With the will to become the strongest warrior, Raian, the Saiyan of Speed has decided to leave Earth and travel the Universe in search of fighters to test his abilities.

Ending up in Equestria after learning the Instant Transmission from the natives of Planet Yardrat, Raian meets six ponies known as Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. He learns of their ruler, Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Sun, who has been alive for over 1,000 years. He comes at the time of the Summer Sun Celebration so he would be able to meet this immortal goddess, only to find that Princess Celestia was kidnapped by the Mare in the Moon, Nightmare Moon. Learning of the legend of this pitch black alicorn from Twilight Sparkle beforehand, Raian prepares to battle the Empress of the Night.

With the aid of Twilight and her friends, Raian manages to succeed in defeating Nightmare Moon, returning her to her former self, Princess Luna. The young Saiyan feints from using up all of his Ki and is taken to the hospital in Canterlot Castle by Princess Celestia after she arrives and ensures everyone that she was never captured. Raian awakens and finally gets to meet the Princess of the Sun. He challenges her to a friendly battle, which she accepts for reasons of her own. Princess Luna awakens shortly after and agrees to battle Raian alongside her sister after she returns to full power. Raian waits eagerly for the day of the battle, training vigorously to become a worthy opponent of the two Alicorn Goddesses.

But there was more resting on Raian's shoulders than he could know.
