The mane 10!

This story will be in Blue's point of view so the mane 6 and Artie + Vido won't be seen or heard until the next chapter. Enjoy!

Blue flew to the open grassy clearing. The field was ginormous and to say that is an insult. There was mostly plains and a few flower patched and it would've been beautiful if there wasn't a giant war going on. Some crew members that weren't in the ship must've tracked their location and were having an all out battle royale with the aliens. Master Chief was of course in the front lines, listening to no one as he took out waves of aliens who were either running, hiding, or facing their deaths like heroes and charging at him, only to get punched by the butt end of Chief's gun.

The rest of the human crew weren't so lucky as Chief. The smart aliens stayed away from Chief and shot at the crew. The giant aliens that Blue had used to run away from were charging the crew and would punch them across the field.

"God I'm tired." Blue said under his breath as he looked down.

"What's wrong?" Sylvia asked.

"I think I am gonna take those kids on their offer to leave as soon as possible. This war is tiring me, I'm getting sad just thinking about all of this. Our universe shouldn't have to go through what I went through at all, I wouldn't even wish this on the worst of my enemies... okay maybe only on some of my enemies." Blue sighed.

"I'm with you. Being here for so long I have the knowledge of an AI system. But I miss being hungry, sad, tired, angry." Sylvia said with a small smile.

"When we get back, do you want to buy that house in Ponyville that was abandoned? We can fix it up and live there like we said we would when we were little." Blue offered.

Sylvia pondered it for a minute then said, "That would be perfect."

"Okay it's settled! LET"S GO!" Blue yelled as he pulled out his assault rifle and charged forward.

"Don't get us killed before we even get back home!" Sylvia yelled as Blue charged into battle.

He had the energy sword strapped to his hoof so when he wasn't shooting, he was hacking away at the aliens. He flew right toward the biggest alien and hacked at his armor, making it fall off into small pieces. He then stabbed him and lifted him off the ground.

"Hey buddy, you don't look so alright there." Blue whispered to the alien as the alien choked out blood and gurgled something before Blue threw him to the floor. Blue then grabbed a small alien and held him as a hostage while he shot everyone else off. There were broken rock piles, pillars, and bodies everywhere so Blue easily had some cover.

When the crew saw how a stallion and Master Chief was taking on this whole army, that gave them the morale to charge through. The battle was doing pretty good until a giant dropship came. It released some spider like arms and attached itself to the ground. It was huge and purple with a glossy look. The side had about six turrets with aliens clearly running around for who knows why. The middle was its weak point obviously because the power core was clearly visible but it was too far up to shoot at.

"How are we going to get up there?" Master Chief asked Blue. At that moment a Ghost (a small, quick and agile gravity effected vehicle that could be used to fly up into the hull of the ship) came flying past Chief. The alien onboard was yelling some kamikaze nonsense that no one could understand, but when it flew past Master Chief, he held out his arm and knocked the alien off the ghost.

Leaving the alien writhing in pain and holding onto his neck for dear life, the two heroes flew up to the hull and Master Chief jumped on board.

"You ready?" Blue asked as Master Chief pulled out his assault rifle.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Chief said as he ran forward.

Amazingly, almost no alien was in their way. only a few came but when they saw them, they turned away like they saw nothing and the two heroes just walked past trying to get the job done. When they got to the power core, they were amazed that no resistance was there.

"This is too easy, it's almost disrespectful." Blue said as he trotted forward.

"No, DON'T!" Chief pulled Blue's tail and Blue flew back.

"Ouch, what was that for?" Blue yelled as he straightened his tail.

"You don't notice anything weird?" Master Chief said.

"No, what, are you talking about my tail? It has gotten too long hasn't it, I knew I should've shaved!" Blue cried as he facehooved himself.

"No, you're tail is perfect, remember how there was so many aliens running around the power core and now there's no one here?"

"...My tail is perfect?"

"Stay on track Blue, something isn't right." Master Chief pulled out a grenade and threw it with its cap still on. It rolled around and a laser beam sliced it clean in half.

"Wow." Blue said.

"Yeah, that could've been you."

"No not that! The grenade didn't explode."

"Stay on track Blue, we gotta find someone to figure out the code to turn this beam off."

As Master Chief said that, the whole ship rocked. Blue and Chief looked outside to see the ship they were on was shooting a laser beam all across the field. Vaporizing humans and aliens alike with no problem.

"Oh no." Blue said as Chief stopped looking.

"We need to find someone!" Master Chief yelled.

At that same time, the same alien they saw earlier with the other two aliens walked past them whistling a tune to himself. He was wearing a white lab coat and was pretty content with himself until it saw Master Chief and Blue staring at him. It thought that since they ignored it last time, it thought it could do it again. But, this time he was by himself so he ended up speed walking. Blue flew ahead and landed in front of him growling. The alien turned around getting ready to sprint until it looked up and saw Master Chief looking at him and he punched the alien in the face.

