A New Friend

It's another good day in Pony Ville, Muyo had just reached the park and rested under a tree, he saw Rainbow Dash fly by and heard Pinkie Pie calling her name and chasing her, he walked to where Pinkie Pie was.

"What was that about?" Muyo wondered mentally.

Twilight was reading a book a few miles behind him, she looked away from her book and noticed him.

"Hello Muyo." She said.

Muyo looked back.

"Oh hi Twilight, didn't know you were there." He said.

"Want to read with me?" She asked nicely.

"Sure, i have nothing better to do." He replied.

Later the same day, Muyo was on his way to the town square pavilion until he saw Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie prank Spike, he couldn't help but chuckle when they started laughing, afterward they started pranking the others and saved him for last.

"Hey Muyo, could open this jar of peanut butter?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Muyo acted like he was clueless and he devised a trick.

"Sure, give it here please" He said.

He opens it easily but the prank didn't work... Or so it seemed.

"Thanks..." Dash said disappointed.

She looked at the jar then suddenly the fake snake pops on her face, Pinkie Pie laughs.

"He pranked you *Laughing* that was awesome, where did you learn that Muyo?" Pinkie asked.

"Trade secret." He answered.

Rainbow laughs.

"Your good, wanna prank with us?" Dash asked.

"Nah, i'm not into pranks." He answered.

"Well if you change your mind let us know" Pinkie said as she left.

The next day, while Pinkie was trying to catch up with Dash and Gilda, Muyo was at home, he felt a bit bored and couldn't seem to find a place to look up available jobs, he went outside to walk for a while and to gather his thoughts, he spots Twilight's house.

"Hmm... I wonder if Twilight has any books on wild life." He wonders mentally.

He walks there and knocks.

"Oh hi again Muyo." Twilight greeted.

"Hey Twi, got any books on Equestrian wild life?" He greeted then asked.

"Sure, come in." She answers.

She lets him in and gives him the book.

"Let's see." He mumbles.

Pinkie Pie enters a few minutes later and starts ranting about Gilda.

"A griffon? I've never seen one." Muyo said.

"Me neither." Twilight said.

After Pinkie ranted, Twilight believed that Pinkie is just jealous which made Pinkie mad and she stormed out.

"Twilight there's a chance that this Gilda is as mean as she says, you never know unless you meet her to be sure." Muyo said.

"You may be right." Twilight said.

"Twilight can i ask you something?" He asked.

"Of course you can." Twilight answered.

"Is it ok if i visit every now and then? I'm not being too clingy am i?" He asked.

"Of course it's ok, your welcome here, you are my friend after all, what provoked that question?" She answered.

"When i was a colt i was very insecure, even more so when meeting new ponies, so i asked." He explained.

Twilight smiled at him.

"You don't have to feel insecure around me, besides i like your company and your a good friend." She said.

Muyo felt much better.

"I like your company too, i'm gonna see this Gilda, that ok?" He asked.

Twilight nods, then he leaves.

"I'm liking him." Twilight said out loud.

"He does seem rather fond of you." Spike said to her.

"Think so?" Twilight asked him.

Meanwhile, Muyo observes Gilda from afar but Pinkie doesn't notice, after seeing Gilda's behavior he realizes that Pinkie was telling the truth, after Gilda flew away Pinkie decided to throw a party which he attends, he witnesses the pranks on Gilda and her outburst, after she left and Twilight sent the report he approached Twilight.

"Hey Twilight." He called.

"Oh Muyo, i was gonna look for you, you were right, i should've thought of it earlier but i'm glad everything went ok." She told him.

"Simple common sense." He said.

"Remember, come by anytime." she tells him smiling.

They party for the rest of the day...
