The Salamander of Equestria

They often say that people see their life flash before their eye's and people often hate what has happened and wish they could change it. The element's of harmony group were on their way to Ponyville along with the cutie mark crusader's along with their "friend" not really sure what to think of him though the cutie mark crusader's fully trusted him for saving them. The element's minus Pinkie were all cautious of his weapon....which he was still carrying with him.

"No"

"Please, Zin!"

What was going on was that Scootaloo was trying to get Zin to let her see his weapon with no progress. Everybody else was finding this funny.

"No"

"why not!?" Zin just looked at her and answered "One you wouldn't know how to wield this" Zin held his weapon up "Also I don't think your sister wouldn't appreciate it" She just pouted causing Zin to chuckle.

He looked at Twilight and said "I know you must have question's and I will answer them but can we first get to this town." Twilight wasn't happy about not getting the answer's now but nodded her head yes. The rest of the trip was quiet though the girl's minus the crusader's would keep throwing glance's at Zin. The group had finally arrived at the town. Zin looked around to see ponies' all different kind's and each one had a different fur with their own color and unique pattern. As they were all walking towards the library the ponies would throw curious glance's at Zin with a little bit of fear once they saw his weird weapon.

The group had arrived at the library and entered it and Zin heard a male voice. "Hey, Twilight did you find.... a small talking lizard thing asked. Zin looked at it and saw it was probably the same age as the cutie mark crusader's or aleast looked like it. He has light mulberry with a light spring budish gray underbelly scales and light lime green "ears. He had spikes on the top of his head that were a moderate harlequin. He was wearing a green sleeveless shirt with purple pants.

"What the heck is that thing?" "Spike! This is Zin"

Zin walked forward to Spike who was looking up at him. The two looked at each other for a moment.

"Cool mask and weapon dude" Zin eye smiled "Thank you" Spike extended his fist for a fist bump. Zin returned it.

"The name's Spike" "I'm Zin nice to meet you." The two put their hand's down.

"Ok miss Sparkle I promised to answer your question's but first let's find a place to sit,"

"Ok but you can just call me Twilight"

The group each found a place to sit but Zin sat on the floor and had put his weapon next to him. Twilight was siting in a chair with a paper and pen.

"Ok first question. What is your race called?" "Hmm well we called humans but a more scientific name would be Homo sapiens."

Twilight was writing down everything they were talking about.

"Who rules your world?" "Hmm that depends on what your village is and who is the kage." "Wait you have more then one leader called...kage and villages?" Zin nodded his head yes.

"Can you tell us what they are called."

"There's a lot of villages that I don't know but I do know the name of major one's. These countries are led by governmental leaders, known as the daimyō, who are in charge of ruling their individual nations. These countries are divided equally on an unknown continent to create balance in the shinobi world. They are the Land of Earth in the Northwest, the Land of Lightning in the Northeast, the Land of Water in the East, the Land of Wind in the Southwest, and the Land of Fire in the center of it all."

Zin took a moment to catch his breath and continued.

" These superpowers are the major players in the politics and trade between the shinobi nations. They are the most powerful of all nations and each has an extremely powerful shinobi village. The Land of Earth has Iwagakure, the Land of Lightning has Kumogakure, the Land of Water has Kirigakure, the Land of Wind has Sunagakure, and the Land of Fire has Konohagakure. These five villages are the only ones to have a Kage as the village head. My village is called Amegakure meaning Village Hidden by Rain. It is a small, yet highly industrialized hidden village located in an unnamed country and as its name suggests, it rains almost constantly due to a storm above the village. All the water seemingly ends in a large lake that surrounds the village."

Everyone in the room was shocked at what Zin just said and couldn't believe it.

"Wow. That's a lot but it must help that every village help each other though." Twilight and the other's noticed Zin was just quiet. "Zin?"

Zin was still quiet till he spoke "The villages are always at war with each other. Each one trying to conquer the other though my village stayed out of conflicts we still got dragged into them. Hatred was born. When one person was killed their son or daughter would avenge them by killing the one who killed their parent and if they couldn't they would kill their child or sibling." said Zin causing everyone in the room to become shocked. The cutie mark crusader's and Spike didn't know what kill or war meant. Fluttershy had tears in her eye's. Applejack, Rainbow, and Rarity grabbed their sister's and were holding them close to them. Pinkie puffy hair was deflated. Twilight was shocked as well but swallowed the lump in her throat and asked Zin a question.

