Chapter 10
"What in tartarus is that?" The diamond dog whispered, watching the demonic baboon consume an elephant, "There's no way we can take that thing on."
"No. No it's not..." The old bull mumbled, pocketing the scrying orb. He turns to the invisible cow, "Beth... call headquarters to send a platoon in. We're gonna need the top five to handle this thing."
He turns his attention back to the fiery baboon, a volcanic mound spouts from it's back, smoke spewed from the pipe like appendage. Zombies stand around the beast, bringing it fresh meat to satiate it's hunger.
The old bull spots a speck flying towards the demon, "what the?" He retrieves the scrying orb, it's magic focusing on the tiny speck, "What in tartarus is that boy up to?"
He watches as the butter yellow pegasus fly towards the spewing beast of ash and smoke.
Butterscotch floats before the mighty demon. Hoards of flesh rotting slaves turn their gaze towards the blackened sky.
The demon turns it's attention towards the pegasus, it's serpent like eyes focusing on the stallion.
The demon smiles, blood dripping from its maw. It launches forward, jaws wide ready to snap down on the pony.
Butterscotch draws his sword back, his aura covering the blue blade. He tosses the crimson orb in front of him. The demon closing it's jaws on the pony, the stallion's world slowly growing dark.
Time slows down for the stallion, the sharpened fangs drawing nearer. The orb reaches it's point of descent and the blade shoots forward, stabbing into the sphere. Fire explodes in front of the pony, he wills the magic coursing over the blade.
A hurricane of fire forms in front of the stallion, burning a hole through the demonic creatures head.
The Minotaur watches the firestorm of carnage. The demon's head explodes, as a worm of fire snakes towards the heavens.
He stands there watching the blackened sky, being torn apart by the ever rising pillar of fire.
"What is he?" The mare whispers, watching the beast catch fire.
"Beth... cancel that order to headquarters," Gregor said, turning towards the warriors, "Well... what are you waiting for?!"
Butterscotch fades from existence, only to float above the downed demon. He watches as flames consume the beast, the hellfire turning the demon to ash.
"That's done," he mumbles, scanning his surroundings. The flesh puppets fall to the ground, and the enchanted flames slowly clearing the sky.
"I better go see if that zebra's okay," he said aloud, turning towards the direction of his companions, "Looks like Angel's spell still has some kick to it."
He rubs his sword arm, sore and swelling from the excursion of mana.
Present:
"A potion you seek," Zecora smiles, from the stallion's ever present bulge, "but a price you must meet."
"Enough of the rhyming Zecora," Butterscotch whispered, squeezing her exposed chest, "you know it only aggravates me."
"But is that not part of your proposal," the zebra whispers, slowly freeing his member from it's cloth prison, "That I satiate your arousal and in turn you become mine."
Butterscotch chuckles, "Aw... and here I thought I'd tell you about the new addition."
She stops and stares into his teal eyes, "You mean..."
The stallion pulls the mare into a kiss, he squeezes her jiggly rump. Her arms wrap around his frame, as her teats dig into his chest.
Breaking the embrace, Butterscotch stares into her blue eyes, "You remember Gilda?"
She nods as the stallion continues, "She's agreed to join... and you know what that means." He brings a hand to her crotch, his finger sliding over her moist slit.
Zecora licks her lips, pushing the stallion away, "Let me get ready... then we'll play."
The stallion smiles watching the mare gather her things. Watching her tail swish in anticipation, parting just enough for a glimpse of her moist slit.
A knock at the door echoed through the tiny hut, ending the stallion's thoughts and the Zebra's packing.
Butterscotch turns to the zebra then to the door, "I'll get it." He whispers, grabbing a butter knife from the table.
He slowly opens the door, and he nearly falls over seeing the young mare before him.
"Applebloom," he gasped, eyeing the filly and throwing the to some corner of the house. His surprise, turns to a stern glare, "What are doing out here young lady... don't you know how dangerous this forest is?!"
The filly cowers from the stallion's glare, and his angered voice. She looks to the ground her ears splayed back, "S-sorry mista Scotch... it's just that sister and... wait ah minute."
She stares into his eyes, "Just what are ya doing here?"
"Don't change the subject Bloom," Butterscotch stepped forward, looking around the darkened woods, "Come inside before something else does."
He lets the filly in, quickly closing the door. Zecora quickly covers herself joining the two in the living room.
"Dear... who is this filly," She asked, drawing a chair for the red maned pony.
"This is Applebloom... Applejack's sister," the stallion said, sitting across the filly, as the zebra joins him. Staring at the young mare, "So... you going to tell me why your here?"
The yellow mare looks down twiddling her thumbs, "Mah sis.... and her friends kinda... are cursed."
She sheepishly looks up, "C-can yah help me."
"Cursed?" Butterscotch said, raising an eyebrow. Turning to the zebra, "Let me guess... poison joke."
Zecora nods, turning to the filly, "I warned your sister about the flowers... sadly now they suffer."
Butterscotch sighs, he nuzzles the zebra planting a kiss on her cheek, "It's alright dear... can you whip up a cure for them."
