a sole retching howl of pain, loss and love rang through the cabin all the animals in the now dark wood lifted their heads and looked at the cabin.
Lilly sat next to Graham looked at him then slowly o so slowly she lifted her head and howled along to the song of sorrow that rang over the surrounding countryside.
Night watched his granddad getting smaller and smaller he closed his eyes then opened them in time to see...
Well he never found out as his face hit what felt like stone and slid along it for a bit then fell on to his back he lay there fighting the black that was pressing in on his mind "Ow!" was all he could manage before he blacked out.
He woke to find his boot, hat and knife lying in front of his face Night closed his eyes and the first thought was "How much! And what did I drink!" his head was throbbing like he had hit it on a stone floor.
Someone nudging on his shoulder "hhuumm" he moaned moving his shoulder no doubt one of his cousins thinking it would be funny to wake him up at stupid o'clock!
There was another nudge Night shifted his weight on to his side so he could pull his hand out from underneath him
He put his middle finger and thum out and gestured in the direction off the nudging.
Night felt his hair moving and a sniffing sound "Lilly..." Night thought he waved his hand hoping to bat Lilly away as he rolled over as he hired a mutter then his head met something hard and cold.
Night looked down to see a white stone with black and red lines in it "Err...marble" his brain started to work again he closed his eyes then they shot open "Marble! there's no marble in the cabin" he hand slowly went for his hat and even though he was prone on the floor he shoved it on to his head "Where is hear?" his mined questioned as he picked up the knife and closed with a flourish then pressed it in to a inside pocket of his trench coat as his eye's where drawn to a large stain glass window "Where am I" he sat up and heard a noise behind him but ignored it he reached for the boot and started to undo the lace.
Celestia, Luna, Twilight and Shining Armour stood over the creature that was lying on the floor "What is it?" Twilight asked looking at Celestia
Celesta looked down "I don't know" she said as she looked carefully at the thing sprawl on the floor it was...odd
It was mostly a brownie green colour but under that was a layer of pattern same as the small blade's handed lying next to it both seemed to be an apparently random layers of sticks and old dead leaves.
Then there was its head it had a brown main but no fir lower than its forehead it was naked down to where the green fir started under its eyes there was no sign of a mouth or nose.
Then Shining Armour stepped forward and poked its shoulder "What you doing?" Luna asked in a hushed voice "hhuumm" the creature made a noise.
Shining poked it again this time it rolled over reviling one of its forelegs but... there was no hoof on the end in there was five smaller legs four on the end of its foreleg and one set a little bit back from the others each ending in what looked like a hoof but did not go all the way around in moved three of the smaller legs so only the longest leg and the one that was set back it left extended and jabbed in the direction that Shining was standing "I think it wants you to stop pocking it" Twilight whispered.
Shining ignored her and sniffed at its main "It smells odd" he whispered.
Using the same foreleg it waved its "Hoof" in front of Shining's nose reviling what was on its back.
Luna saw what looked like two saddle bags on each side of its back and two very long bags sat in between its saddle bags "I wonder what’s in its bags?" "Which ones?" Shining asked "All of them" Luna said.
The creature sat up without warning the guard's that had held back moved surrounding their respective princes as they lowered their spear's to point at the thing on the floor they also realized two of the three objects where on longer on the floor
One it had put on its head covering its main
Almost at the same time Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Pinky then with a hesitation Fluttershy they stood in front of Twilight forming a shield
They watched as the creature pulled the first object that had fell out of the portal on to its hoof Twilight saw that it had another on the other leg then it got up instead of standing on all four's stood up on its hind legs then it trend to face the Princesses its eyes slowly moved over the guards then its eyes rested on Twilight and she saw that it's eyes where a deep green.
Night turned round well what he found was well... he felt a smile grow on his face and in his mind "I must of found the secret stash of Baileys as this..." he looked over the pony's and his eyes rested on a purple one with a horn "...is going to be one on the more wound up drunk dreams I'd ever had" Night lifted his arm and on the edge of the giggling and pinched his arm "OW!!" His arm fell to his sides "Aaaaarr shit!! This isn't a dream" he thought slowly.
