Chapter Nine: A Vault of Memories

As David returned the kiss, a blush grew on his face as he felt a hand on his gut moving lower. Grabbing her hoof and spinning her, pinning her to a the wall he broke the kiss. "Celestia stop. This is wrong, I'm going out with Luna." He was once again pinned and kissed again.

Breaking the kiss Celestia spoke "guess I cant help myself Jason," stopping she looked down grabbing a candelabra on a wall, and pulling it down as a secret door opened as she led him into it. The door slammed shut behind them and lights started to glow down a set of stairs. Celestia's horn glowed and they appeared at the bottom of the stairs. Pulling another switch on the wall, a door opened to a massive room. And inside of it lay the Liberty. The look on Celestia's face started to show pain.

Seeing this David reacted pulling her close to him and hugging her. It was now that without his armor he could feel how warm she was. "It's okay princess, I told you, I'm not mad at what you did."

A loan tear fell down her face. She looked down into his eyes. His beautiful blue eyes. ~Why are you so kind~ she thought.

-Earth 2548-

Bootcamp, it was harsh, it was brutal, it was as close to hell one would want to get. But that was over. David and Jason had enlisted together after graduating the academy. David cleaned his sniper, taking it apart and putting it back together. He could do this blindfolded and cuffed. His brother Jason was cleaning his Lmg while sitting next to each other outside. "Hey Jason, did you get to do your drop yet?"

Jason smiled slightly "not yet, have you done yours?" He asked.

"Yeah," he said smiling as  he chuckling as a guy walked up and handed papers to David. David looked down as he read his orders "their sending me to Reach, I leave today." And so the brothers said goodbyes and David left, spending the next three years on reach, until one day he was called to orbital station delta and was dropped into hell.

As they stepped into the ship, the ships lighting started to turn on. As they turned the corner he noticed a set of ODST armor. It's tag was his brothers designate Delta 3-4-3.

"Jason..." David fell to his knees. He saw bullet holes. He was shot but who...it was then he remembered what Celestia told him, a human gave his life to protect her and her child, Luna. A smile grew on his face as he stood and put a hand on the empty armor. "I'm proud of you, little brother" he turned to Celestia with a smile "Jason was my brother by marriage, ironically enough both of us have a pure earth bloodline and where born here. Giving us mostly identical looks."

This got a reaction from Celestia, he was her lovers brother. She blushed slightly, mainly because the law said he would inherent her as his wife, something she wouldn't object. She saw him walking out of the room and fall owed. Then saw him enter the armory, why was he in here? She started to tense up.

"Tia, would it be alright if I bring weapons from here, only to end this war your nation is in? If you saw no, I will not argue" he said looking at her.

-Deep in Minotauria-

A loud bang was heard then a smile grew on the a generals face. "So what's the effective range?"

A engineer shrugged "our estimate is anywhere between ten to fifteen times greater then a bow and arrow. And that's just this smaller version. The cannons have a range of up to a half mile general Pain Bringer " he said with a smile.

The minotaur general smiled "those ponies and that demon of Celestia's will suffer." He said with a chuckle "I want 5000 rifles and 250 cannons ready in two weeks, we will march and take Canterlot by force."
