Princess Butterscotch

Chapter 4

The soft snores of his partner did nothing for the predicament at hand. Her talons gently raked over his bare chest as her light brown chest rose and fell. Butterscotch grabs hold of the blanket, wiping her tear stained eyeshadow.

The smell of lust and shame perforated the room, all brining a slight smile to weary pegasus. Stains covered the his nether regions all absorbed by the white sheets. The griffins tail swishes under the sheets tickling his crotch.

"Still can't believe this happened," Butterscotch whispered, shutting his eyes.

"Well believe it asshole!" Angel shouted at the stallion, but was only a squeak to others. "You had her screaming most of the night!"

The bunny shuffled in his basket bed, as Butterscotch mumbled, "Your one to talk...you just rutted two Bunnies."

Angel looks between the two sleeping bunnies cuddled next to him, he mumbles, "they were in heat..."

"And so is she," Butterscotch chuckled, taking a whiff, "still is."

"Yeah whatever," Angel grumbled, squeezing between the two rodents, "Night!"

"Night," Butterscotch responded, loud enough not to disturb the sleeping griffin.

A few days ago:

"Come on little guys," Butterscotch said, guiding the hatchlings and their mother across town, "just a few more blocks and we'll be out...omph!"

Butterscotch turns around facing a black wall.

"Hey!" The wall screamed, Butterscotch looks up and was confronted with a glaring griffin. Her purple eyeshadow accenting her yellow eyes. "Watch where your going!"

"Bu-but," Butterscotch began, but her roar cuts him off. He lowers his stance ready to take on the griffin, to the bystanders he looked like was cowering and that didn't sit well with a certain pink pony. The griffin turns around, stomping her padded feet down the street.

Butterscotch turns around and comforts the scared ducklings and mother. "It's okay...omph."

Pink arms wrapped around the stallion, "There. there, Butters."

The mass of soft pink squeezed the poor stallion, "Don't worry Aunt Pinkie knows what to do."

Then as quickly as she arrived, the pink mass disappeared. Butterscotch looks around confused on what just happened.

"Um...Mr Butterscotch," Misses duck said, while trying to comforts the chicks, "can we keep going?"

"Ah...sure," Butterscotch continues to look around at the staring ponies, "yeah, lets get out of here."

He continued to the lead the little group, keeping count of the little hatchlings.

"Honestly angel," Butterscotch said, while brushing the little bunnies tale, "I don't know if I should go."

"What do mean," Angel moaned as the brush went over his velvety back, "it said that there's going to be a big surprise."

"Still," Butterscotch mumbles, "it's a welcome party...and I'm suppose to get a surprise."

"Mhmm," Angel started to fall asleep under the tentative care of his owner. This brings a smile to the stallion's muzzle.

Placing the sleeping bunny into his basket, the stallion began to prepare for the upcoming party. He dons one of his iconic sweaters and blue pants, the comforting texture hugging his hind legs. Checking himself once more, he heads down the stairs.

"Let's see," he mumbles, looking around the cottage, "I'll just set up some feed before I go and...huh?"

He spots a mass of animals running towards the cottage and an odd shape diving from the sky. The figure landing behind the group as a scream rang out.

Butterscotch spots the griffin clutching a squirrel in her talons, the stallions rushes out the back door yelling, "Let that squirrel go!"

The griffin ignores the pony, flapping into the air to eat her meal in peace. Butterscotch rockets into the air after the fleeting predator.

She made it only a few feet into the air, before the pegasus tackles the griffin, knocking her to the ground.

"Hey!" The griffin screamed, loosening her grip on the the rodent, "what in tartarus are you doing!"

"Ah...Not letting you eat one of my friends!" Butterscotch shot back, his hands wrapping around her mid section.

She flaps her large wings bringing the two into the air. Her yellow talons pushing the pony off her, yelling, "Let go freak!"

Butterscotch holds on not knowing the squirrel made it to safety. She continues to push with both arms forcing the stallion down, his hands finding purchase on her shorts.

The shorts loosen, causing the stallion to fall to the ground, as the griffin screamed, "My pants!"

Butterscotch lands on the ground, staring at the griffin. Her legs spread giving him full view of her uncovered crotch. She lands covering her nether region with her talon like hand, stomping towards the downed stallion.

"Give me back my pants!" She yelled, slowly making her way as not to further expose herself.

Butterscotch stands, glaring at the incoming griffin, shouting, "What's your problem!"

"My problem! My Problem!" Her feathers ruffled looking down at the stallion, "I was trying to get some food and you come out and tackle me!"

"Food!" Butterscotch puffed his chest and spread his, a sign of dominance in the griffin culture, "these animals are Pets! Not Food!"

