The angel of Laughter

When I entered the house, everything seemed so quiet. It seemed like something was missing.....but what was it? Then, a blue earth pony came into view. A look of sorrow was on her face, and her rainbow mane was strangely dull.

" Wooden floor. I had to put it in because I'm not a pegasus anymore."

Not a pegasus anymore?? What the hay was this pony talking about?

" Come sit down. I know you are probably confused of why I said those words."

I used my horn to place a cushion where I was going to sit. The mare's face glistened in the reflection of the fire. I fumbled with my mane before saying,

" Excuse me, but I'm here to see miss Dash."

I put my most formal voice on. The mare laughed.

" Silly! I am Rainbow Dash!"

After a quick drink, I settled down to hear Rainbow's story. Her mane seemed to be brighter now, and her eyes were full of joy. I pointed this out, and Rainbow Dash smiled.

"Well I suppose you remind me of her, always pointing out the positive. Its about time you heard my story..."

Rainbow grumbled. She had been waiting at the biggest party of the year for a very special pony...The host! Pinkie said she'd be there, and everypony had arrived but her.

"Come on y'all. It looks like this hoedown has been called off."

AppleJack sighed. Twilight nodded, and she,Spike and AJ took off. Rarity did not want to leave a friend at a party, but she came up with the excuse that ' I need to finish some dresses'. Soon, Fluttershy did the same. The CMC eventually left, although it took some persuading to make Scootaloo leave her idol. One after one, ponies left.

"Blossomforth, come back! Cloudchaser, Snowflake, don't leave me hangin! Pipsqueak, Viynl, Octi, Rumble, Derpy,Doctor my man! Stay a bit longer! She'll arrive soon! Carrot Top, Colgate, Lyra and Bon Bon, I can't wait for her by myself!"

Shouted Rainbow Dash. After and hour, Pinkie came bursting in on a strange contraption. It had two wings made out of polystyrene, balloons tied to the top and a rubber ducky tied to the rim.

"What time do you call this!"

RD screamed. Pinkie apologized, but Rainbow didn't stop there.

"I've been waiting for you for an hour! Don't ever be late again!"

Pinkie Pie apologized again.

" I cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye that I'll never be late again."

Rainbow was cooled by this. She took off leaving Pinkie wondering how not to be late.

Back in the living room, Rainbow was crying. I comforted her, and asked her what was the matter.

"And that,"

She said

"was the last I ever saw of Pinkameana Dianne Pie."