"Did....did you kill people? Children?" ".....I have killed. The girl's gasped. "But I will nor will I ever kill children. I only killed when I have to and when it is the last option." The girl's looked and saw that he was telling the truth in his eye's. Applejack looked closer at him and said "He's telling the truth."

"Though my world has it's fault's it does have it's goodness. People who were on mission's would abandon it to save their comrade's. Also their were people who sought to bring peace to my world. Though it seems impossible, it was mine." Zin eye smiled.

The girl's had cheered up after hearing him tell all the good in his world.

"Ok so next question."

"Why do you wear that mask?"

"hmm well.....-the girl's leaned closer- to hide my good looks." said Zin causing them to face fault.

*chuckle's* "But seriously though it's my secret and I would perhaps tell you when I know you all more so for now please drop it.

Twilight frowned at his answer but asked the next question anyway.

"What's that strange weapon you have?" Zin held up his weapon "This thing is called a Kusarigama."

"Can you do magic?"  Hmm should I tell them about chakra or not Zin thought.

"No" "chuckles I am telling the truth."

"Ok what do you eat?" "I'm omnivore." Just looked at him. "It means I eat meat and plant's."

The girls just looked at him "Doesn't that bother you?" "Not really. There are many races that eat meat so it's ok but you not going to go around and eat random people are you?" Twilight looked at him as she asked the question. "No"

Everyone noticed that it was getting dark and the cutie mark crusader's were fast asleep.

"Well I better get ma sister home" said Applejack as she picked up Apple Bloom and put her on her shoulder "Goodnight everyone"

Everyone started to leave and said their goodbye's.

Zin was starting to get up to leave but the door shut with a purple aura around so Zin turned and saw Twilight horn ws glowing the same color.

"So that's magic hmm interesting" thought Zin

"You don't have to leave, you can sleep in the guest room." Zin started to say something "and no buts'

Zin sighed and nodded his head. Twilight picked up spike with her magic. The three made their way's up the stairs till Twilight showed Zin the guest room.

"This is where you will sleep, if you need anything else I'll be right down the hall" Zin nodded his head and went to walk in "Zin. I'm going to write a letter to the princess and I want to mention you if that's ok.

"Hmm sure"

Twilight smiled and walked down to her room. Zin walked into the room and saw that a bed was in the middle. On the walls were pictures of.....books. The wall color was green.

Zin walked and got into the bed and he set down his weapon next to him where it wouldn't stab him but was within distance where he could grab it in a quick second. Zin lay down

"Heh I like this world so far I wonder what is next" Zin thought as he dosed off.

In Twilight room was writing the letter she was going to send to Celestia.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Today me and my friend's went into the Everfree forest to find the cutie mark crusader's who had

snuck off into it. We searched them for hour's and had found them along with a strange creature that

walked around like us but don't have fur nor a cutie mark aleast that's what the cutie mark crusader's told us.

At first we thought it was holding them hostage and so Applejack and Rainbow attacked it. He

was able to take them both down without harming them. We also learned his name was Zin and found out that he saved

the cutie mark crusader's from timberwolf's. We brought him with us to the library and asked him question's

about what he was. His race is called human's and we learned in his world that there is war and sadness

but there is good. He also carries around a weapon called a Kusarigama. He wear's a mask but wouldn't tell us

why. He's also very polite and very humorous. I want you to meet him. I'm sure you would love him.

Twilight rolled the paper and put a seal on it. She walked over to Spike and shook him awake.

"What? Spike grumbly asked. "Spike I need you to send this to the princess." Spike grumbled but did so anyway.

"There now goodnight and he fell backward's asleep in his bed causing Twilight to giggle as she walked and got into her bed.

"I wonder what the princess will think was Twilight last thought as she dozed off.

                                            (At Canterlot)

Celestia and Luna were both looking at the moon and were having conversation with each other about how their day was going.

"And so the noble ran scared out of the night court. LOL.

Celestia just laughed "Luna you know you can't just scare them. (whispering aleast not all the time).

"But sister they are just so. they both heard pop and saw a scroll in front of them. Celestia grabbed it and opened it

As she read it her facial expression was changing.

"SIster what does Twilight letter say?" Celestia handed the letter to her and she read it as well.

"what are you going to do" Celestia thought about it then said "I send Twilight a letter tomorrow inviting her and friend's along with this Zin to see what his true intention's are." Celestia eye's became cold and Luna seen this look once and that was when they fought Sombra.

The two then looked up at the moon as it shined.
