She took her daily sip of coffee and after a sip or two, she began to be her jumpy self again. Pinkie was all alone in the house because the Cakes had gone on a vacation to the Crystal Kingdom. Only Pinkie and Gummy were home. Then Pinkie got a little antsy and she told Gummy, “Gummy can you take care of Sugar Cube Corner while I’m gone?” Gummy gave the cross eyed stare and blinked slowly. “Thanks Gummy! Remember not to eat the sweets!” And just like that, Pinkie left the shop to see her friends. ______________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy was in her cottage, sitting on her couch, feeling the warmth of her fireplace. Fluttershy told Angel Bunny, ”It’s cold outside isn't’t it? And It looks as if it might start to rain.” Angel nodded and hopped off the couch and pointed to his gurgling stomach. “Oh, poor Angel! You’re hungry aren't you?” Angel nodded and pointed at the door. A loud knock came from the door and angels hopped up to the peephole and slammed it shut. ”Angel how rude! I… I… don’t even know who it is…” Fluttershy shook as she reached to open the door. Angel angrily tapped his foot as Fluttershy hesitated to open the door. The door swung open with a strong kick and Fluttershy cowered under the couch. “Who’s the.. there?”, asked Fluttershy weakly. To make things more ominous, the fire went out due to the howling wind, making the cottage pitch black. The rain poured down, roaring along with the wind, and a clap of thunder/lightning revealed a silhouette, dark and white eyed. Fluttershy hid deeper under the couch and repeated, “Who’s...the...there?” “Uh, Flutters ya home?”,asked a familiar voice. Fluttershy’s head popped out from under the couch and asked unsurely, “Rainbow Dash? Is it really you?” “Is it really my Marefriend?”, Fluttershy thought. ______________________________________________________________________________ Pinkie hopped around happy as a filly would, even in the weather situation. She halted in her tracks and saw Rainbow Dash’s house right above her. Pinkie gritted her teeth and muttered under her breath, “Rainbow isn't home huh? So she must be at Fluttershy’s house huh?!” She narrowed her eyes as sped off to Fluttershy’s cottage. “I gotta tell Fluttershy!”, she scram against the wind,rain,and thunder/lightning. “RAINBOW IS SOO DEAD!”, she thought. Pinkie Pie was the only one other than Flutters and Dashie to know about their relationship. And she also had the suspicion of Dashie breaking them apart. Just thinking of Fluttershy’s hurt feelings made her want to explode of rage and anger,or give Rainbow Dash a whooping as Surprise*. ______________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy insisted her Marefriend to sit by her on the couch, by the freshly made fire. Rainbow Dash took the offer and sat down but farther than usual. “I… I gotta tell you something Flutter-” Flutter’s eyes closed and she slowly began to scoot her way to Rainbow, lips almost reaching hers and said, “You can tell me ANYTHING…” Rainbow’s eyes showed horror and she pushed Fluttershy away and scram, “I DON’T THINK THIS IS GOING TO-” The door burst open once again, with another clap of thunder/lightning. Pinkie stomped in, hair soaking wet and teeth grinding against each other. “NO RAINBOW! DON’T EVEN DARE!”,Pinkie scram. Rainbow Dash backed away sheepishly, flew outside and locked the door in the process. As well as sending the blinds closed. Fluttershy was confused. “Pinkie, what’s going on here?” Pinkie’s eyes shut and she said, “You are single no more…” She pressed her lips against Fluttershy’s with silence following after. Even the storm allowed this moment of scilence bloom. Fluttershy was surprised at this, and seconds later enjoysed this. Rainbow Dash felt worse lying to herself. Thunder struck within her, emotions stirred. She looked below and saw Apple property. “Maybe Applejack will cheer me up!”, she thought. She smiled, feeling a little better and sonic rainboomed towards Applejack’s farm. ______________________________________________________________________________ Applejack was busy applebucking in the moonlight. Applejack was tired, but she told herself, “Ya nearly thar’ Applejack.” She froze with her weary eyes halfway shut, until a voice hollered, “Watch out AppleJack!” “Rainbow Dash?” “Sugarcube where are ya?”,asked Applejack looking through all possible directions she could be. “APPLEJACK! LOOK OUT!”, she scram again. Right before Applejack’s very own eyes, a Sonic Rainboom exploded in front of her, and Rainbow Dash was in the middle of it. “Oh Rainbow! Can ya be more careful next time?” Her mane had been blown out of it’s neat ponytail and was now all over the place, bearing a messy resemblance to Rainbow’s mane. The two stood up from the floor and dusted themselves off. “Sorry