Everyone deserves a friend

I look behind me to see the guards affect by the knuckle shockwave starting to get back up as they all have huge varying dents in their armor and I smile as they get back up on there feet after seeing a hole in the Princesses wing. "This is the best you got? A pack of wild dogs gave me a better run for my money!" I smile as they all start to get agitated but Princess Celestia walks in front of me flaying her wings.

"My royal and loyal guards drop all hostiles and let this man go, you will not attack him and you will not talk to him as he is the ambassador for the human race!" Most drop their weapon while a strewn glance form their Princess and a hungry glance form Alex making the rest yield. "He is my honored guest even though he attacked It must of been a misunderstanding on a cultural level right Alex?"

I nod and then I smile, "Dare trying to pick me up in it self was considered a insult to my ability to survive, I usually would of killed you were you stood but I allowed you to live...Be thankful."

"Why did you tell them that lie." I can sense fear in her voice, child like fear, the type of fear that is easy to play with.

"As fun as it would be to kill then eat them I never played politics so I thought I give it a try."

"Y-you were going to eat my guards?" Her pupils are extremely dilated as I lick my lips.

"Their body, their soul, and their minds." I start to laugh as I turn to the tense group of guards, "I need a snack and it must be living, who among you will lay down your live in trade for your Princesses? I promise it wont hurt." It hurt a lot!

Form the looks of the one that steps forward is that he is a recruit, his eyes are closed and I see wings on his side, I run at him and grip him by the throat and hold him in the air. I feel something kick me in the side and its a small little brat, "Let go of my brother! You big meanie let him go!"

"This was your brother huh? Where I come form the big brother protects the little sister not the other way around. You know what kid I'll make you a deal."

The little kid starts to pout, "What is it?"

"You promise to protect him and I'll let him go."

"Ok i promise"

I drop the guard by his sister and smiles at them then I look at the Princess and she has a look of amazement. "He has a heart. Maybe the legends were wrong."

I walk outside and slam my fist through the wall. "I miss you Dana, I hope the doc found a way to make you come around, I'm sorry that your brother isn't there, he never was . I'm not sure if I can keep my humanity without you Dana." I slam my fist against the wall again, "Monsters don't cry but sometimes I wish I could, it would make me more human then BLACKWATCH wouldn't hunt me like a dog."

"The great human that pinned my sister to a wall misses his sister? I wonder why you cant cry, no way to express your emotions expect to bottle it up and wait for  to explode. Everypony has a family so is that why you didn't kill that stallion in front of the foal? It was noble of a human to do that."

I turn around and look at who is talking to me to see a small alicorn, "Form the moment I was born I was hunted down as a monster, so that's what I turned into, I was hunted for being a killer so that's what I became. There was one thing that kept me form losing what we call my humanity, the equivalent of a soul was the love my sister. Sounds so cliche but it is true, What do you know of sisters?" I sit against the wall and look in the dark alicorns eyes.

"A thousand years ago I-I tired killing my sister, I was never admired like the day, my night was slept away by all my subjects. I bottled it up but it slowly but surly turned to hatred for my sister and her beautiful day. One day I refused to lower the moon and keep the night forever.  I never thought about my subject as they would freeze and the crops would not grow. I became a monster, a perversion of my former self and turned to Nightmare Moon so my sister did the only thing she could do and sent me to the moon and sealed me there but I escaped boiling with even more hatred and six mares did what Tia could never do and cleansed me form my hatred and restored me to my former state but I was still a outcast. Ponies only feared me till those same mares helped change me and learn kindness and compassion. I love the night as I am the Princess of the night but little love it like I do."

"I love the night, its the time I saw Dana with a smile on her face and not in front of computer screen of searching for videos of me killing people as they stood in my way, I never told her I ate people, I never told her the countless I've killed. I did my job as her big brother and protected her form the truth as best as I could, I did well at times keeping up the lies." I get up and sighs. "The night helped me to kill, It helped me to think about what I done and over all the night aspects monsters for what they are. In all ways your night is better then your sisters day. If you are a princess can you bring Pinkie Pie and Twilight to Canterlot?"

"What business do you have with the Elements?"

"Pinkie calls me her friend so it is only nice I let Pinkie come here to see me."

"As a replacement for Dana?"

"Yea I guess so."

"I'll send them a letter to let them know."

"I only talked really to Dana but It was nice talking to you, whats your name?"

"Luna, my name is Luna Alex Mercer."