"Says who!" She shot back but was a bit taken aback at the ponies stand.

"Says the Animal Warden!" he jabs a thumb to his chest, the griffin's shorts following along. A light pink cloth fell from the denim bundle.

The griffin spots this and quickly snatches the undergarment before it fell on the ground. Butterscotch blushes, noticing her shorts in hand, he looks away handing it to her.

She quickly snatches it, and turns around to put on her lost clothing.

As she buttons her shorts Butterscotch notices blood flowing from her arm, "Your bleeding."

"Huh," she looks at the pony following his gaze to her cut arm, "Tch! It's just a scratch...nothing for you to worry about."

Her harsh tone did nothing to sway the stallion, he grabs hold of the griffin, "Come on...I have some bandages."

"I told you..." one quick look into his eyes cut off any rebuttal the griffin was going to make. Even if she could, his iron like grip prevented her from breaking free, and so she follows wary of the pony.

"So Giilda...it's Giilda right?" Butterscotch asked, while he applied ointment to the open wound.

"Gilda," she gritted her beak, against the sting of the medicine.

"Gilda. Gilda...are you by chance from Shallow Roost," Butterscotch asked, dumping the blooded cotton balls into the trash bin.

"My parents where," She responded, but raises her eyebrow asking, "how would know that?"

"Met a few back in the day," Butterscotch responded, wrapping her arm with a bandage, "odd folks...but very interesting."

"Tch. Odd's understating it," Gilda said, watching the pony tentatively wrapping her arm.

"Yes...but they knew how to open up compared to other griffins." Butterscotch checked the bandages, "not to tight?"

She moves her arms around taking a feel for the stallion's work, "this is...actually. I can't even tell if its on."

"I do my best," Butterscotch smiled, putting up the med kit, "So...care to tell me why your starving yourself?"

The griffin flinches avoiding eye contact with the pony, "I-I don't know what your talking about."

"Don't even try that with me," Butterscotch said, moving some pans to the stove, "I've treated enough animals to know when they haven't eaten...and by the looks of it."

He laid ingredients on the counter taking a quick look at the griffin, "your way below the standard for a griffin your age."

The knife comes down slicing the ingredients, Gilda looks on as the pony prepaired a meal. The pan sizzles and the aroma hits her nostrils, drool flowing down her beak.

Butterscotch lays the stir fry on a plate, placing the meal in front of his guest.

"Dig in," he said turning to wash the dishes, but notices the griffins lack of enthusiasm, "that was an order."

His commanding tone ended any rebuttal the griffin was going to spout. She grabs her utensils and slowly takes a tentative bite of food. Her eyes widen as she dug into the meal.

Butterscotch holds back a smile, the sounds of water and clanking pans drowning out the munching of his guest.

She lets out a loud burp adding, "That was delicious."

"Glad to know," Butterscotch sat down across the griffin, handing her a glass of water.

"Thanks," She said, grabbing the glass and downing the cup. She looks to her benefactor rubbing the back of her head, "look...ah...I'm sorry about the whole...roaring at you earlier...and trying to eat your pet."

"it's fine," Butterscotch waved off, "Can't really fault you for trying to feed yourself."

He went silent staring into the table, Gilda for her part, tried to avoid staring at the sadden pony.

"So...how was it," Butterscotch asked, returning his gaze back to the griffin.

"It was...it was actually amazing," Gilda gushed, "I mean...it tasted like...meat."

Her eyes shrank staring at her plate and the random animals frolicking about. The stallion laughs, "relax...it's tofu."

"Tofu?" The griffin looked questionably at the pony, "what's that?"

"It's a meat substitute," Butterscotch told the ever perplexed half bird, "I learned it from a diamond dog a few years back."

"And why would you know that," her voice rang out in shock.

"There's plenty of carnivores on my land," Butterscotch said, pointing towards a bobcat, "it fills them up without me having to butcher some animals."

"That makes sense...I think," Gilda said drawing circles on the oaken table.

Butterscotch continues to smile turning his gaze towards the clock, "I better head off soon."

"Why?"

"Got a party to go to...in fact," he turns his gaze towards Gilda, "so do you."

She looks at him confused, which was later quenched by the invitation laid on the table.

"Oh yeah...that party thing that pink pony set up," Gilda said mulling it over, looking at the standing pony.

"Come on," Butterscotch grabs the plate and placing it in the sink, "the guest of honor shouldn't be late for their party."

Gilda smiles getting up and stretches, she watches the pony grabbing bags of feed. He places them in bowels, turning towards the griffin, "you should head out...I'll catch up when I'm done."