Chapter 4 "Grown Pounder"

"Grown Pounder"
Night rubbed his eyes as the memory's started to come back.
The portal, his granddad, grandma, his parents.
He lowered his hands and looked back at the ponies then the differences started to sink in.
There was white unicorn no it had wings Alicorn was it... yes that was it a white alicorn with... Night blinked to check he was seeing things right ...a multicolored main with a golden crown, golden necklace it was surrounded by pony's in gold armour with spears pointed at him.
It was a similar story for the guards of mid-night black alicorn that had a star flecked main that where clad in obsidian colour armour.
Then his eyes rested on the purple unicorn's small group.
The blue one at the front of the small group it had red pink colour eyes and its mane was...
Night blinked to make sure he wasn't seeing things again
...a rainbow colour main it had its wings up protecting the others behind it.
There was a white unicorn on the blue's left with a purple main and blue eye.
On blue's right was...
Night turned his head slightly
...pink that's all he could see as it was bouncing up and down at such a speed that he could not tell what it was.
Stood next to pink n bouncy was an orange one with a cowboy hat and pony tails.
Behind the purple unicorn was light yellow Pegasus with a bright pink main
When he looked at it there was a squeak and hid behind its main.
There was a sharp prod in his chest and Night trend to find a sword pressed in to his chest another white unicorn with a blue main with lighter shades mixed in it too was in golden armour.
Night pushed the sword down and trying to make himself look as imposing as he could.
Celestia watched as the creature's eyes moved over herself then Luna then the rest.
As it did this Shining drew his sword and as it looked at Fluttershy he pushed the sword tip in to its chest.
It bated the sword down than seemed to look bigger all of a sudden.
"I think you upset it Shining" Celestia said
Shining took a step back still pointing his sword at it Celestia took a step forward "Greetings I am Princes Celestia" it looked at her but did not respond
"Can you understand me" Celestia asked. It remained silent "Hum this will be hard"
Night kept his eyes on the one that had its sword pointed at him then the one with the multicolour main stepped forward and spoke ..."Nope all rubbish to me" Night thought it spoke again. "Same story" then he suddenly sneezed.
The next thing he saw was a sky and a something underneath him.
Then the creature sneezed and Luna gave a small shout but that small shout was in the royal Canterlot voice and the smashed stained glass window behind where it was stood gave a clue "Lulu you rely must learn to control that" Celastia said as they all moved over to the window and looked down it was there laying spread eagled on the grass on top of..."Is that Blue Blood?" Dash asked "I think so" Rarity said "Awesome" Dash said nodding they all looked at her.
"Shining will you go get our guest please" she had barely finished when it stood up then an arrow landed in the ground next to it than another and another.
It ran off at a surprising speed considering it only used two legs and the size of the bags on its back.
"Quickly if you don't mind" Celestia added as Shining ran off.
Night knew he was in trouble arrow's landing around his feet he wished he could look round but the arrows where starting to get a bit close it looked a nice place he bolted in a random direction
As he ran he saw a gate way and ran along a stone pathway.
Then flashes zipped past him bolts of light exploded on the ground accompanied by shouting for some reason he thought of Indiana Jones as the portcullis started to come down an arrow zipped past but no Nazis this time...
He risked a look back and regretted it
...Just A lot of pissed off pony's!
He reached the gate way and there was only a foot left between the portcullis and the ground
"On my ass I go" he said to himself as he slid under the portcullis holding on to his hat then he bolted down the hill arrows raining down one bouncing off the toe cap in his boot he crept running the trench coat billowing out behind him
He kept running until he saw a town.
Stopping he looked round.
Gold clad ponies where starting to run down the hill he ran on moving to the very adage of the town and in a bush his hand reached up.
He pulled out his shotgun and looked at it was new Winchester pump an SXP black synthetic then loaded up.
Night gently moved the branch on the bush down to see what was happening
The golden armored ponies where now in the town talking to ponies and moving around the town
Night slipped out the bush and entered the town sticking to the shadows his mind was racing "Where am I? What the hell are the pony's going to do to me it the get me.
