A New Friend

Sometime later, Muyo is relaxing at Sugar Cube Corner, reading a news paper. Suddenly he heard Rainbow Dash shout stampede, he looks to see a pack of cows running towards the town, ponies were in a panic except himself until AJ saved the day.

"Wow, she's good, real good" Muyo thought.

A couple of days after that, everypony gathered to celebrate her good deed, Muyo didn't like how Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy interrupted her.

"Ugh, let her talk, rude much" He thought.

Twilight raged quit thanks to Mayor Mare, she stood next to Muyo, he was in between her and Comet Tail.

"I wanted to hear your speech" He whispered.

"Thanks for saying so" She whispered back with a cheered up tone.

Mayor Mare shouted AJ's name and lifted the curtains but she wasn't there, Spike awkwardly stopped his cheer.

"Where is she? It's not like her to be late right?" Muyo asked mentally.

Suddenly AJ is heard approaching and get's on stage.

"AJ looks messy, did she get any sleep?" He asked mentally again.

Applejack thanked the mayor for the award thingy as she called it, started zooming at her reflection on the trophy like an idiot.

"What... Is she doing?" He whispered on Spike's ear.

"I have no idea" Spike answered.

Applejack leaves while dragging the trophy. Later, Muyo and Twilight go to the apple family farm to find Applejack, they notice her apple bucking but visibly tired, they approach her.

"Applejack what are you doing?" He asked her.

Applejack explains to them that it was Applebuck Season, which is what her family calls harvest time.

"Why are you doing it alone?" Twilight asked her friend.

"Cause Big Mac hurt himself" Applejack answered.

"What about those relatives i met when i first came? Can't they help?" Twilight asked her.

"Relatives?" Muyo asked.

"Oh right, you weren't there, i met several of AJ's apple based relatives when i first visited" Twilight explained to him.

"I see, so where are they?" Muyo asked AJ.

"They were only here for the apple family reunion, they actually live all over Equestria and are busy with their own crops, so i'm on my own" Applejack explained.

"Wow, i haven't been on a family reunion in a long time" Muyo said.

"Do you... Want some help?" Twilight asked her.

"Help?! No way, no how" Applejack answered.

"But there's no way you can harvest all these apples by yourself" Twilight told her.

"Not to mention the lack of sleep" Muyo added.

"Is that a challenge?" AJ asked.

"No" Twilight answered.

Applejack leaves to help Rainbow Dash. Twilight asks Muyo to follow AJ so he can keep an eye on her, he sees her launch Rainbow Dash, poison several ponies due to bake bads and cause a stampede of baby bunnies, as hilarious as it looked, Muyo and Twilight decided that enough is enough.

"This has gotten out of hoof, we gotta talk to Applejack now!" Muyo said to Twilight.

"I know, come on, to the farm" Twilight said.

On the way there.

"I haven't seen a pony this stubborn in a long while" Muyo said out loud.

Twilight slows down a bit.

"I know now isn't a good time but i'm curious, you mentioned that me and Spike reminded you of somepony and that you haven't been on a reunion in a long time" Twilight said to him.

"Yeah what of it?" Muyo asked.

"Well, i kinda want to know more, if we're gonna be friends, i may as well get to know you" Twilight answered.

Muyo thinks for a moment.

"After this, we'll talk" Muyo said to her.

Twilight nodded as they reach Applejack, Twilight tells her the trouble she caused because of her stubborn behavior, Applejack thought she finished and gloated but Big Mac showed her the rest of the trees which made her faint, she woke up and gave in. Muyo and the others help with the harvest, during a break, Applejack thanked us and apologized for her stubborness.

Later that night, Twilight invites Muyo over for that chat she asked him for.

"So what do you want to know?" Muyo asked.

"For starters, where are you from?" Twilight asked.

"Well i come from a country named Elysium, it's very far away, i was mostly raised by my mother with my siblings, Connor and Marina" Muyo told her.

"I see, very foreign, what brings you all the way here?" Twilight asked.

"I'm a traveler, so i've been to a lot of places you wouldn't believe, i do have a few souvenirs at home, even books" Muyo answered.

"Ooh, books from distant lands? I like the sound of it, so you came to explore?" Twilight asked.

"That and to settle in and... Find this one thing but i'm too embarrassed to say it out loud" Muyo answered.

"You can tell me, how embarrassing could it possibly be?" Twilight asked.

"One of the things i'm looking for is... A mare friend..." He said blushing.

Twilight blushes.

"I... See why you didn't want to say it... Found anypony... Yet?" She reluctantly asked.

"I'm taking it slow, don't want to get ahead of myself, i'm not picking just anypony, it's got to be the right girl... I really shouldn't be telling you this, i should go" He said.

"Wait! It's ok" Twilight said to him.

"I really should go, it's late" Muyo says as he leaves.

Twilight sighs.

"What was that about?" Spike asked.

"Shy i guess, Spike write a letter" Twilight told him.

*Dear princess Celestia, i had a chat with Muyo just now and got to know a little more about him, seems that he's looking for a special somepony but stopped and left, saying that he shouldn't be telling me this, he seemed very shy on that subject, i did ask him if he's found anypony of interest, i don't know why i asked, it just happened. I do hope to learn more about him, he's a good friend but i'll avoid any unnecessary talks of... Whatever it is that they call it, your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle*
