Normal Day......Right???

What would you do if your life changed in an instant? Would you embrace it? Would you try to fix it? What if it is a problem you can't fix? How would you deal with it then? What if you were up against Nightmare Moon? Would you trust a possibly brain-washed adviser? Would you try to kill your enemy? What would you do if you saw the people you loved and friends you grew up with doing something horrible? What if you had the chance to live how you used to if you just stopped trying to fight the system?? Would you still try to save your friends and family? Well? Would you?

Town: Ponyville, Equestria

Time: 3:30 P.M.

The school bell rang, signaling the end of another day. Patrick and Penelope Cake were the first people though the door. After waving to their best friends Rikky Mix and Matilda Shine, they raced past the playground and they headed towards home.

"C'mon! The faster we get home the faster we get to go hang out with Rikk and Tilda!!!" Patrick yelled to Penelope.

"I'm *huff* running as fast as *huff* I can!" said Penelope, "Not my fault *huff* I can't fly!!"

"Finnnnnnne Penni I'll slow down.."

"*huff* Thanks.... Pat.... Y'know what?"

"What??"

"*huff* We need to find Mom and Dad an anniversary present. How many bits do we have??"

"Roughly 80 bits. We'll worry about the present later."

"But the *huff* anniversary is only *huff* two weeks away!"

"I know!! Look, lets just get back home and we'll worry about it after we finish our chores."

Slowing there pace to a jog/glide then ran into the heart of there hometown, Ponyville. Rainbow was napping on a cloud, her rainbow hair blowing in the breeze. They stopped for Fluttershy as she and a line of ducks crossed the street. Twilight warned them to slow down lest they might fall. After avoiding Rarity's attempts to be models for her new teen clothing line, Penni and Pat ran up the steps of SugarCube Corner. Throwing down their backpacks, then greeted their mom, Caroline Cake.

"Hey Mom!" said Patrick, giving her a hug.

"Hi Mom." said Penelope, giving her a kiss.

"How are my Pound and Pumpkin Cakes?" said their mom.

"Good!" They replied, grabbing there aprons and walking in the kitchen

"Were's Dad?" asked Penni from the kitchen.

"Out delivering orders. He should be back soon. Make sure you do your chores!"

"Yes Mom!" they replied

"Finally." said Penelope, after they finished there chores, "Have you seen Matilda and Rikky?"

"Yeah, there in the front. They sai-" started Patrick

Sounds of a scuffle interrupted Patrick. The twins looked at the door and started walking towards it, but as they started forward a Lunar Guard burst through the door.

"Are you Penelope Anne Cake and Patrick Dylan Cake?" he questioned

"Y-y-yes sir." said Penelope

"By order of Queen Nightmare Moon, Caroline and Charles Cake have been arrested. You will be left here. Do not follow or we will be force to kill you. Do you understand?"

'Yes sir."

"I will repeat," he growled, leaning so close to Penelope she could smell the breath mint that he had in his mouth,"Do you understand children?"

"Sir,yes sir." said Penelope as loud as she could muster.

"Good Night." said the Guard as he walked off.

Penelope dropped down on the floor, crying.Untying and folding his apron,Patrick walked over toward the door.They had destroyed the whole shop, it would take months of work to fix all of this. Maybe he could get Patricia to help along with AppleJack. Looking around he heard two groans from under a broken table. Moving away the broken pieces he found twins, Matilda "Music" Shine and Rikky "Record" Mix.

"Rikky? Matilda? What happened to you?" asked Patrick.

"We tried to stop them, Pat. Honest..." Said Rikky.

"They were too strong. Also they cheated...." said Matilda.

"All the adults....."

"They've been taken away.."

"Everyone??" asked Patrick, in disbelief

"Everyone." confirmed Matilda.

"What are we going to do?" asked Rikky.

"I....I don't know...." said Patrick

Over a month has passed since all the Adults in ponyville disappeared. Rumor had it that the only people left in Equestria were children, Nightmare Moon, her guards and Princess Celestia’s adviser, Philomena. Since the arrest of their parents, Pat and Penni ran the bakery even though they ended up giving away most of the food because most children couldn't afford to buy it. One day after they had closed the shop, Pat and Penni sat in the back room with Matilda and Rikky.

“We need to find them.” said Pat.

“You heard the guard,” replied Penni, “We go after them and we get caught, we’ll get killed!”

“That's if we get caught.” said Rikky

“Yeah. I mean we might save them.” said Matilda

“But we don’t know very much about the castle..”

“We know a person who does though.” Said Pat.

“Spike??” said Penni, knocking on the door of the Golden Oaks Library.

“Spike open the door!” said Rikky

The door opened slightly and a boy with bright green hair, draconic eyes, and a purple and green outfit stepped out the door. Mumbling a small hello, he turned to go back into the house.

“Wait Spike!” said Matilda

“yes?” said Spike.

“We need your help.”

“Why?”

“We’re planning a jail break.” said Pat.