He heard a two set of feet on the floor round the bend as he dived into another bush as a pair of armored pones came in to the ally and trotted past.
As he creped along a back ally his luck ran out.
He heard a shout and turned to fine'd the unicorn that had the sword and five other golden pony's standing at the end of the ally "Shit" Night bolted and the guards ran after him.
He rounded a corner and saw a large square and slid to a stop the small studs on the bottom of his boots striking sparks on the flag stone's there was a ring of guards holing the seething mass of pony's back but the instant they saw him then the guards turned and tightened the circle around him.
Night swung his shotgun round pointing it at anyone that got two close for him to feel comfortable they were staying away from him then they parted leaving a gap he ran for it but he couldn't he pumped his leg's but he was staying in the same spot then he saw a gold aura had surrounded him.
Celestia watched with amusement as it struggled in here magic but she admired it's determination to get free.
The others moved beside her "Found it I see" Luna said
"I wounder what that thing it holding is?" Twilight asked aloud
"I think its a weapon" Shining stated eyeing it with suspicion
Celestia let the creature go as it had strop'd struggling and the look it gave Celestia said it was not happy.
It stood there looking at the guards and brandished the weapon at any guards that came close
Celestia walked right up to it it was a head shorter than her Luna followed but it raised the black object it held to point at Luna the guards leveled there cross bows.
"Luna i think you better stay back."
"You are to come with me no pony will harm you" Celestia said clearly to it...nothing.
Celestia sight and lifted it with her magic it struggled then before she could react it reached up and pinched her top lip
Celestia eye's rolled up in to her head, her wings fell to the ground, her legs felt wake and her magic stoped a feeling of unimaginable bliss came over her an it held her top lip and with the other hefted the black object.
She could not do anything not even think the felling was so good.
"Archers!" Shining shouted but the thing rested the thin end of the object under the princess chin "Hold" Shining ordered the threat was clearer it slowly moved back to the mouth of the ally the princess following the gentle pull on her lip
"Why don't you do something!" Luna shouted "It's a dead-pony switch it we kill it the body will tense and the thing it is holding will kill the princes" Shining told Luna
By now it was near the start of the ally it gestured to the guards standing there with its head a few nods away from the ally "Get out of the way" was the clear meaning.
The silents that followed could of been cut with a knife the guards looked at Shining he gave a curt nod and they moved the ally was open.
Celestia felt the presser lessen and she was able to look down in to it's eye's and saw a look of apology on it face as it let go and it was gone.
"Move!! Chases it down!!" Shining bellowed and fifty guards raced to the ally to be meet with a explosion and a collection of "PPPEEEEEWWW" noises the guards hesitated then raced in looking for the thing that had threaten there princes.
Twilight, Luna, Shining, Rarity, Rainbow, Applejack, Pinky and Fluttershy stood in front of the Princes who had not moved from when she was released.
"Sister did It heart you!" Luna asked
Celestia looked in to the dark ally for a few seconds "I'm...fine just... flustered that's all."
"What did it do to you?" Twilight asked "I..don't know" Celestia responded tacking deep breaths to calm herself then she spoke up "Well..Shining fined it and bring it to me.
She tore here eye's from the ally and to the pony's
"Well it can't get far but we need to get you to safety I think you need to go back ponyvill" said Shining Armorer
"I agree" Celestia said "It will be better for you if you did."
They all headed to the train station the pony's along the way bowing to Celestia and Luna.
Night panted as he ran the sounds of hove's on the stone had died long ago but he keep't running his shotgun safely back in it's slip as he stoped and took a deep breath.
There was a sound similar to steam engines working.
He headed to the sound's and found a train station and a train sat at the platform belching steam the wire fence was all that was in the way he needed to get a way from the golden pony's.
A flourish and his knife was cutting the thin wire and with a squeeze and some silent swearing he was through there was a few hundred yard dash to the train.
He looked at the train it looked like a passenger train there was a boxcar on the end and the sliding door was open a unicorn was pushing bags into it.
"Now or never." Night muttered and ran for the boxcar and he pulled the door to.
As he did he caught sight of a small group of pony's one with a multicolored main.