Gilda shakes her head grabbing a filled bowl, "let me help you...it's the least I could do for the meal."

Butterscotch nods letting her hand out the vittles.

Arriving at the party the two separated, Gilda joining Rainbow Dash, while Butterscotch conversed with the local flower trio. Their tag team approach doing nothing to sway the stallion.

"How bout it Butterscotch," Roseluck a yellow coated mare asked, parting her rose colored mane from her chest.

Butterscotch inwardly sighed looking away from the exposed cleavage, "I-I don't know Rose...I am quite busy."

"Aw pretty please," A pale magenta mare pleaded, her curly green maned head resting on his shoulders.

"Don't pressure him Daisy," a pale raspberry mare chided.

"But Lilly...we need a stallion to help move those heavy pots," Daisy pouted, moving her finger against the stallion's arm.

Butterscotch inwardly sighs, hoping to have them end this silly game. Lilly shakes her head, turning around to grab a drink giving him a clear view of a white string as her amber tail swished.

"Well hello ladies," a dark grey pegasus greets, his tank top exposing his muscles.

The mares role their eyes knowing the brash mohawked pegasus, "Hello Thunderlane." They answered in unison.

"Ladies," Thunderlane greeted in, moving his hands against his cyan mohawk, "I can't but overhear that you girls need a...stallion per sey."

He flexes his arms, the mares rolled their eyes. Roseluck responded to the stallions bravado, "You sure you should be doing that...especially when you just got back together with Cloudchaser?"

"Hey come on," Thunderlane played off, "it was just a little spat...besides who says a stallion can't have more than one mare."

Thunderlane winked as the mares tried to hold back the sweets they just ate.

"I don't know," Daisy pondered, looking at the pegasus, "what do you think Cloudchaser?"

Thunderlane's eye's shrank slowly turning around to be met with the spiky blue maned mare, glaring at him.

"C-Cloudchaser," Thunderlane said slowly backing away from the angry mare.

"Hello...Thunder," Cloudchaser moved forward, bring her arm back.

"Wait! It's not what you..." Thunderlane's excuse was caught off as his muzzel was met with an angry mare's fist.

"Asshole," Cloudchaser spat, she looked to the three mares and stallion, "sorry about that."

"No worries...he did deserve it," Lilly said shaking her head, "still can't believe he slept with that mare from Cloudsdale."

"Yup!" Cloudchaser grabs a drink, chugging it down. Then grumbled, "can't believe he used my bed."

"What was that hun," Daisy asked, moving from her perch on Butterscotch's shoulder to observe the knocked out stallion.

"Nothing," Cloudchaser said gritting her teeth. She looks at the sweater wearing stallion and moving past the body of her colt friend she hugs his arms, saying,"Why can't all stallions be like you."

"Umm..." Butterscotches thoughts were interrupted. A scream echoing through the bakery.

The ponies turn their gaze towards a red beaked griffin, fire spewing from her mouth. She rushes to a glass of water only to find that the water emptied from a hole near the rim. Gilda frantically looks around and spots a mug sitting on the counter. She flew through the room nearly knocking down ponies left and right. The mug's contents go down her throat cooling the fire building in her mouth.

"Wow...lucky I'm not her," Daisy said aloud, the other three mares nod in agreement.

Butterscotch turns his attention towards the Rainbow maned mare, her wings twitching as she roared in laughter. Oh no. Don't tell me Rainbow's pulling these stunts.

"I wonder if there are more of them," Cloudchaser pondered aloud, lookng at the deceptive treats and beverages, "that prank did have Rainbow written all over it."

"How can you tell," Lily asked, taking a better look at the cupcake in hand.

"Cause...she did the same thing at the weather meeting last week," Cloudchaser said, leaning against Butterscotch, "Poor Flitter couldn't taste a thing for a week."

"You have a point there," Roseluck agreed, taking a better look at the cake at hand, "Pinkie Pie's pranks are usually playful...but hers..."

The mare's nodded knowing what she was leading to. Roseluck continues, "sure no ponies hurt but still...kinda wished she'd tone it down a bit."

Roseluck received a chorus of agreement. Lily finally taking a bite from her cupcake, a relieved smile plastered on her face.

"Ahh...my head," Thunderlane moaned, blinking the blinding light away. Cloudchaser let go of Butterscotch's arm and glares down at the stallion.

She let's out a bone chilling warning, "pull that shit again...and we're through."

She turns to the mares, "Good seeing you girls...and you too Butterscotch."

She makes her way to leave not before swishing her tail at the butter yellow pegasus's crotch. The flower trio giggled, while Butterscotch hid behind the blush.