"That I can," she said, returning a kiss, "but the ingredients I need to attain."
Applebloom watches the affectionate interaction, the zebra grabbing a pen and paper to write down the needed ingredients.
"Hmm... this doesn't seem much," Butterscotch turns to the mare, "I'll be back soon... just have the pot ready when I get back."
He kisses the mare, standing up he turns his attention to the filly, "Stay here till I get back."
As the door closes, the young filly turns to the mare, "So ah... how do yah know mister Scotch?"
Zecora smiles, as she retrieved ingredients and added it to the pot, "It was just a few years ago..."
Butterscotch stares down the wooden wolves, their rotten oaken tales knocking against their legs. The stallion walks forward, the wolves cower from his approach.
Bending down, he picks up the herb, adding it to the sack, "Last one... I hope Zecora can finish on her end."
Turning around he leaves the wolves to cower from their near death experience.
The stallion arrives to a broken door and screaming mares. He moves into action, running into the room.
"What are you doing?" He asked, looking at the odd assortment of mare's ready to go hoof and hoof with a zebra, he turns his gaze to the spilled potion, "Is that the cure for Poison Joke?"
He receives a nod from Zecora and the filly, rubbing the the bridge of his nose , he sighs, "Can you make another batch?"
Zecora shakes her head, "No... not without ingredients from Ponyville."
'Dammit... sorry Gilda'He shook his head in frustration, turning to the mare's, "Alright... everyone fall in line and we'll head to town."
He makes his way outside pausing to stare at the frozen mares, "Well do you want to be cured or not?"
They each look at one another, slowly following the stallion.
Applebloom and Zecora follow along the butter yellow stallion, while the others stayed a good distance from the group.
"So mister Scotch," Applebloom began, holding onto his hand, "How did you woo miss Zecora?"
Butterscotch pauses for a secound, slowly turning his head to the giggling zebra, "What did you tell her?"
"Oh nothing," Zecora smirked, grabbing onto his arm, "Just the about the night on the plane and how you saved me."
She kisses him on the cheek, Butterscotch blushes from the sudden action, "I hope that's all you told her." He whispered, so not to alert the filly.
Zecora giggles, whispering into his ear, "I only told her about the slavers and sleeping under the stars... not about the pride of manticores." She squeezes his rump in full view of the mares, but not the filly.
The stallion shakes his head, and turns to the wide-eyed filly, "if you really want to know?" His question was greeted by a rapid nod from the young grinning mare, "Fine... Well it was sometime ago when I went to Zebrica for... business..."
"Wow," Appleboom gasped, skipping ahead of the group. She turns with her arms outstretch and a wide smile on her muzzle, "So after ya rescued Miss Zecora... ya took her home and challenged her tribe for her!"
Butterscotch nods, sheepisly avoiding the gazes of the mares behind him. They enter the town, and when ponies spotted them. They quickly ran and hide, screaming, "it's a curse!"
Reaching a shop, Twilight moves ahead, knocking on the door.
"Daisy," She said to the mare behind the door, "we need to talk."
Entering the local spa, Zecora uses the kitchen to whip up the potion for the five infected ponies. The young filly, sits across the stallion, while the others gather around eavesdropping on their conversation.
"So wah was it like?" Applebloom asked, taking a sip from her apple soda, "to get married under the falls."
Butterscotch mulls it over, a smile forming on his muzzle, "It was... amazing." He closes his eyes remembering the day, "From the full moon lighting the pool... to the the shooting stars filling the sky. It was magical to the least."
"Wow," Applebloom gushed from her seat. She pauses when a thought came to her head, "But if yah two are married... how come ah never knew about it?"
The stallion opens an eye, staring into her orange eyes, "Really... I thought Mac would have told you?"
"Wait ah minute!" The doll sized Applejack cut in, with her sister's help she stands on the table to stare at the stallion, "mah brother knew yah were married!"
Butterscotch blinks and nodded at the mare's statement, "Yup... and I think granny knew too."
"Even Granny!" Applejack shouted, but the stallion had to lean in to hear the mare.
"Well... yeah," Butterscotch said, looking down at the mare, "I mean... they did met Zecora when I brought her home with me."
"Ah see..." Applejack, slowly turned, "Ah needs to lay down for now... Applebloom can yah help me to the couch."
"I got you AJ," Rainbow said, letting the mare jump on her hand. Taking the mare to the couch, Butterscotch turns to the filly.
"So... is there anything else?" He asked, to the pondering filly.
"If you and Mrs. Zecora are married... how come she don't live with you?" She asked, staring into his teal eyes.
"Oh... that's simple," The stallion began, turning his gaze towards the kitchen.
A Few Years Ago:
"Then that was it," The old bull said to the glowing orb, "He took on the fiend on his own. It wasn't something we could take on without a platoon backing us up." He takes a sip from his glass, the alcohol burning his throat, turning his gaze back to the orb, "Mistress... I await your orders on what to do with him."
The old bull's hand glows a fiery orange, the orb fades and the bull continues to drink his brew.
A set of glowing red eyes watch the Minotaur. They slowly recede into the darkness, and with it the bull was left in peace.