Night felt a like a lead brick had drop into his pant's as he recognize that one "Oh crap" Night whispered.
Celestia looked round "Are you ready to go?" she asked looking at the small group of six pony's. Pinky was bouncing around the group as she always did. "Yes will you tell me if you find the creature will you?" Twilight asked looking up at Celestia "I will" Celestia said looking down to her favorite student as she followed the other six on to a carriage.
Celestia watch'd the train as it pulled away from the platform and rounded the corner the boxcar at the end left her sight.
"Come sister let us return home" Luna said and with a pop they vanished.
Night slid the door shut and let out a long whistle barely audible over the noise of the train.
Looking around as he sat down his eyes where heavy and they slowly closed as he allowed sleep to take him.
Night woke to the scratching sound of metal on metal.
He stood as he rubbed his eyes clearing them of any sleep as the train screamed to a stop.
He slowly slid the door he had been leaning on to sleep open to find a platform swarming with pony's.
He slid the door closed and went to the other side.
Sliding the door ajar to find an expanse of field's doted with houses.
The door behind him opened and Night bolted throwing the door open and he ran to the fields jumping fence's and running into the dark of the night his coat billowing behind him.
Chapter 6 "Red Barn and Biscuits"

"Red Barn and Biscuits"
Night laid there the smell of hay filling his nose the sun had just started to rise outside seeping in through the small door in the wall.
He cracked his eyes open slowly to find the hay loft of the wooden barn he had eventually decided to sleep in.
The trench coat he'd slept under slipped off to the floor with a soft "Thunk" but something had woke him.
He sat silently there listening...there was talking it sounded like there where three voices coming from outside the barn.
Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo headed for the barn followed by Applejack a look of pain on her face "Ya'll sure you wan'a do this?" "YES" the three say in unison.
"We haven't try'd farm work yet!" Scootaloo exclaimed as Apple Bloom pulled the barn door open.
"So what we going to do!" Sweetie Belle asked practically squealing the question at Applejack.
"Well we'll be plowing some of the fields’ today so you three are going to help me but first." Applejack turned and yelled "BIG MMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCC!!" she tern'd to find Scootaloo half way up the ladder to the hay loft "And where you think you going sugar cube?"
Scootaloo looked down "Nothing" an annoyed look on her face.
"Well get down before you fall" as she jumped on to the floor Applejack kicked the ladder over.
"You call'd" Big McIntosh said as he came in Applejack looked at him.
"You ready?"
"Eeeyup"
"Let’s go"
Big McIntosh pulled the plow out of the barn and the cutie mark crusaders swarmed around his legs asking if they could try plowing.
Applejack turn'd to start to look for the bag of seed's that was needed there was a creek from the hay loft and a bit of hay fell onto the floor in front of her
Applejack looked up "humm" there was a grey metal can sitting on the top of the hay pail then she shrugged "It's probably Big Mac's junk." she thought and continued to look for the hessian bag.
Night slid out from behind the hay bale as the large red pony and the three small pony's left the orange one with the cowboy hat was left looking for something.
Night slid down on the floor and into a hay pile as he pulled the bi-pod down and rested his rifle on the floor bored it admitted a loud creak and a bit of hay fell from the silencer screwed on to the end of his .223.
Orange looked directly at him.
The second's past like ice-age's then the pony looked away then she looked away Night closed his eyes and open'd his right eye.
The thin black lines with four notches on each line of the cross slowly moved over Orange's body.
Night noticed what looked like tattoo on her ass it showed three apples.
Slowly moving up to her the neck and to the head.
Night knew it was female he had worked with horses with his friend's... Night blinked no not anymore his friend's left him.
Orange turned and she was looking all most at him.
Her eyes where a brilliant shade of green.
The spring creaked as the presser increased on the trigger the cross hair's rested perfect in between her eye's.
Those eyes where so innocent the cross hairs moved slightly then Night lifted his head from the wooden stock and slid back from the edge of the floor.
He couldn't do it Si was right he was going soft but she had done nothing to harm him so he had no reason to harm her but if he was found...
Orange suddenly exclaimed and grabbed a bag on the floor and trotted out.
