The Salamander of Equestria

The badlands were nothing but desert and mountains. The land was practically a dead place that where no one would hear you.

"WHERE THE BUCK DO WE GO!?

or not.....

The group had arrived where they were going but didn't know where to go.

"Rainbow you need to relax." Twilight was trying to calm her down.

"Relax? How can I relax!? My sister and her friend's are dying and we don't know where the stupid plant is. I understand what you are trying to do Twilight but it's just..." Twilight walked over and put her hand on her shoulder.

Zecora watched the group for a little but turned and looked at Zin who stood a few feet from them looking forward.

"We need to find this plant but no one knows where it is. Hmm.  A plant that is silver in the moonlight but turns to gold in sunlight."

He felt a hand on his shoulder which caused him to look at Zecora.

"Do you have a idea to where we may find what we seek?"

"I'm not sure but I think the description of the flower might be a clue. It talks about the flower changing. So I think it might be in a cave but that let's the sun and moon shine on it."

"But there is something bothering you isn't there?" Zin didn't say anything but looked forward.

"You worry that we won't be able to save Applebloom and her friend's."

".....It's all my fault. I should of told you all about the poison but instead I let my paranoia stay with me."

"Mistakes are the portals of discovery. They are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them. You admitted them so there is nothing to forgive."

Zin looked at her and nodded his head and turned forward. The others walked up behind them after finally being able to calm down Rainbow.

"So any idea where we going?"

"Yes in matter fact I do." Zin answered. "But finding them is going to be a problem."

"Them?"

Zin began to walk forward and answered them. "The changelings."

"Are you crazy?"

"My guess is that they live here even before the invasion. How else would they be able to amass such a large force in a short time. Yes they needed to prepare but to be able to have that much means that they must be nearby so I believe it's here in these land's."

The group were silent. "ohh does that mean we can get them to have parties and not have to have them come so far away."

".......yes?" Pinkie smiled.

"Ok we solved that but how are we going to find them. Also what makes you think they will help us? I'm sure Chrysalis isn't happy with what happened."

"Perhaps but I will try to talk to her."

"Ok but how will you find her?" Twilight asked causing Zin to eye smile.

"This is their land so they probably have heard of trespassers in their land."  Zin replied with a smirk.

"How are you so sure?"

"Because we are surrounded right now." As soon as Zin said that changeling's flew over the rocks they were hiding from to circle around the group.

Twilight along with the element's got into battle stances as did Zecora who looked to see Zin just standing there.

"Why is he just standing there?" She thought.

The changeling's looked exactly the way they were described but their armor was leather that was red with black outlines. It covered their whole body beside their neck and up.

"So these are changeling's." Zin spoke aloud.

The changeling's stood their with their weapons hissing at the group.

"Ok everyone we need to...Zin what are you doing?!" Twilight yelled at Zin who walked forward towards the changeling's who all started to point their weapon's at him.

Zin stopped right in front of them. The one in front of him swung it's sword at him only for Zin to catch it with his right hand.

The changeling's were shocked as were the girl's.

"I didn't come here to fight. I'm here for a request to meet your queen." Zin said as he let go of the weapon causing the changeling who was pulling back on it to fall on his back.

The changeling's just stood their hissing at the group.

*sighs* "I know you all can speak but are trying to make it look like you aren't."

They just stood there till they moved apart to show a changeling much bigger then the others walk forward until he was in front of Zin.

"Why do you want to see her majesty?"

"We seek her aid."

"Why couldn't you precious element's of *harmony* help you?" The changeling said with complete hatred.

"Plus...what are you?"

Zin stood there and replied "I am a human. I come from a different world." Zin said causing the changeling's to laugh.

"Believe me or not but I came here for a purpose." Zin quickly pulled his weapon out causing changeling's to reach for their weapon's but only for Zin to throw his weapon at the big changeling feet causing them to become confused.

"Zin what the buck are you doing?!" Rainbow shouted.

Zin thrust his hand's forward. "I am wiling to be a captive to meet your queen even blind fold me."

The big changeling stood there looking at the human. "He threw his weapon down even though he could of killed me.....plus my soldiers."

"Bring bind's and a fold."

"Sir?"

"We will take you all to her majesty. But you all must surrender your weapon's."

The group grumbled but did s anyway. Rarity and Twilight had ring's put around their horn's to keep their magic suppressed.

Zecora was looking at Zin who looked completely calm.

Zin hand's were bound and as he was about to be blind folded he spoke. "Thank you...

The big changeling answered "Tadakastu." As he put the blind fold over Zin eye's as he saw no more.