"Did you really have to knock him out? Blue asked as the carried him to the room.

"Did you really have to scare him to make him run away?" Chief said as they dropped him off to the floor.

"Yes...yes I did." Blue said with a smile.

The alien was stirring awake. Master Chief obviously didn't punch him hard enough because not only did he wake up sooner then they thought but he was alive. It started yelling at them and Blue put his hoof over the alien's mouth.

"DO...NOT...SPEAK...WE...JUST...WANT...TO...OPEN...THINGIE...AND...BLOW...IT...UP...TO...SAVE...EVERYONE." Blue yelled slowly, hoping the alien could understand him.

"Don't tell him that, he probably wont even help us now." Chief said.

"He probably didn't even understand me." Blue said with a shrug.

"I did, and I don't approve of you two trying to blow up my generator." the alien said as it took out it's glasses from its lab coat.

"The alien speaks human! And not just human, it speaks English!" Blue yelled.

"I studied your language for a week and if I lived on your planet, I'd be a language professor and scholar. Your language is so simple. Our rejected idiots would figure it out within a month!" The alien said.

"Oh great, not only is a douche and we need it's help, but it is a smart douche." Blue yelled.

"What's your name?" Master Chief asked.

"Norenovgolten. But, you can call me Noire."

"Hello Noire. I'm Blue and the brooding armor bound bad boy is Master Chief." Blue said.

"Not a pleasure, now what do you want?" Noire asked.

"We would like... you to destroy the beam that doesn't let anyone-" Blue was cut off buy another wave of a laser beam that was getting more and more worse by the minute.

"Why should I help you two. In case you forgot, One of you scared me and the other knocked me out." Noire said.

"Well, we could kill you and just plasma grenade this place." Blue said.

"Wouldn't work. The only way you can even hurt this ship is by me and by hurting the power core." Noire said with a smile.

"Fine then, Master Chief, give Noire here a universal purple nurple. Then, break his glasses." Blue said as Master Chief stood up to deliver Noire to pain.

"OKAY OKAY! NO MORE PURPLE NURPLE"S MOMMY!" Noire yelled.

"What?" Blue asked.

"Nothing, forget it." Noire said as he scampered to the control panel. After a couple of minutes of clicking and laser beams going off outside, Noire exclaimed he had finished. So Master Chief threw a grenade in the laser beam field again for nothing to happen.

"Good work, thanks." Chief said as he pushed everyone out of his way.

"No problem." Noire said as he blushed.

Blue and Chief looked at this giant looking plasma grenade and pulled out their guns. They fired at it and after five minutes of just shooting. The plasma grenade turned red and started growing and shrinking.

"It's gonna blow!" Noire yelled.

Master Chief and Blue only saw the open shaft in front of them with no soft landing. Master Chief grabbed Noire and jumped while Blue flew down. Blue held on to Chief's waist while Chief was holding Noire like a football. Blue propelled Master Chief down and let him go with both of them rolling. When they got up the saw aliens jumping out from all over the place and they saw the ship explode. Sending chunks everywhere. Some of the chunks even scattered into the forests.

Blue thought about his friends and hoped they were okay. Noire was cursing and screaming until Chief let him go. Noire looked around and giggled.

"It feels good to do something good!" Noire yelled.

"You actually mean it feels good to be alive." Blue said as he smiled.

"Okay, maybe that too." Noire said.

Blue actually looked around and saw that a lot of people were dead. bodies were everywhere, from aliens to humans. Blue looked into the forest and saw some crew members limping to them.

"We knew you two were okay Sarge!" One crew member exclaimed. They all looked at Noire but decided against shooting him.

Blue was extremely happy but he finally realized he was ready to go home.

"Chief, I gotta tell you something-"

"Go Blue. Don't worry about me, I'll take care of myself." Master Chief said as he gave Blue a thumbs up.

Blue was getting teary eyed. "I'll miss you bro." "You saved my life once too many times. If you ever come visit, I'll show you some really tasty hay fries."

"Can't wait." Chief said with what Blue guessed was a laugh.

"Don't be surprised if I come back with a son named Chief." Blue said a she started walking away from waving hands.

"Don't be surprised if you come back and you see my son named Lightning." Chief said.

Everyone was waving. Some were even teary eyed. Noire for some odd reason since he only knew Blue and Chief for ten minutes was sobbing green tears.

"I'll miss you too Noire." Blue said.

"I...I'll... I LOVE YOU BLUE!" Noire yelled.

"And that's my cue to leave." And with that, Blue flew off.

Blue flew with a new purpose. He was sad yet happy about leaving. He started doing spirals and stunts he hadn't done in years. He finally landed to see the portal open and everyone going in.

"You ready yet? Artie asked as Blue stood with them.

"Yeah, I'm ready. I'm ready to go back home." Blue said with tears in his eyes. Sylvia showed up on the screen with a grin. It was an honest grin that made her eyes shine.

"I am too." They stepped into the portal with a new hope. And with new adventures awaiting.