"Fuuuuuuck" Night breathed out as he pulled the bolt back and popped the round out and into his trench coats left pocket.
Night fell back on to the small pile of hay he had slept on.
He laid there for a few minutes *Ggggeeerrwww* his stomach growled,
Night sat up "When did I last eat?" he thought looking to the two duffel bags and two slips sitting ageist the wall next to him.
He looked at the edge of the hay loft "Well Orange took the ladder down and I don't fancy having my ankles in my arse or I'd go looking for food."
Night pulled the nearest duffel bag into his lap and he opened it.
A large wade of paper and a pencil and a few collard pencil’s, a tent peg from the now ruined tent he'd left on the other side a few bottles of water, two packs of chocolate digestive's.
Then his hand meet a tin then another two Night pulled one out.
Night had to resist shouting out.
"SPAM there is a god" he whispered as he ripped the lid off digging his knife in and shoved a chunk it in to his mouth.
"Pharr ... Mask" he thought had had forgotten he'd had it on.
He pulled the mask down and began shovelling the spam in.
He threw the empty tin agents the wall and looked around his eyes rested on the paper and pencils "What else is there to do." he thought sliding the mask back up.
Night pulled the paper in to his lap and picked up the pencil'
"Humm what to draw draw..." he thought for a few seconds then he decided.
Night held up the two drawing's prancing the work.
He liked them he'd got Orange's likeness quiet well one showed her sat looking at him the other
She was sat looking up at the night sky moon and stars a shooting star flying across the sky.
Night round looked to see ..."Aww crap".
Orange was stood there looking at the two drawing's he held a tint of red on her checks then she looked in to his eyes.
Night saw fear but there was curiosity.
As he looked back into her eyes her blush grew.
Chapter 7
"Discovery"
Applejack picked up the sack in her teeth and trotted out of the barn.
She saw big Mac in the distance the filly's dancing around him.
As she walked her thought wandered to the conversation she, Twilight, Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy had on the train back to ponyvill.
"I wounder what it is?" Twilight thought out loud they all looked at her.
"Well if Celestia and Luna don't know how do you expect us to know" Applejack responded
"Good heavens if those where clothes it was wearing I might die!" Rarity said as she patted her chest
"No way those where cloths I'v never seen pattern like that and beside it looked to fuzzy to be clothes it had to be fir." Dash put in.
"If it was fir why ya'll suppose it flapped out behind it when it made off like stink" Applejack said
"A...a tail maybe." a small voice said.
Twilight looked at Fluttershy "That's a possibility" she said
A few minutes past with only the noise of the train then Dash smiled.
"I can't believe when Luna shouted it out the window it landed on Blue Blood that was just awesome!" she said smiling as she remembered.
"Hardly" Rarity commented
Pinky burst in to the compartment a tray of food on her back
"IWOUNDERIFITLIKESCAKEIHOPITLIKESCAKEIMGOINGTOMAKEACAKEANDGIVEITTOIT!!!!" Pinky shouted as she came in
"Well I never saw a mouth i don't think it eats the same as us" Twilight said
"Awwww" Pinky's main lost it's puffiness falling straight for a moment then it shot back to it original puffiness "Well I'll eat it's share of cake!" she said.
Dash closed her eyes and yawned.
"I hope it's OK it look'd rather fragile" Fluttershy whispered to her self.
"It'l be fine you saw it make off from the guards and after taking that fall from the window and the portal" Dash said not opening her eye's.
Applejack's reminiscing was interrupted as she entered the field.
Big McIntosh look'd at Applejack then the three filly's jump'd on her
"Can we put the seeds in the ground" Apple Bloom asked bouncing up and down "No I'm doing it" Sweetie Belle said back grabbing the seed bag in her mouth "No I am" Apple Bloom said grabbing the other side of the bag and pulled.
The two fought over the bag
"Apple Bloom! You can do it a..." Applejack interjected but it was two late
The bag split and seed's flew all over the place some bouncing of Big Mac's snout.
Applejack shook her head and seed's fell her main and the rim of her hat.
"Well shoot ya don't need to fight over it".
