Flam White is an ordinary, middle-aged stallion, whose leader-like and older brother has led into a deceiving life of trickery and swindling upon innocent ponies across the entire country of Equestria. After returning to an ill-infested Ponyville and selling a curing tonic, Flam collapses onstage. Waking up in the hospital, he is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and with two years left to live. As realization begins to kick in, he decides to take an extreme measure to ensure his family's financial future.

Teaming up with a certain cyan pegasus, the duo begin to both manufacture and sell crystal methamphetamine, unknowingly sinking deeper and deeper into the dark abyss of the not-so-hidden criminal underground of Equestria.
