Chapter 2.
(The following events happen during Equestria Girls)

After four months under Rarity’s teachings, he has remembered to use the levitation, illumination, and other basic spells for unicorns to know. He has become very helpful since then and even helped Rarity with her job as a clothes designer, but even if he had been drained of his magic each day from helping; his generosity flower petal has appeared in his flank. The sun was brought up again, a new day was brought which means…

“Oh great, time to wake up Rarity again.” Flower Power said to himself in discomfort. He got himself ready to Rarity’s standard because of her saying how she won’t have her apprentice looking like a slob, once he was at the front of Carousel Boutique and knocked on the door, a filly opened it and told him.

“Finally. You’re ten minutes late.”

“I’m sorry Rarity,” yawned Flower Power. “I just had to make myself look nice for you- Wait… Sweetie Belle? Where’s your sister?”

“My sister’s went to Crystal Empire with her friends about an hour ago and she wanted me to give you this.” said Sweetie Belle as she handed him a note.

~Dear Flower Power,

I am with my friends and will be gone hopefully just for the weekend. I leave my sister in your hooves until I return. Please make sure she is well rested and doesn’t get into trouble.

“Gosh your sister drives me nuts.” said Flower Power

“Yeah I guess.” said Sweetie Belle chuckling, “So then I’m sure that if Rarity’s gone, that would mean so is Applejack… Can I go meet with Applebloom? Please?” said Sweetie Belle.

“Alright fine, but first you as your guardian for the weekend I must ask if you’re hungry…. Are you?” said Flower Power.

“Nah, maybe later.” said Sweetie Belle as they made their way to Sweet Apple Acres and Dropped off Sweetie Belle at the CMC tree house, where there awaits Applebloom and Scootaloo. After dropping her off, Flower Power went back home and made a to-do list of spells he need to work on. He began to levitate a plate before a loud knocking disturbed him and made him drop it. He went to answer it and saw the three fillies at his porch.

“*Sigh* now what?” said Flower Power

“So neighbor…. is it alright if we have our crusader meeting here?” said Applebloom

“What’s wrong with your tree house?” Asked Flower Power

“It’s infested with bees.” said Sweetie Belle

“So we have to wait until Big Mac come backs with an exterminator to get rid of them. So can we do our meeting here?” Asked Scootaloo

“Well I suppose I have a spare room upstairs, just don’t make mess up there.” said Flower Power as he let the crusaders enter. It won’t long before he regrets it.

While practicing more on magic, he heard a loud thump coming upstairs and went to check on them and found the room to be covered in paint with colors that collided with each other. “What happen?”

“Well I guess we won’t be getting our cutie marks on painting” said Scootaloo

“Or remodeling.” said Applebloom

He held back his anger and took a deep breath. “Just go clean yourselves up at bathroom across the hall.”
After he used magic to help him clean the paint off, he felt a pony tugging on his mane.

“Say we’re kinda hungry, so could you make us some breakfast?” asked Sweetie Belle

“Why should I?” said Flower Power

“Because Rarity said that you have to take care of me and I’ll tell if you don’t feed us.” said Sweetie Belle with a smile.

“Alright fine…” as soon as they left he face-hoofed himself realizing, “I can’t believe I just let a filly threaten me.”

He went down to the kitchen, where he saw three hungry fillies waiting for him to make them breakfast. He got out the ingredients and utensils he need and with the help off magic, he made them special pancakes. As they smelled it, their mouths watered and ate them with delight.

“These are really good.” said Scootaloo with her mouth full.

“Thanks. It’s an old ingredient from my dad.” said Flower Power

“You have a dad?” said Sweetie Belle

“Well, I had step-dad. I’m sure you might have heard of him in your school, Starswirl the Bearded?” said Flower Power

“Wait, Your dad is Starswirl the Beared?” said Applebloom, “I thought he was just a unicorn that isn’t around anymore and made a lot of spells that are used today?”

“Well he wasn’t always making new spells, he always made time to spend it with Me.” said Flower Power

Interested in him now, the crusaders decided to ask Flower Power more on how was Starswirl was before his passing. Happy to agree, he went to the storage room when he put his old items, he found an old and frail scrapbook filled with black and white pictures of him with his dad. They spent all day looking through it, talking about how life was like for pony folk.

“So if you were supposed to be a secret, who was taking these picture?” asked Applebloom

“We it was a very trust colleague of my dad, I believe his name was Professor Accord.” said Flower Power.

“What did he look like?” asked Scootaloo

“I don’t remember. I think he was tall, thin, a dragon I believe. It’s kind of a blur.” said Flower Power

Without knowing, Sweetie Belle flipped the book to the next page and saw a pic of his step-dad in a state of depression. “What happened here?”

Flower power carefully pulled the photo out and looked at the back of the photo for a date. He saw one written in scribbles and could recognize the date.

“This was a day or two after my banishment.” he said to the fillies

“Banishment? Does that mean you committed a crime?” asked Applebloom

“No. I didn’t commit a crime, they saw me as one.” he said to them.

“What happened?” asked Scootaloo

“I don’t think this is story young ponies need to hear.” just as he said that, he looked out the window and saw the sun starting to set. “When it’s almost night Applebloom and Scootaloo; you better get going before your family starts worrying. As for you Sweetie Belle, you can sleep here for tonight at the guest room, since I can’t leave you alone.”

So as the other two crusaders left, the moon was up and Flower Power tucked Sweetie Belle to bed and was getting ready to sleep as well. This whole day was almost enjoyable, until bad memories were brought up. He was moving around in his bed, clearly having a nightmare. “No please… somepony…. help.”

His dream was set in place centuries ago, royal guards were walking to the court with somepony in the middle of the crowd, wrapped in chains. They walk down the court; no pony was except them, StarSwirl and The King at the time. The pony in chains looked down to the floor to hide himself from the king

“……Look up young colt… I want to see the face of my daughters’ friend.”

He lifted his face up and all he saw was anger in the king’s face. “Hello sir.”

“If you’re to speak with me, address me as your highness. Now then, you are here for the charges of kidnapping my daughter at the night of the gala, entering my castle, and for hiding yourself from me young alicorn.” said the king. “Now tell me where are your parents?”

“…”

“ANSWER ME!”

“My parents of blood are dead. I only have my step-father.” Said Flower Power

“Then tell me his name.” said the king

Flower Power refused to point him out. “No. You’ll hurt him if I do.”

“Then I will make this quick. By my order, you are here by banished to the Equestria gem mines. Where you will work and be kept hidden from my subjects for as long as you shall live and you shall never see my daughters or your step-father. Eventually, they’ll forgot all about you; The alicorn abomination. Take him away” The King said to the guards.

At that moment, those words made him snap. “No…No….NO!” All of sudden a magical explosion occurred and his dream went to static. The next thing he remembers was Starswirl with his hooves around him to settle him and all he say was the chains broken, the guards unconscious, the king against the walls.

“Dad….I’m sorry.”

End of Chapter 2