The two filly's looked down at the ground in shame.
"Well it don't matter any way that sack wouldn't cover the whole field any way."
"There's another sack in the hay loft." Big Mac said looking at the barn in the distance
"Ya sure it's up there" Applejack asked looking back to the barn.
"Eeeyup"
"We'll get it" the three fill's said in unison
"No" Applejack said as she trotted of to the barn leaving Big Mac to look after the trio of trouble.
As Applejack trotted in to the farmyard Winona ran up ad started to pull on her main.
"What ya want girl?" Applejack asked.
Winona let go and walked in to the barn and Applejack followed she'd never seen Winona act like this before.
Winona was sat in the middle of the barn looking up at the hay loft.
Applejack shook her head and pushed the ladder to the hay loft back up and claimed up.
Applejack step'd on to the floor of the hay loft and looked round.
Her hart stoped.
There siting ageist the wall was the creature from yesterday looking at something in its lap.
The green brown fir was missing but the fir that looked like stick's and leaves was covering it's body.
Dash was right it look'd to fuzzy to be fabric.
Applejack dent take her eyes of it but slowly took a step forward her hoof steps muffled by the hay on the floor.
Applejack felt her muscles tens in anticipation she knew if she had to she could render it unconscious with one hard kick and that's what she had to do but something made stop'd her.
Applejack took another step forewords.
It had grow fir on it's fore hoof and half way up the strange legs.
It then held up two white squares that looked like parchment.
It had done something on them and Applejack stepped to the side to see what it was.
Applejack felt the redness fill her cheeks as she saw what was on the white squares both depicted her.
One she was sitting looking out of the picture to the on looker and in the other she was sat looking in to the night sky.
The creature then looked at her and she felt her cheeks glow as it locked eyes with her.
She tense'd ready to buck as it raised a foreleg then...waved slowly at her.
Applejack was taken aback by this and simply waved back.
It offered the two drawings to her and with out thinking Applejack took them in her mouth and set them down all the while not taking an eye of it.
Then it reached down and pupped the green brown fir off the floor and pulled it over its shoulders "So it was a jacket not fur and tail" she thought "Er...howdy" she said to it.
It turned it is head to the side as it it was trying to understand something "My name is Applejack i ant gona hurt you" she said.
Then she pate'd her chest "Applejack" she said slowly.
Night watched as Orange patted her chest and repeated a word in her odd language "Her name?"He thought
Night slipped two fingers down ether side of his noise and started to pull the mask down and Orange looked horrified and he did a soothing gestures with free hand and finished pulling the mask down he waited a few seconds as Orange's eye's wandered over his face then he try'd imitating the noises she said.
Applejack watched as it reached up and dug two of the small legs under the fir on its face and was horrify'd at the fact it was mutilating it's self in front of her.
It must of shown on her face as it used the other foreleg and hoof to slowly move up and down in a calming fashion.
It then pulled the fir down Applejack expected to see blood and exposed flesh but instead found skin like a shaved animal and a large bit sticking out then a mouth is smiled at her as she took all this in.
Then it spoke "Aplerr... Apple...Applejonk...Applejinck....Applejack... Applejack" the creature said a small smile on it face
For some reason Applejack found her self smiling back nodding "Applejack" she replied nodding.
It patted it's chest and spoke Applejack try'd to imitate it but found it impossible
It rubbed it's chin the picked up the small pile white squares next to it and presided to draw something a minute past and it held up another drawing.
It showed Applejack shaking hoof's with the creature to other showed her kicking it
It then pointed too them looking at her.
Applejack smelled warmly at it and pointed to the first picture.
It seemed to relax a bit more at that and it patted the floor next to it.
Chapter 8 "A Friendly Chat"

Applejack slowly walked up to it and sat down on its right hoof side.
It reached to one of the two large olive green bag's and a few seconds of rummaging around it pulled a red pack it out and opened it.
Applejack smiled as it offered her a chocolate biscuits from the pack.
She took it and watched at it too took one and braking it in two put one half in its mouth.
Applejack took a bite.