"Wahaaa!" Buttercotch turns his gaze towards Gilda sliding into the kitcen. The sounds of falling pots and pans was followed by an enraged griffin with batter covered over body.

She turns her attention towards the poofy maned pony screaming, "You did this didn't you!"

Pinkie looked at her confused as she continued her rant, "you and your stupid jokes have done nothing but humiliate me!"

Her wings spread, a sign of predatory dominance. Glaring at the pink pony, "your nothing but an annoying dweeb!"

"Come on Dash let's go," She turns to leave, but hears something she would have never expected.

"No," Rainbow said, looking at the shocked griffin, "I was the one that set up those pranks."

"What!" Gilda gasped, pure betrayal etched on her face.

"They all weren't meant for you," Rainbow continued, "though that might make me a dweeb...wouldn't it."

"Your kidding Dash...right?" Gilda said, hoping beyond hope that this was all a lie, "I mean you wouldn't just humiliate me like that."

"I didn't mean to..." Rainbow never finnished as Gilda turned and ran out through the door. Rainbow Dash turns around to face the growing crowd, "Sorry about that everypony."

As Rainbow was giving out her apology, no one ever witnessed the yellow stallion slipping out through the back door.

Butterscotch shadows the griffin, trailing a good distance behind. Enough to see, but not be seen.

Nearing a mountain, her speedy flying grew sluggish. She lands on a cloud, slamming her fist into the pillow like substance.

"Dam her! Dam her!" She screamed, tears falling s her makeup runs purple trails along her white feathers. She pulls up a sizable mass from the already dwindling pile, squeezing and crying into the white pillow.

Butterscotch watches, hidden in his own cloudy grave. Hearing the sobs of a lonely female.

An hour passes and Gilda grew quite, laying on the thin mass of water vapor. Her inherent magic preventing her from plummeting to the ground but the already dwindled cloud was ready to give way under her weight. Butterscotch moves closer bringing his cloud, just an arm length away.

He sits atop the fluffy white mass watching the sleeping griffin, her wings wrapped around her frame. Butterscotch extends his wings, blocking the rays of the sun, letting her sleep her troubles away.

The sun was descending closer to the horizon, the stallion sat unmoving, just watching the rise and fall of the sleeping Gilda. She starts o stir from her rest.

"You know I'm awake..." she said, not turning to meet the ponies gaze. Hearing no answer she continues, "why?"

Silence ensued as she waited for the answer from the knew who knew it.

"Don't know," Butterscotch finally said, the griffin slams her fist into the cloud violently turning to face the pony.

"What do you mean you don't know!" She screamed, only to have the stallion say nothing. She spreads her wings in anger cutting into the clouds a fatal mistake, as she started to fall. She started to flap her wings in an acquired fashion preventing her from falling.

Butterscotch swoops down from his perch, wrapping his arms around her waist. He flaps his wings steadying himself and the passenger. A blush forms across the griffins face, her breast pushing against his chest.

Butterscotch brings her to the cloud, depositing his package on the fluffy mass. He sits next to shaking ball of fur and feathers, returning to his stony state.

"Th-thanks," Gilda finally said ending the continued silence.

Butterscotch remains silent looking at the incoming stars, "do you have a place to stay?"

Gilda was about to respond, but she shook her head, "no...I was going to crash with Dash...but I don't want to talk to her right now."

He turns his gaze staring into her yellow eyes a soft smile etched on his muzzle, "I have a guest room if you want."

Gilda narrows her eyes, "Why...why are being so nice to me?"

Butterscotch shrugs his shoulders, "do you really need reason for a warm bed."

"Coming from a guy," Gilda's wings twitched and her eyebrows furrowed "usually that means you just want me in the sack."

Silence ensued, but the was soon broken by the stallions roaring laughter.

"What's so funny!" Gilda said anger in her voice.

"Sorry," Butterscotch apologized wiping away a tear, "it's just that...I'm usually the one that gets...tricked."

He continues to laugh nearly falling off the cloud if not for a yellow hand grabbing hold of him.

"Get ahold of yourself!" Gilda screamed, holding onto him for dear life.

"So-sorry..." Butterscotch coughed ending his fit of laughter.

As he composed himself, he takes a better look at his companion. The moonlight played over her form, her skin tight shirt showing off her lean form and apple sized breast. The torn sleeves adding a slight ferocity, showing off her lean and supple arms. The dark blue shorts-shorts hugging the muscled cat legs, and the chiseled rump.

"You can stop staring now," Gilda said, glaring at the ogling pony.

"Sorry," Butterscotch responded, rubbing the bottom of his chin, "I finally understand why you'd think that."