Applejack.Can we talk inside?”, Rainbow asked sheepishly. “Sure thing sugarcube. Want some cider and apples?”, Applejack said happily. “Sure!”, Rainbow said. “Race you there!” ______________________________________________________________________________ Rainbow Dash looked around the Apple kitchen, and awaited Applejack to follow. Applejack came in and looked through the kitchen’s drawers. “Hey sugarcube! Here’s an apple for to go, and wait upstairs in mah’ room okay?” Rainbow nodded and took gentle steps upstairs. By the time Rainbow was gone, Applejack had found some mugs of cider and went up to join her. Applejack found her sitting on her bed waiting patiently. “So, what’s the problem sugarcube?”, Applejack asked concerned as she sat by her. “Well, I was ‘dating’ Fluttershy and-” “Sugarcube! How come you didn’t tell me?” “Can I please finish?”, Rainbow asked impatiently. Applejack blushed and put a hoof behind her head. “Sorry.Go on sugarcube.” “-and I didn’t think it would work out so I ‘broke’ up with her but right before I could tell her-” Applejack nodded her head, patiently waiting for Dash to continue. “-Pinkie swooped in and got mad then when she finished yelling at me, I flew off-” Applejack scooted closer to Rainbow Dash, nudged her and said, “It’s okay as long as i have you.” Rainbow Dash blushed and looked at Applejack’s guilty expression. “Ah’ can’t take this no more!”, Applejack scram. she picked up Rainbow and closeed her eyes and pressed her lips to Rainbow’s. Rainbow Dash was surprised, but she went with it. “Fluttershy wasn’t my type, but Applejack! You there?”,Twilight said nervously. Silence was the only response.Twilight knocked and to her surprise, the door was already opened. She walked in and stepped on something. The whole kitchen floor was littered with apple seeds and cyan feathers. “Applejack would never make a mess like this! She also doesn't have feathers!” She looked closer at the feathers and remembered: Rainbow Dash! She followed the messy trail until she got to Applejack’s room. And what sounded behind the door was slurping noises. She once again pushed the door and saw the unthinkable, Applejack smooching Rainbow Dash. Twilight felt sick. Applejack peered at the the open door and saw Twilight. “It’s not what it seems! Okay maybe it is...But we can explain!” But it was too late, Twilight had already teleported away. ______________________________________________________________________________ Rarity was galloping away from Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy who galloped after her chanting, “Join us!” Never! This is wrong! Just wrong!”, Rarity scram. It may have been cute at first, but after a while it just got creepy. Rarity was heading into town, back to her boutique. Where she would be safe from them. She looked behind and saw them far in the distance, still trying to catch up. She sighed and once she looked back to her boutique, she saw Pinkie in front of her. Rarity scram in horror and prepared to be mobbed to death. ______________________________________________________________________________ Twilight galloped away from the barn and began to make her way to Rarity’s boutique. “I hope they didn’t get to her.”,she thought. She had finally reached the boutique and knocked on her door three times. A small slot opened and a voice was heard from the inside. “Twilight darling is that you?” “Yes, Rarity! Open the door! I’m being followed!” Rarity hesitated to open the door, but finally opened it. Rarity pulled Twilight in and locked the door behind her. Twilight took gasps of air and muttered, “That’s what I get for trying to run away from two of Equestria’s fastest ponies.” Twilight then cried out, “Applejack and...and Rainbow!” “Them too? Pinkie and Flutter!” Twilight flinched then cried out, “Have our friends gone insane?!” Rarity scolded,” Well they still are our friends…” BAM! BAM! went the doo. Twilight and Rarity scram in horror. The voices behind chanted, “Come on, join us! We know your crush!” Another was,”We can explain!” “It...it won’t hurt to try…” “Open Up!” Rarity found herself hugging Twilight and Twilight hugging Rarity,due to fear making the best of them. Rarity blushed. Twilight blushed. Finally Rarity spoke up, “They are right! Either way we will be forced to become a couple.Like...them” She pointed a hoof grimly to the door. Twilight gulped and sighed, “You do make a point…” ______________________________________________________________________________ Rarity sighed. Twilight sighed. The two began to embrace each other passionately and both closed their eyes and neared closer and closer to each other. The door burst open, and revealed the rest of the crew eagerly watching their friends kiss. The two were done, and opened their eyes wide. “We did it!