It was a bit bitterer than what she was use to but it was still pleasant to eat she finished the biscuit
It gestated to the packet as if to say "Help your self." Applejack took the packet out and try'd to push out another.
The creature smiled and held up is fore hoof Applejack smiled at it as it opened the bag reviling all the biscuit's.
It took two and pick'd up the white squares and started to draw.
Applejack watched as it work'd the small leg's on its fore leg they moved with such dexterity that she could not help but stare in amazement.
She watched her self take form on the white then another different form and another.
It held up the drawing and Applejack stared in awe it was good very good.
It showed: Her,Rarity,Pinky,Fluttershy,Dash,Twilight and Celestia.
"AJ? AJ? you OK?" It was Big Mac Applejack looked to the creature.
It was standing there the bags where on it back and the length of green fabric pulled up over its face again. Only its green eyes where left exposed.
"LOOK OUT!!" A rainbow flash came in through the loft door and took the creature over the edge of the floor.
There was a the sound of splintering wood and Big Mac shouting "What the HAY!" then there was the sound of Big Mac stamping and crashing sounds.
*AYE AYE AYA AYA AY!!!* Applejack looked down the ladder and found the creature in her face she fell on her rump in surprise.
Applejack felt the blush bloom as it took her in a hug and hid behind her whimpering.
It's grip tightened as Big Mac's rose up the ladder.
"Get your hoof's off ma sis!!" Mac shouted
"Applejack! Applejack!" it said hugging her even tighter.
Applejack patted the two foreleg's it had around her mid-drift "It's OK sugar cube It's OK he an gona hurt ya" she cooed softly and felt her blush grow as it hid its face in her main.
"HOW YA KNOW MA SIS'S NAME!!!" Mac bellowed. Applejack felt it tremble as it hug'd her.
"I told her it and ya don't need to holla" Applejack assumed it was female but she could't tell "She is scared witless!" she whisper'd at Big Mac continuing to pat and rub the for legs around her middle.
"What ya do to her?" Applejack asked
"Try to stamp on it once or twice i only just mist..." Mac's face hardened "...but it'll find out if it don't get off ya"
Applejack suddenly felt the dampness in her main then she released it was crying.
Night saw out the corner of his eye.
Orange was staring at his fingers as he drew her and the other's from when he fell from the hole.
Night held up the drawing and was about to try to ask if she knew the white alicorn when there was a shout from he barn door below.
Orange turned to look to wards the shouting as she did Night scooped the bag's on to his back then the gun slips.
Orange looked back at him as he finished pulling the face mask up.
Night herd another shout from behind.
But whatever it was hit him like a tank and carried him over the edge of the board's
Night opened his eye's to find the rainbow mane'd one standing on his chest a evil smile on it face.
A shadow covered him and Night looked up to see the big Red standing over him.
Night threw rainbow of him and role'd as a hoof came down where his head was a second ago.
Red kept stamping where he was and Night keep't rolling till he found the bottom of the ladder.
Then making a noise like Frank from The Rescuers Down Under he scrambled up the ladder at breakneck speed.
As he reached the top Orange pock'd her head over and there noses where practically touching.
Orange pulled back and Night pulled him self up as the pain of the fall started to make it's self felt.
Night felt him self finely brake he had been fighting it for a while.and just gave in he took Orange in a hug and sat behind her.
Night stopped fighting it and started whimpering.
The portal,his family, this world, it was to much.
Night tighten his grip on Orange as he s Big n Red came up the ladder
Big n Red shouted and all Night could do was say Oranges name and hug her tighter.
He felt Orange pat his arms and coo to him Night hid his face in her main the smell of Apples met his nose.
He was broken and he knew one of them shouted and hes started to tremble.
Night felt tears started to fall and into Orange's mane all he wanted to do was go home to family.
Dash flew up from the floor and into the loft.
"AJ! you good?" Dash asked
"Yer but it her I'm worry'd for" Applejack said gesturing at Night who was giving out low moan's and sobs
"Mac can ya go get Fluttershy and the others."
"I an leaving ya with that..thing" Big Mac said eyeing Night
"Look at her ya think she gonna do anything?"
