After a failed confrontation with Discord, Twilight Sparkle makes a deal with him to preserve Equestria. To save the land, she abandons her special talent and is forever barred from using magic. Her only shot at living a normal life again is to find something else that makes her special, and realize her hidden dreams as the mask of magic is torn away.
Also, sorry about the lack of tags. I don't really know where I'm going with this yet, so I'm just going to try to hit the ground running, or should I say galloping.
