As a filly Ivy felt out of place. It didn't help that she had both wings and a horn and it also didn't help that she was considered royal by most ponies, let alone the fact that she had a fear of heights, couldn't fly well, and barely knew magic. Her parents threw her out and she was left on the streets, without a home Ivy was forced to wander. Meeting with an earth pony, she found a new home.