"Plus I'm hear I can kick It's flank if we need to" Dash said looking at Night with curiosity particularly the hand's around Applejack's mid-rift.
"Ya look after each other" Big Mac said as he slid down the ladder.
Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash to find her smiling at her "What?"

Night look'd up from Orange's main as he herd a door close to find Rainbow main looking at him smiling.
Applejack felt the foreleg's around her let her go.
She tern'd to find the creature sitting ageist the wall again rubbing it's eye's and breathing hard.
"Hay! AJ you think it's OK?" Dash asked looking at Night
"What ya think? she's in a new world,new pony's non of her own species how would ya do?"
"I would't be such a wimp about it but...I guess." Dash said.
Big Mac knocked on the door of Fluttershy's cottage.
The door open'd a crack and Mac cough sight of a pink mane

Dash walked up to creature "Can you draw one of me?" she asked It tern it's head inquisitively.
Dash pointed to the drawing then to her self and under standing bloomed in It's eyes and it pull fir down to reveal a face.
It patted the floor next to it and Dash sat down next to it and like Applejack before watched her self take form it only stopping to look at her then it continued.
Dash stared in awe as it held up the finished drawing and she took it and looked closer.
The detail was amazing.
"H...hello?" a soft voice call'd out from the barn's floor.

A few seconds later Night saw a bright pink main just and so showing at the top of the ladder he sat perfectly still he had a feeling this was the best thing to do.
Applejack look'd at the ladder and saw the familiar pink main of Fluttershy "Well come on up"
Fluttershy clime'd the last few steps and on to the hayloft's floor one eye just visible.

Night looked you to see Orange,Rainbow,the shy yellow Pegasus and... Night moaned as he saw Pink n Bouncy looking down at him beaming like a nutter.
"The fuck bouncy?" he whispered as he reached up to try and pull him self off the nail that was holding him there.
"Applejack" Fluttershy's jaw drop'd as the creature said Applejack's name
"H...how dose it know your name?" Fluttershy asked nopony in particular.
"I told her it" Applejack said then she grabbed Night in her mouth by the scurf of the neck and help't him up.
As the creature sat on the edge of the hole Fluttershy moved a bit closer to the odd bi-pedal animal.
Big Mac knocked on the door of the Ponyvill library and was answer'd with a shout "Just a minuet"
Mac sigh'd he'd already gone to Rarity and she said she'd tell Pinky Pie and now it was Twilight Sparkle.
A minute or two later the door open'd and Big Mac was meet by sight of Twilight in her lab coat a pair of dark goggles rested on her forehead "Big Mac can this wait this isn't the best time"
"F'rad not ma sis need ya help with some thing in the barn it's...."
Big Mac's explanation was interrupted by an explosion from the basement.
"I'll be there later!" Twilight shouted as she closed the door.
As Big Mac trend he herd twilight shouting Spike's name.
Big Mac started to walk back home his mind reeling with questions.
"Applejack darling are you in here?" Rarity's voice floated up to Applejack's ears
"Rarity ya better get your self up here" Applejack replied
Rarity pulled her self up on to the floor boards.

There was Applejack, Rainbow Dash ,Fluttershy, Pinky Pie.

Rarity gasped and it tern'd to look at her reviling a shaven face with green eye's.
It look'd confused "Applejack?" It said
Applejack smiled softly at it "Ya'll be OK sugar cube" She then tern'd to Rarity "She cant understand us and she only knows my name" Applejack explained.
"O...so that why it ran." Rarity said as she continued to look at the thing as Fluttershy held one of its strange hoofs.
Rarity look'd at Night and she twisted her head slightly in a inquisitive way.
Night re paid the look then look'd back to Fluttershy as she let go of his hand and move closer.
Fluttershy look'd in to his eye's a soft blush on her cheek's
"HI!" Pinky Pie exploded from the other duffle bag.
Fluttershy squeak in surprise and fright as she hid behind her main.
Night jump'd at the same time and grab'd Pinky's top lip and gave it a squeeze and held it firm.
"Will you stop doing do that...." Night remembered they couldn't understand him.
Night sigh'd as he herd Pinky n bouncy moan.
