A Savior From The Stars. (A Halo: ODST Crossover)

The Rescue

David took a deep breath, clicking the safety off of his Designated Marksmen Rifle as he stepped into the library. His visors night vision shown books strewn about, furniture knocked over, and glass broken. His heart pounding in his chest as adrenaline filled his veins and heightened his senses. As the orbital drop shock trooper started to climb the stairs, voices could be heard. Voices that had a Minotairian accent. David raised his DMR up to his shoulder as he moved closer to the voices.

"Heh heh heh, I say we rape this bitch first, before we kill her." One voice said. "Just for the hell of it."

"Yeah, I agree, she's just a pony anyway" a second said. "Besides, it's not like she can stop us, her magic is being nullified and her limbs and wings are tied down"

The first one chuckled "I do like a little bondage, come one, lets take care of her."

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen" David said before firing off two rounds as he stepped out of the shadows. "Princess, are you oka..ouf!"

The young princess sat stunned for a moment as the ODST cut the ropes and removed the magic restraint, she then jumped up and into her hero. "Yes! Thank you so much!" Twilight said jumping and embracing her rescuer in a hug. "They..they said they were.." She said between sobs as she released him.

"Don't worry about it princess." David said "come one, we have to get you out of here." He turned to receive a punch to the helmet sending him onto his back. Rolling onto his feet the ODST chuckled, "now there is the minotaur strength I know." David said dropping his rifle.

"So your the demon of Celestia's army, looks like your strength was nothing but rumor" the minotaur said stepping into the room. "My name is StrongArm, sergeant of the grand minotaur empire, and I will kill you, you pony filth."

David grabbed his side arm and fired off two rounds. Seeing the minotaur fall to his knees, David walked over to him and leaned down to his face, "before you die, i'll let you know who brought about your end. My name is David, former ODST and current captain in the Royal Equestrian Guard, and I'm not a pony" with a smile, he took off his helmet, "I'm a human" he said pushing the minotaur over. Grabbing his DMR, and a musket, the ODST looked at Twilight "lets go."

-everfree forest-

"Where in tarnation is yer captain?" Applejack asked. "And is Twilight okay?"

"Yeah! If your captain is as good as you say he is, why isn't he here?!" Rainbowdash demanded.

As if on cue, Twilight ran out of the bush out of breath. David was a few seconds behind.

"Twilight! Look out!" Rainbowdash said flying at David, thinking he was a threat. David only flipped her onto the ground, pinning her on her chest.

"Rainbow no! This is their captain!" Twilight said as David released his grip on her. "Plus he saved me from...." Twilight trailed off.

"Don't mention it." David said "really, don't. Not now at least." He looked at the warthog. "Shit, the Warthog won't carry all of us, unless..." David said putting a finger to his chin.

"Well duh?! How do you expect a pig to do that" pinkie pie said.

"Why would you make a poor little piggy do such a thing?!" Fluttershy demanded.

"And ridding a pig, so uncouth" Rarity added.

"No, a warthog is this vehicle, humans have tenancies to name war vehicles after things." David said. "Okay girls you sit in the seats. Twilight, your next to me. Men, you each stand next to your VIP, we will get them to Canterlot." David finished.

"Sir what about Applelosa?" Ruby lance asked, this made Applejack's ears perk up.

"What bout Applelosa?" What's going on?" Applejack demanded.

Sighing David looked at the apple farmer "Applelosa is under threat of minotaur invasion." He got helped twilight into the jeep. "Don't worry, I won't let Applelosa fall." As everyone got into the jeep, David took off towards Canterlot, ~at least I hope it won't~.

-Near Applelosa-

Deep within a cave, a regiment of minotaur stood around a large stone door as it was pulled open. The cave was about 13,000 years old, and metal lined its walls. At the far end, stood a glass and metal cylinder.

"Your highness, Sergeant Strong Arm failed. The princess, Twilight Sparkle got away" a younger minotaur said, running into the cave, and bowing "king Iron Shield?"

"It does not matter, we found a way to defeat their demon, with one of our own" Iron Shield said looking at a cryo tube. "And this metal monstrosity will be how."