"What do you mean?" Gilda said venom dripping from her voice.

"It's simple," Butterscotch stares into her golden orbs, a shiver runs through the griffin, "your beautiful."

Gilda looks away with a blush forming, "Wha-what are you talking about?"

"Like I said," Butterscotch stood , stretching his weary muscles, "your beautiful."

Gilda's brow furrows turning towards the pony, "how would know that...your a pony!"

Her shriek caused the ponies ear to splay, he looks towards her a smile on his face, "it's simple..."

He leans in closer till his muzzle almost touches her beak, "I'm a guy."

He kisses the tip of her beak, and kicks off the cloud, flapping into the air. Butterscotch laughed at the reddening griffin. His maniacal laughter angering the she beast. She jumps into the air, flying after the agile pony.

"Come back here," she screamed reaching for the pony only to have missed as he dove and weaved from her grasp.

They fly in the night sky, their bodies cutting dark lines against the moon pearl white canvas. Butterscotch continued to laugh and egg on the griffin, dodging at the very last second just to have her curse in frustration.

Reaching the edges of his home, he slows down enough to let her catch up. She tackles him in the air yelling, "Gotcha!"

"That you do," Butterscotch smiles, closing his wings.

"Woah!" Gilda screams, as she struggles to keep afloat, "How can you weigh so much?!"

Butterscotch continues to laugh, Gilda turned red from the task of keeping them afloat.

"You can stop now," Butterscotch said, as his hooves found purchase on the ground.

Gilda plops to the ground exhausted from the sudden chase and trying to keep the yellow devil from plummeting to the ground. Sweat covered her very being, her once black shirt sagged and clung tighter to her frame.

"I'm all sweaty now," Gilda complained, looking herself over and glaring at her aggressor, "you owe me asshole!"

Butterscotch rolls his eyes, motioning her to follow him, "come on...you can my shower."

"Yeah...and you think I'll just walk around naked till my cloths dry," Gilda shot back.

The stallion shakes his head, "I have some spare cloths that will fit you."

He lends a hand to the downed griffin, she looks at the hand and the pony, with very little options left she grabs hold. Butterscotch pulls her up, a grin spreading across his muzzle, he leans in whispering, "shame...I was looking forward to seeing that gorgeous body of yours."

A blush crosses the griffin, and her fist jabs the stallions shoulder. Butterscotch quickly backs away running and laughing to the warm confines of his home, followed by a red-faced griffin.

"Wow," Gilda said, leaving the steamy bathroom, "that's a huge shower."

"Thanks!" Butterscotch called from the kitchen, plates clanking on the wooden table.

Gilda enters the kitchen, a shirt hugging her braless body, barely covering her midriff. Baggy grey sweatpants cover her otherwise panty less crotch. She stares at the plethora of food steaming on the table.

"Whoah," She gasped seeing the banquet, "is this for both of us?"

"Yup," Butterscotch said, taking a seat.

Gilda sits across from the pony looking at her filled plate and the other various foods, "There's noway I could eat this all."

Butterscotch looks at the griffin to the food, and shrugs, "More for me then."

He starts to consume his meal like a proper gentleman. Gilda looks on as he finishes his plate moving for more, but pausing to look at the griffin, "is their something wrong?"

Gilda shakes her head responding, "N-no...not at all."

She takes a tentative bite from her meal, her eyes shrinking as she dug into it. Butterscotch smiles and continues to fill his famished stomach.

"No wonder why your so heavy," Gilda looks at the cleaned pans and plates. Her skin shrinking from the soapy residue, "you ate nearly three ponies worth of food."

"Says the griffin that tried to match me," Butterscotch teased as he dried off the washed plates.

Gilda jabs his shoulder, "I had like two...and a half."

"What was that," Butterscotch leans, to hear the repeated verse, but only received a playful shove.

"You heard me," a embarrassed griffin huffed, at the smiling pony. His continued smile made the corners of her beak rise. Soon she matched the pony's crazed grin.

"Well, dishes are done," Butterscotch stated, piling them in the pantry, "I'll go get your bed ready...why don't you relax on the couch for a bit."

"Sure," Gilda said, following the pony to the living room. She sits on the couch watching the butter yellow pony walk up the stairs.

"Gilda..."Butterscotch stops, spotting the drooling griffin. He shakes his head at the adorable mass of feather and fuzz sleeping on his couch. Walking up to the sleeping griffin he bridal carries her up to her room.

Using his wings he parted the sheets placing her into the soft confines of the bed.

"Good night," he whispers, wrapping her with the blanket. Butterscotch closes the door and heads to the bathroom for a much needed shower.
